     Gun Appreciation Day - stand and support American's

               U.S. Constitutional right to bear arms

Gun Appreciation Day is not just a time to celebrate the right to bear arms, but it is a time to acknowledge the precious gift that no other nation on earth possesses. This is the gift for every man and woman in this nation to stand toe to toe with an oppressor either foreign or domestic; and announce, “As for me and my family my right to bear arms will not be abridged nor shall it be stolen!”

This day is your way of demonstrating that constitutional gun rights do matter. This is your opportunity to stand up and acknowledge that a nation that fought a War of Independence to be free from tyranny of an imperial elite will not bow on bended knee to a 21st century version of that now residing in the White House. January 19th is the nation’s day to go to your local gun range, gun store or gun show and bring your American Flag and a ‘Hands off my Guns’ sign to show your support!

In fact, according to a national Fox News poll released Friday, January 18th, 71 percent do not think tougher laws can stop shootings like the mass killings that occurred in Newtown, Connecticut in December. “Nearly twice as many voters say there would be less violent crime if more law-abiding Americans owned guns, than if guns were banned.”

On the other hand, liberal gun control organizations have launched advertising campaign to scare parents in homes across America into accepting the tepid rationale of President Obama’s official response to the Sandy Hook Elementary School massacre. Obama wants to disarm America be frightening America with edicts that do not address the reason for the mass killings.

No parent in America wants to be on the receiving end of a call from a school or receive a knock on the door from a police officer about fatal shootings at their child’s school. Yet, in the post Sandy Hook Elementary school shootings era, gun control alarmists have ratcheted up their threats on gun rights, by using the main stream media. The words of these media talking heads has been vitriolic and poison the airwaves that permeate American homes daily with lies.

Gun control measures are not new and one of the most infamous examples where this has been used as a precursor to attacking its own citizens was done by Adolph Hitler and his Nazi government, five years after being in power. Sound familiar.

In 1938, the Nazi Party enhanced the Weapons Law and enacted handgun control. Firearms ownership was restricted to Nazi party members and other "reliable" people. Later that year, the government barred all Jews from owning any weapons or seeking weapons from businesses that sold them.

Vice President Biden prepares to submit presidential  task force strict gun control measures to Obama

There is a sickening aroma in the air that is beginning to permeate the very soul of independent freedom embracing Americans. It began to originate long before the shooting at Aurora, Colorado, or recently in Newtown, Connecticut. Its rancid fragrance seeps into the fabric of the U.S. Constitution and is emitted by the control terrorists who manipulate the facts and perceptions of Americans who watch the news. These purveyors of stricter gun control measures seek to erode your defenses so that in your weakened state you will accept their sweet smelling tyranny.

The nation that was represented as a symbolic shining city on a hill that President Ronald Reagan spoke about over 30 years ago is now becoming a broken mud hole of shattered dreams. America’s morning that has dawned over the nation is now bearing witness to the shredding of constitutional protections which have safe guarded families since the infancy of the republic. Obama has given the order to Vice President Biden: full steam ahead to obliterate gun rights in your town. You and your family are the targets and what will you do?

The reaction by gun owners and even prospective gun owners to Obama’s desperate executive order zeal is to hurry up and buy up all the potential guns and now legal weapons. The worry is that these legal weapons might be taken by edict or by force by the government. That may be a logical solution, but it is only a temporary one.

Once Obama’s federal government has quenched its thirst on stripping away gun rights, it will not hesitate to take the next step to criminalize actual possession of legally held banned weapons!

Then what will you do?

What is the response to a government that embraces tyrannical rule over the constitutional guarantees and protections contained within the U.S. Constitution?

What are you, the father, the mother, the son or the daughter prepared to do when, the government official, acting on direct orders from a new commission set up by President Obama to confiscate your guns, comes to your home’s door?

Where are the defenders of the U.S. Constitution who are elected in Congress? Are you absolutely certain they will not give in, and knuckle under Obama’s determination which is aided by the mainstream media talking heads?

Remember these are the same talking heads that avoided Obama’s dismissive behavior in not enforcing congressional legislation. This is the same mainstream media that buried the White House Benghazi murder cover up as if it never happened. Think about your choices when seeking to rely upon the once independent fourth estate, which has been rendered a useless patsy for the Obama administration.

Do you really believe that once your guns are banned, and the weapons that were grandfathered in and off limits from government seizure, will not be taken in the second round of gun control legislation?

California Democrat Dianne Feinstein will introduce legislation in January calling for the fingerprinting and registering of all gun owners in the United States.

On her Senate web page, Feinstein states her proposed legislation will add fingerprinting and photo identification to the National Firearms Act.

A firearms seller must currently submit Form 4473 to the government containing the name, address, driver license information, NICS background check transaction number, serial number and model of the firearm, and a short federal affidavit stating that the purchaser is eligible to purchase firearms under federal law. Feinstein’s bill will add a substantial layer of bureaucracy to the existing regulations.

The effort to expand firearms registration will include weapons grandfathered prior to the enactment of Feinstein’s proposed legislation. In other words, all gun owners will be required to register their constitutionally guaranteed firearms with a federal government inimical to the Second Amendment.

Feinstein’s registration process will likely surpass New York City’s handgun permit process, which is a bureaucratic nightmare. In addition to non-refundable fees totaling over $500, the permit process demands two recent color photos, a birth certificate, proof of citizenship and residence, a blizzard of affidavits, and other red-tape hurdles. Applications are routinely denied for spurious reasons, including non-violent misdemeanors and depression.

As Dean Weingarten notes, gun registration is de facto gun confiscation. Following mandatory gun registration, the government “will know who has legal possession of each firearm. They will know where the firearm is stored. When physical possession of the gun is desired, they can order you to turn it in. This has happened repeatedly,” most notably in Nazi Germany, Red China and Soviet Russia.

More recently, it has occurred in Kosovo, Great Britain, Australia, New York, and California. If Feinstein has her way next month, it will happen across America.

Democrats and their Republican co-conspirators are going all out to ban firearms. Feinstein’s bill will ban the sale, transfer, importation, and manufacturing of 120 specifically-named firearms, including semiautomatic rifles, handguns, and shotguns that can accept detachable and fixed magazines and have “one military characteristic.”

In addition, Feinstein’s bill will outlaw flash suppressors, bayonet mounts, thumbhole stocks and bullet buttons on firearms.

Make no mistake about it. Obama and his anti-Second Amendment allies in Congress are coming for your guns. If they have their way, the only legal firearms in America will be rifles with 10 round magazines and single shot and bolt-action rifles – and those firearms will be registered with the government and may be confiscated at any moment.

I recently sent this link out to a number of friends.   

