Kellyanne Conway defies congressional
subpoena at Trump's direction
By MORGAN CHALFANT
thehill.com } ~ White House counselor Kellyanne Conway defied a congressional subpoena demanding her testimony Monday on instructions from President Trump... raising the likelihood the House Oversight and Reform Committee will soon vote to hold her in contempt. White House counsel Pat Cipollone notified the committee in a letter Monday that Trump had directed Conway to evade the appearance, arguing that she is immune from mandated congressional testimony about her work in the West Wing. “The long-standing principle of immunity for senior advisers to the President is firmly rooted in the Constitution's separation of powers and protects the core functions of the Presidency,” Cipollone wrote to Oversight and Reform Committee Chairman scumbag-Elijah Cummings (D-Md.) on Monday. “We are adhering to this well-established precedent in order to ensure that future Presidents can effectively execute the responsibilities of the Office of the President,” Cipollone wrote. The committee convened briefly for the hearing Monday afternoon without Conway. scumbag-Cummings said he would schedule a business meeting on July 25 to vote to hold Conway in contempt if she does not appear for testimony. “We hope Ms. Conway will reconsider,” scumbag-Cummings said in opening remarks. “Our goal is to hear from Ms. Conway. If she does not change course, we have no choice but to hold her accountable.” Rep. Jim Jordan (Ohio), the committee’s top Republican, called the hearing “pure politics” and part of an effort “to silence one of the president’s top advisers.”...

Trump’s Tweets Against The ‘Squad’ Unify Democrats After liar-Pulosi, Progressives Feud
by AUDREY CONKLIN
dailycaller.com } ~ President Donald Trump’s tweets from Sunday suggesting freshman Democratic congresswomen “go back” to their home countries appears to have unified the Democratic Party after a week of feuding... Some pundits are saying this unification, however, may not be as positive for moderate Democrats as it is for progressive Democrats. The joining forces of Democratic Reps. worthless-Ayanna Pressley of Massachusetts, commie-Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez of New York, worthless-Rashida Tlaib of Michigan and worthless-Ilhan Omar of Minnesota — the self-proclaimed “squad” whom Trump was likely referring to in his tweets over the weekend — might further solidify the party’s progressive base ahead of the 2020 elections. Rush Limbaugh, host of “The Rush Limbaugh Show” said Monday that he believes Trump’s actions to bring the four congresswomen together is purposeful. “I think Trump sees this rift developing between liar-Pulosi and the Democrat leadership and these new communists on the left led by commie-Cortez, and I think he wants them back together again,” Limbaugh said. “I think Trump wants the Democrat Party to become known as the commie-Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez Green New Deal socialism party. I think he wants to hang that label around all of them, and for that to happen they have to be unified,” he continued. All four congresswomen have received harsh criticism for their progressive policy ideas and rhetoric regarding everything from immigration to the Israel-Palestine conflict to House Speaker liar-Nancy Pulosi’s record on race...  https://dailycaller.com/2019/07/16/trump-squad-unifies-democrats/?u...

