     First Greece, then Ireland and Portugal, now Spain, next America?  Two reports by the every vigilant Pajamas Media (PJM); and numerous other revelations from Spain are painting an ugly picture of political corruption, stupidity and rampant cronyism in eastern Iberia.  The Spanish Socialist government has issued a secret report showing that their green-tech jobs program destroyed the country’s once prosperous economy. 2011’s 21.3% UNEMPLOYMENT  figure confirms their confession as did the PJM’s uncovering of the original story.

     In 1997, Spain was the most prosperous European economy and one of the strongest in the world:  unemployment stood at less than 4%.  The country’s most popular political power, the Socialist Party began movement toward a green economy at that time.  Today, unemployment is five and a half times as high.  The elections in Spain in 2010 sent the ruling Socialists out of power; but people are today none too happy with the traditionally weaker Conservative Party either.  Most people believe that all the politicians in Spain pass laws to benefit themselves and do little for the people.  The country’s tiny Moderate Party made big gains in the 2010 elections and is expected to do even better in the 2012 ones.  The Socialists, however, are truly under-the-gun since recent revelations of heretofore huge unacknowledged debt has dealt an angry surprise to the voters and may force the nation to follow in the footsteps of bankrupt Greece, Ireland and Portugal and require a bailout from the international monetary fund (which American voters largely finance).

     Piles of undisclosed debt in local government associated with the operation of the country’s green-tech jobs programs are shaking up a political scene that was pretty much in chaos to begin with.  Spain, which had been doing everything it could to avoid becoming the next European bailout recipient, is far worse off than its people had been led to believe.  The huge debt revelations in 2010 seemed to indicate that the Socialists were waiting for the Conservatives to discover it after the election so the voters might “shoot the messenger” in the next election.  Unfortunately for the Socialists, the truth emerged and anger has remained rampant along the Costa del Sol and throughout the Spanish countryside over the last year.   Even today Spain has had trouble eradicating the debt and regaining a firm economic footing because of contract disputes with green energy companies created by the Socialist’s green energy programs.

     It all began with the first “offseason” government change earlier in 2010 in Catalonia which revealed a budget deficit there more than twice what had been reported earlier.  Piles of “hidden debt” are still being revealed to the new government related to the green program and to health clinics and other suppliers . . . in short, economists and analysts and numerous anecdotal reports from companies that supply local governments in Spain indicate widespread, unrecorded debt.  Companies complained that the Socialists when in power pressured them to do business off-the-books rather than immediately bill for goods and services according to  Fernando Eguidazu, vice president of the Circulo de Empresarios business lobby group in Madrid.  This chicanery continues to add tens of billions of euros to the official debt figures reported by local and regional governments.

     Undermined by a 21.3% unemployment rate and a perceived slowness in reacting to the country’s economic crisis, the Socialists lost control of the municipal governments of Barcelona and Seville, the country’s second- and third-largest cities.  Young people are protesting everywhere including the main plazas of Madrid, Barcelona and Valencia.  Unemployment among those in their 20’s and 30’s reached 50% in many areas at the height of the Spanish crisis. 

      Pajamas Media’s exclusive original story about the leaked Spanish government report in 2010 was confirmed later by several Spanish newspapers.   Yes, the very same Spanish “green economy” policies  that Barack Obama has modeled his administration’s green-jobs programs upon . . . have been cited by the Socialist government that created them as an “expensive, ineffective and unworkable disaster.”  The first Spanish newspaper on the scent was La Gaceta, a Madrid daily.  At about the time the story “went viral” the Socialist government came out with an admission that it was true.

     The Spanish public is still up in arms.  An academic team in Spain revealed all this in 2007 and was treated monstrously by the country’s media and by the ruling Socialists trying to discredit the survey’s purpose as purely political and without merit (Americans will recall that when the results of the Spanis study were brought up in a press conference, Obama Press Secretary Robert Gibbs made fun of the questioner).  Dr. Gabriel Calzada, the Spaniard who first exposed the disaster in 2007 was finally vindicated despite taking mountains of flack from the progressive academic establishment at his own and other universities across the country. 

     Professor Calzada is today often still  featured on all the nation’s most important news and business talk shows.  Despite all the nasty attacks he received, the good professor had enough integrity to stick by his guns these last four years and a year ago even wrote praise for “The dissection of ‘free-ice cream green jobs economics’” on the book jacket of Power Grab:  How Obama’s Green Policies Will Steal Your Freedom and Bankrupt America by American author Christopher C. Horner, a Pajamas Media watchdog whose book bears this enscription on the inside flap:  “Barack Obama’s ‘Green’ Policies Start With Controlling Your Energy…and End With Your Life.”

     This scandal associated with deliberately villifying Calzada and covering up the truth for three years, however, pales in contrast with the undisclosed debt still popping up everywhere in the country.  But Spaniards and Americans would do well to remember that the problems associated with our own financial meltdown** and with Spain’s collapse began years ago with misguided and deliberate progressive policies (more later).  For now remember this, in Calzada’s study:

       A)   2.2 real jobs in the real economy were lost for each green-tech job subsidized by the Spanish government. 

       B)   The average subsidized green tech job there (although counted equally with all the lost permanent jobs in the real economy) lasted less than a year. 

       C)   Only 10% of all the Spanish green-tech jobs proved permanent.

       D)  So, in reality, 22 real jobs in the real economy were lost for every permanent green job created in Spain

       E)   The average green tech job there paid roughly $12.20.

       F)   The owners of Spanish solar plants make 12 times more than what they pay for the energy coming from fossil fuel combustion. The majority of this profit comes from subsidies charged to the consumer via taxes.

