Trump May Invoke ‘Insurrection Act’ to
REMOVE Illegal Immigrants From U.S.
by Jeff Dunetz
lidblog.com } ~ President Trump will do anything within the law to solve the problem of illegal immigration. The Daily Caller is reporting that he may use an obscure 1807 law called the Insurrection Act... as his next step to help solve the illegal immigration crisis. The Insurrection Act is a United States federal law that governs the ability of the President of the United States to deploy military troops within the United States to put down lawlessness, insurrection, and rebellion. The report cites multiple senior administration officials say “the president intends to invoke the “tremendous powers” of the act to remove illegal immigrants from the country.” A crucial part of the Insurrection act says: Whenever the President considers that unlawful obstructions, combinations, or assemblages, or rebellion against the authority of the United States, make it impracticable to enforce the laws of the United States in any State by the ordinary course of judicial proceedings, he may call into Federal service such of the militia of any State, and use such of the armed forces, as he considers necessary to enforce those laws or to suppress the rebellion. The President, by using the militia or the armed forces, or both, or by any other means, shall take such measures as he considers necessary to suppress, in a State, any insurrection, domestic violence, unlawful combination, or conspiracy, if it—(1) so hinders the execution of the laws of that State, and of the United States within the State, that any part or class of its people is deprived of a right, privilege, immunity, or protection named in the Constitution and secured by law, and the constituted authorities of that State are unable, fail, or refuse to protect that right, privilege, or immunity, or to give that protection; or (2) opposes or obstructs the execution of the laws of the United States or impedes the course of justice under those laws. In the past, the Act was used for everything from Lincoln’s justification for the Civil War to Eisenhower’s use of the national guard to enforce Brown v. Board of Education in Arkansas, and Bush #41 using the act to send troops to help quell the 1992 L.A. riots. Beyond the Insurrection Act, the President intends to declare the U.S. is presently full...  https://lidblog.com/insurrection-act/

OVERWHELMING Evidence Proves scumbag/liar-nObama Lied about Knowledge Of scumbag/liar-Hillary’s Illegal Email Server
by americanlibertyreport.com:  Judicial Watch announced yesterday that it has obtained new emails that prove former president Barack scumbag/liar-nObama lied when he said he knew nothing about scumbag/liar-Hillary Clinton’s emails... until he heard about it on the news like the rest of America. The proof comes from a batch of emails dating back to 2012. It has taken this long for a court-ordered discovery to bring the evidence we all knew existed to light. Considering scumbag/liar-nObama and his surrogates continue to claim his was the most “scandal free” presidency in modern history, it will be interesting to see how the mainstream media buries this one. The discovery centers on the question of whether or not scumbag/liar-Hillary Clinton installed a private server in her home to intentionally evade the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA). This is the policy that guarantees media outlets and journalists the right to see government communications. Without it we wouldn’t know half of what we know now about scumbag/liar-nObama and scumbag/liar-Hillary’s years in the White House. The FOIA request Judicial Watch used to gain access to that batch of emails—one that Judicial Watch was only able to use because they got a court order–shows that the scumbag/liar-Clinton email system was “one of the gravest modern offenses to government transparency.” Judicial Watch posted the newly released emails, and they show that scumbag/liar-nObama himself using a pseudonym communicated directly with scumbag/liar-Clinton about the matter... From day one of his presidency I have label the scumbag a liar.

scumbag-Schumer Accused
of 'Unprecedented' Obstruction
by Amber Athey
dailycaller.com } ~ Senate Republicans are knocking Senate Minority Leader Chuck scumbag-Schumer for “unprecedented obstruction”... of Trump nominees in a new video Wednesday. The Senate Republican Communications Center points out in the video, which was provided exclusively to The Daily Caller, that Democratic filibusters on Trump nominees have forced a historic number of cloture votes in the Senate. The motion for cloture is a tool to limit debate on nominees, and is typically used to end a filibuster or other procedural techniques used by the opposition to delay or block a nominee. During his first two years in office, President Donald Trump’s judicial and executive nominees have faced 128 cloture votes. Comparatively, just 12 nominees faced cloture votes during President Barack scumbag/liar-nObama’s first two years. That means Trump’s nominees have faced more than 10 times the number of cloture votes than scumbag/liar-nObama’s nominees. “For the past two years, Senate Democrats have engaged in systematic, unprecedented obstruction by delaying qualified, uncontroversial nominees,” the video states...

