‘Four Horsewomen Of The Apocalypse’ — Sen.
John Kennedy Rips Squad ‘Whack Jobs’
by SCOTT MOREFIELD } ~ Louisiana Republican Senator John Kennedy defended President Donald Trump from accusations of racism stemming from a series of tweets... then blasted the four members of the “so-called ‘Squad'” as “whack jobs” who are “destroying the Democratic Party.” On Tuesday night’s edition of “Tucker Carlson Tonight,” the Louisiana Senator expressed his belief that the president is not a “racist” while acknowledging that the tweet was “a poor choice of words” which “he clarified.” “What he has said now in clarification is that this is not China,” Kennedy said. “This is America, and in America, if you hate our country, you are free to leave. Now he said that in response to the behavior of the four congresswomen that you are talking about, the so-called ‘squad.'” Kennedy did question the wisdom of exchanging “playground insults” with the far left congresswomen, because “when you try to argue with a fool, that proves there’s two.” “The simple fact of the matter is that the four congresswomen think that America was wicked in its origins,” said Kennedy. “They think that America and its people are even more wicked now, that we are all racist and misogynistic, and evil. Now they’re entitled to their opinion, they are Americans, but I’m entitled to my opinion, and I just think they’re left-wing cranks, and they’re the reason that there are directions on a shampoo bottle. I think we should ignore them.”...
Jim Jordan Responds to
the Hot Mess Today in Congress

Germany: Nest of Middle Eastern Spies
by Soeren Kern } ~ Foreign intelligence services, especially those from Turkey, Syria and Iran, have increased their activities in Germany during the past 12 months... according to Germany's BfV domestic intelligence agency. The foreign intelligence services are not only pursuing dissidents among the large diasporas in Germany, they are also targeting Jewish and Israeli interests in the country. At the same time, Hezbollah, Hamas and the Muslim Brotherhood appear to be operating with impunity in Germany, while, according to the BfV, the number of Salafists in the country has tripled in recent years and now exceeds 11,000. Overall, the BfV estimates that Germany is home to more than 26,000 Islamists, an unknown number of whom pose an immediate threat of attack. The new figures are included the latest annual report of the Federal Office for the Protection of the Constitution (Bundesamt für Verfassungsschutz, BfV), and were presented by Interior Minister Horst Seehofer and BfV President Thomas Haldenwang in Berlin on June 27. The report, considered the most important indicator of internal security in Germany, draws a bleak picture and raises questions about the government's apparent passivity in face of mounting threats. Iran - Turkey - Syria - Salafists and other Islamists - Hezbollah, Muslim Brotherhood and Hamas - Weapons Proliferation   The BfV noted a "high number" of attempts by "covert Pakistani procurement structures" illegally to obtain technology for use in Pakistan's nuclear weapons program. The BfV also observed a "significant increase" in attempts by Iran to obtain technology for its missile program, which was not part of the Iran nuclear deal. The BfV reported that Syrian intermediaries were also continuing efforts to obtain products for weapons of mass destruction, including chemical weapons...
22 MS-13 Members Charged In Murders
Of Seven People Hacked With Machetes
by CHUCK ROSS } ~ The Justice Department charged 22 alleged members of MS-13 in connection with seven murders in the Los Angeles area... including one in which a rival gang member was dismembered with a machete. The indictment, which was unsealed Monday, focused on members of a Los Angeles-area subset of MS-13 known as the Fulton clique. Prosecutors called the San Fernando Valley-based gang a “particularly violent subset” of MS-13 that “has recently seen an influx of young immigrants from Central America.” The Trump administration has made MS-13 a major focus of his crackdown on illegal immigration and drug trafficking. The notoriously violent gang originated in El Salvador, but has strongholds in numerous American cities. Nick Hanna, the U.S. attorney in Los Angeles, said that the Fulton clique was responsible for 24 murders overall in the Los Angeles area over the past two years. Thirty-four members of the gang were indicted in 2017 in connection with three slayings. The latest indictment charges the 22 alleged gang members under Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) statute. In addition to seven murders, they are accused of attempted murder and trafficking more than $1.2 million in drugs. The indictment alleges gang leaders authorized and coordinated the murders of rival gang members, people who were believed to be working with law enforcement, and one homeless man who lived in a park in Hollywood controlled by the gang...
Congress Owes Troops Timely Funding
by Bradley Bowman and Mikhael Smits } ~ General Mark Milley, the president’s nominee to become the next chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, urged Congress  on Thursday to pass defense appropriations on time... The October 1 deadline for a new budget may seem far away, yet the summer recess means Congress only has a few weeks in session before then. Milley agreed with the bipartisan  National Defense Strategy Commission that failing to act before then would be “reckless.” When Congress fails to provide timely defense appropriations, it resorts to continuing resolutions (CRs), essentially copying and pasting the previous year’s defense budget, rather than revising it to address evolving and urgent needs. CRs create cascading problems for the Defense Department and American national security—stalling modernization, increasing costs, undermining readiness, and neglecting service members. A CR ignores the Pentagon’s budget request for the new fiscal year and locks in place old funding levels disconnected from new realities. A CR also deprives the department of the authority it needs to start new and essential programs. Consider the Navy and Marine Corps, for example. Depending on the duration, a CR would create a cumulative shortfall of $20.4 billion. It would also delay eighteen planned research and development programs, including ones related to unmanned vessels and artificial intelligence. The CR would also block thirty-three construction projects and force the delay or cancellation of scheduled fourth-quarter maintenance for ten vessels. CRs also waste taxpayer dollars due to supplier and contractor uncertainty. As General Milley noted, CRs represent an “inefficient use of the taxpayers’ dollars” and a “poor way to do business.” Senior Republican on the House Armed Services Committee Rep. Mac Thornberry  explained in May that stable funding “makes a tremendous difference. Everybody from the secretary to a plant manager of a subcontractor will tell you that having 12 months of funding that you knew was there enables them to be tremendously more efficient, get much more productivity and more value for the taxpayer dollars.” Until last year, Congress had failed to provide on-time annual defense funding for roughly a decade. Congress rightly demands that the Defense Department spend carefully and keep its programs on budget. If it falls back on another CR, however, Congress will own the blame for billions of dollars lost. Navy Secretary Richard Spencer has estimated that CRs cost the Navy $4 billion from 2011 to 2017. “We have put $4 billion in a trash can, poured lighter fluid on it, and burned it,” he said. He noted that “Four billion is enough to buy a squadron of F-35s, two Arleigh Burke-class destroyers, 3,000 Harpoon missiles.” The Navy’s 30-year shipbuilding plan noted the “powerful combined impact of predictable shipbuilding profiles and stable, on-time funding absent a continuing resolution.” Without an on-time defense appropriation, those benefits dissipate...
The Bipartisan Sanctuary City Shell Game
Arnold Ahlert:  Sen. Thom Tillis (R-NC) is trying to do Americans disgusted with rampant lawlessness a big favor. He is introducing a bill called “The Justice for Victims of Sanctuary Cities Act.” “The legislation creates a private right of civil action for the victims of sanctuary jurisdictions, allowing them to bring an action for compensatory damages against the sanctuary jurisdiction as a result of a violent crime committed by an illegal immigrant,” a press release explains. “Any sanctuary city or jurisdiction that refuses to waive its immunity as it relates to sanctuary-related civil action would be subject to the withholding of certain Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funding.”