     The long-run numbers are even scarier for Spain.  The government itself in recent revelation says that the alternative energies sector are stil scheduled to receive 126 billion euros in the next 25 years.  And things bode very badly for America:   Pajamas Media put it like this:

By the way, the First Wave of sabotage ended when the federal government bailed out bankrupt New York City in 1975.  New York State and many states and other large cities were also driven near the point of bankruptcy and the stock market suffered its biggest losses (46%) since the Great Depression (sound familiar?) . . . thanks to the progressive-left’s implementation of Cloward-Piven Strategy and Alinsky tactics to deliberately double the welfare rolls from eight to sixteen million people in seven years and overload the system as promised. When you examine Obamacare in detail, you find that the facts of the legislation contradict most of the selling points that the Liberals used as their basis for voting for the bill.

#1 – 18 Million People Added to Medicare while Cutting $500 Billion from the Program

Obamacare claims to cover 34 million new individuals with insurance.  The primary approach that the legislation uses to cover the uninsured is to expand the number of people under Medicare.   Yes, Medicare.  The same Medicare that was already scheduled to go bankrupt by 2017 before Obamacare passed.   The new legislation will add 18 million people to Medicare while reducing funding for Medicare by $500 billion.  Thus there is no choice but to reduce benefits to the existing Medicare recipients.  Given that more than half of the doctors in the United States do not accept Medicare, the further constraint of doctor availability will be another form of institutionalized rationing.

Woodrow Wilson, was probably, next to Barack Obama, the progressive president who threatened freedom most. He was a racist who showed the D.W. Griffith film “Birth of a Nation” repeatedly in the White House; ended federal hiring of blacks in Washington, D.C.; put Italian and German citizens into concentration camps during World War I; closed down newspapers that he disagreed with; and sought to manipulate the mind of voters to a degree not seen before in history thus inventing “propaganda.”

Warren G. Harding, who died in office, was one of the most effective and honest presidents ever. He inherited Woodrow Wilson’s “depression” as he came to office in 1921. It’s mostly been lost to history or been known as the “Invisible Depression” because within fifteen months Harding had brought it under control and returned the country to prosperity by cutting taxes 49%; cutting government spending 48%; and paying down the national debt roughly 31%. After his death a scandal associated with one of his cabinet members was dropped into his lap by progressive historians revising the truth; but Harding had no part in the Teapot Dome scandal. Calvin Coolidge, Harding’s vice president, replaced him at Harding’s death and continued the policies of Harding giving the country the most prosperous decade in its history: “The Roaring Twenties.” Herbert Hoover was placed onto Harding’s cabinet as Secretary of Commerce to appease some of Harding’s supporters. Hoover was a “tinkerer” and a progressive. When the Harding administration assumed power, Hoover advised Harding to make several major changes to combat the Wilson depression. But Harding ignored him. When Hoover became president in 1929 he immediately started “fixing” what wasn’t broken and put us into a huge fiscal debacle.

Herbert Hoover’s raising of taxes and dramatic increasing of tariffs ushered in hard times, job losses, Wall Street panic and a recession. He then created more government agencies than ever before seen to try to combat the problem but only made it worse. FDR and his vice president Garner campaigned against Hoover calling him a “socialist” and vowing to cut taxes and cut government spending (like Harding) but when FDR came into office he not only did not cut taxes or spending; and continued most of Hoover’s programs just giving them a different name; but expanded government to levels never before seen.

FDR tried to use government to create jobs and instead turned a little ‘d’ depression into the Great Depression. The Great Depression lasted until the country entered World War II. Whereas Harding eliminated a depression in 15 months, Hoover and Roosevelt extended theirs to 12.5 years.

Nancy Pelosi told us that every dollar spent on food stamps and unemployment checks is worth $1.79 in benefits to the economy and nothing revs up job creation like those two programs. Governments cannot create jobs** or create wealth. Government can only redistribute it. Pelosi can certainly not prove her statement. Yes, it’s very likely that food stamp and welfare money will be spent almost immediately and that’s likely to give apparent benefit. What Pelosi is not pointing out is that the money in the hands of the taxpayers is not diluted by passing through the hands of the IRS and scads of other bureaucrats and paying for all the employees, electricity and buildings and paper involved, etc. but that it goes directly into the economy even faster since it does not need to make a detour to Washington and then another detour to the state jobs offices or state welfare offices.

Communism, or ultra-socialism, is a philosophy particularly appropriate for dictators and totalitarian governments. But freedom is definitely not the only casualty under communism. The people suffer through deprivations and the government tends to kill them by starvation; brutal imprisonment; or more directly. In the 20^th Century totalitarian communist regimes in Red China, the Soviet Union, Cambodia, etc. etc. killed roughly 122 million of their own people. A new word had to be created to describe this phenomenon: "democide" (regimes killing their own people). Mao killed roughly 60 million in peace time, many by willful starvation by insisting that state programs be continued when obviously they were not working and people were starving to death. The Soviet Union spread its killings out across war and peace. Deliberate starvation of the Ukrainians killed seven million in peace time.

Che was a sadist who reportedly said he lost count somewhere after the 187^th prisoner he’d personally killed with his bare hands after he and Fidel Castro came to power.

The term “Global warming” as the environmental extremists use it is a lie. It’s relatively impossible to look at any five hundred year period in recent earth history without finding plenty of evidence of shifting climate. The global warming statisticians conveniently left out the 300 year “Medieval Optimum” (a very warm period in which Greenland and Iceland were relatively ice-free and the Vikings settled there and even discovered North America) when calculating global climate shifts. Of course while Europe and the rest of the world have covered the falsification of the data by Climate alarmists, the story has never run here in the United States in the mainstream liberal media.

High Carbon Dioxide concentrations in the atmosphere actually make the earth cooler by reflecting heat back into space and by encouraging plant life. Back in 1972 our present “Science Czar” John Holdren wrote a book about how the coming ice age was caused by man’s interferences and pollutants. Time magazine showed a cover with a frozen earth to herald his predictions. Climate alarmism is about putting the federal government in control of more and more of our lives and has zero-basis in fact.

By their own admission, the leaders of the Cap and Trade argument tell us that unless they put us back to about 1903’s technology, the global warming they say exists cannot be reversed. If it were true, mankind creates about 2% of the world’s carbon emissions the rest is natural so man cannot be blamed for the problem anyway. Despite this, President Obama told a San Francisco newspaper that his energy policies will “bankrupt the coal industry" and “must necessarily drive the cost of electricity sky-high.”