 I know some of them are very conservative, some are liberal, some are military, some are teachers and college professors.  I expected to hear the whole gamut of comments.  One of the most disturbing is from, an otherwise intelligent, retired college professor, a PhD.    

Below is what he said, and my reply.  What do you think?  We had all better prepare ourselves for these conversations.  Our politicians can't agree to fix the tax code, cut spending, or balance a budget; but they rammed through Obamacare and they are building support to ram through their unconstitutional restrictions on gun ownership.

When President Obama decided to announce in May his embrace of gay marriage he opened the gate for his political sideline gay supporters and liberal like-minded non-profit funders to weed out organizations that support traditional family values. They zeroed their targets on the Boy Scouts, because of its refusal to cave in to the demands of liberals and gay activists to change their traditional values and biblically-based beliefs.

This was not unique for the organization to stand firm on its 100 plus year-old legacy. In fact it took a June 28th, 2000 "Boy Scouts of America et al. v. Dale" decision from the U.S. Supreme Court to uphold the Boy Scouts of America’s right of freedom of association . The decision sanctioned the group’s right to set its own standards for both membership as well as leadership.

But with a wink and a nod from President Obama’s embrace of gay marriage in May of this year, the liberal gay activists were emboldened to decimate the Boy Scouts’ legal Supreme Court constitutionally supported rights. They moved with all deliberate speed to defund organizations, and set their eyes on Cleveland, Ohio’s 100 year old plus organization.

On Tuesday, September 25th, the United Way of Greater Cleveland notified the Greater Cleveland Council of the Boy Scouts of America (GCC) that their $97,251 funding was going to be stripped. This vindictive action would affect 16,000 youth that are served in Cuyahoga and Summit Counties in the Cleveland area, according to the GCC.

Not only that, but, this defunding would critically and adversely, affect the lives of 1,500 at risk low income children in the City of Cleveland, admitted Boy Scout program aide Wardell Cooper, to WKYC-TV News, on Tuesday, September 25th. Cooper, himself, has increased Boy Scout participation in his area of Cleveland from 9 scouts to dozens. That translates into dozens of kids with new hope, who are off of the street and involved in constructive community activities.

The overriding mandated objective of the gay rights agenda is crystal clear to parents of boy scouts and to their supporters. To receive funding, the organization must both abandon their moral principles and adopt the new liberal order or the funder will decimate the children’s future… constitution or no constitution. So there you have it, As of June 30th, 2013, the United Way of Greater Cleveland will eliminate and potentially decimate the opportunity of children, and especially those in many Cleveland urban neighborhoods.

Where are the civil rights advocates from the churches and from the neighborhoods and from the state or the nation who will fight for the children who were engaged in decent law abiding activities? Certainly no support will be forthcoming from the NAACP.

The NAACP has already been bought and sold and peddled their credibility down the river. This summer the organization’s 64-member board adopted a resolution to support gay marriage and tie it to rights guaranteed blacks by the 14th Amendment. So as one can see, the children do not have an advocate in an organization that has sold the children’s future out for 30 pieces of silver from Obama and his gay rights supporters.

But this is the time for parents and advocates of constitutionally protected freedom of association to stand firm! They have to support not only these young boy scouts, but all children who are being forced

Despite recognition by virtually everyone but the Oval Office that the White House trumpeted anti-Islamist video trailer has next to nothing to do with violence in the Middle East, and that it is simply a re-election distraction ploy that deflects blame from Obama’s failed foreign policy; in his speech to the United Nations General Assembly Barack Obama continued to blame the video for Mid-East riots and violent demonstrations.

Obama used that narrative as the backdrop for saying there is "No speech that justifies mindless violence.  There are no words that excuse the killing of innocents" and "No video that justifies an attack on an embassy".  Obama also said that the video "is an insult not only to Muslims, but to America as well."

How is the exercise of free speech by an American an insult to America?  Is Obama ever going to make a similar statement about artists who dip Crucifixes in urine?

Obama also said “I know that not all countries in this body share this particular understanding of the protection of free speech. We recognize that.”

So Obama recognizes that UN member states do not share American views on the protection of free speech by the U.S. Constitution.

What is Obama doing about it?  Recognizing that Islamists will continue to launch military assaults upon American embassies and consulates around the world while he continues to lay the blame at the feet of Americans exercising their right to free speech?

GOP presidential nominee Mitt Romney, giving an address before the Clinton Global Initiative's annual conference, made the case for the inherent strength and endurance of the private sector and the dignity derived by individuals reaping the rewards of their own labor.

"That must be at the heart of our effort to help people build economies that can create jobs for people, young and old alike. Work builds self-esteem. It transforms minds from fantasy and fanaticism to reality and grounding.  Work will not long tolerate corruption nor quietly endure the brazen theft by government of the product of hardworking men and women."

Romney said if he wins the White House, he will "remind the world of the goodness and bigness of the American heart.  I will never apologize for America. I believe that America has been one of the greatest forces for good the world has ever known.  We can hold that knowledge in our hearts with humility and unwavering conviction."

Two candidates for one high office offer distinctly differing world views.

Obama’s view is to preach moral equivalence while shrinking from defense of the U.S. Constitution and the God given rights it protects for all Americans.

Romney’s is to stand up for America and its economic system while celebrating the prosperity and good America has both created and symbolized for over two centuries.

Does the distinction need to be drawn more clearly?

You will not find the phrase, the separation of church and state in the U.S. Constitution. What you will find is the 1^st Amendment to the U.S. Constitution which states, “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof.”  The phrase ‘the separation of church and state’ which was actually ‘wall of separation between the church and the state’ was written in a letter by Thomas Jefferson to the Danbury Baptists on January 1, 1802. In 1892, the Supreme Court unanimously declared that America was “legally and organically a Christian nation.” But is that really the truth? What was the U.S. Supreme Court actually talking about regarding the decision in Church of the Holy Trinity vs. United States? Was this really about Christianity or was it about something else? We see in the U.S. Capitol building the words above the Speaker of the House, “In God We Trust” and you will see there are carvings of Moses and the Ten Commandments (which is a reference to Mosaic Law) on the Supreme Court building and in various other locations throughout the nation and government buildings. But as a nation do we actually follow these tenets or is there a totally different meaning behind all of this, such as Catholicism? Let’s take a closer look at the symbolism and the actions here in the United States and see what we uncover; Christianity or something else.

There have been court battles over the Pledge of Allegiance because of the words which were added, due to the perceived threat of Communism, in 1954 after ‘one nation’ which are ‘under God’ and there are municipalities which ban nativity scenes because they depict the birth of the Messiah as well as school prayer. But there are plenty of pagan symbols in the United States on government and/or public property and many people really don’t seem to say anything even care and these symbols do appear to be sanctioned by the U.S. government. Is this because of the beliefs of the so-called ruling elite, the people or both? Ellis Island is a good example of what I am talking about. It is managed by the U.S. National Park Service and owned by the States of New York and New Jersey; it is clearly government and public property. Yes, I am referring to the Statue of Liberty. Is the Statue of Liberty a pagan idol?