Floor fight erupts as liar-Pulosi speaks ahead
of vote to condemn Trump's 'racist' comments
By Gregg Re
foxnews.com } ~ Escalating tensions on Capitol Hill erupted into a contentious floor fight in the House of Representatives on Tuesday afternoon... as House Speaker liar-Nancy Pulosi spoke in favor of a proposed resolution condemning "racist" comments by President Trump -- even as Republican leaders stood steadfast behind the president. When liar-Pulosi's remarks turned personal,  Georgia Republican Rep. Doug Collins rose to challenge her and demand that her words be "taken down." The extraordinary rebuke, the first of its kind involving a member of Congress and a speaker of the House in decades, theoretically could result in liar-Pulosi being barred from speaking on the floor for the remainder of the day. "There is no place anywhere for the president's words, which are not only divisive, but dangerous -- and have legitimized and increased fear and hatred of new Americans and people of color," liar-Pulosi, D-Calif., said. "It's so sad because you would think that there would be a given that we would universally, in this body, just say, 'Of course. Of course.' "liar-Pulosi continued, her voice rising: "There's no excuse for any response to those words but a swift and strong unified condemnation. Every single member of this institution, Democratic and Republican, should join us in condemning the president's racist tweets. To do anything less would be a shocking rejection of our values, and a shameful abdication of our oath of office to protect the American people. I urge a unanimous vote, and yield back the balance of my time." Collins then stood and asked if liar-Pulosi wanted to "rephrase that comment.""I have cleared my remarks with the parliamentarian before I read them," liar-Pulosi said, before walking away to applause. "Can I ask the words be taken down? I make a point of order that the gentlewoman's words are unparliamentary and be taken down," Collins said. "The chair will remind all members, please, please, do not make personality-based comments," the chair, Rep. Emanuel Cleaver, D-Mo., said. As the consultation dragged on, Pelosi then appeared to leave the House floor, which itself constitutes a violation of House Rules when someone’s words are taken down... "why progressives from countries that are more or less failed states with barely if any functioning government tell the people of the United States how their own government should be run", “go back” and fix the countries “they originally came from.” is not a racist comment.   https://www.foxnews.com/politics/house-floor-fight-pelosi-collins-c...

Mark Levin Blasts the Four Radical House Dems: ‘This Is Not Garden-Variety Liberalism’
By Wayne Dupree
lifezette.com } ~ Conservative radio host Mark Levin didn’t hold back when he called out the #RadicalFour for their vicious attacks on President Donald Trump... Reps. commie-Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.)), worthless-Rashida Tlaib (D-Mich.), worthless-Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.) and worthless-Ayanna Pressley (D-Mass.) are all gunning for attaching the racist label to Trump — just as they did to House Speaker liar-Nancy Pulosi (D-Calif.) last week. The media, rather conveniently, turned their heads away from that, however. Levin, who was lit up for his radio segment early this week, told his audience many Americans are sick and tired of these individuals and the evil things they say about the Jews and our country. “Their ideology is not garden-variety liberalism; they’re the burn-down-the-country crowd,” the host said, among other things, as Conservative Review pointed out. “Nobody’s talking about their race. They keep talking about their race. The president didn’t mention their race.” “And it is worth noting that they do hate the very country they live in,” Levin added, in reference to both worthless-Omar and worthless-Tlaib. “It’s not a matter of debate on policy and so forth, which is how they try to make it.”Levin also said the president didn’t start this fight. “He’s obviously frustrated by this, as president of the United States, as are many of us,” he said. “I suspect, as a man who loves his country … I suspect he’s had enough of this, that he’s not sitting there analyzing this politically.” “These are backbenchers who said hateful, outrageous things about their own country,” Levin concluded. “Nobody’s mentioning their color; people are outraged by what they’re saying.”...

Mitch McConnell Responds
To Trump’s ‘Go Back’ Comments
by HENRY RODGERS
dailycaller.com } ~ Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell responded Tuesday to President Donald Trump’s tweets against Rep. commie-Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and three other freshman congresswomen... saying both parties need to watch their rhetoric. “From the President to the Speaker to freshmen members of the House, all of us have a responsibility to elevate the public discourse. Our words do matter,” McConnell said at a press conference in the Capitol. “We all know politics is a contact sport, but it’s about time we lowered the temperature all across the board.” This comes as Speaker of the House liar-Nancy Pulosi announced Monday that House Democrats are drafting a resolution to condemn Trump’s tweets directed at the freshman congresswomen. However, House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy defended Trump’s comments, saying they were not racist. Trump defended himself Sunday night as Democrats and others have continued to accuse him of racism after he tweeted that freshman Democratic Reps. commie-Alexandria-Ocasio-Cortez of New York, worthless-Rashida Tlaib of Michigan, worthless-Ayanna S. Pressley of Massachusetts, and wprthless-Ilhan Omar of Minnesota should “go back” and fix the countries “they originally came from.” “So sad to see the Democrats sticking up for people who speak so badly of our Country and who, in addition, hate Israel with a true and unbridled passion,” Trump tweeted. “Whenever confronted, they call their adversaries, including liar-Nancy Pulosi, ‘RACIST.’ Their disgusting language and the many terrible things they say about the United States must not be allowed to go unchallenged. If the Democrat Party wants to continue to condone such disgraceful behavior, then we look even more forward to seeing you at the ballot box in 2020!” Trump’s tweets have caused major pushback from many, including some of those on both sides of the aisle.