A Spanish study (of the green-tech experiment that took that country from the #1 job producer in the European Union in 1997 to 21% unemployment today) concluded that each green tech job subsidized by the Spanish government cost 2.2 jobs. Translated to American shores that means that President Obama’s promise to create five million green jobs would cost 11 million real jobs in the real economy. Not only that, but the Spanish study showed that once subsidies were removed or the individual programs expired, most green jobs disappeared also. Only about 10% of green jobs proved permanent . . . so only 500,000 of Mr. Obama’s jobs can be expected to be permanent (and the Spanish study showed that the wages were relatively low as well) at a cost of 11 million real permanent jobs in the real economy a 22/1 ratio that created the disaster in Spain (each job cost $677,000 to create). By the way, it reportedly took Edison 10,000 experiments to invent a workable light bulb . . . have you seen any indication that any green tech other than windmills is even close to "shovel-ready" for the whole country's use?

The $787 Billion Obama stimulus made the economy much worse. Jobs “created or saved” is a bogus statistic. You just count the number of jobs in the economy and see if the number rises or falls – that’s the only valid statistic. Much like the Spanish study, governments really fudge when they talk about job creation. For example in one study 34 jobs were created at only about $36,000 each by the Obama stimulus. WOW! However, closer study shows that the people were working in a meat industry for precisely ONE WEEK and each of their jobs got counted as a full-time permanent job???? So how much of the $36,000 was just a political payoff? You’ll never know.

Rachel Carson wrote a book called “Silent Spring” in the early 60’s. No actual science was involved in the creation of the book. Ms. Carson’s claims about the ills of DDT were never actually researched and DDT was taken off the market and eventually banned worldwide by the United Nations. In 1972 malaria deaths around the earth were roughly 42,000. Today more than two million people die from malaria every year not to mention all those who live with the disease for their whole lives. Ms. Carson killed 60 million people by getting a pesticide that can be drunk safely or used for salad dressing banned. Today many African and Asian nations are beginning to ignore the DDT ban.

The progressives would have you believe that only they are tolerant and only they are concerned about the poor. Leaving aside the fact that anyone who doesn’t adopt the “politically-correct” stance progressives approve of is called a “racist,” “stupid,” and “extremist bigot,” what are the facts? Anti-capitalists Richard Cloward and Frances Piven (infamous for the “Cloward-Piven Strategy”) joined with militant George Wiley in 1967 to create the NWRO to use the poor as “storm troopers” to assail the Welfare offices of the nation and swell the welfare rolls. Eventually they bankrupted New York City (1975) and came within a whisker of bankrupting New York State (NYC had to be bailed out by the federal government). The long-term result? The welfare moms that the National Welfare Rights Organization spawned totally changed the culture and lifestyle of the urban poor into a world of abject dependency and hopelessness. Single-mother families are now the norm and higher crime, unwed motherhood, school dropoutism, utter lack of upward mobility; and, in one part of the inner-city culture(the Black community) marriage and family is disappearing from the landscape as fatherhood is no longer an honored institution. Everywhere the dominant culture is the culture of “victimization” and hopelessness. Even though Cloward, Piven and Wiley failed to create the guaranteed national income they hoped for, they bragged in public and in print about their great deed in bankrupting NYC. Apparently they really care for the poor.

ACORN like the NWRO uses poor people as storm troopers. In the case of ACORN putting poor people into homes they couldn’t afford was considered a good thing. In the resulting recession, the poor people were the ones who suffered the most.

Conservatives vote against welfare laws which encourage dependency and ultimately trap poor people in poverty forever. Conservatives believe that first completing one’s education and then starting out in low-paying service jobs if necessary is training for the future, not humiliation.

The federal government creates meaningful jobs as effectively as newborns do calculus. By taxing away the resources of the private sector, government kills jobs.

Inflation is the main economic tool of progressives in democracies. It allows them to promise anything and everything (with the bills never coming due) to bribe the electorate into giving them their votes and power. From 1913 when the Federal Reserve Banking System was created to today, the American paper dollar has lost 98% of its buying power. Not only that, but the nation has a $14 TRillion National debt and faces $109 TRillion in unfunded liabilities (Social Security; Medicare; and the federal side of Medicaid services which have been promised to our citizens). This is the cost of voting for progressives who make big promises.

Propaganda was invented by the Woodrow Wilson regime and both Goebbels and Hitler referred gratefully to what they’d learned from the great American founders of this new science.

Eugenics was the subject of many intelligent discussions by the Fabian Socialists of England. Elites like H.G. Wells and George Bernard Shaw thought it was a necessary part of the necessary and gradual shift toward socialism they espoused. American progressivism is one offspring of the Fabians. Planned Parenthood founder Margaret Sanger, Teddy Roosevelt, Woodrow Wilson and other American elite believed eugenics was vital. Later the Nazis liked the idea too and put them into action with their gas chambers.

Socialism, not capitalism, exploits the poor. Using legislative handouts to enslave the poor in exchange for their votes, Socialism cuts the standard of living for everyone. The poor in America have it so horribly bad that they’re better off than 94% of the world’s peoples. Instead of bringing everyone down to the level of the poor, capitalism says “a rising tide lifts all boats” so let’s bring greater prosperity to everyone so the poor are elevated well above their present standard of living.

Tuesday, November 2, 2010 marks the most important election in at least four decades. The nation and the world are in severe crisis and only the rebirth of America’s principles can save us all. The two most DEFINING DYNAMICS of this election are these:

#1 Barack Obama and the progressive agenda threatening to destroy America as we know and love her . . . .

#2 The aroused Conservatives-on-the-March movement known as the TEA Party which stands for both “Taxed Enough Already” and even more aptly “Taken Enough Abuse” . . . .

