dailycaller.com } ~ House Judiciary Committee Chairman scumbag liar-Jerry Nadler said Monday that the heads of border and immigration agencies should face criminal prosecution... for what he says is child abuse at border detention facilities. “This is inhuman. Frankly, I think it’s criminal,” scumbagt liar-Nadler, a New York Democrat, told MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow.“There ought to be criminal prosecutions of some of the agency heads and some of the people for child abuse. This is clearly child abuse. It violates probably half a dozen laws.” scumbag liar-Nadler was commenting on reports from 13 House Democrats who visited a border facility in El Paso, Tex.  earlier on Monday. The lawmakers said they saw Central American migrants being held with limited supplies of water. New York Rep. commie-Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, who took part in the visit, claimed that Customs and Border Protection agents told female detainees to drink water from toilets. When asked whether she witnessed such an exchange, commie-Ocasio-Cortez declined to answer. She also reportedly screamed at agents in “a threatening manner” and refused to tour parts of the facility. Border facilities have been inundated this year with a massive influx of Central Americans applying for asylum to live in the U.S. The surge has stretched the resources at Customs and Border Protection facilities. scumbag liar-Nadler did not say who at the immigration and border agencies should face criminal charges. Kevin McAleenan is serving as acting secretary of the Department of Homeland Security. Ken Cuccinelli is serving as acting director of U.S. Customs and Immigration Services, while John Sanders is acting commissioner of Customs and Border Protection... scumbag liar-Nadler is just a fool, why doesn't he investigate to see if these accusations are true.

nationalreview.com } ~ House Democrats filed a lawsuit Tuesday against the Trump administration to compel the release of the president’s tax returns...  House Dems Sue Treasury Department for Trump’s Tax Returns
Representative Richard Neal (D., Mass.), chairman of the Ways and Means Committee, filed the lawsuit against the IRS and the Treasury Department in a final attempt to obtain tax returns that his panel has now demanded for months. The move is sure to exacerbate ongoing tensions between congressional Democrats and the various administration officials who have flatly refused to comply with their oversight requests for documents and witness testimony. Democrats have long demanded Trump’s tax returns, citing a 1924 law that grants lawmakers the authority to review any American’s income-tax return. The administration and its allies, meanwhile, have adopted a more narrow view of congressional oversight, insisting that lawmakers lack a legitimate legislative purpose for requesting the documents because their actual motivation is to embarrass a political opponent. Trump broke with decades of tradition by refusing to publish his tax returns during the 2016 campaign — a breach of protocol he justified by suggesting an ongoing audit precluded him from releasing the documents. Neal first demanded six years of Trump’s personal and business tax returns from 2013 to 2018 in a series of letters sent to the administration in April. Neal then subpoenaed Secretary of the Treasury Steve Mnuchin and IRS commissioner Charles Rettig demanding the documents, which he claimed he needed access to in order to investigate possible corruption related to Trump’s ongoing ownership stake in Mar-a-Lago and other properties that may have benefited from his elevation to the presidency... What is so important to see Trumps Tax returns. Get on to solving the issues for this country and stop wasting taxpayer money.

cnsnews.com } ~ Scores of children were reported to be among the injured when the Taliban detonated a car bomb near government buildings in Kabul on Monday, killing at least six people... It is the latest violent attack to take place even as U.S. and Taliban representatives are holding direct talks aimed at ending the long conflict. Following the rush-hour bombing, gunmen holed up in a building and a seven-hour gun battle with security forces ensued, eventually ending with the deaths of five terrorists. Officials said four civilians and two security force members were killed in the attack, and that among more than 115 people injured were at least 50 children from two nearby schools, who were hurt by flying glass. The Taliban claimed responsibility, saying its fighters had targeted a defense ministry logistics building. Also in the vicinity are several government buildings, the headquarters of the Afghan Football Federation, a television station, and the schools. The U.N. children’s agency UNICEF deplored the wounding of “children during one of their most mundane and important routines: Being at school.” “Schools should be havens of peace. Violence in or around schools is never acceptable,” said the agency’s executive director, Henrietta Fore. “An already dire security situation in Afghanistan has recently been getting worse. This violence, which keeps blighting futures and claiming young lives, must end.” UNICEF urged “all parties to the conflict” to end the violence and protect children...   https://www.cnsnews.com/news/article/patrick-goodenough/peace-talks-continue-taliban-terrorists-kill-six-injure-scores?mkt_tok=eyJpIjoiT0RJMU5qUmpNR1JrTXpCayIsInQiOiJvUmVuZm95ZjVPSHgwTXhpZlBaZ1NnaUtTM2txdVNJVlwvOG4xMlVDV1ZUSWZGdjZuVEN0UHBaaVl6VXJ3R2hOSkEwT1gwTW8rWnNHOE1mWlBnc1NFb2M4a3pYMHRGYnJ2V2ZiTmQxakVyeWpCeUI2Z3ZKRlkyY1gwUFwvQWdSUEpDIn0%3D