Who is Lady Liberty? While we know she was a gift from the French which was completed in July of 1884, she arrived in New York harbor in June of 1885, the dedication ceremony took place October 28, 1886 and the sculptor was Frederic Auguste Bartholdi. According to William F. Dankenbring, he originally “was seeking a commission to construct a giant statue of the goddess “Isis,” the Egyptian Queen of Heaven, to overlook the Suez Canal.” He may have got his wish, just not in the location which he originally intended. Many believe, she (Lady Liberty) is the representation of the pagan goddess Queen Semiramis the Goddess of Lust and Sexual Desire, the mother-wife of Nimrod (the reincarnated Sun God) and the mother of Tammuz (the reincarnation of Nimrod as well as the Moon God); she’s also known as Isis (Egyptian), Mother of God, Oaster (Easter-Eastern-Star), Ishtar (Babylonian), Astarte (Syrian), Cybele (Roman), Ashtoreth (Israel), Goddess of Love, Aphrodite (Ephesus), Helena (Greek), Lady of the Towers (Sumerian), Wife and Sister of Kronos, Sammurant (Assyrian), Ish-Tara (the Indian deity), Sami-Rama-isi (Vedic) and Mother Mary (Rome) just to name a few, according to Ms. Lynda Brasier of Mission-Ignition.        

The symbolism of the statue is apparent and unmistakable; the turreted crown or crown of towers which symbolize the rays of the sun on her head to show “sun worship.” The torch she is holding is not “of liberty, but of the illuminated ones, the ruling elite.” And the “gown folds around her like a classical Greek toga.” The “helmet of sunray spikes” is an “allusion to the headgear of the Colossus of Rhodes, a monument to the Sun-God Helios standing astride a Greek harbor, which is said to be one of the key influences on the New York statue,” according to Ms. Brasier, and she further states, “She stands on a base patterned after Babylonian Step pyramids (ziggurats)…designed after the ‘Tower of Babel.’”

So it would appear that the Statue of Liberty is a pagan religious symbol which is sanctioned by the U.S. government. Fortunately, it’s not a nativity scene or it wouldn’t be allowed. But the true question is why is it allowed? Perhaps it is because of the Masonic influence within the U.S. government, or maybe the real reason is religious in nature, specifically Catholicism. We should take a look at some of the leaders of the United States and see what unfolds.

While it is not an unusual phenomenon for U.S. leaders to visit the Pope, it is also not unusual for other world leaders to visit with the Pope. President’s George H.W. Bush, Bill Clinton, George W. Bush, Hussein Obama, as well as many first ladies visited the Pope. Secretary of State Rice and Representative Pelosi have also been with the Pope. Of course Nancy Pelosi is the only U.S. leader I could find a photo of who is kissing the Pope’s ring, but I’m sure there are others. Perhaps she is a servant of the Pope, I don’t know. But keep in mind the list of visitors is endless, even Adolf Hitler and Yasser Arafat have been photographed with the Pope. Maybe this has something to do with Catholicism, but it does have something to do with worship in general. The UK Telegraph reported on 1 August 2012 that President G.W. Bush “May follow in Tony Blair’s footsteps and convert to Catholicism.” The report further stated, “Jeb Bush, the president’s brother, has already converted to Catholicism.” While this really doesn’t concern me, nor do I (or should I) really care, I do find this to be very interesting. What is Catholicism? And just what is its appeal? According to the Online Etymology Dictionary, catholic is defined, “Of the doctrines of the ancient church,” literally “universally accepted,” from FR. catholique, from L.L. catholicus “universal, general,” from Gk. katholikos, from the phrase kath’ holou “on the whole, in general.” General sense of “of interest to all, universal.” Wikipedia defines the word catholic, “Derived from Late Latin catholicus, from the Greek adjective katholikos, meaning “universal.”” So, Catholicism is Universalism by definition. Merriam-Webster’s Dictionary defines Universalism as, “A theological doctrine that all human beings will eventually be saved.” So it appears that some certainly believe it is good news to know Adolf Hitler, Emperor Nero, Judas Iscariot and Osama bin Laden and their ilk will eventually be saved, at least according to Catholicism.

What is the Trinity? According to Catholic Answers, “The parallelism of the Father, the Son, and the Spirit is not unique to Matthew’s Gospel, but appears elsewhere in the New Testament…that the Father, the Son, and the Spirit are three divine persons who are one divine being (God).” Parallelism is an interesting term which they use for this idea of the Trinity. I have heard it before and not just from the Catholic Church; there was the supposed Babylonian Trinity of Nimrod, Semiramis and Tammuz as well as so-called the Egyptian Trinity of Osiris, Isis and Horace, the Israeli paganist Trinity of Kether, Hokhmah and Binah, the Greek triad of Zeus, Athena and Apollo and the Romans had Jupiter, Mercury and Venus. That’s quite a number of Trinities, Triads and Triunes! So within Catholicism, the Trinity is the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit are three separate individuals, but one single being which rule as one. If we take a look at the King James Version of the Bible, 1611, and go to Exodus 20:1-17 we find the 10 Commandments, “And God spake all these words, saying, I am the Lord thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage: Thou shalt have no other Gods before me.” In the book of Deuteronomy 5:1-21, we also find the 10 Commandments, “I am the Lord thy God, which brought thee out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage. Thou shalt have none other gods before me.” Just for reference, that is the 1^st Commandment. It certainly sounds like God is an individual; His Son Jesus is an individual. As for the Holy Spirit, I have not been able to find anywhere in the Bible where it states the Holy Spirit is a separate (3^rd) individual, however it does describe God as the Holy Spirit.

