{cnsnews.com} ~ President Trump’s unannounced visit Wednesday to U.S. forces in Iraq brought a veiled threat from the leader of an Iranian-backed Shi’ite militia... remove the troops or face the type of bloodshed they confronted before their previous withdrawal, in 2011. Complaining that Trump’s visit to the Al Asad Airbase in Anbar province violated diplomatic norms, Asaib Ahl al-Haq (AAH) leader Qais al-Khazali said on Twitter the Iraqi parliament would respond by voting to expel the American troops stationed there. “And if they do not leave,” he added, “we have the experience and the ability to eject them by other means, familiar to your forces when they were humiliated in 2011.” AAH is one of two main IRGC Qods Force-backed Iraqi militias which U.S. military commanders accuses of responsibility for numerous deadly attacks on their forces during the Iraq war. As part of Operation Inherent Resolve (OIR), there are currently some 5,000 U.S. troops in Iraq, mostly involved in training national soldiers and police, now that the Sunni jihadists of ISIS have all but been defeated... Iran doesn't know who they are dealing with.

Save the Children, Build a Wall

{frontpagemag.com} ~ Since the Democrats went to war against what they called, “family separation”, two migrant children have died... They did not die, as the media would have you believe, because border security is cruel, but because encouraging migrants to cross the desert with their children, as the media has done, is evil. The outrage, the tears and fury over the policy of deterring illegal migrants from using children to force their way into this country was not compassionate. It did not help migrant children. It killed them. The 8-year-old boy from Guatemala and the 7-year-old girl from Guatemala, who died earlier this month, are the casualties of their false compassion for children. The media would have its viewers, readers and listeners believe that its outrage was meant to save children. It was not. It was meant to take their lives. The dead children are not the victims of an overworked Border Patrol that has been deliberately starved of the resources to do its job, because its job would limit the ability of Democrats to steal elections. They are the victims of abusive parents or caretakers, who are willing to use the lives of their children as tickets to get inside the United States, not to escape persecution, but to double or triple their incomes. The migrants are not refugees fleeing totalitarian regimes that are persecuting them for their beliefs. They are economic migrants who are willing to kill their children to earn more and get more free stuff. And they are every bit as guilty as the parents who leave their children to die in hot cars while they play slot machines. Any sane society would treat their murderous abuse of their children the same way. Unfortunately we are not a sane society...

If Dems keep rejecting Trump’s border-wall

compromise offers, they’ll own shutdown

{foxnews.com} ~ Despite President Trump’s own declaration early on that he’d be “proud” to shut down the government over funding the U.S.-Mexico border wall... the political loser could end up being the Democrats, Washington Post syndicated columnist Marc Thiessen argued on Wednesday's "Special Report" All-Star panel. It has almost been a week since the partial government shutdown began and it seems that neither the president nor congressional Democrats are backing down in this fight. The president told reporters Tuesday that he doesn’t know when the shutdown will end, saying the government won't be fully operating again “until we have a wall or fence --  whatever they’d like to call it.” The All-Star panel, which included Thiessen, Washington Post opinion writer Karen Tumulty, and RealClearPolitics co-founder and president Tom Bevan, weighed in on who the shutdown ultimately benefits. Thiessen told the panel that time was “on the president’s side” in his battle with Democrats, invoking remarks made by likely incoming House Speaker Nancy Pulosi, D-Calif., about how Trump’s wall was becoming a “beaded curtain” and a “sign that Democrats are not negotiating and that they’re not taking it seriously.” He compared that to federal Budget Director Mick Mulvaney’s recent counteroffer of a reported $2.1 billion for the wall instead of the $5 billion that was initially promised...