Kasich adviser will lobby
against potential Russia sanctions
by Theodoric Meyer
politico.com } ~ John Weaver, the top strategist for John Kasich’s presidential campaign in 2016, has registered as a foreign agent and plans to lobby against potential sanctions on Russia... Weaver signed a contract last month to lobby on behalf of the Tenam Corporation, a subsidiary of Rosatom, the Russian state-owned nuclear energy company. Weaver will lobby Congress and the Trump administration on “sanctions or other restrictions in the area of atomic nuclear energy, trade or cooperation involving in any way the Russian Federation,” according to a disclosure filing. The six-month contract is worth $350,000, plus expenses, with an option to extend if necessary. “Time is of the essence in the Agreement,” the contract reads, according to a copy filed with the Justice Department. It’s not clear exactly what sanctions Weaver will be lobbying against. Sens. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) and Bob Menendez (D-N.J.) introduced legislation in February to beef up sanctions on Russia, which would curtail the amount of uranium that could be imported from Russia starting in 2021, among other provisions. The bill hasn’t made it out of committee...

Burkina Faso: The New Land of
Islamic Jihad and Christian Slaughter
by Raymond Ibrahim
gatestoneinstitute.org } ~ Last Sunday, May 12, in the small West African nation of Burkina Faso, as many as 30 armed Islamic terrorists  stormed a Catholic church, slaughtered at least six Christian worshippers — including the officiating priest... then burned the church to the ground. Ousmane Zongo, the mayor of Dablo, where the attack occurred, recalled the incident: "Towards 9:00am, during mass, armed individuals burst into the Catholic Church... They started firing as the congregation tried to flee.... They burned down the church, then shops and a small restaurant before going to the health center where they searched the premises and set fire to the head nurse's vehicle.... The city is filled with panic. People are holed up at home. Shops and stores are closed. It's practically a ghost town." Discussing the situation in the country — which is 60% Muslim, 23% Christian, and 17% animist or other — the BBC reports that "Jihadist violence has flared in Burkina Faso since 2016.... Fighters affiliated to al-Qaeda and the Islamic State group as well as the local Ansarul Islam [Champions of Islam] have been active in the region." Sadly, while a total of 12 Islamic terror attacks were registered in 2016, nearly 160 were reported in just the first five months of 2019. Last Sunday's assault is, in fact, the third church attack in only five weeks. On Sunday, April 28, in Silgadji, Islamic terrorists stormed a Protestant church near the end of the service and killed six Christian worshippers, including the pastor, 80-year-old Pierre Oult, and his two sons. According to a local Christian: "The assailants asked the Christians to convert to Islam, but the pastor and the others refused. They ordered them to gather under a tree and took their Bibles and mobile phones. Then they called them, one after the other, behind the church building where they shot them dead." On April 5, Islamic gunmen entered another Catholic church and murdered four Christians. The same report adds that "the fate of a Catholic priest kidnapped a month ago remains unclear."... What are the leaders of these towns I would have to guess they are Muslims and don't care.

Democrat-Run Cities Drown in Debt
Thomas Gallatin:  Truth in Accounting, an organization founded in 2002 “to educate and empower citizens with understandable, reliable, and transparent government financial information,” recently released its report on America’s 10 most populous cities and their corresponding taxpayer burdens. The report notes, “Collectively, taxpayers in these 10 cities face an average combined per-taxpayer burden of nearly $50,000, including county, state, and ‘off-balance-sheet’ city government entities. This compares to a per-taxpayer position of $19,000 for their city government alone.”