What are the origins of the Catholic Church? According to Sword of the Spirit, Simon Magus was the founder of the Roman Catholic Church. “The great false church system of Rome had its beginning in the day of the Apostles of Christ…mixed into one religious system. This is why there are so many pagan ideas and doctrines in the Roman Catholic Church.” Simon Magus is first heard of in Acts 8:9-25, “But there was a certain man, called Simon, which beforetime in the same city used Sorcery, and bewitched the people of Samaria, giving out that himself was some great one: To whom they all gave heed, from the least to the greatest, saying, This man is the great power of God. And to him they had regard, because that of long time he had bewitched them with sorceries.” Again, according to Sword of the Spirit, “The person that is mentioned and that we need to concentrate on is Simon Magus and how he transformed himself into the first leader of the false worldwide religious system, the Catholic Church.” The makeup of this church is further delineated, “The four beasts used to make up the beast are the same four beasts Daniel saw in a vision in Daniel 7…papal Rome inherited from each of these pagan empires…that we see practiced in this modern day false system of religion, the Roman Catholic Church.” Then this is explained even further, “From Babylon, the lion the papacy inherited a pagan priesthood; from Medo-Persia, the bear sun worship; from Greece, the leopard human philosophies; and from the dragon, Pagan Rome, its power, seat and great authority. As stated in Rev. 13:2 the mixing of these pagan ideas of the Roman Catholic Church had its onset from the very beginning… can be traced back to…Simon Magus.” And the Sword of the Spirit makes their position perfectly clear, “Yes, the correct meaning of the Catholic Church is the Universal Church.” If this is correct, Simon Magus, who was a sorcerer and a magician, founded what is known as the Roman Catholic Church and this church is a very old mixture of belief systems which are known today as Catholicism or Universalism. These different belief systems were pagan in origin from the region known as Samaria and this mixture brought about a false religious system, which in turn has become a worldwide system of religious belief. This system is said to be from the Babylonians, Medo-Persia (which is defined as the Achaemenid Empire ca. 550-330 BCE and founded by Cyrus the Great and also known as the First Persian Empire), Greece and Pagan Rome. I must admit, that’s quite a mixture!

All this makes me wonder about Easter Sunday. What is it and what is it about? According to therefinersfire.org, “The Nicaean Council of 325 A.D. decreed that “Easter” should be celebrated on the first Sunday, after the full moon, on or after the vernal equinox.” So what is Easter? “Easter is a completely man-made “holy-day”…It is the day that Tammuz was immaculately conceived by the rays of the sun-god Nimrod and the day that Tammuz’ mother, the “Queen of Heaven,” was fabled to have returned to earth from heaven as the goddess of fertility, who purportedly transformed a bird into an egg-laying rabbit to prove her divinity.” One ritual according to thinknot.net is, “At Babel…Every year the priest of Easter would impregnate virgins on the altar of Easter. The next year those infants would be 3 months old. They would kill infants and dye eggs in their blood.” Another ritual is people “Stand there with rapt faces adoring the sun as it rises in the east, not realizing they are performing the rituals demanded by the mythical and idolatrous goddess Ishtar (Easter). Deceived into believing this is Christian, millions practice the identical form of the ancient sun-worship of the Sun-god Baal!” As stated by refinersfire.org. I suppose this is where we actually get the word Sunday, for the sun-worshippers who dislike the Sabbath which is Friday at even (sunset) to Saturday at even (sunset) according to Jewish tradition, and it also seems blatantly obvious that Easter was simply a way to get rid of Passover by the “Church Leaders such as Constantine, Tertullian and Marcion.” This is some very interesting perspective by therefinersfire.org, and it continues, “The truth is that Easter has nothing whatsoever to do with the resurrection of Messiah Yeshua! God’s commanded Biblical Feasts reveal that Yeshua was born during the Feast of Sukkot (Tabernacles) which falls on the Gregorian calendar September/ October timeframe. He was nailed to the stake on 14 Nisan and was REMOVED before sunset that same day; and He rose exactly 72 hours later, just before sunset on the following Sabbath-NOT on a “Sunday.” That’s actually very fascinating don’t you think? And it sounds accurate, because from Good Friday to Easter Sunday, which are both based on Canonical gospels which have been recognized by the Catholic Church since the turn of the 5^th century, is only two days and not three days and three nights!

So I have to ask, why is Christmas celebrated? It is claimed by multitudes that the day the Messiah was born on the 25^th of December, is that correct? If the refinersfire.org is correct, then it seems more likely than not that Yeshua (Jesus) was conceived during Hanukkah, the Festival of Light, and born at the Feast of Tabernacles and was murdered and resurrected during Passover. Just what is so important to the Catholic Church with regard to December 25^th? If the Messiah wasn’t born on December 25^th, then we have to assume something is important to the Catholic Church with regard to that date. As previously stated by many people, the Catholic Church is pagan in its origin and practice. December is the month of the winter solstice; the shortest day of the year and it’s when the days start to get longer and pagans worship the sun. Was the birthday of Tammuz for the second generation of false gods? According to Real Israelites, “The so-called “Christmas tree” has its origin in the ‘Babylonian mysteries;’ it was used as a symbol to personify Tammuz…The Christmas tree or Tammuz tree represents Nimrod redivivus-the slain god revived and worshipped as Tammuz. Semiramis taught the Babylonians that their gods could transform themselves into trees and if gifts were not presented before these trees the spirit of Nimrod would revive and destroy them!” As the story goes, Shem killed Nimrod and dismembered him and spread the parts (or pieces) throughout the Samarian kingdom, as was the custom at the time. Semiramis had all the parts brought back for burial, but the only piece that wasn’t found was Nimrod’s penis and it appears this is a representation of the Christmas tree. So Nimrod’s penis represents the idol of jealousy! And they are all over the world; they are called obelisks.

It certainly would appear Catholicism is closely associated with the worship of sun-gods and they were all born on December 25^th; Nimrod, Mithra, Dagon, Osiris, Horace, Baal, Kronos, Zeus, Jupiter, Saturn, Mercury, Mars, Pluto, Neptune, Ares, Bacchus, Shamash, Odin, EL-BAR, Molech, Ra and Tammuz, just to name a few as stated by xanga.com. And if you ever wondered why Christmas is sometimes referred to as X-mas, the answer is quite simple according to theforbiddenknowledge.com; “The legendary symbol for Nimrod is “X.” The use of this symbol always denotes witchcraft. When “X” is used as a shortened form meaning Christmas, it actually means “to celebrate the feast of Nimrod.” A double X, which has always meant to double-cross or betray, in its fundamental meaning indicates one’s betrayal into the hands of Satan. When American corporations use the “X” in their logo, such as “Exxon,” the historic Rockefeller firm of Standard Oil of New Jersey, there can be little doubt of this hidden meaning.” This comes as no surprise to me, as the Rockefellers are one of the family bloodlines of the Illuminati, “One of the 13 Satanic bloodlines that rule the world…the Illuminati…the Rockefeller bloodline is involved in the promotion of the occult and Satanism…they are involved in the control of Christian denominations.” Of course, if this is true, then should we wonder about any information we get from xanga.com? After all, the name does use the “X” of Nimrod, or does it?

