Much is being said in the media about how Mitt Romney is not "likable”, about how he doesn't "relate well" to everyday people.  A lot is being written about how his background makes it impossible for him to relate to middle class Americans.  After extensive, intensive, investigative research there is now a Top Ten List to explain Romney’s "unlike-ability."

1. He is drop-dead, ad-campaign ready handsome, with a statesmanlike aura.  He looks like every central casting's dream choice to be Commander-in-Chief.  After years of reality TV, America should know better than to trust good looking people who present themselves as competent and capable.  What would Snookie think?

2. He has been married to one woman throughout his entire adult life.  During that time he has remained faithful to her, including through her bouts with breast cancer and Multiple Sclerosis.  If only she had waited until her husband became a viable presidential candidate to be proud of her country the story would be complete.

3. There are no scandals or skeletons hidden in his closet.  Give George Soros, Media Matters, MoveOn.org, the DNC and the media time.  They will eventually invent a scandal about Romney not having a closet.

4. He does not speak in an obviously fake, southern "black preacher’s voice" when doing so is thought necessary to reach voters.  Perhaps after the election Hillary Clinton or Joe Biden will be available to give him pointers.

5. He is highly intelligent, having graduated cum laude from both Harvard Law School and Harvard Business School.  Oh, and his academic records are not sealed.  After he is elected he can seal his records by Executive Order on his first day in office.  Then will the media finally love him and hide, bury, or distract away from the story to protect him?

6. He does not smoke, does not drink alcohol, and has never done any drugs, not even during the 1960s counter-culture Age of Aquarius that was all the rage when he was in college.  If only he had dropped acid and rolled around in the mud at Woodstock having sex in public like a wild animal.

7. He represents America’s "yesteryear", when people believed in God, went to Church, didn't screw around on their wives, sacrificed, and worked hard to succeed.  Imagine what a media darling he could be, were he a latch key kid born to a single Welfare recipient mother who had been artificially inseminated, grew up on food stamps and as a teenager served time in prison for selling crack.  That would qualify him to be a cultural hero…or land him a hip-hop recording contract and MTV airtime.

He is a family man with five accomplished sons, none of whom have police records or needed to go to drug rehab.  Naturally, they were raised by a stay-at-home Mom.  How old fashioned.  Today that "choice" deserves America’s scorn.  If only Romney had set the right example the boys could have turned out more like Bernie Madoff or John Corzine.

9. Oh yes, he is Mormon.  Americans need to be especially fearful and contemptuous of a religion that teaches its members to live cleanly, be patriotic, to manage their lives in a fiscally conservative manner, to be charitable, self-reliant, and honest.  No wonder Mitt Romney never stood a chance at becoming a pop icon like Jim Morrison, Kurt Cobain or Michael Jackson.

10. One more very important point.  Pundits keep repeating the mantra that because of his personal wealth, he simply cannot relate to average, ordinary Americans.  It must be because he made that money himself instead of marrying it, inheriting it from Dad, winning the lottery or cashing in on a frivolous lawsuit by suing a big corporate conglomerate.

Mitt Romney's background, experience and trustworthiness demonstrate that he is a proven leader and a fine citizen who is qualified to become President of the United States.  America knows what his religion is, that he will not desecrate the flag, bow down to foreign powers, or redistribute taxpayer’s money to political cronies through fiscally irresponsible faux “stimulus” plans.

America will not like taking some of the steps necessary to recover from a mountain of debt, but someone with Romney's extensive business education, experience and background knows how to do it.

The democrats demands or tax return disclosure is a joke. Debbie Wasserman Schultz has already declared that Mitt Romney has paid 14% of his 20 million income.  That means that she has admitted that Romney has Paid 2 million 8 hundred thousand dollar in income taxes in one year while Harry Reid declares that he has info that Romney has not paid any income tax for 10 years.  Is Wasserman Shultz calling Reid a liar or is Reid calling Waserman Schultz a liar.  First their is no 14% tax bracket.  The tax brackets are 10, 15, 25,28, 33% and 35 %- The 35%  bracket is for all those with taxable incomes over $390,500.

There are 2 types of tax percentages the effective tax % of tax to adjusted gross income and the applied tax % of taxable income after adjustments, exemptions deductions and tax credits, all of which are specified in the tax code.

Since when is $2,800,000 not a fair share.  the vast majority of middle and low income taxpayers pay less than 12% of their AGI and the demo adds harp on the fact that Romney has paid 14% of his AGI.  What is a fair share?

Well the IRS releases statistics every year on the number of tax returns filed and the income tax generated from those returns. The latest statistics are for the year of 2009. These statistics show the number of returns filed as 104 million 164 thousand, 970  which generated taxes on 5 trillion,091 billion, 769 million,819 thousand of income and generated $953 billion, 411 million, 142 thousand of income tax revenues or a little under of $500 per return average. 

Remember all of the tax credits that the more affluent members of society enjoy have been put into place by a large percentage of those elite members of society, ie politicians.  So how much of the incentive to serve our country comes from love of country and how much from love of money especially for long term politicians.  The argument for term limits has been well established by the financial perks exclusively available to our long term elected officials including the disontinuance of the Social security payroll ax once their earnings from wages bonus's, etc exeed $110,000 per yr and their exorbitant political perks are not subjct at all.