How Trump Is Uniting Democrats
Thomas Gallatin:  President Donald Trump ignited an outrage firestorm on Sunday with a series of social-media messages in which he called out “Progressive Democrat Congresswomen” for their “viciously telling the people of the United States … how our government is to be run.” Trump then asked, “Why don’t they go back and help fix the totally broken and crime infested places from which they came[?] Then come back and show us how it is done.” While Trump named no names, it was clear that his message was directed at four radical-leftist congresswomen — commie-Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (NY), worthless-Ilhan Omar (MN), worthless-Ayanna Pressley (MA), and worthless-Rashida Tlaib (MI) — who have been engaged in a growing feud with House Speaker liar-Nancy Pulosi. Tellingly, he concluded his message, “I’m sure that liar-Nancy Pulosi would be very happy to quickly work out free travel arrangements.”

Cue the outrage that quickly cropped up from all sides.  Predictably, the Left responded in typical hysterics, yelling “racist!” Rep. Hakeem Jeffries called Trump a “racial arsonist.” Democrat presidential candidate commie-Bernie Sanders bloviated, “When I call the president a racist, this is what I’m talking about.” And of course commie-AOC chimed in, “Mr. President, the country I ‘come from,’ & the country we all swear to, is the United States. But given how you’ve destroyed our border with inhumane camps, all at a benefit to you & the corps who profit off them, you are absolutely right about the corruption laid at your feet.”

But by no means were Democrats alone in pulling out the race canard — some on the Right were too quick to see racism in Trump’s words. Matt Walsh wrote, “What absolute idiocy. This is a gift to commieAOC, worthless-Omar, and all Democrats. Anyone who thinks Trump is deploying some brilliant strategy, rather than just mouthing off like a child constantly, needs to have their head examined. … What’s worse is that he compels his sycophants to echo whatever dumb crap he says. So now we’ll be treated to three days of Trump fans explaining in all sincerity why non-white Democrats should indeed go back to where they came from. What a disaster. Again. Thanks, Trump!” David French bemoaned, “I can think of few worse things for the soul of the GOP or the health and unity of our republic than adopting a strategy of ‘be racist to own the libs.’”

To be fair, Trump’s wording was indeed (and intentionally) crass and provocative. However, to accept the Left’s narrative that Trump’s motivation was simply an expression of some deep-seated racist instinct is to miss the actual calculation. This is another classic case of Trump being Trump, by which we mean his uninhibited political bomb-throwing. As we have argued before, Trump plays politics like a Democrat, lobbing accusations against opponents that hit upon some grain of truth but primarily spark outrage.

Stepping back from the immediate emotion of the moment, Trump has now forced liar-Pulosi into defending the very congresswomen who had just last week called  her a racist. Has Trump now successfully ended the “civil war” within the Democrat Party? Such is the worry expressed by conservative media pundits. But what if Trump’s move was strategically aimed at hanging the hard-Left albatross of commie-AOC and her “Squad” around the Democrats’ necks? Was he seeking to force Democrats to circle the wagons around these leftist congresswomen so that the party en masse is viewed as the party of the extreme Left? It certainly is a possibility.

Furthermore, the sentiment expressed by Trump is only seen as “racist” when viewed through the leftist lens of intersectionality. How many Americans have become sick and tired of hearing from the Left that the U.S. is a terrible country because it is racist, capitalist, or because it is strong and successful? How many Americans are tired of being declared “deplorable” for believing in Liberty and defending the Constitution?