So what does all of this tell us about our country and our leaders? A majority of the people around the globe have such a low opinion of the United States because of our so-called leadership it isn’t even funny. And why should, We the People, put up with this sort of behavior if any of this is the truth? Of course that just leads to the question, is it even possible to believe what a politician says? Anyone will tell you the obvious answer to that question is no or laugh derisively while they say yes. U.S. currency has pagan symbols, the U.S. Capitol building has pagan symbols, most memorials and buildings like the White House and the Supreme Court buildings appear to be modeled after ancient pagan societies, statues of pagan gods stand at the U.S. Capitol building, Easter egg hunts on the White House lawn, Christmas trees in the White House, as well as pagan obelisks in honor of Nimrod are in our nation’s capitol. On top of that, the U.S. government seems intent on shoving Islam down our throats as well. They allow a Mosque to be built at ground zero, in New York City, with its honeycomb of pentagrams on the façade rising up to the heavens like some sort of devilish tribute which mocks the destruction of the World Trade Center. But if Catholicism is sun-worship, and it appears to be, Islam and sharia law really are just the left hand of the Catholic Church and cannon law. So just exactly what does that give us? Do we now have moon and sun worship together? And is it sanctioned by the U.S. government and their confederates? Pagan idolatry has become so richly engrained within the U.S. government and the States we couldn’t rid ourselves of the symbolism without a concerted effort and that effort would take 1000 years. Even President’s and first ladies give the devil hand salute like it is some sort of badge of honor.

Our very acts as well as our mantra have become so vitriolic in nature; these pagans will drag the country down with them if we don’t change our ways and our leadership. While the U.S. government claims to stay out of religion, they should really stay out of the business of promoting pagan religions. However, man-made religion does seem to fit in with their plan. The Church of the Holy Trinity vs. United States is a perfect example of this. The Catholic Church is well known for its long and inglorious history of child molestation and quite probably child sacrifice. The Plain Truth states, “Cannibal (Cahna Baal) is a word which means “Baal Priest” and…had to do with CONSUMING OF HUMAN FLESH – mostly LITTLE CHILDREN.” And continues, “Nimrod, as the representative of the devouring fire to which human victims, and especially CHILDREN, were offered in SACRIFICE, was regarded as the great CHILD-DEVOURER.” The point of all this is, the U.S. Constitution is the Law of the Land given to us by our forefathers; God fearing men. Mosaic Law; God’s Law, is the only thing higher. Those are the only two things which should be of any concern to our leaders; not sun-worship of Ra, not their so-called pagan gods Nimrod and Semiramis, not their pagan leaders or idols; Ratzinger and his vile objects, and certainly not their pagan holidays. Unfortunately, it would appear as though our leaders as well as the leaders of the world are hell bent on the destruction of the United States and the world. Happiness cannot come to a Satanist unless they are allowed to cull billions of people. We cannot and should not allow this to continue.

Senior Obama Campaign official David Axelrod, admitted Sunday, August 5th on Fox News that Ohio military voters who are allowed early voting was indeed the target of the lawsuit filed against the state of Ohio. He incorrectly claimed that military early voting was an exception, which must be corrected, so that all Ohio voters can have the right to vote early

As Ohio Democrats and the Obama campaign were targeting the military overseas voters and lambasting the Ohio state legislature and the Secretary of State for engaging in alleged discriminatory practices, they conveniently avoided mentioning that federal law protects early voting rights of overseas soldiers.

The Obama lawsuit’s claim for relief states that as a matter of fact, Ohio voters are similarly situated as military overseas voters, in their inability to vote early. The lawsuit states: “Whether caused by legislative error or partisan motivation, the result of this legislative process is arbitrary and inequitable treatment of similarly situated Ohio voters with respect to in-person early voting,”

What is clear is that the intention of the lawsuit is to convey a sense of voter rights imbalance where none exists both legally or factually. The Obama lawsuit claims that the action by the state of Ohio was, ‘arbitrary’ and unconstitutional to allow three extra days of in-person early voting to military voters and their families who are overseas.

Yet, the 1986 and amended 2010 Uniformed and Overseas Citizens Absentee Voting Act allows this preferential treatment as a matter of fact and of law.

The very purpose for the law’s passage was due to congress’ recognition that tens of thousands of soldiers could not avail themselves of their U.S. Constitutional voters rights due to actual physical impossibilities related to their military service. Ohio voters are not confronted with similar physical service impossibilities. This is a matter of fact. So, where are the factually similar ongoing warfare conditions that military soldiers face, to be found for Ohio voters in the state? The Obama camp claims that the Ohio’s law provides, “arbitrary and inequitable treatment of similarly situated Ohio voters. The Ohio democrat’s claims do not add up.

This lawsuit filing was more a political ploy by the Obama campaign and their desperate democrat allied officials in Ohio, to use the heroic military soldiers of Ohio as part of their ominous chess game. In fact, Ohio democrats could legally surmise before filing the lawsuit, that the state could legally establish voting procedures.

In fact earlier in July, Ohio democrat officials first claimed urban voters, i.e. democrat base voters would be deprived of their “right to early voting.” In fact, the few counties that used this practice saw a dwindling number of voters using this option. Democrats lost that round, and then turned their targets on the one group of voters, who were overseas defending the nation: Ohio military voters. Democrats hoped that this inconvenient mistruth would stick against the legal wall.

The Ohio democrats and the Obama political voter bean counters in Chicago went into court with this fallacy of reverse discrimination being practiced in Ohio. It is probable that they concluded that a federal judge would ignore the federal Uniformed and Overseas Citizens Absentee Voting Act, which gives military overseas personnel the legal right to have access to early voting and extended voting. Not going to happen.

The Uniformed and Overseas Citizens Absentee Voting Act reads in part under Section G, paragraph D: “Hardship Exceptions”, that congress recognized as a matter of both fact and law, that military voters who are serving overseas are materially situated differently than other voters and therefore their voter rights must be protected and insured.

The law specifies that states must develop:

“(D) a comprehensive plan to ensure that absent uniformed services voters and overseas voters are able to receive absentee ballots which they have requested and submit marked absentee ballots to the appropriate State election official in time to have that ballot counted in election for Federal office, which includes:

"(i) the steps the State will undertake to ensure that absent uniformed services voters and overseas voters have time to receive, mark, and submit their ballots in time to have those ballots counted in the election;”

Ohio state officials were keeping consistent with federal law which legally grants an exception for overseas military voters. In fact, the Obama administrations own U.S. Justice Department asserts that it works vigorously to enforce the federal Uniformed and Overseas Citizens Absentee Voting Act. It states the, “department has worked to aggressively enforce UOCAVA and the MOVE Act in order to ensure that all military and overseas voters can exercise their right to vote, and have their votes counted.”

The facts are clear. The U.S. Justice Department is aware of the law and says it enforces it. The state of Ohio election officials are attempting to do the same. The Ohio legislature’s intention was to protect the federal rights of military overseas voters. So don’t be fooled by the bait and switch legal and campaign tactics by the Obama campaign and Ohio democrats.