The progressives’ rhetoric consistently maintains that the second item above is just another “reactionarism” by the “Party of NO,” that is, the TEA Party is just an “astroturf” G.O.P. feint at real populism. The TEA Party, of course, is an authentic conservative grassroots response that was clearly even more fed up with the “conservatives in name only” big-spending Republican Party which could have easily earned the title “Progressive-Lite” as they were with the radical-driven Democrats. In truth, the TEA Party came that the Republican Party might save its soul. Not the “Party of No” but the 'Party of Whoa!'”

With the exception of a few idiotic missteps, the TEA Party has wisely forgone the self-defeating narcissism of nominating its own candidates. Where the TEA Party has chosen to nominate candidates in the primaries rather than playing the more natural and powerful role of kingmaker once the candidates were set, the results have been poor. The perfect examples of this are Delaware, Nevada and Colorado. The political climate is so anti-incumbent and anti-Obama that a mental defective could be expected to win against the three horrific progressive-Democrats running for the U.S. Senate in those states . . . but thanks to the TEA Party’s pre-primary involvement not only are the results very much in doubt, the odds against stripping Obama of his senate control are now fairly high. And, of course, what do you have if you win despite the nonsense of O’Donnell, Angle and Buck? Three idiots in the U.S. Senate, ugh!

Let's get the "cautionary tales" out of the way so we can go back to congratulating ourselves for a job well done, eh? In Nevada two strong conservative candidates were running in the Republican Primary to oppose Harry Reid. The eventual “winner" chosen by the TEA Party, however, was unqualified as far as communications skills, intelligence and understanding of political strategy (in this case the strategy is ultra-simple: concentrate on Reid’s record; Nevada’s problems; Obama’s record; America’s problems; and protecting our Constitution and our pocketbooks; nothing else) who is now embroiled in a needlessly close and expensive campaign that either of the other more qualified candidates would have put away long ago.

In particular, Angle has injected the infamously losing and suicidal social-conservativism into the equation. In case no one mentioned it to her, the TEA Party’s ten item “Contract from America” concentrated on fiscal and Constitutional issues and left social-conservativism unmentioned. The nation is and always has been fiscally and Constitutionally conservative . . . the reason that conservative clarity has been flooded over by progressive muddle-headedness so often in the last century is simply that Conservatives have been all too eager to push their social prohibitions (most infamously the notorious Volstead Act prohibiting liquor) upon everyone else. In Colorado, Ken Buck is just Sharon Angle on Super-Steroids. Rajjpuut who lives in Colorado is ashamed of the god-awful choices available to him . . . Buck or Bennet. And, as far as Delaware, the less said about the TEA Party nominee, the better. She makes Ken Buck look like a statesman. And the final piece of idiocy? Neither the TEA Party nor the Republicans are revealing their major weapons . . . how much talk have you heard about the TEA Party "Contract from America" or the Republican "Pledge to America. It's kind of like leaving your varsity at home and dressing only the freshmen team for the biggest game of the season. Thankfully, the frosh have been doing well.

In case Rajjpuut’s message is not precisely clear to the reader: in its proper role as “KINGMAKER,” the TEA Party is no threat to the G.O.P. but rather is a dynamic coalescence of all good things conservative (fiscal and constitutional) and American. Democratic conservatives, Independent Conservatives and Republican Conservatives now, finally, have a home. Holding the feet of the two major parties to the fire as Kingmakers, rather than splitting Conservative votes, the TEA Party has it in its power to return America to her roots and a new greatness. Sarah Palin’s nomination as the 2008 Republican Party’s Vice Presidential candidate has been followed by the rise of the TEA (Taken Enough Abuse? Or Taxed Enough Already) Party and a simultaneous upsurge in the involvement and commitment of Conservative women to returning the nation to small and responsive federal government, lower taxes, dramatically lowered spending and alignment with the purposes and practices of Constitutional Republicanism. Despite mountains of evidence that these women and a whole groundswell of the people are in synch with reality and that he is not, Barack Obama and his media sycophants can’t seem to see the forest for the trees surrounding them . . . .

ITEM: While being interviewed by the New York Times President Obama admitted “. . . there’s no such thing as a shovel-ready project,” they do not exist in Washington’s bureaucracy and thus the stimulus didn’t work.

ITEM: In selling that $787 Billion stimulus, the president swore to us that unemployment would NOT rise above 8% if the bill became law. Unemployment, of course, rose to 9.6% and is now reportedly headed to over 9.9% according to the Gallup polling organization.

ITEM: We are coming to realize that according to all the latest administration projections high unemployment is expected to be a fact of life and the only way to sort of deal with it is to allow them to tax us more and spend more of our money.

Item: One more broken promise, the House of Representatives adjourned for last minute campaigning without bothering to vote on extending the Bush Tax Cuts; and one more broken law, they still have not passed a budget. Is that a problem?

ITEM: College age voters (Obama’s most fanatical multi-racial support group) are in growing agreement that despite all the spending, unemployment is rising and their chances of finding jobs under Obama are shrinking by the day.

ITEM: Mr. Obama states that “most of the unemployed had already lost their jobs when I took office,” failing to mention that their numbers have increased by 40% since he came to Washington, D.C.

ITEM: Progressive economists have been uniformly inaccurate and ineffective throughout history. Four of the five economic “architects” of the Obama job approach (just throw money at the problem) have already left the administration for greener pastures.

ITEM: Speaking of progressive economists . . . their version of truth, known as “Keynesian Economics,” is a progressive (“we must ‘progress’ beyond the outdated and seriously flawed U.S. Constitution”) tool encouraging politicians to tax and spend and throttle the free market. The country as a whole is now, however, coming more and more to realize that government canNOT create jobs or wealth but can only redistribute wealth so ineffectively that all government programs to either create jobs or spread wealth inevitably destroy jobs and mean individual and overall wealth for our citizens.

