Senate Investigators Suspect FBI Documents Were
Manipulated By Deputy Director Andrew McCabe
by sundance
{ theconservativetreehouse.com } ~ Journalist Paul Sperry dropped a bombshell tweet yesterday highlighting issues that have been longstanding within a senate investigation... This is a BIG deal, obviously. However, it is actually an even bigger deal when put into context with prior inquiry by Senate Judiciary Chairman Chuck Grassley about FBI manipulating FD-302’s, notes taken by FBI agents during interviews. The current issue seems to align with Senator Chuck Grassley suspecting Andrew McCabe manipulated the FD-302 investigative notes from FBI Special Agent’s Peter Strzok and Joe Pientka, after they interviewed Mike Flynn. There is enough sketchy and contradictory information giving weight to a likelihood that Deputy FBI Director Andrew McCabe told FBI agents Strzok and Pientka to shape their FBI reports of the interview FD-302’s to assist a “Flynn lied” narrative...   https://theconservativetreehouse.com/2018/06/08/senate-investigator...

Rino Warmonger McCain Attacks Trump -
America is Supposed to Roll Over
{ rickwells.us } ~ America and the world, with the exception of President Trump and a spattering of Senators and Congressmen... is being led towards a homogenous degradation, a race to the bottom, by traitors. None of them is more visible and more outspoken than establishment tool rino-John McCain (R-AZ). On Friday, prior to his departure for the G7, President Trump told reporters at the White House, “Why are we having the meeting without Russia being in the meeting? I would recommend — and it’s up to them, but Russia should be in the meeting, it should be a part of it. Whether you like it or not, and it may not be politically correct, but we have a world to run.” We can imagine him giving an elbow nudge to John Bolton and saying, “Watch rino-McCain,” just prior to making those comments. rino-McCain was predictable both in his furious hatred for Trump and for Russia, calling the suggestion the “antithesis” of principled realism and “a sure path to diminishing America’s leadership in the world.”...Just knock it off rino.

Commie Cadet Spenser Rapone, Booted Out Of Army
by Jeff Dunetz
{ lidblog.com } ~ Near the end of September, we reported the story of Spenser Rapone, an infantry officer in the U.S. Army and a graduate of West Point...who issued support for Colin Kaepernick with a message saying, “Communism will win.” Now we learn that Rapone is being booted out of the Army. Spenser Rapone is scheduled to speak during July’s Socialism 2018 conference. His bio on the conference site revealed his fate: Spenser Rapone is a former Army Ranger and Infantry Officer recently separated from the military for speaking out against its imperialist violence. He enlisted as an infantryman out of high school in 2010, and deployed to Afghanistan in 2011. After returning from his combat tour, he applied and was accepted into the United States Military Academy at West Point, NY in 2012, graduating and receiving his commission in May 2016. Deciding he could no longer stomach the immorality of US imperialism, he spoke out against the reprehensible actions of the military in September 2017. He ultimately resigned his commission, and was separated from the Army in June 2018 with an Other Than Honorable discharge...   https://lidblog.com/spenser-rapone-commie-cadet/

Democratic Support for Israel’s Right to Self Defense
Far From Guaranteed in Congressional Battle
by Adam Kredo
{ freebeacon.com } ~ In the wake of new congressional resolution to support Israel's right to self defense amid a massive and unending wave of Palestinian violence stoked by Hamas... Democratic support for the Jewish state's defense remains in question, according to a top lawmaker pushing the new pro-Israel measure. The bipartisan resolution, recently introduced by Reps. Lee Zeldin (R., N.Y.) and Josh Gottheimer (D., N.J.), would put Congress firmly on Israel's side as it takes defensive measure to protect its citizens from a wave of violence sponsored by the terrorist group Hamas, according to a copy of the resolution obtained by the Washington Free Beacon. While such a measure would have gained broad bipartisan support in years past, a growing anti-Israel wave in the Democratic Party is making support for the latest measure controversial, according to Zeldin, who spoke about this growing trend in an interview with Free Beacon...The Dem party is a socialist party and they are falling.