In the end, Ohio democrats and the Obama campaign are engaged in a high takes politically charged chess game and they are unfortunately using Ohio military overseas soldiers as the pawns. In November, the Ohio voters…all of them including the military voters will checkmate the Obama campaign and the Ohio democrat cronies.

In the midst of foreign enemy pitched firefights, IED’s and rocket barrages, the Ohio military service men and women are now being targeted by an enemy at home as well. Obama presidential campaign officials, with the apparent go ahead from the commander-in-chief is suing to eliminate the legal voting rights of Ohio military soldiers. Millions in Ohio and across the nation may regard this as an unthinkable act of unbelievable disservice to soldiers who place themselves in harm’s way daily. Of course, they would be correct.

For a calculating politician who had just visited the Buckeye State, just scant days before, one would surmise that this callous act would not have occurred. Well it has occurred and it is clear from the Obama administration’s undertaking to openly deceive and divide the voting public with deceptive attention diverting advertising ploys against Mitt Romney, their end game is to win this key battleground state.

What drives this desperate move to disarm Ohio’s military voters is possibly tied to the Wednesday Gallup Poll numbers that were released, showing Obama’s approval poll numbers stalling at 46 percent in Ohio. If these underperforming approval ratings worsen as the campaign heads into the post Memorial Day election battlefield, Obama and his administration will be decommissioned by the voters of Ohio.

Enter the Obama campaign’s clumsy effort to outflank the one area of the Ohio voter base that can unseat the president: the military vote. This is important, because in the 2008 presidential election, approximately 1.7 million votes or close to 30 percent of Ohio’s vote total were cast through absentee ballots. With the military vote making up a large chunk of the votes cast and most military votes are supposedly typically cast for the republican presidential candidate, you can do the math. Eliminate the military early voting right and you eliminate a probably Obama presidential re-election loss.

What appears unfathomable to a majority of Americans in the heartland, is how can a president of the United States fight to protect the rights of millions of illegal aliens who engage in an ongoing criminal activity, i.e. residing in the United States by breaking federal and state laws of entry. Meanwhile soldiers under President Obama’s command are being undermined by this same commander-in-chief who is fighting in the courts to destroy the valuable voting rights of military servicemen and women protecting this nation.

Righteous outrage is the first phrase that comes to mind and former decorated military officer and now Florida congressman, Allen West is outraged by this dishonorable practice by Obama and his presidential campaign. Congressmen West stated, "To have the Commander in Chief make our US Servicemen and Women the target of a political attack to benefit his reelection actions is reprehensible.”

Yes, indeed and when you think about your family members who have been noble in their performance of duty and service to this nation it indeed leaves one with a deep sense of betrayal by Obama and his administration. On one hand as Obama’s campaign fights to take soldier’s early voter rights, the other Obama hand fights to increase and fast track jobs, education, housing for illegal aliens. His administration also is in court fighting to weaken state voter ID laws which will increase illegal alien illegal voting.

Soldiers who wear the uniform of the United States' military are not going to take this laying down. In fact, while the president’s men are sniping at our soldiers’ voter rights, military organizations have entered the field of battle. AMVETS, the Association of the U.S. Army, The National Guard Association of the Unites States and many others are rallying to the cause in a concerted effort to force dismissal of the Obama’s sanctioned lawsuit against soldiers.

Americans all over this nation, who have loved ones in the military, have been in the military or who simply love and support the military should let the Obama administration know your feelings.

Write to this page… and let your feelings as well as your support be known!

Write to your congressional representative. Write the White House. Stand with the soldiers and with Congressmen Allen West who says with a noble heart, “As a Combat Veteran, for this President to unleash his campaign cronies against our Military is unconscionable… Barack Obama is undeserving of the title Commander-in-Chief."

Ohio’s military knows it; Now America must know it…Forward to November when American military soldiers can give President Obama his separation from service papers for dishonorable conduct. This is a change that America can believe in.

Many Tea party Patriots agree that changes must be made if we are to return our country to the constitutional republic created by the framers and implemented by our founders.  Our system of government was designed to be complicated and cumbersome so as to protect the rights of the people and the individual states.  It is the expansion of federal power by ignoring and circumventing the intended checks and balances provided by our constitution in all branches of our federal government that has eroded our individual and states’ rights.  The list of things that need to be corrected, repealed, overturned or nullified in order to put things right is a long one, and I would not presume to dictate either the content of such a list or the order of importance.  I do suggest that this list of issues requiring redress includes action items for every branch of our government.  Some things should be legislated, some corrected by the Executive branch and some require further judicial action if we intend to affect these changes within the boundaries of our legal government.  Herein lays the problem since the people who are in control, or who are likely to be in control, of our government are no longer responsive to the people who they are supposed to represent. 

We have a very important election coming up and one would like to think that if we change the players they will do the right things and set our country back on the correct path.  History shows us that result is unlikely since it is dependent upon those who hold the power and control the means of wealth to voluntarily reduce their own power and relinquish some of that control as part of making the requisite changes.  We all hope the election will stop the bleeding by terminating the reign of the present administration, but I believe we should have a plan B just in case.

There is another way in which we can return power to the states and the people, a way that is totally within the legal boundaries established by our constitution.  This method is cumbersome by design and requires active participation of at least 37 of the states acting together to force these changes on those elected and appointed representatives that refuse to comply with the wishes of the electorate.  I refer to an Article V amendment convention as requested by application of two-thirds of the individual states.  This proposition would not be easily accomplished and I do not suggest we abandon other means available for seeking redress of these critical issues.  I am suggesting that our elected officials will need some incentive to step up and make the changes we demand.  I am suggesting this incentive take the form of a committee (or a group of committees) formed by representatives from all the states for the purpose of creating and prioritizing our list of issues that must be addressed soon.

Tea Party groups in every state are working to elect better representatives for both state and federal offices.  That is absolutely the correct first step and the preferred approach.  I hope that the ranks of Tea Party Patriots now include some of those elected to State offices and others influential in State government.  If we can assemble a group comprised of three to five motivated patriots from each state into a virtual committee of the whole we might be able to make real change happen in our lifetimes.  This group could segment itself into smaller committees tasked with bringing recommendations to the whole body to be considered for inclusion in a list of issues that would be approved by a majority of states and targeted for action to the appropriate branch of the federal government or to the states for individual but coordinated resolution.  Some issues might require the Article V amendment convention and it is this possibility backed by tacit agreement of at least 37 states that will provide the incentive for our elected representatives to do the right thing for our country for a change.  In addition, this group of states working together can effectively nullify any law or dictate from our federal government, and this does not require an amendment to the constitution.