Sanctuary jurisdictions epitomize the Democrat Party’s odious belief that they can ignore any law that doesn’t comport with their worldview. Thus we have hundreds of locales around the nation that knowingly obstruct immigration enforcement and shield criminals from Immigration Customs and Enforcement (ICE), using a variety of methods to do.

Tillis was motivated by the machinations of several sanctuary jurisdictions in his home state, and he supplied an anecdote revealing what it’s like going against a bankrupt ideology that supports anarchism to sustain itself:

Earlier this month, the Mecklenburg County (NC) Sheriff’s Office refused to notify ICE and comply with a lawful detainer request when it released a dangerous illegal immigrant from county jail who was charged with multiple domestic violence charges for strangling a woman and threatening to kill her. This was only one of more than 20 troubling instances this year of the Mecklenburg County Sheriff’s Office releasing potentially dangerous individuals after refusing to comply with detainer requests. The reckless sanctuary policy prompted criticism from the U.S. Attorney for the Western District of North Carolina.

Criticism is not enough, and Tillis makes it clear why his bill is desperately needed. “If politicians want to prioritize reckless sanctuary policies over public safety, they should also be willing to provide just compensation for the victims,” he said in a statement.

Tillis’s bill is co-sponsored by Sens. Lindsey Graham (R-SC), Chuck Grassley (R-IA), Joni Ernst (R-IA), Marsha Blackburn (R-TN), and Ted Cruz (R-TX). “If state and local public officials jeopardize the safety and security of the American people by refusing to comply with federal immigration law, they should be held to account by our citizens when such reckless endangerment leads to more violent crime,” Grassley asserts. “We are a nation of laws.”

Are we? In Maryland’s Prince George’s County, Police Chief Henry Stawinski and FOP president John Teletchea have released an instructional video that teaches police how not to cooperate with federal warrants, if those warrants are for “civil” matters related to illegal aliens. “Let’s be clear,” Chief Stawinski asserts, “the intent of this policy is to keep both you, and our community, safe.”