Expect a toothless IG report: More cover-up!
by LARRY KLAYMAN

{ wnd.com } ~ With what we have seen at DOJ and on the federal bench of late with regard to the rubber stamping of government tyranny... be it a Bunkerville, Nevada, with the Bundy family, or the unchecked legal jihad of Special Counsel Robert Mueller, in which Attorney General Jeff Sessions and Deputy Attorney General Rob Rosenstein, both political hacks, are complicit – as a young lawyer I no longer would have accepted a position with DOJ as a federal prosecutor, if I had to do it all over during the early part of my legal career. Candidly, I would have been a criminal defense lawyer, which is part of my legal practice today. This is because based on experience I have come to the point of not believing a word the federal government says, but also have developed a heightened disgust for the government “yes men and women” who infest the federal judiciary, with some exceptions. Let’s also take this a step further in dissecting the rank lying and deceit the American people are fed on a daily basis from the elite government establishment in the capital of corruption, Washington, D.C. This lying and deceit is then amplified by the cable networks in particular, which tout federal government actions as if they are for real. Of course, the likes of CNN, MSNBC and, of course, Fox News give their reporting their own special political spin, but the effect of furthering government misinformation from elite establishment so-called leaders, is the same nevertheless. That is why our president and yours truly harbor such disdain for the mainstream media, as it rarely reports anything resembling the full truth about the charade in our justice system and the government in general... .

Crying 'Wolf' on Entitlements?

by Brian Mark Weber:  Social Security. It’s the metaphorical Third Rail of American politics. But if we don’t act soon, both Social Security and Medicare are heading off the tracks.

“Sure,” you say. “How many times have we heard that before?” It’s almost as though the American people have become deaf to the repeated calls for Social Security reform. And it’s no wonder. We hear about it ad nauseam every election cycle, and then, when the dust settles, our elected representatives kick that can down the road. All the while, people still receive their monthly checks, so any collapse in the system seems to be a problem for the next generation. After all, why deal with something when it’s not hitting us now?
Well, that “now” moment is looming, and it’s going to be painful if we don’t act soon.
Ben Shapiro writes, “Medicare and Social Security, along with Medicaid, represent a majority of the federal budget each year, and represent mandatory spending. And Social Security has been running a negative cash flow for years. Our gigantic national debt number doesn’t include unfunded liabilities to these programs. According to some studies, if we include expected shortfalls from Medicare and Social Security in the debt, our debt is actually $90.6 trillion.” And what has Congress done about it? Nothing.
It’s one thing for Democrats to be irresponsible with the federal purse, but Republicans have had plenty of opportunities over the past two decades when they either held both houses of Congress or all three branches of government. In each case, Republicans acted with the same willful neglect. Or they failed to act out of fear of being demonized.
Every time a conservative politician utters the words “Social Security reform,” Democrats warn that grandma will be thrown off the cliff. No, really. In 2012, the leftist Agenda Project Action Fund launched an ad showing a man meant to look like then-House Budget Committee Chair Paul Ryan pushing a wheelchair-bound senior off a cliff. If you think those ads aren’t effective, consider that Speaker Ryan hasn’t talked much about saving Social Security or Medicare since.
And while President Donald Trump has been effective in cutting taxes and rolling back federal regulations, he signed more spending into law and, as a candidate, promised not to touch entitlements. If the most brazen outsider ever to win the presidency won’t reform entitlements, who will?
Democrats, of course, have the answer to fixing our entitlement mess: raise taxes on “the rich.
But what about that Social Security lock box or trust fund that we always hear about?
As the Washington Examiner’s Philip Klein reports, “The ‘trust fund’ is actually an accounting fiction that pretends that spending doesn’t ultimately all come from the bank accounts of taxpayers. But the conceit is that because the federal government for decades used money intended for Social Security to pay for other extravagant spending, the Treasury built up IOUs to the Social Security program that enable it to keep up with benefits. By 2034, however, those past program surpluses will be spent, meaning that benefits will have to be slashed by 25 percent for Americans who are around 50 years old right now.”
More immediately, Social Security’s costs are projected to exceed its income this year for the first time since 1982, forcing the government to “unlock” the lock box. Again. Worse, The Daily Signal’s Romina Boccia notes, “Social Security is still considered solvent and able to pay full benefits because it has accumulated a $2.9 trillion trust fund, but since the entirety of its trust fund consists of IOUs, cash-flow deficits must be financed by general revenue taxes or new public borrowing.”
Meanwhile, if nothing is done about Medicare, the program will run out of money in 2026 — just eight years from now. Yes, Democrats promised us that liar-nObamaCare would save Medicare. But according to Investor’s Business Daily, “Despite the 167 changes made by liar-nObamaCare and the $700 billion in supposed savings, Medicare’s doomsday prediction is exactly where it was 18 years ago.”
It seems like the only solution out there involves the government taking more and giving back less to the American people. But real, commonsense solutions have been proposed. For example, private retirement accounts for younger workers just might break our dependency on a troubled government entitlement that’s on its death bed. Such ideas are innovative but complex. Implementing them will take a real effort by members of Congress who up until now have avoided Social Security like the plague.
With Republicans holding more political power in Washington than they’ve enjoyed in a century, the time is now for conservatives to finally show some true leadership. Thirty years ago, 2034 seemed like forever. Now, forever is practically here.
The inconvenient truth, however, is that most Americans don’t want politicians to fix it. Everyone is entitled to the money they paid into the system, after all, lest Social Security be exposed as the Ponzi scheme it really is. Thus, a conservative minority is left to cry “wolf” to a disinterested American people —only this time, the wolf is really out there.   ~The Patriot Pos