ITEM: Progressive politicians cannot intelligently answer the question “How do you create a job?” Yes, they can hem and haw and stumble through the idea of how jobs that are already created can sort of create other jobs . . . but they have no idea. And God help us if you, a voter, don’t know either, here’s the answer:

ITEM: Progressives see naturally arising free market forces as exploitation. ITEM: Fifteen million people are still unemployed and Nancy Pelosi’s and Obama’s solution extend unemployment benefits and multiply food stamp eligibility. Pelosi says that these programs are “biggest bang for the buck” as far as getting the economy in motion . . . claiming they return 179% on the dollar. Since government’s can’t create jobs or wealth and government programs are at best highly INefficient at transferring wealth the true number would probably be much closer to 39% which means that they kill 2.5 jobs for every job they help create in the economy. It’s also a proven fact and demonstrable part of reality (with unemployment benefits now extended to 99 weeks) that a surprising upsurge in job “discovery” takes place during the last three weeks of receiving unemployment checks regardless of whether that is the 23rd week or the 80th week . . . indicating that long periods of “covered unemployment” actually retards job-hunting.

ITEM: The majority of the public wants Obamacare repealed. Why? They’ve come to realize it will be the biggest drain on the economy of all time, won’t make us healthier and won’t lower costs, will allow federally-funded abortions, and actually make access to medicine, much less good medicine much more difficult. Now they’re seeing that Obamacare is jerking health insurance costs sky-high for private companies. So far at least 30 major corporations have been granted waivers to implementing Obamacare (so they don’t have to drop coverage of employees) and hundreds more are applying. And by the way, the reality that more and more Americans will lose their present insurance (“If you like your present insurance, then you can keep it.”) is not what even the supporters of Obamacare bargained for.

ITEM: Among Democrats, at last count only Nevada’s Harry Reid is running his re-election campaign with any mention of supporting Obamacare . . . and Harry Reid looks to be losing to one of the most bone-headed persons to ever call herself a “conservative.”

ITEM: The progressives are poised to allow the Bush tax cuts to expire at midnight on New Year’s Eve and that will surely amount to the largest tax increase in history.

ITEM: Obama’s much promised “transparency in government” and “bi-partisan involvement” allowed bribe after bribe after bribe (Cornhusker Kickbacks; Louisiana Purchase; building a new bank here; exempting a hospital there; etc., etc. ad nauseum) to ram the unpalatable Obamacare law and other unwanted bills down our throats and the process was certainly not broadcast openly but largely played out behind closed doors with only key Democrats invited in.

ITEM: Barack Obama said this in summing up his presidency so far for the New York Times . . . “I think they (people) could say, on a bunch of fronts he (the president) still has an incomplete. But I keep a checklist of what we committed to doing, and we’ve probably accomplished 70 percent of the things that we talked about during the campaign. And I hope as long as I’m president, I’ve got a chance to work on the other 30 percent.”

ITEM: Sorry, Mr. President, if your child was assigned to clean up his room and take the garbage out and he instead opts to scatter the garbage around the house and light the house on fire: his grade is not “incomplete,” it’s utter and horrific “FAILURE!”

Obama’s latest effort, saying that the Chamber of Commerce is receiving and using huge amounts of foreign donations to support Conservative candidates totally ignores the facts that A. That’s a 100% lie B. Obama’s campaign still hasn’t revealed the origin of about $320 million of us campaign donations with at least $105 million of that coming from foreign sources.

Our Federal Government’s Become EXPERT

in Fixing Everything that Ain’t Broken Yet

We’ve all heard the old rhyme, “Good night, sleep tight, don’t let the bedbugs bite!” You may have also heard that the federal government has moved into crisis mode about the rising bedbug infestation in the country, but you probably didn’t know that under the Clinton administration, the progressive politicians in this country and their most progressive expression of the nanny-state . . . the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) . . . began treating the bedbug as an endangered species (not literally, lighten up a bit) and today we’re reaping the rewards of their “enlightened” policies. Furthermore the enlightened feds are not backing down from their enlightened stance so that . . . in a nutshell, just as in the federal government’s law suit against Arizona's new immigration law moves forward, the feds are also giving the state of Ohio an enormously heavy-handed hard time because GASP, Ohio is striving mightily to eradicate the little pests.

How bad has the problem gotten? The EPA has announced its second national bedbug summit for this winter in Washington, D.C. The Waldorf Astoria Hotel in New York City and the Wall Street Journal discovered bedbugs in their confines last week. And meanwhile since its last bedbug summit in April, 2009, the problem has gotten much worst and the EPA is still sitting on its hands unable or unwilling to make a decision since then on raising their ban on stronger more effective pesticides first put into effect under the Clinton administration. In the eighteen months since the last bedbug summit, the EPA has not been idle, however, they’ve changed their website info on bedbugs seven times.

The bedbug “problem” was practically non-existent between the end of World War II and the mid 1990’s when Clinton’s people decided to fix what wasn’t broken and ban all-manner of effective pesticides. Congress passed a major pesticides law in 1996 and the Clinton EPA banned several classes of chemicals that had been effective bedbug eradicators. And even now as public health officials around the country are clamoring to bring those chemicals back to help solve the bed bug “emergency,” EPA bureaucrats have downplayed the idea and environmentalists are pushing hard against the effort, citing safety concerns. Yup! Yup, they fixed the problem real good! Yup!

And, yup, EPA chief Lisa Jackson, who dismissed Ohio Governor Ted Strickland’s appeals over the issue in a June letter, still pompously assumes that only the feds know what’s best for the rest of us. Ohio has just been “presumptuous” enough to assume that they can allow the use of an effective bedbug fighting pesticide called “Propoxur” which has NOT been banned by the EPA yet. The best that can be said for bureaucrat Lisa Jackson is that she hasn’t outright banned Propoxur YET! Propoxur, you see was allowed for use in residential homes until 2007 and has never been actually banned at all. The EPA, in its wisdom said (without studies one way or another) that they feared that Propoxur might prove dangerous for children. Rather than paying for an expensive re-do of their own original studies of the pesticide . . . knowing the vagaries of the EPA’s whims, the manufacturer of Propoxur decided not to strive to sell the product in the United States. Any Propoxur manufactured before 2007 is still available for use in residential areas, so pest controllers have a limited supply they could use . . . and that’s Ohio’s plan.

