dailycaller.com } ~ The chairmen of the House Judiciary and House Intelligence Committees hope to decide this week whether to subpoena... former special counsel Robert Mueller, California Rep. scumbag-Adam Schiff said on Tuesday. “We need to resolve this this week, and I hope we will. One way or another, he needs to come in and testify, and time is running out,” scumbag-Schiff told reporters, according to The Hill. scumbag-Schiff, the chairman of the Intelligence committee, also said that he and New York Rep. scumbag liar-Jerry Nadler, the chairman of the Judiciary panel, are “linking arms” in their request for Mueller to testify.  Both scumbag-Schiff and scumbag liar-Nadler have said that they are considering issuing subpoenas to force Mueller to testify about the Russia probe.  Mueller said at a May 29 press conference that he had no plans to appear before Congress to discuss his investigation. But lawmakers have reportedly been in negotiations with him about testifying. Democrats want Mueller to appear before Congress breaks for recess in August. “We want him before the August recess, so we hope to reach a decision this week,” scumbag-Schiff said Tuesday, according to Politico. Mueller’s team concluded its 22-month investigation of President Trump and his associates on March 22. A report of the investigation said that prosecutors were unable to establish that Trump or his campaign conspired with the Russia government. Prosecutors were less definitive on the question of whether Trump attempted to obstruct the investigation. Mueller neither cleared Trump nor exonerated him on the obstruction question.

dailycaller.com } ~ House Democrats on Tuesday released a number of changes to a $4.5 billion immigration bill... reportedly in hopes that more far-left Democrats will sign on.  After a meeting led by House Speaker liar-Nancy Pulosi Monday night, Democrats reportedly came up with a list of changes, such as requiring Customs and Border Protection to create health standards for children and adults in custody, including nutrition and hygiene standards, The Hill reported. The Department of Homeland Security would also be required to provide translation services to migrants in shelters. The new changes would also make it so that migrant children would spend less time at a shelter unless the Department of Health and Human Services contacts Congress saying there is not enough space, in which the migrant could not be transferred to another shelter until there is enough room. This all comes as apprehensions of immigrants have increased every month since January. There have also been over 100,000 encounters at the southern border in both March and April, making it so the border crisis is on track to be the highest it has been in a decade. House Minority Whip scumbag-Steny Hoyer’s deputy communications director Mariel Saez told TheDC that “Democrats are working hard to reach an agreement before the end of the June work period,” adding “If Republicans work with us in good faith to do so and an agreement is reached, Mr. scumbag-Hoyer intends to put it on the Floor.” However, Republicans are skeptical it will not include President Donald Trump’s request for an extra $4.5 billion to address the mass influx of migrants at the southern border... scumbag-Hoyer is lying, dems have not worked in good faith at all.

dailycaller.com } ~ The House passed a $383 billion spending package on Tuesday, which includes funding for a number of different government agencies... The package included five funding bills and passed the House in a vote of 227-194. It includes funds for Commerce and Justice; Agriculture, Interior, Environment; Military Construction and Veterans Affairs; and Transportation, Housing, and Urban Development, according to The Hill. The passage makes it so that now 9 of 12 appropriations bills have been completed before the July 4 recess. The house was hoping to have all 12 bills passed by the end of June. However, that will no longer happen. Democrats in the House are also planning on passing a 10th bill, which would fund financial services and general government services, later this week. The House will still need to complete the task of funding homeland security, over which Democrats and Republicans have constantly clashed  due to certain policies proposed by President Donald Trump, such as the border wall.  https://dailycaller.com/2019/06/25/house-passes-spending-package/?utm_medium=email

CNN’s John King: Problems At
The Border Didn’t Start With Trump

dailycaller.com } ~ CNN’s John King took time Tuesday to note that problems at the U.S. border did not start with President Donald Trump... Democrats have criticized Trump and his administration for its  immigration policies, as well as the treatment of migrants at the border. King said the U.S. faced many of the same problems under the scumbag/liar-nObama administration. “This particular issue is not new,” King said. “This has been a problem the U.S. government has had to figure out a solution to for a long time.” King then replayed an interview that former President Barack scumbag/liar-nObama did with ABC’s George Stephanopoulos, where scumbag/liar-nObama issued a warning to migrant families not to send their children “unaccompanied” to the U.S. “That is five years ago this very week. That’s five years ago this very week, in the sense that, again, there’s a current divide. The current president evokes emotions among Democrats.” King said. “A lot of progressives weren’t happy with that president, President scumbag/liar-nObama. They called him the ‘deporter-in-chief.’ But this issue has been unresolved, different pieces of it, for 20 plus years about unaccompanied children. That’s a clip from five years ago this week. When? How?”