TEA PARTY -> Lois Lerner Case Explodes:
IRS Docs Link McCain’s Office To Tea Party Attacks

Since announcing his brain cancer was terminal, Arizon Sen. John McCain has continued to make headlines, but not due to his medical status. Instead, it has been one controversy after another revolving around him, and now one more had been added to the list.

This one is based in his dislike not for Ted Cruz or Rand Paul, but of the tea party.

McCain has never really endeared himself to conservatives, and he made his feeling public about the tea party movement at a breakfast hosted by the Christian Science Monitor in 2015, according to a Yahoo report.

“I think also — I probably shouldn’t say this — but some of (the tea party) appeals to the bad angels of our nature rather than the better angels of our nature,” McCain said.

This attitude ties into the latest scandal swirling around McCain.

One of a number of scandals that plagued President Barack Obama and his administration involved the IRS targeting tea party groups after 2010. It seemed that their tax-exempt status requests were denied or delayed due to intense political partisanship in the agency.

In May 2013, The Washington Post reported that the IRS’s exempt-organizations division director Lois Lerner “let slip” the week prior “that low-level IRS staffers had focused extra scrutiny on conservative groups with words such as ‘tea party’ or ‘patriot’ in their names.”

In addition, “internal reviews have shown that Lerner knew about the targeting in 2011 — but neither Congress nor the public knew until (2013).” Despite this, Lerner was never prosecuted and was allowed to retire with her taxpayer-funded pension intact.

This did not change, even after House Ways and Means Committee Chairman Kevin Brady, a Texas Republican, and Tax Policy Subcommittee Chairman Peter Roskam, an Illinois Republican, wrote a letter to Attorney General Jeff Sessions. In it, they begged him to reopen a probe into the matter, according to Jay Sekulow, chief council for the American Center for Law and Justice, writing in a commentary for Fox News.

When President Donald Trump was sworn into office, some held out hope that the perceived injustices from Obama’s tenure would somehow be made right. However, in September 2017, Trump’s administration had already preemptively declined to pursue criminal charges against Lerner “based on the available evidence,” according to Fox News.

But more has since been uncovered about the scandal. Government watchdog group Judicial Watch has obtained and released “internal IRS documents, including material revealing that Sen. John McCain’s former staff director and chief counsel on the Senate Homeland Security Permanent Subcommittee, Henry Kerner, urged top IRS officials, including then-director of exempt organizations Lois Lerner, to “audit so many that it becomes financially ruinous.”

Judicial Watch dd0e

JW President @TomFitton: Much of what you know about the IRS scandal is thanks to JW... Our new docs show the scandal is bipartisan in nature. A McCain staffer suggested Lois Lerner audit all of the 501(c)(4) groups in a way that'd be financially ruinous.

Meeting notes from April 30, 2013, involving Kerner, Lerner, “and other high-ranking IRS officials” were obtained by JW. With the meeting taking place only 10 days before the IRS scandal exploded into the public view, they are particularly incriminating against Kerner and Lerner:

“Henry Kerner asked how to get to the abuse of organizations claiming section 501 (c)(4) but designed to be primarily political. Lois Lerner said the system works, but not in real time.”