Pure nonsense. What these ideologically compromised hacks are saying is that illegals must commit a criminal  act before they will deign to follow federal law.

National Border Patrol Council (NBPC) President Brandon Judd notes the infuriating double-standard. “If you, as an American citizen, don’t pay your taxes or don’t pay a civil traffic fine do you think you’re going to be given a free pass?” he asks. “Not likely. Since traffic infractions are mostly ‘civil’ offenses, does this mean that residents of Prince George’s County don’t have to pay the fines and can ignore court appearances? And if not, why not?”

Because illegals have garnered special privilege, among Democrats determined to “fundamentally transform” the United States — or eliminate the nation state altogether. That project requires millions of illegals who can be used as canon fodder for the wholesale and purposeful breakdown of law and order, and the precipitation of a demographic shift aimed at entrenching progressives in permanent positions of power. Pathetically, Democrats are aided in their efforts by Chamber of Commerce-beholden Republicans, more than willing to provide their campaign donors with cheap labor.

Nothing speaks to this bipartisan sellout more forcefully than the reality that each party had control of the House, the Senate and the presidency for two years — Democrats from 2008-2010 and Republicans from 2016-2018 — and neither did anything to address what is now a nonexistent border, nor the most blatant form of selective law enforcement that sanctuary cities represent.

In short, the members of our Ruling Class are shameless shills for the globalist agenda. The one where America is just another nation (or no nation at all) and its workers — and citizens — are no more worthy of consideration than any other group of people, anywhere else in the world.

It is also why five equally disingenuous Supreme Court justices somehow determined that the “intent” of putting a question about citizenship on the 2020 Census transcended the legal ability to do so, even though the question has been included in the past with no problem — and despite the fact that a substantial majority of Americans support including it.

Unfortunately, in a rather uncharacteristic display of weakness, Trump has let SCOTUS get away with it.

Moreover, despite Tillis’s efforts, it is apparent that both parties remain steadfast in one overriding effort: They are desperate to prevent the public from knowing how many illegals reside in America. For decades we’ve been told it’s 11 million — and virtually everyone who uses that figure gets it from the Pew Research Center, which gets it from the Department of Homeland Security — the same DHS that has neverconducted a census.

The other government entity charged with determining the number of illegals in the United States? The U.S. Census Bureau, which hasn’t posed the question to all U.S. households since 1950. And since 1970, when the agency began sending out long- and short-form questionnaires, the question was included solely on the long form that was only sent to a sample of one-in-six households.

Since neither the DHS or the Census Bureau have done anything remotely resembling a genuine effort to determine how many illegals are here, the notion that it’s 11 million, and has remained on or near that total for over a decade — even as the most dedicated leftists now admit the border is “in chaos” — is utterly absurd.

Why the subterfuge? Because 20 million or 30 million illegals would wholly alter the parameters of the “comprehensive immigration reform” debate that inevitably ends with a “pathway to citizenship.” Even “worse,” real numbers would seriously jeopardize the entire sanctuary-supporting apparatus and the complete debasement of citizenship it represents.

In a better nation, Tillis’s bill would be a no-brainer. In fact, it would also include criminal liability for politicians and law-enforcement officials willing to allow Americans to be raped, murdered, and otherwise victimized to preserve a wholly corrupt status quo.

In this nation? Once can expect this bill to quietly die, courtesy of Democrats who care more about illegals than Americans, and Republicans who always promise to do the right thing but never follow through when they can actually do it. Thus, while Democrats control the House, Tillis, et al, will take a “tough” stand against sanctuary cities.

It’s what “business as usual” — better known as ruling-class-orchestrated anarchy — is all about.  ~The Patriot Post

Florida Sheriff — “I Will Not Enforce Assault Weapons Ban, Neither Will Most Sheriffs”

Dennis Lemma, who is the Sheriff in Central Florida’s Seminole County, told a group of 2nd Amendment activists recently that he would not enforce an assault weapons ban that could soon become Florida law if the “Ban Assault Weapons Now” amendment passes in the Sunshine State.

According to News965, the ban has the following specifications.

The amendment proposed in the state legislature would ban possession of assault weapons, which are defined as “semiautomatic rifles and shotguns capable of holding more than 10 rounds of ammunition at once, either in fixed or detachable magazine, or any other ammunition feeding device.”

Lemma, an ardent supporter of the 2nd Amendment and a first term sheriff who is running for re-election, said this about whether or not he would enforce such a law.

“It’s not only that I wouldn’t, the majority of sheriffs across the state would not do it,” Lemma said in the video. It’s up to the sheriffs what they are willing to enforce.”