Are you getting the gist of all this? The federal government is now in crisis mode to fix a problem they created (a very familiar pattern as you’ll soon see). The federal government has become expert in “fixing what isn’t broken” with GIBs and GBSBs (government interference boondoggles and government big-spending boondoggles) and reducing our freedoms and our lifestyles as a result . . . .

ITEM: based on the non-science of Rachel Carson’s book Silent Spring, the United States and eventually the world moved to ban DDT, the safest and most effective pesticide ever created (you can literally drink DDT or use it on your salad as a dressing). Malaria deaths which dropped to 43,000 worldwide in 1970 now stand at 2,000,000 every year. Ms. Carlson’s book and the EPA over-reaction without doing any real studies have killed 75 million people since 1970.

ITEM: to save a three-inch fish, the delta smelt, from getting sucked into irrigation piping, in the middle of a seven-year drought, the EPA has banned much irrigation in central California around Fresno . . . turning the nation’s vegetable basket into a dry, lifeless center of unemployment.

ITEM: In 1975, the United States was the envy of the world averaging 64% private home ownership year after year. Only one in every 404 home loans was made at 3% down payment or less -- almost all home loans were granted at 10-25% down payment. In 1977, the Carter administration passed the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA ’77) to force mortgage lenders to make bad loans to people who could not reasonably be said to qualify for such loans. In 1993 the Clinton administration used regulatory processes to bypass congress and give the CRA laws real teeth; in 1995 Clinton and congress was able to expand CRA ’77 law twice; in 1998 in a steroid-version expansion of CRA Clinton and congress made another CRA expansion. The result of fixing a system that wasn’t broken?

By 2005, 34% of all home loans were made at 3% down payment or less (an increase of 13,800% in the ratio of presumably unwise home loans in America since 1975); worse, borrowers who would have had trouble getting a $120,000 loan in 1993, were being put into $400-$500,000 homes in 2005. Thanks to the ACORN** efforts (to overload the system a la the same Cloward-Piven Strategy that bankrupted NYC in 1975 after overloading welfare for eight years) on behalf of people without jobs; people with atrocious credit ratings; people without even a rental history; people with food stamps as their only “income”; other people on some form of welfare; and even illegal aliens . . . the country found itself in a “sub-prime lending crisis” that the government with the willing help of ACORN and progressives had created.

Are you still a fan of big government? Do you still think the government knows best? Do you think they can do a better job with your money, after raising your taxes, than you can do with it? Was the system broken before 1965 when Lyndon Johnsons’ “Great Society” programs expanded welfare dramatically; created Medicare and Medicaid (federal and state programs both) and led us to two monstrous entitlement programs that today have put the U.S. government $80 TRillion behind the 8-ball in UNFUNDED liabilities? Did you know that the obligations on the state side of Medicaid will bankrupt all but one or two states by 2024? What about Social Security, did you know that the SSA is $34 TRillion in the hole in UNFUNDED liabilities? That social security, Medicare and the federal side of Medicaid now are approaching $115 TRillion in UNFUNDED liabilities? Did you know that all three of these programs are “set-asides,” but that rather than setting the money aside as required by law, the government used that money and even borrowed more to create not only those three huge UNFUNDED liabilities but also our present national debt of roughly $13.8 TRillion? Do you understand why so many people are up in arms about respecting our Constitution? About taking care of our nation’s fiscal mess? About reducing taxes? About reducing spending? About taking the country back from politicians and putting it back in the hands of the people? About returning to sanity?

If you go to the CPUSA.org website (that’s Communist Party USA) you will find a list of three hundred organizations asking their rank and file to attend the Saturday rally. Besides the Communist Party, the DSA or Democratic Socialists of America (a “Democratic Socialist is what Vladimir Putin became when he tore up his commie party card, took off his gun and uniform and quit the KGB altogether) and the International Socialist Organizations (ISO) and every fringe progressive (we need to ‘progress’ beyond the outdated and seriously flawed U.S. Constitution) group in America are environmental extremists and militant unions and at least 272 sub-prime Communist and Socialist organizations. Part II: Victim #2, The Fourth Estate (Journalism)

In the previous installment (Part I: Victim #1, TRUTH ) we discussed how the progressives/liberals play fast and loose with the notion of their victimhood by the oppressor-conservatives in society. Indeed, how progressives club the conservative society at large around them (those racists, bigots, Nazis, Fascists, women-haters, who drove the car into the ditch with the monstrous lie of their own victimhood. Then we examined five of their biggest and most popular victim dramas in some depth. We ended with this surprising truth about the “car in the ditch” parable:

Using the same Cloward-Piven** strategy they employed to DELIBERATELY create the bankruptcy of New York City between 1967 and 1975 by creating a community organization that deliberately overloaded the welfare rolls . . . beginning especially after 1992 . . . ACORN, OBAMA, First ACORN PRESIDENT Bill Clinton, and oodles of progressives (98% of them Democrats) DELIBERATELY were pushing the car toward a 500-foot cliff . . . when George W. Bush jumped in and grabbed the steering wheel and hit the brakes. Bush was able to create a controlled-skid and guide the car to rest in a friendly-looking ditch!

Admit it, this is a surprising, if not shocking truth but one which we’d already documented earlier in that first blog and which Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner summed up briefly two weeks ago when he praised Bush’s passage of a 2007 law that Geithner was assessing.

While that might play in Peoria, truth is no desiderata for the left. “You can hear the non-denial denials rampant “You’re blaming poor people for the recession?” No, we don’t blame the poor people for letting ACORN, Obama and the progressive movement use them like storm troopers against capitalism . . . no, Rajjpuut blames the progressives who knew damn well what they were doing and who’d plotted it all along. The poor have been doubly victimized by the progressives by a) being used as pawns and b) becoming locked more deeply in to the victimhood lie when they failed to be able to pay their $400,000 mortgages. Let us delve further into these crocodile tears shed before liberals dismember our country . . . .