While much of the mainstream media will declare that Trump’s words were racist, the fact of the matter is they express the resentment many Americans feel for being labeled by the elites in this country as “wrong” or “backwards” for being proud of our country, its founding, its history, and its laws. It is not racist to demand that America’s borders are secured and our laws are respected. It is not racist to declare that someone who enters this country illegally is by definition an illegal alien, or that anyone who enters should first love this country. Now, a majority of Democrats are once again seen actively defending those extreme leftists whose aim is to fundamentally change America into a socialist nation.

Horrible: Democrats Set The Constitution On Fire With Fraudulent Impeachment

House Democrats unveiled two articles of impeachment against President Donald Trump on Tuesday morning after an investigation that violated fundamental provisions of the Constitution and the Bill of Rights.

The investigation of the president began with the complaint of a so-called “whistleblower” who turned out to be a rogue Central Intelligence Agency employee, protected by a lawyer who had called for a “coup” against Trump in early 2017.

Democrats first demanded that the “whistleblower” be allowed to testify. But after House Intelligence Committee chair Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) was found to have lied about his committee’s contact with the “whistleblower,” and after details of the “whistleblower’s” bias began to leak, Democrats reversed course. In violation of the President Trump’s Sixth Amendment right to confront his accuser, Democrats refused to allow the “whistleblower” to testify. They argue the president’s procedural rights, even if they existed, would not apply until he was tried in the Senate — but they also invented a fraudulent “right to anonymity” that, they hope, might conceal the whistleblower even then.

Schiff began the “impeachment inquiry” in secret, behind the closed doors of the Sensitive Compartmentalized Information Facility (SCIF) in the basement of the U.S. Capitol, even though none of the testimony was deemed classified. Few members of Congress were allowed access. Schiff allowed selective bits of testimony to leak to friendly media, while withholding transcripts of testimony.

Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), having allowed the secret process to unfold, legitimized it with a party-line vote authorizing the inquiry. The House resolution denied President Trump the procedural rights enjoyed by Presidents Richard Nixon and Bill Clinton, and denied the minority party the traditional right to object to witnesses called by the majority.

Rather than the House Judiciary Committee, which traditionally handles impeachment, Pelosi also deputized the House Intelligence Committee to conduct fact-finding; the Judiciary Committee was turned into a rubber stamp. Schiff held a few public hearings, but often failed to release transcripts containing exculpatory evidence until after they had passed.

In the course of the Intelligence Committee’s investigation, Schiff quietly spied on the telephone records of his Republican counterpart, Ranking Member Devin Nunes (R-CA). He also snooped on the phone records of a journalist, John Solomon; and on the phone records of former New York City mayor Rudy Giuliani, acting as President Trump’s personal lawyer.

Schiff’s eavesdropping violated both the First Amendment right to press freedom and the Sixth Amendment right to counsel. Yet he proceeded undeterred by constitutional rights, publishing the phone logs in his committee’s report without warning, confirmation, or explanation, alleging that Nunes and the others were part of a conspiracy to assist the president’s allegedly impeachable conduct. When Republicans on the Judiciary Committee asked the Intelligence Committee’s majority counsel, Daniel Goldman, to explain the phone logs, he refused to answer,

Ironically, Schiff had done exactly what Democrats accuse Trump of doing: abused his power to dig up dirt on political opponents, then obstructed a congressional investigation into his party’s and his committee’s misconduct.

Democrats’ articles of impeachment include one for the dubious charge of “abuse of power,” which is not mentioned in the Constitution; and one for “obstruction of Congress,” which in this case is an abuse of power in itself.

Alexander Hamilton, writing about impeachment in Federalist 65, warned that “there will always be the greatest danger that the decision will be regulated more by the comparative strength of parties, than by the real demonstrations of innocence or guilt.” Democrats have fulfilled Hamilton’s worst fears.

The Trump impeachment will soon replace the 1868 impeachment of President Andrew Johnson — which the House Judiciary Committee staff actually cited as a positive precedent — as the worst in American history.

In service of their “coup,” Democrats have trampled the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. The Republic has never been in greater danger.