Palestinians: Silencing and Intimidating Critics

{gatestoneinstitute.org} ~ What does the Palestinian Islamist group Hamas do when it is not firing rockets at Israel or sending Palestinians to clash with Israeli soldiers along the border between the Gaza Strip and Israel?... It sends its security officers to arrest, interrogate, intimidate and harass anyone who dares to criticize Hamas. It is not as if anyone was expecting Hamas to act differently. The terms democracy and freedom of expression have never been in Hamas's dictionary. For Hamas, it is either you are with us or you are against us. There is no third option for Palestinians living under Hamas's rule in the Gaza Strip, even for those who were previously associated with Hamas, but later changed their minds and dared to express a different opinion or, worse, criticize the Islamist movement. In the past week alone, Hamas has arrested two Palestinian academics on suspicion that they voiced criticism of the group: professor of biology Salah Jadallah and writer Khader Mihjez. Jadallah was arrested earlier this week after he posted a comment on Facebook in which he accused the Hamas rulers of the Gaza Strip of enjoying a comfortable life while Palestinians were wallowing in poverty and misery. In the December 19 post, he wrote: "It's a life of hypocrisy, lies and quackery when an official lives in luxury while his people are overstrained and impoverished." He went on to accuse the Hamas officials of stealing funds earmarked for the people in order to build villas and mansions for themselves...

{frontpagemag.com} ~ “The ACLU is creating more national immigration policy than the federal government.” That was Sacramento County Sheriff Scott Jones back in 2015... after the American Civil Liberties Union sent letters to sheriff’s departments across the country explaining that immigration detainers are requests, not commands, and threatening legal action with those sheriffs who comply. Since more than 200 jurisdictions failed to honor all ICE detainers, Jones said, “we’ve become a de facto sanctuary state.” California is now an actual sanctuary state, and has made false-documented illegals, even violent criminals, a privileged, protected class. The ACLU still takes measures to ensure that no criminals ever get deported. Of the 1,303 immigrants at Sacramento County Sheriff’s Department facilities in 2017, 83 percent of those detainees were Hispanic. That year ICE conducted 51 interviews at county facilities, barely 2 percent of all law enforcement interviews that took place. Yet ACLU attorney Sean Riordan expressed concern about, “the experiences people have had in being transferred from sheriff’s custody to ICE custody.” The ACLU also strives to keep the U.S. border open for virtually anybody who wants to cross it, for any reason. Toxic Femininity and the #MeToo Mob: Weaponizing Emotional Distress

by Mark Alexander:   The manifestation of anger and hatred that defines toxic femininity is increasingly on shameful public display.  

             Did you noticed in the Supreme Court nominee hearings that some women harbor unresolved anger toward men?
               In 2017, the most angry of the lot emerged under the #MeToo identity-politics banner— with legitimate allegations of sexual misconduct in the workplace. Most notable were those that brought down Harvey Weinstein’s Hollywood empire and forced the resignations of Rep. John Conyers, Sen. Al Franken, New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman, and NBC’s Matt Lauer.
               Not coincidentally, each of these deviants belonged to or supported the party of unrepentant serial sexual assailant scumbag/liar-Bill Clinton and his chief defender and enabler scumbag/liar-Hillary Clinton.
               That feminist anger coalesced after the election of Donald Trump and metastasized with his nomination of now-Justice Brett Kavanaugh, thanks to a disgraceful character assassination charade scripted and calculated by Sens. Dianne Fein-stein and Chuck scumbag/clown-Schumer.
               As I have written previously, the Fein-stein/  scumbag/clown-Schumer strategy was to make Christine Ford, who alleged that Kavanaugh groped her 36 years ago, the poster proxy for every woman who has ever suffered any offending sexual encounter along a full spectrum — from romantic rejection, to a sense of being objectified, to sexual harassment, to regrets about encounters resulting from alcohol- or drug-impaired cognitive ability, to actual sexual assault. For some women who’ve been swept up into the #MeToo mob, Ford embodies their collective anger, grief, and desire for justice — despite the fact that her allegations were unsupported, unsubstantiated, uncorroborated, and utterly refuted by the alleged witnesses she named.
               To complete the political pretense, Fein-stein, et al., fraudulently framed Kavanaugh as the poster proxy for every male who has ever offended a woman.
               However, by politicizing this allegation to create a victimization collective in order to convert that constituency into midterm votes, Democrats have effectively devalued legitimate  assault claims...