Journalism was honored in the perspectives of our founding fathers because they saw it as another part of the necessary system of ‘checks and balances’ that kept the Republic strong. Today, however, the Fourth Estate has become the first line of defense for progressive/liberal candidates and ideas. The broadcast media and print media are today NOT trusted by the average Americans because it’s obvious that far from truth, the media are pushing the left-wing agenda.

The Pew Research Center found that for 12 out of 13 consecutive weeks during the 2008 presidential campaign, Obama was the presidential candidate most visible in the news. Obama was clearly the “media’s president.” News outlets by their dramatically favorable and dramatically increased coverage of Obama essentially provided free advertising for him, giving him significantly more frequent and more favorable coverage than Sen. John McCain. The cost to the Obama campaign would have been hundreds of millions of dollars to buy all the advertising that the left-leaning media provided him for free. But that’s not all, journalists who gave to Obama during the 2008 presidential campaign outnumbered those who contributed to McCain by 20-to-1, according to Investor’s Business Daily. How severe is a 20-1 edge? Blacks voted for Obama over McCain by 95.6% to 4.4% that’s just barely over 20-1.

Are you surprised to discover that campaign news coverage of Sen. McCain was three times more negative than coverage of then-Sen. Obama following the conventions, according to the nonpartisan Project for Excellence in Journalism. Recently, leaked e-mail messages from an online forum for reporters and commentators called JournOList** gave Americans a look behind the curtain of the national media — a mighty ugly backstage view. During the 2008 campaign, a group of over 400 journalists, academicians, and media bigwigs tried to protect then-Sen. Obama from the Jeremiah Wright “God damn America” scandal that threatened his presidential campaign by focusing attention on the “racism” of Obama’s attackers and non-attackers.

"Journalists from Time, Politico, The Baltimore Sun and The New Republic, among others, expressed outrage over questions regarding Reverend Jeremiah Wright that Obama received during a debate. Some of the journalists collaborated to shield Obama from his association with the radical preacher,” according to Tucker Carlson’s The Daily Caller website. President Obama won by about 7.3 percent. “That means that if the media’s biased reporting changed the minds of just four voters out of every 100, the media determined the outcome of the election.”

Today, the media coddling of Obama continues. "Hardball questions" are never asked and anytime he's GASP!! criticized, the newsmen break out the "racism" card in his behalf. It's impossible to be just objecting to Obama's actions or his political views, no, you are a racist! Despite Barack Obama’s well-demonstrated ineptness as president and his vicious attacks on America’s free markets and her Constitution, the once proud Fourth Estate in the hands of today's progressive/liberal media is still slanting 99 stories of every 100 in obvious efforts to help him the most or hurt him the least . . . because Barack Obama (and not the voters and taxpayers) is clearly the victim here . . . and if you don’t believe that, you’re a bigoted, racist, anti-woman, homophobe infected with cooties . . . .

Americans who listen to and believe the left-wing rhetoric of the progressive Democrats in power today really need to learn to separate facts from historical revisionism . . . the words here below are 100% true, Rajjpuut crosses his heart . . . .

Myth: The Nazis were fascists, and both fascists and Nazis were conservative (right-wing) organizations.

Truth:

The National SOCIALIST German Workers’ Party came into power by viciously attacking the Republican values and Democratic methods of the Weimar Republic. They promoted “a managed economy that was neither capitalist nor communist” according to their literature. The first time the world at large learned of them, was after Adolf Hitler’s “Beer Hall Putsch” an attempt to violently overthrow the government of Bavaria in southern Germany and replace those in power with Nazis. Until Hitler joined and took over, the Nazis were perhaps the most pathetic of about 20 leftist organizations vying for power in the country and most of them had the word “socialists” in their name. They were most jealous of the Communist Party’s large membership and Hitler made a point of blaming the loss of World War I on his three main scapegoats: the Jewish bankers and businessmen; the Communists and the so-called “November Criminals” that he said had all worked together and undermined the army in the field. The same areas so exciting to today’s progressives were big interests for the Nazis: environmentalism, nutrition, emphasis on organic and wholistic health and food-raising, and even state-run exercise and health programs and most importantly their utter conviction that they could create a utopian society.

The Nazis and Communists were both very popular in the 20’s and early 30’s but the two groups were decidedly incompatible. Why? Because Hitler emphasized the Aryan idea of purity and the notion that all things good came from their Teutonic heritage of blood and culture a direct attack on the made-in Russia worldwide communistic movement. For their part, the Reds after Hitler’s attack on Russia also felt a need to distance themselves from the Nazis because the Nazis were proof-positive that all revolutions were not good. They could have pointed to the French for that also. The lower classes were the Nazi’s base; only after Hitler came to power did the industrialists begin to show any attention to him. The Nazi’s burned the Reichstag and blamed it on a retarded communist, and immediately gained “emergency powers” that superceded the Weimar Constitution. Thus Hitler became a powerful dictator.

While we’re at it, today the left calls Nazis “fascists.” This is wrong, but more importantly the fascists (such as those found in Italy under Mussolini), were a labor-union phenomenon, hardly the stuff of right-wingers. The labor unions in Italy took over the corporations. In any case, we conservatives like very small government and do not like the totalitarian states which are found under Communism, Nazism, and Fascism. The Left has made a concerted effort since Woodrow Wilson (a progressive president who wrote his own interpretation of American History) to revise all of American and World History to reflect the notion that all things LEFT are “good.” Anyone who hasn’t read the epic expose` “The Nazi Seizure of Power” definitely should. In a fictional vein, Eric Maria Remarque’s novel “The Black Obelisk” vividly portrays the German landscape prior to and immediately after the Beer Hall Putsch as seen through the eyes of a lost soul who was one of a band of iconoclastic “merrymen” watching their civilization collapse around them.

Myth:

Communism is a benign political ideology. Che Guevarra and Mao, for example, are world cultural heroes.