As for foriegn income upon which foriegn income taxes are paid and then credited against US taxes generated,  while taxes paid to US states is only allowed as a deductable item reducing taxable ncome, this application is one of the incentives to take money out of the country.

Most of them in office now should be replaced and especially the ones that , by their votes, think that the constitution is not worth the effort should be sent back to private lives. If they';ve been in office for more than two terms, they need to leave!

The recent walkout of several democrat representatives when it came time to vote on the  A G's contempt of congress issue was depriving their constiuncies of the representation they were sworn to provide.  Their constituancy expected them to vote no on the vote, therefore their voice was not heard or recoded in the congressional record.  This seems to be a tactic of the democrats, if theY can't win , they pick up and go home, they don't realize that their constitutents protest has not been recorded.  They puled the same B S in Wisconsin. It is immaterial whether I would agree or not with my representsatives vote becaue if I disagree with the vote, I can always file a protest with the congressional office in my district.  Without a recorded vote, I am then denied of my right to protest.  I feel that this is an act pof malfeasment and should be rounds for impeachment or recall.  HOW ELSE CN MY VOICE BE HEARD?????

The Spirit Airline Boycotters Are The Real Thugs

All the judge had to hear in the Spirit Airlines vs. Vietnam veteran case was, well just that, dying Vietnam war veteran vs. Spirit Airlines tightfisted CEO Ben Baldanza. In fact these were the precise terms used by Foxnews reporter J. Miller. However the judge in this case ended up being thirty thousand Facebookers threatening a boycott against Spirit Airlines.

Jerry Meekins, a Vietnam vet and cancer patient was told by his doctor not to fly. Spirit Airlines is a no-frills airline and charges for 'every extra' in order to offer rock bottom prices. This is were the problem began. Spirit Airlines has a strict, well publicized no-refund policy and Jerry is a Vietnam vet with cancer. Seems like an open and shut case, Jerry wins.

I have nothing but respect and admiration for a man like Jerry Meekins. However if I had the chance to talk with him I would explain why I believe he has responsibility in this disagreement as well. Passengers flying Spirit Airlines are aware of their no-refund policy and accept the added risk in exchange for a rock bottom fare. Many of you are now calling me a heartless bastard only worried about the evil rich, tightfisted CEO. But wait a minute, aren't we now taking the exact same position as Nancy Pelosi and the libs? The same position we rail about everyday as conservatives.

But Ben and Jerry are not the only ones involved here, I'm involved too. I fly Spirit Airlines all the time and one of the very reasons I choose Spirit is because I don't value the extras the same as other airline passengers do. I prefer to pay as little as possible to get from point A to point B and then spend the savings on a nice dinner or a new Callaway driver. Until last week I thought my relationship with Ben was absolutely perfect. I would give him a small amount of money and he would fly me where I wanted to go. But that was before I was told that Ben and I were doing it all wrong.

Ben was offering a service that was below the acceptable minimums for air travel. Now wait, don't minimum levels of service only apply to health care. With Obamacare I'm not allowed to purchase a bare bones major-medical-only policy. You can't just have major medical, then go to Target and give the clerk nine dollars for contraceptives.

Now it seems I'm being told I can't purchase air travel a-la-carte either. Jerry told Foxnews he appreciated Ben's willingness to refund his ticket out of his own pocket and write a check for $5,000 to the Wounded Warriors Foundation. But “I just want them to agree to take each case and review it, because there are others in my situation and they deserve to be heard”.

I have to disagree with Jerry here. This is exactly what Ben is trying to avoid at any cost. He can't determine whether a stay-at-home-mom deserves a refund but a single-mom-lawyer does not, without it affecting ticket prices. Ben also made the point that Spirit is often the only airline many passengers can afford to fly.

This story hit a nerve with me because the left's reflex is always to condemn the evil CEO. This time it seemed people on my side of the political divide had the same reflex.

Here is my story.  When Heard President Obama state that we were no longer a Judeo Christian Nation...I woke up.

1.  I did my homework through Wallbuilders and The American Heritage Series.  Then I completed two online courses through halearn.com/Heritage Academy/American Constitution and Government Part I and Part II.

2.   I put my papers into a book and was able to get it published through Authorhouse.com.  Dr. W. Cleon Skousen published The Five Thousand Year Leap:  A Miracle That Changed The World.  His book is easy to read and brought the confusion of politics into clear focusw.  Dr Skousen said many times that the Founder's success formula would solve nearly every problem we have in America today.  Really?  Can any knowledge be more helpful to the rising generation of Leaders in America?  The purpose of my book, The Writings of an American Mother in 2010:  Principles of the Founding Fathers and Current Issues...planting the seeds of Leadership is to encourage people to review our past, our history as a country, the 28 Principles of our Founding Fathers and how they relate to current issues...then develop your own viewpoint through critical thinking and doing your own homework...becoming an Active American Citizen!