This working group would not be a constitutional convention but would be focused on determining the most critical issues to be resolved in order to restore our constitutional republic as created by the framers and implemented by our founders.  However, if an Article V amendment convention is required we will already have a consensus among a majority of the individual states regarding what topics such a convention should address.  Such a group of States, all in agreement, is authorized by our constitution to make amendments to our constitution without the approval of Congress, the President or the Judiciary.  The realization that a cohesive group of states is ready to take such action may turn out to be a source of powerful persuasion with our elected federal representatives. 

I welcome your comments and suggestions regarding this bottom up approach.  If you agree and would like to participate please indicate that in your response.  I am hoping the Tea Party groups from each state can convince the right people to participate in such an endeavor.  My sense is we will need to work with both the state legislatures and the state Attorneys General to generate maximum effectiveness.

I found something similar on a friend's post last night.  I had to expand on what was there and bring it HOME!

You cannot straddle the fence.  You have to make a choice!  Are you an American, or not?  Being American depends on which side of the fence are you on!  Are you an American or socialist?  You cannot be BOTH! For example:

• If an American doesn’t like guns, he doesn’t buy one.  But if a socialist doesn’t like guns, he wants all guns outlawed.
• If an American is a vegetarian, he doesn’t eat meat.  If a socialist is a vegetarian, he wants all meat product banned and people who eat them taxed at a higher rate.
• If an American is a homosexual, he quietly leads his life.  If a socialist is a homosexual, he demands legislation to garner respect and laws to prosecute anyone who would dare speak against a LIFESTYLE!
• If an American is down and out, he gets up off of his butt and does everything he can to make his situation better.  If a socialist is down and out, he wonders who is going to take care of him and has the audacity to complain when the government is slow to respond!
• If an American doesn’t like a TV channel, he changes the channel and doesn’t buy the products that are advertised on the channel.  If a socialist doesn’t like a channel, they DEMAND that the government shut down that channel for being “too right wing!”
• If an American is a non-believer, he simply does not go to church.  If a socialist is a non-believer, he wants any mention of God or religion silenced by the government and within the government.
• If an American decides he needs healthcare, he goes about shopping for it or finds a job that provides it for him and his family.  If a socialist wants healthcare, he demands that everyone ELSE pay for his and everyone elses!  After all…that is the “fair way to be!”
• If an American reads this, he’ll forward it to others with pride.  If a socialist reads this, he will be “offended!”

I am a TRUE American.  My family has spilled blood in every war since we kicked the British out over 200 years ago.  We were on BOTH sides of the Civil War!  We are American’s by BIRTH and by RIGHT!  And now, as an American, I am voicing my concerns about where this nation is headed…and that direction is currently toward a socialist (even Marxist) philosophy.   I am SICK AND TIRED of those who promote a socialist agenda without concern for us Americans!   And now I am going to do something about it!   I am going to speak the TRUTH and I do so without regard for the socialist ideology!

I am posting this on Facebook as a result of my pride in this nation…not as an offense to Americans.  I have many friends who believe in “socialized society” and I care deeply for every one of them.  I respect their right for their beliefs MUCH MORE than they respect mine.  They are even sincere in their beliefs.  But they are SINCERELY WRONG!   I can only hope that this posting will shake them to their core and help them remember what made this nation great.  If they are offended; then too bad!  I will no longer pander to their “rights” or their “demands!”    

The GOVERNMENT does not care about the individual like we can one-on-one, as neighbors and friends. (This conflicts with the belief of the socialist who think the government should supply all our needs).   The GOVERNMENT cannot solve the problems of this nation through legislation and bail-outs. (Again, there is a conflict with the socialist).  The GOVERNMENT cannot solve the problems of this nation through socialized medicine, universal healthcare, and by silencing the voice of the individual.  (Again, not only is this a conflict, but it ticks the socialist off to hear these words!) 

Only WE…the TRUE Americans…can save our nation.  We do it through hard work and sacrifice.  We do it by helping our neighbors and opening our homes to those less fortunate.  America is NOT Republican or Democrat.  America is PEOPLE!  We the People!  And the American people are going to take this nation back!

Not ONE single social program has made this nation better in the past 100 years.  Social Security has become a strain on our tax base and will be completely broke within 20 years.  It has FAILED!  The Great Society (commonly known as Welfare) IS a strain on society and has enslaved millions over the past 40 years leaving them dejected and hopeless.  Yes…SOME have benefited.  But MORE have become powerless and struggle with poverty that none in our day should endure.  By and far it has done more harm than good.  National Healthcare will only add to the burden we must ALL shoulder…and that is downright un-American!  It is time to reverse the socialist course this nation has bent toward – especially the turn it has made since January 2009!

I challenge EVERYONE to read this and objectify our society.  Are we better off (socially or economically) than we were 3, 5, 10, 20, 50, or even 70 years ago?  Income taxes (not the rich) brought us into our first depression.  All you have to do is study history.  Wartime production helped bring us out of that depression!  Is that what we want?  World War III?  World War II was brought about by “isolationism” because the liberals (socialists) of the time did not “want to get involved in the war in Europe!”  It came to our front door.  Now we face a new enemy…one that hates America because of our freedom.  Want to wait until they attack again?  Want to let a rogue power, like Iran, obtain a couple of nuclear warheads?  Or do you want to stop them before they have a chance to bow up and strike an ally or, worse yet, our homeland? 

The fact of the matter is…I will stand with my last breath and defend this nation side-by-side with ANYONE who loves it as much as I do.  Your race, sex, religion, age, eye-color, number of limbs, ability to see, hear, smell, taste, or talk does not matter to me.  If you are an American and you care about this nation and what it stands for MORE than you care what this nation does for you; then we are together.  But if you have forgotten the words of JFK and are standing there complaining about what the government has or has not done for you, then you are NOT an American and you should get out while the getting is good.  “Ask NOT what America can do for you!”

I am just the tip of the iceberg.  Americans are waking up and taking back this nation all over the place and from every walk of life.  Socialistic attitudes (like those currently taking place with “Occupy Wall Street”) will be defeated post haste.  Socialism WILL become a thing of the past within my lifetime.  And any future attempts for a socialist takeover will be dealt with quickly and without concern for their “feelings!”  Americans are still the majority in this land despite the Socialist strongholds found on the left and right coasts!   Americans are STILL the majority despite the manure you see on CNN and the other liberal media ilk!   

America is about to experience the “Second American Revolution!”  It will take place in the hearts and minds of people from coast to coast and from sea to shining sea!  I love this nation and will stand firm for the rights of all Americans.  I will stand just as firm AGAINST the socialist agenda! 

Give me liberty or give me death!  But don’t show up unarmed!  I am going to fight with my dying breath for the liberty my family has fought to preserve for 235 years!   And I will fight harder and longer than any socialistic punk.  You have 235 years of catching up to do!  I am well armed and ready to take your way of thinking OUT of my country!  Leave quietly and there will be no need for me to defend my nation!