Truth:

“Democide” or killing of citizens of the state by their very own government (including genocide and mass murder) is not a new idea. But the most efficient and ruthless in history were all 20^th

Century communist states. While Hitler killed 13 million of Europe’s assorted Jews, gypsies, intellectuals, royalty, Jehovah’s Witnesses, homeosexuals, aged, retarded, handicapped, and other folk they classified as “undesirables” . . . comparatively few German citizens were killed by the Third Reich say perhaps two and a half million. Communism, concentrating itself mostly upon “purifying” their own citizenry, was directly responsible for the deaths of 120-128 million people during the 20^th Century. Mao killed 54 million Chinese during peacetime. Stalin killed roughly 50 million in war and peace (not counting the 8 million Ukranians he deliberately starved to death that history likes to overlook) . Pol Pot killed 2.5 million in tiny Cambodia. Viet Namese communists, Tito’s Yugoslav communists, and North Korean Communists round out the sad story. Che Guevarra is said to have said he lost count of how many Cuban prisoners he’d personally killed somewhere after 150. Love those Mao and Che T-shirts, do you?

While a lot of evil and mischief (our current financial crisis for example) are directly attributable to the Communists operating in this country, early on the Communist party was one of the few voices the common working man in America had. A lot of abuse by mega-corporations in the 1890’s and early 20^th

Century were vehemently opposed by communists and the early labor unions. Later when unions got big and powerful and virtually lockstepped themselves with communism and sought to gain huge war chests for political power . . . that’s when the whole process became ruinous rather than refreshing. It’s striking that now the left is calling “rednecks” racists and all manner of evil. When coal miners in West Virginia were advised by their communist and labor union leaders to wear red banadannas around their necks so they could identify themselves in a confrontation with corrupt mine owners and their machine gun wielding armies of “detectives” who’d already slaughtered some of the miners’ leaders . . . that was not a racist act but an act of labor defiance and fighting for human rights. “Red Necks” were originally union men or strikers (as the Southern Colorado miners in the Trinidad District Strike were). Only much later was the term applied to so-called “poor white trash” and “trailer trash” lumped together as racists and mental-defectives by the Left. Next time, Part II.

The essay, entitled “Problems Facing Our Socialism,” discusses “scientific socialism” – inter alia – communism; price controls on hotels; forced communal ownership of land; confiscation of private property; government ownership of businesses; wealth transfer from Asian and European Kenyan hands to Black Kenyans; confiscation of foreign businesses, land and property; 100% taxes upon income; and government planning to design the full “politico-socio-cultural context” desirable for Kenya.

Our liberal main stream media (MSM) never held our president’s feet to the fire as a candidate, they gave him a free pass and a get out of jail free card and they are doing the same thing now. Most Americans have heard nothing about the month-old “JournOList” scandal in which the e-mails of 400+ liberal journalists, academicians and media folk show that in one form or other they’ve been conspiring over an e-mail list server, some of them for over thirteen years to control the news in this country. The four biggest revelations thus far:

A. They felt betrayed by a non-JournOList reporter from ABC who broke the Reverend Jeremiah Wright “Not God bless America, God Damn America!” story. To protect Barack Obama they discussed ignoring the story, down-playing the story and their final solution: seeking out quotable sources to denounce key Republicans and conservatives as “racists” to deflect a lot of the story’s sting.

B. Their e-mails revealed they strongly preferred Candidate Obama to Hillary Clinton and overlooked stories of illegal bussing and other Obama shenanigans that allowed him to win 13 of the 14 caucus states and gain the nomination. They willfully ignored the Van Jones scandal and other Obama faux pas and considered all or virtually all conservatives as criminals, murderers, racists and stupid.

C. One woman told the boys at one point to buck it up; that she hadn’t felt any too good “as a woman and a feminist” standing idly by while Bill Clinton’s philandering with Monica, Jennifer, etc. was going on . . . the lads needed to bite the bullet for the team.

D. Another woman described in great detail her fond dream of Rush Limbaugh dying of a heart attack at her feet while she stands and cheers and does nothing to help . . . “his eyes bugging out, turning blue . . .” etc., etc.

The JournOList list server is now defunct but the JournOList story is virtually unknown because the MSM has done little to bring its long existence to the public’s attention. Even liberals not associated with JournOList seem to have accepted its existence with a “wink and a nod.” As soon as JournOList ceased to exist, some of the same 400+ created a new entity on the list server called CabalList and many of their first discussions considered how to keep their new conspiracy out of the public’s eye as well as a lot of bitc_ing and moaning about their private e-mails being exposed. With 400+ people on JournOList did they really have an expectation of privacy, hah?

Right now 55% of Americans have wised up somewhat and in a recent poll agree with the statement that “socialist” is the correct descriptor for Barack Obama. If the MSM had circulated his father’s essay linked at the top of this blog; if the MSM had vetted his first book “Dreams of My Father” surely the American people would NOT have chosen the worst of the three viable candidates, would they?

Would Barack Obama have been elected president IF his “socialism” were known? Would he have won the Democratic nomination if his socialism and/or his voter-fraud in the caucuses against Hillary Clinton had been known. What if the 100% truth about Barack Obama and his communism were known? How many Americans understand the radical and communist nature of not only the Obama czars but of virtually 100% of his administration and his associates? Democracy rides upon the backs of an aware citizenry. How much harm has the liberal MSM done to America?

Rajjpuut has known for roughly 25 months that Barack Obama is a communist, it was there all along easy to find. On Taxday of 2008 (4/15/2008) Politico.com, a fairly liberal blogsite broadcast two pieces of information over the internet . . . .

As desperate a news hound as Rajjpuut is, it took over two months before he stumbled upon the politico links. By then he already knew that Barack’s mother, Stanley Ann Dunham, and his grandfather were both communists; had raised the child Barack, Jr. as a communist; and that Barak, Sr. and Ann had met in a Russian language class at the University of Hawaii and Barak, Sr. was a leftist. How many Americans would have supported Obama against Hillary or against Mc Cain if all that was public knowledge?