While Vermont may be stirring the waves with its march towards universal health care, and marching to its own drummer by expanding collective bargaining rights in the state, its most pressing and immediate issue is one that should rally tea party folks from across the nation to come to its aid.

I'm not talking about the Dick “never met a prostitute's toe I didn't want to suck” Morris' Tea Party, which is simply an attempt to co-opt the movement for the Republican establishment, or the “official” Tea Party, which is more interested in suing to protect its name brand and selling ads disguised as policy statements than it is in actually doing something constructive. No, I'm talking about Americans who are simply mad as hell and are not going to take it anymore. Americans who have had their fill of federal government overreaching and stepping on states' rights. Americans who are tired of seeing powerful corporations raiding the U.S. Treasury for taxpayer dollars in order to cover for their failed business plans. I'm talking about people who are well represented by their local and even state representatives, but discover that that representation is only something to be trampled by corporate lawyers and the federal judiciary.

In short, I'm talking about Americans who recognize that Entergy Nuclear of Louisiana's bid to usurp Vermont state authority in order to shove twenty more years of the leaky Vermont Yankee nuclear reactor down our throats against our will is not only a moral outrage, but is also a key threat to aspects of the Republic as outlined in the Constitution.

The tenth amendment reads as follows: “The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the states, are reserved to the States respectively or to the people.”

Entergy Nuclear wants the federal courts to take away Vermont's right to regulate affairs within its borders. For the sake of promoting profits, Entergy wants the federal government to trample Vermont's right to determine the policies that its citizens demand and deserve. It wants the feds to say that we have no voice in determining our own future. If there ever was an issue that brings together a host of important questions that should galvanize citizen action, this is it. Vermonters are calling on citizens from across the country to join us next March, when we will close down the reactor if the feds and Entergy Corporation are still colluding to keep it open. Vermont Yankee was licensed to run for 40 years. That license runs out on March 21, 2012. Entergy, in spite of lying about the existence of underground pipes that leaked large amounts of tritium, along with cesium and other dangerous elements, wants to run the plant for another 20 years. Vermont said no. We said it in town meetings, not town meetings where people simply get a chance to let off steam, but actual legal town meetings where the official business of our towns is decided for the year (one of the last vestiges of true democracy still extant in our nation). We said no in the legislature where, by over a four to one margin, the state Senate voted no to continuing VY operations past 2012. And we said no last November in a clearly defined gubernatorial election when we voted in the governor who campaigned emphatically to make VY close on time.

What part of NO do these people not understand? The part that interferes with their profits. The part of NO that they have not yet experienced is the NO that they will discover on March 21 next spring, when thousands of us will be clogging the streets and fields surrounding their leaky reactor, making operation impossible and forcing them to shut down simply to be able to maintain public order. This is an opportunity for all Americans to say that we have had enough. We have had enough of corporate welfare, enough of federal government over-reach, and enough of having our democracy crushed by powerful monied interests. Vermonters are now calling on the nation to join us in this definitive fight that will stop the erosion of our rights. Help us rebalance the lopsided power that has been concentrated in the hands of the establishment elite. Help us defend the Constitution. Vermont is a state where community and citizenship are still valued and practiced. Join us and become part of a movement that brings our nation back to its democratic roots. Ask yourselves one question: who could you expect to represent your aspirations and interests more, citizens using the democratic process to control their lives, or profit greedy corporations and their political lapdogs trying to promote an industry that the free market has abandoned.

Why do Conservatives not articulate that "Obama Wants to Collapse the Economy"? Why will no one articulate what will happens if the economy collapses? As we approach the collapse of the economy, no one and I mean no one articulates what wil happen to every day Americans not if, but "when" the economy collapses. If the economy collapses and every indiactor says itr will for sure. There is no doubt about it. It is coming at us like a freight train. When the economy collapses, the bank will all of a sudden have no money. Banks will close. Business and Companies therefore will not be able to not only operate their business but will not be able to pay employees. Stores will close. No groceries. Electric utilites shut down, Cell Phones won't work. No electric. No Water. No sewage. Everything "Locks Up". It is assumed there will be riots. People will be fighting one another for basic commodities. Obama wants to collapse the economy so he and George Soros can wipe out the constitution. Trade in different currency. This wil bring heartache, pain, and misery like America has nevr seen before.
Obama and Dems are now, as I type this, trying to spend as much as they can so the economy will melt down so Americans will be begging Obama and Soros to rescue them. this is what they want. Please discuss this. Please pass this on in your own words.

On several occasions I've had the opportunity to listen to interviews with Donald trump and I liked what he said, not to mention the way he said it.  In June he will make his decision with regards to placing his bid for The Presidency.  In my opinion, he's the only choice for America and the American people.  He's the one person who can bring America back to the greatness it once was.  He's the one person who can bring an end to the corruption in government, something plaguing our nation for decades and presently devastating our American way of life.

We drastically need change.  Our present administration and following Democratic Congress are our destruction on the horizon, and if we don't think smart and challenge their decisions, we are going to fall and when we land, it won't be softly.  

In closing, I hope Donald Trump enters the race.  I believe him to be the right choice for America and the American people and as always, "God Bless America".