"We The People's" authority to amend the Constitution of the United States is derived from

Article V of the Constitution

The Constitution provides that an amendment may be proposed either by the Congress with a “two-thirds majority vote in both the House of Representatives and the Senate, or  by a “constitutional convention” called for by two-thirds of the State legislatures and since the President does not have a constitutional role in the amendment process, the joint resolution does not go to the White House for signature or approval.

A proposed amendment becomes part of the Constitution as soon as it is ratified by three-fourths of the States (38 of 50 States).  The process is called “Constitutional Convention”.

Constitutional Convention has only been used once in the entire history of this country.  I was astonished that it wasn’t congress that got the credit for ending “prohibition” but rather it was because of the united efforts of “We The People” through our collective state legislatures resulting in a forced joint resolution through the people’s right of Constitutional Convention.

What the Constitutional Convention does  is, if the President of the United States refuses to faithfully uphold his oath of office, just as President Obama did when he refused to enforce the“Defense of Marriage Act”(DOMA), and a U.S. Congress Committee fails to put forth an amendment in the  form of a joint resolution, just as the House Judiciary Committee has and is still doing to prevent a vote to amend the United States Constitution defining marriage to be the union between one man and one woman, the citizens of the United States can have their state legislatures  demand and force the U.S. Congress to do so through “Constitutional Convention” and bring forth a joint resolution to amend the U.S. Constitution and the United States President is powerless to do anything about it.

It means “We The People”, through “Constitutional Convention” could hold the U.S. Senate accountable to pass a budget by amending the U.S. Constitution preventing any further spending until it is done.

It means “We The People” through “Constitutional Convention” could establish the law of the land that no tax could be levied against the people without the ratification of (38 of 50) states of the union.

It means the people have a course of action to define and limit the scope of authority of any appointed or elected official.  The Supreme Court’s authority can be limited to the interpretation to the U.S. Constitution and any law or executive order would require the ratification of (38 of 50) states.

It means “We The People” could amend the Constitution to enhance the checks and balances of government  to allow the majority vote of either the House or Senate be sufficient cause for dismissal of any elected official or appointed official, including the Supreme Court Justices.

The Tea Party is in an excellent position to collaborate the state cooperation needed to make this course of action a reality for the American People.   

Will you help spear head the practice of "Constitutional convention" on behalf of “We The People”?  If the Tea Party of Each State were to coordinate efforts and topics of "Constitutional Convention" to each state legislature, "We The People" would not only have a greater voice but also would begin having a greater impact in Washington instead of just every four years or time of re-election

The Freedom of speech that we are entitled to in the First Amendment has been DELETED by this president in secret and signed into LAW.  HR347 gives secret service agents (hand picked by the president) sweeping powers to decide where we can and can't protest his policies.  They are able to determine NO FREE SPEECH ZONES!!  

For 230 years we have had the right to debate policies by any political figure.  This freedom of speech has been abridged.  Very little public debate in Congress.   Speech violations, the right to petition the government for a redress of your grievances, association violations will all fall into this category.  It gives unbridled power to the Secret Service members hired by Obama to decide where we can speak up against him - and since Obama is able to assign Secret Service protection to whomever he chooses - then they can decide that we are not entitled to protest those designated by the president as part of his team (David Axelrod, for example).  We need to be outraged and protest Congress on this one!  Destruction of our basic liberties happening live!

While Vermont may be stirring the waves with its march towards universal health care, and marching to its own drummer by expanding collective bargaining rights in the state, its most pressing and immediate issue is one that should rally tea party folks from across the nation to come to its aid.

I'm not talking about the Dick “never met a prostitute's toe I didn't want to suck” Morris' Tea Party, which is simply an attempt to co-opt the movement for the Republican establishment, or the “official” Tea Party, which is more interested in suing to protect its name brand and selling ads disguised as policy statements than it is in actually doing something constructive. No, I'm talking about Americans who are simply mad as hell and are not going to take it anymore. Americans who have had their fill of federal government overreaching and stepping on states' rights. Americans who are tired of seeing powerful corporations raiding the U.S. Treasury for taxpayer dollars in order to cover for their failed business plans. I'm talking about people who are well represented by their local and even state representatives, but discover that that representation is only something to be trampled by corporate lawyers and the federal judiciary.

In short, I'm talking about Americans who recognize that Entergy Nuclear of Louisiana's bid to usurp Vermont state authority in order to shove twenty more years of the leaky Vermont Yankee nuclear reactor down our throats against our will is not only a moral outrage, but is also a key threat to aspects of the Republic as outlined in the Constitution.

The tenth amendment reads as follows: “The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the states, are reserved to the States respectively or to the people.”

Entergy Nuclear wants the federal courts to take away Vermont's right to regulate affairs within its borders. For the sake of promoting profits, Entergy wants the federal government to trample Vermont's right to determine the policies that its citizens demand and deserve. It wants the feds to say that we have no voice in determining our own future. If there ever was an issue that brings together a host of important questions that should galvanize citizen action, this is it. Vermonters are calling on citizens from across the country to join us next March, when we will close down the reactor if the feds and Entergy Corporation are still colluding to keep it open. Vermont Yankee was licensed to run for 40 years. That license runs out on March 21, 2012. Entergy, in spite of lying about the existence of underground pipes that leaked large amounts of tritium, along with cesium and other dangerous elements, wants to run the plant for another 20 years. Vermont said no. We said it in town meetings, not town meetings where people simply get a chance to let off steam, but actual legal town meetings where the official business of our towns is decided for the year (one of the last vestiges of true democracy still extant in our nation). We said no in the legislature where, by over a four to one margin, the state Senate voted no to continuing VY operations past 2012. And we said no last November in a clearly defined gubernatorial election when we voted in the governor who campaigned emphatically to make VY close on time.

What part of NO do these people not understand? The part that interferes with their profits. The part of NO that they have not yet experienced is the NO that they will discover on March 21 next spring, when thousands of us will be clogging the streets and fields surrounding their leaky reactor, making operation impossible and forcing them to shut down simply to be able to maintain public order. This is an opportunity for all Americans to say that we have had enough. We have had enough of corporate welfare, enough of federal government over-reach, and enough of having our democracy crushed by powerful monied interests. Vermonters are now calling on the nation to join us in this definitive fight that will stop the erosion of our rights. Help us rebalance the lopsided power that has been concentrated in the hands of the establishment elite. Help us defend the Constitution. Vermont is a state where community and citizenship are still valued and practiced. Join us and become part of a movement that brings our nation back to its democratic roots. Ask yourselves one question: who could you expect to represent your aspirations and interests more, citizens using the democratic process to control their lives, or profit greedy corporations and their political lapdogs trying to promote an industry that the free market has abandoned.

The choice is yours. The future belongs to all of us.
