Mentally Ill Man Kicked Out of Uvalde, Texas Press Conference A mentally ill man was at a press conference in Uvalde, Tx. between Gov. Abbott, Lt. Gov. Patrick, Sen. Cruz and the Mayor of Uvalde and city and state officials. They met with grieving parents, friends and grieving citizens of Uvalde. The meeting was to comfort, heal and help this community try to move on and allocate state resources to help individuals and and first responders and getting counselling to all who need it. The mentally ill man known as Beto O' Rourke disrupted the conference after Abbott spoke and before Patrick placing blame for the school shooting solely on Abbott, Patrick, Cruz and others in the room.