Topping the list of cities with the highest taxpayer burden is Chicago, coming in at a whopping $119,119 per taxpayer. New York City is a distant second at $85,600. The rest of the list is as follows:

  • Los Angeles: $56,390

  • Philadelphia: $50,120

  • San Jose: $43,120

  • San Diego: $35,410

  • Dallas: $33,490

  • Houston: $22,940

  • San Antonio: $16,660

  • Phoenix: $13,290

Much of this burden is due to unfunded retirement obligations that have accumulated over a number of years. In Chicago alone, it’s $39 billion in promised retirement benefits, including $28 billion in unfunded pensions, and $842.9 million in unfunded retiree health care benefits. Interestingly but not surprisingly, of these 10 cities only two — San Diego and San Antonio — are not currently run by Democrats. In fact, Chicago last had a Republican mayor way back in 1931. For Philadelphia, it was 1948. In other words, Democrats’ big-government polices are proving to be fiscally untenable and overly burdensome to taxpayers. And that’s to say nothing of the violence and cultural degradation in these urban poverty plantations.

Meanwhile, is it any wonder many people are fleeing these high-tax locales for lower-taxed, fiscally responsible states like Tennessee? In U.S. News & World Report’s  new rankings, Tennessee really is, as our Robin Smith wrote three years ago, the “model for America.” In fact, of the top 15 states in the rankings, 12 voted for Donald Trump in 2016. And the top three — Tennessee, Florida, and South Dakota — have no income tax. The general lesson is that spendthrift Democrats lead their cities and states into insurmountable debt, while low-tax Republicans tend to be more fiscally responsible.  ~The Patriot Post

YUP: President Trump Signs Great And Beautiful Trump Border Wall During Tour In San Diego

Embedded video

President Donald Trump visited the San Diego border on Wednesday to show off a newly constructed portion of the wall after a fundraising trip in California.

“It’s an amazing project,” Trump said, pointing to the 30-foot high barrier constructed with steel and concrete, noting that it also went six feet underground.

“If you think you’re going to cut it with a blow torch, that doesn’t work, because you hit the concrete, and then if you think you’re going to go through the concrete, that doesn’t work because we have very powerful rebar inside,” Trump said.

The president traveled via motorcade after a fundraiser to Otay Mesa, a community outside San Diego on the United States -Mexico border to review the latest constructed physical barrier.

He pointed out the new wall structure to the press, which was 24 miles of primary and secondary wall at the border.

“We have it covered underground, we have it covered overground,” Trump said.

The president was joined by acting Department of Homeland security Kevin McAllen and several other border security officials.

He said that over 44,000 bollard panels had been set up for the wall, which was then filled with concrete and rebar.

Trump admitted that he envisioned a solid concrete wall when he campaigned for president, but he was told by border officials that they preferred a wall constructed by concrete-filled bollards so they could see through it.

“It’s hardened concrete, very powerful concrete,” Trump said, pointing to the structure.

He added that the steel wall was designed to retain heat, making it harder to climb, plus having an anti-climbing system at the top.

“You can fry an egg on that wall,” he said. The president also acknowledged to reporters that he wanted the wall to be painted black and have spikes but said it was cheaper to let it remain naturally rust-colored.

“We can paint it later,” he said.

The president discussed his growing understanding of border barriers, noting that the Southern border would not need much more than 500 miles of wall to secure the border. He cited the existence of natural mountain and river barriers that prevented criminals from crossing. He did not rule out building additional barriers in the future but said it would depend on whether it was needed.

One border patrol agent spoke about the importance of the border wall to all of the agents, thanking the president for pushing forward on construction.

Trump said he met with Border Patrol prior to constructing the wall, picking the most effective structures to protect the border.

One border security official scoffed at the idea that the wall was a “vanity” project for the president.

“There’s a false narrative out there that this wall is the president’s vanity wall,” he said. “I’m here to tell you right now that that is false.”

He thanked Trump for listening to border patrol agents during the planning and construction process.

“You listened to the agents and you gave them exactly what they asked for,” he said.

One official with Trump confirmed that the structure was funded with regular Congressional appropriations in the FY 2017 and FY 2018 and that that the new wall replaced an inferior structure.

Trump said that he still considered the situation on the border a national emergency, but as more wall went up he could withdraw military forces.

“I hope you’re impressed,” he told reporters as he took questions about the project.

One worker told Trump of a tradition of workers signing the wall if they worked on the wall.

“I’ll sign it,” Trump said, and went to the wall and signed the steel barrier with a marker before encouraging other officials present to do the same.