“Henry Kerner noted that these organizations don’t disclose donors. Lois Lerner said that if they don’t meet the requirements, we can come in and revoke, but it doesn’t happen timely.”

“Nan Marks said if the concern is that organizations engaging in this activity don’t disclose donors, then the system doesn’t work. Henry Kerner said that maybe the solution is to audit so many that it is financially ruinous. Nikole noted that we have budget constraints.”

“Elise Bean suggested using the list of organizations that made independent expenditures. Lois Lerner said that it is her job to oversee it all, not just political campaign activity.”

Thus far, there is no evidence that McCain knew about or directed Kerner to take such action. It is plausible that Kerner, knowing of McCain’s dislike of the tea party, opted to be a proactive and loyal staffer by urging the IRS to take action against the groups.

But McCain’s personality does little to keep him far removed from the scandal and tongues are wagging with speculation as to his involvement. Regardless, McCain’s frosty relationship with President Donald Trump has not made the Arizona senator many fans among Trump supporters.

New suspicions about him betraying the tea party won’t help matters at all.

Chelsea Handler Says Fox Doesn’t Work With
Black People, Obviously Doesn’t Watch Network

Humor is supposed to be based on truth. After all, the reason we laugh at a joke or scenario is because it triggers a feeling of recognition about reality, especially if it’s presented in an unexpected way.

It doesn’t look like “comedian” Chelsea Handler has a very firm grasp on truth or reality, however.

After a production error during a Fox News broadcast was called out by users on Twitter, the raunchy and sex-obsessed Handler tried to bash the network … but ended up showing off her ignorance instead.

“Fox News honored Aretha Franklin by using a graphic that contained a photo of Patti LaBelle,” the comedian and television host posted on Twitter Thursday evening.

That part was true enough: Fox admitted that they made a mistake on a background slide during a tribute to the late soul singer, and accidentally showed a faded photo of LaBelle. The main image still showed Franklin, who passed away on Thursday in Detroit.

Broadcast television is complex, which you would think Handler understands after being involved in TV for many years. Honest mistakes happen on every network. But no: In Handler’s alternate reality, the only explanation for the mistake was racism.

“It’s probably hard for anyone who works at Fox News to tell black people apart because they’ve never worked with any,” she declared.

Chelsea Handler  @chelseahandler

Fox News honored Aretha Franklin by using a graphic that contained a photo of Patti LaBelle. It’s probably hard for anyone who works at Fox News to tell black people apart because they’ve never worked with any.

Was she trying to be bitter or funny? It was hard to tell, but either way, that statement shows just how isolated the Hollywood left is from reality.

If she really believes that Fox has “never worked with any” black people, maybe she should try an experiment: Actually watch the channel for a minute.

She would probably tune in to the face of Harris Faulkner, the enthusiastic and Emmy-winning host of “Outnumbered,” which airs every single weekday.

Or, maybe she could get a clue from Deneen Borelli, another well-known face of Fox News for nearly a decade. How about the venerable Juan Williams, co-host of “The Five” and a “Fox News Sunday” regular for over 20 years?

Nah. They apparently don’t count, because Handler would rather live in an alternate reality of ignorance than admit she was the one making racial assumptions.

We’re not finished! Moving on to frequent guest contributors to Fox News, how about Candace Owens? Brandon Tatum? Ben Carson? Larry Elder? All of these smart individuals are familiar faces at Fox, and all are — look closely! — African American.

That’s saying nothing of the behind-the-scenes staff at Fox, a good number of whom are of course black. In fact, it’s completely possible the photo mix-up was accidentally made by a black employee. Handler openly assumed the race of the staff members who made the error, while knowing nothing.

Once again, the left has tipped their hand and revealed just how elitist and out of touch they are.

Handler has likely never turned on Fox News in her life, yet she thinks she’s an expert on it. She eagerly diminishes and waves away the contributions of black Americans to one of the most popular news stations in the nation, while lecturing others about race.

This type of attitude implies that only “liberal approved” black voices count. If they don’t parrot a 43-year-old white comedian’s politics, they’re invisible to her.

That arrogant view, and not an honest editing mistake, is perhaps the real outrage here … and it’s exactly why so many black voters are walking away from the left.