Former San Francisco Mayor Willie Brown says lowlife-Kamala Harris, other 2020 Dems

dailychristiannews.com } ~ The first Democratic presidential primary debates were held in Miami last week, and while a few of the candidates had a moment here and there to shine... none of them really distinguished themselves from the pack as the clear and undisputed front-runner, much less as a real threat to defeat President Donald Trump in the 2020 election. That seemed to be the general takeaway of Willie Brown, the former mayor of San Francisco and speaker of the California Assembly, who even had a tough assessment of the electoral chances of his former protégé and love interest, California Sen. lowlife-Kamala Harris. In his most recent column for the San Francisco Chronicle, Brown wrote: “The first Democratic debates proved one thing: We still don’t have a candidate who can beat Donald Trump. “California Sen. lowlife-Kamala Harris got all the attention for playing prosecutor in chief, but her case against former Vice President loose lips liar-Joe Biden boiled down in some ways to a ringing call for forced school busing,” he continued, referencing the key point in the debate when lowlife-Harris challenged loose lips liar-Biden on positions held nearly 50 years ago.“It won’t be too hard for Trump to knock that one out of the park in 2020,” Brown added. Brown had a few things to say about some of the other candidates as well and wrote that loose lips liar-Biden “did himself zero favors by telling lowlife-Harris that he opposed only busing that was ordered by the federal government. It was a weird endorsement of states’ rights and local jurisdictions’ right to segregate schools. That’s the best argument he could marshal against busing little kids miles across town?” He referred to Vermont Sen. commie-Bernie Sanders as “Rip Van commie-Bernie, looking and sounding as if it were still 2016,” and, in reference to the admitted troubles South Bend, Indiana Mayor Pete Buttigieg is having in his hometown of South Bend, Indiana following a police-involved shooting of a black man, Brown wrote: “OK, so do better as mayor before you try to be president.”...

jpost.com } ~  Angered by the slaying of Solomon Tekah on Sunday, thousands of protesters from the Ethiopian-Israeli community, and others... took to major roads and junctions around the country on Tuesday to protest against excessive police force directed at the community. The country was brought to a standstill, with some of the biggest highways such as Route 6 and Route 4, the coastal road and the Ayalon Highway all suffering closures in part leading to massive tailbacks around the country. In some locations where protesters blocked the roads, there was a noticeable absence of police and of any efforts to remove the protesters for several hours, apparently out of a concern not to create further confrontation between the Ethiopian-Israeli community and the police. In other locations however, such as Kiryat Ata, stones were thrown by protesters and a vehicle and tires set ablaze, with 19 protesters were arrested. Fires were set at other junctions as well. In Kiryat Ata a vehicle was set ablaze at a major junction, while the Azrieli junction in Tel Aviv was blocked by protesters Tuesday afternoon, the Yokneam Junction was also blocked and other roads were blocked in Netanya, Ashkelon, Jerusalem and many other locations during the course of Tuesday evening. The police said on Tuesday that its investigation into the circumstances in which Tekah was killed was ongoing and was being conducted in a “thorough and comprehensive” manner, although the police statement said that the court had issued a gag-order over details of the inquest. Tekah was shot and killed by an off duty police officer on Sunday, and his slaying has sparked protests by the Ethiopian-Israeli community in different parts of the country...

Thomas Gallatin:  In what Ivanka Trump described as a “surreal” event, President Donald Trump stepped across the line separating North and South Korea, becoming the first U.S. president to set foot on North Korean soil. On Sunday, Trump met North Korean dictator Kim Jong-un in Panmunjom, where the two leaders shook hands and Trump briefly crossed over a few yards into North Korea. The highly symbolic gesture was clearly intended by Trump to send the message that he is still serious about seeking a peaceful, diplomatic means to ending North Korea’s nuclear threat.

This was Trump’s third meeting with Kim, after the second highly anticipated summit in Hanoi, Vietnam, ended abruptly after North Korea failed to agree to any substantive policy changes. At the time Trump noted that “sometimes you have to walk.”

Following Sunday’s meeting, Trump offered guarded optimism regarding the restart of the denuclearization talks, stating, “They’ll start a process, and we’ll see what happens.” He added, “Speed is not the object. We want to see if we can do a really comprehensive, good deal. Nobody knows how things turn out, but certainly this was a great day. This was a very legendary, very historic day.”

Trump’s unconventional “personal diplomacy” foreign policy method has critics complaining of him offering legitimacy to ruthless despots like Kim. However, Trump argues that “a lot of great triumphs have been based on relationships.” The Wall Street Journal calls it the “Trump Doctrine,” where he relies on personal magnetism to lead to deal making. “Mr. Trump is betting, as he always does, that flattery and personal engagement can persuade Mr. Kim to give up his nuclear weapons.”

The president believes that establishing a relationship with Kim may pay off big in the long run, and thus far it has at the very least eased tensions. As far as U.S and South Korean interests are concerned, Trump has not conceded any ground, while at the same time he has given room for Kim to denuclearize while still saving face. Like Trump said, we’ll see what happens.  ~The Patriot Post