What now, for those who
denied a 'crisis' at the border?
By Byron York
washingtonexaminer.com } ~  Congress is debating emergency humanitarian aid to care for migrants on the U.S.-Mexico border. The need is obvious. With virtually no barrier to stop them... thousands of migrants are crossing illegally into the United States every day. More than a million will come this year. U.S. law prevents border officials from quickly returning them. While they are being processed, some of the migrants, including children, are being kept temporarily in terrible conditions. American officials have an obligation to take care of them before those with no valid claim to be in the United States are returned to their home countries. Capitol Hill Democrats are reportedly torn about an emergency aid measure. On one hand, they want to care for the migrants. On the other hand, they fear approving aid would empower President Trump to carry out a plan to deport illegal immigrants whose cases have received full legal due process and who have been ordered deported. Such deportations used to be relatively uncontroversial but are now, apparently, unacceptable to some Democrats. This moment might be a time for introspection for those who have consistently downplayed the urgency of the situation on the border. Earlier this year, with the number of illegal crossings rising; with the nature of the crossers changing — more families and more children than in earlier years; with the testimony of border officials that they were unable to handle the situation — with all that happening, many Democrats and their supporters in the media forcefully denied that there was a crisis on the southern border. Here are a few — actually, more than a few — examples: House Speaker liar-Nancy Pulosi called the situation "a fake crisis at the border." Senate Minority Leader Chuck scumbag-Schumer called it "a crisis that does not exist." House Majority Leader scumbag-Steny Hoyer said, "There is no crisis at the border."House Democratic Caucus Chairman Hakeem Jeffries said, "There is no crisis at the border." House Foreign Relations Committee Chairman Eliot Engel called the situation "a fake crisis at the border." House Judiciary Committee Chairman scumbag liar-Jerry Nadler said, "There is no crisis at the border." Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, former chairwoman of the Democratic National Committee, said, "We don't have a border crisis." Rep. Lloyd Doggett called the situation "a phony border crisis." Rep. Earl Blumenauer called it "a fake crisis at the border." Rep. Sanford Bishop called it "a crisis that does not exist." Reps. Jesus Garcia, Jose Serrano, Suzanne Bonamici, Donald Beyer, Pramila Jayapal, and Adriano Espaillat called it a "nonexistent border crisis." Former congressman and current California Attorney General scumbag-Xavier Becerra said, "There is no border crisis." All are in public office and all have a say in determining policy. In the media, "Never Trump" Republicans, former Republicans, and other commentators have joined in... I wonder will these dems be re-elected to represent you and this country.

SEAL Murder Case Takes Another
Strange Turn

Harold Hutchison:  Prior to Memorial Day, we  covered the case of Eddie Gallagher — one of several cases in which there was a potential for President Donald Trump to issue a pardon. According to Fox News, that case took a shocking turn this past week when a different SEAL claimed he was responsible for the death of an ISIS terrorist, largely because he feared the dying terrorist would be tortured by Iraqi government troops. This is the latest development in a case that has been marred by prosecutorial misconduct.

Despite Special Operator 1st Class Corey Scott’s admission during his bombshell testimony that he essentially euthanized the terrorist, Navy prosecutors  won’t drop the murder case against Gallagher.

As we noted back in May, Gallagher faces serious charges. If it’s proven beyond a reasonable doubt that he did commit the acts he is accused of carrying out, then he should be imprisoned for a long time. The problem is that while he needs to be held accountable, the same must be true for those guilty of prosecutorial misconduct.

The allegations of misconduct by the prosecution, including the sending of malware-laced emails to the Navy Times and Gallagher’s attorneys, already cast a cloud over this prosecution. Even though new prosecutors were assigned, there seems to have been little accountability beyond that. Nor has there been any real outrage from the folks who usually get up in arms about a fair trial.

Now, after this revelation by a fellow SEAL, it’s beyond doubt that this case has gone haywire. Can we trust that a conviction of Gallagher was really obtained fairly? We already have valid reasons to doubt if that is the case. If we can’t be certain that the conviction was obtained fairly, then a pardon may be called for.

The case was already controversial before the misconduct allegations, largely due to some past incidents where troops faced either investigation or prosecution. Now, the admission of another SEAL will only add to it. Corey Scott was given immunity in exchange for his testimony, and so that can’t be used as a basis to prosecute him, at least not without the Navy Judge Advocate General Corps going back on its word to Scott. Then again, given that they tried spying on defense lawyers and journalists … could charges against Scott for an act of mercy (however misguided) be ruled out?

It wouldn’t be as difficult to give some benefit of the doubt in this matter if we hadn’t seen SEAL Team Six and the CIA smeared over their operations in the Global War on Terror. We also have to keep in mind that captured al-Qaida manuals (ISIS is an al-Qaida spinoff) instruct members to claim mistreatment and cry “torture” if captured.

So, where do we go from here? While all of the evidence is not public, at this point, it’s almost unimaginable that a member of the panel in Gallagher’s court-martial could vote for conviction. With all that uncertainty, it may be time to end the prosecution, either with the Navy dismissing the charges, or, if all else fails, President Trump issuing pardons to Gallagher and Scott.  ~The Patriot Post
