Lesbian Democrat senator denies individual right to religious liberty

The chilling redefinition of the First Amendment’s guarantee of religious liberty by Sen. Tammy Baldwin, Democrat of Wisconsin and the Senate’s only lesbian, is a looming threat to religious liberty.  With the possible loss of tax exemptions for churches and institutions that don’t comply with the Supreme Court’s same-sex marriage decision, an era of religious persecution may be upon us.

Baldwin made her remarks on the June 27 broadcast of Up With Steve Kornacki on MSNBC.  In a transcript of her remarks posted on Newsbusters, Baldwin ignored the fact that it was religious persecution in Europe that led to people fleeing here seeking religious freedom on an individual as well as institutional level:

Churches could lose tax exemption over gay marriage

Lost in the celebrations over universal gay marriage, like abortion, being deemed a right found in the “penumbras and emanations” of the Constitution is the chilling effect the ruling has on religious liberty.  In a telling exchange between the Obama administration’s Solicitor General Donald B. Verrilli, Jr. and Justice Samuel Alito, detailed by Tom Blumer at Newsbusters.com, in which Verrilli admitted that churches could lose their tax exemptions if they refuse to perform gay weddings:

codex alimentarius & UN agenda 21

Hi Tim here again,,, todays post ie posted on Wednesday Aug 6th, 2014 is about why doctors and grocery stores are trying to take certain foods that heal off the shelf, foods like chocolate which is a natural statin that works better than lipator and that is because those democrats that want to eliminate 90% of earth's people for their sick reasons are trying to take away foods that heal as the codex story started with a nazi after Nueremberg court and while in prison figured that he could take over the world for the 3rd reicht by controlling food so he devised codex which is the extremely tightly regulation of over 2,114 items you eat and drink and codex went into effect worldwide Dec 31st, 2012 I think and the tightening of nutritional values designed to make people under nurished and then sick so that the drug companies could sell more drugs and in fact that nazi later became vice pres of Bayer pharmacueticals and then codex merged with UN Agenda 21 which is the plan by democrat eletists to kill 90% of earth's people and the remaining 10% will live on one % of the earth's surface and everyone will be forced to live in a little 256 square foot home and can not leave the community to see the natural treasures of our wonderful GOD created planet while those eletists will be able to travel freely enjoying everything of the planet,,,   those sick in the head democrat eletists want to kill 90% of the people because they believe that the earth can not sustain it's self with all the people on in, an assumption which is false, further added one of the ways those eletists want to kill 90% of everyone is via starvation of nutrients via codex,,,   further added the stores are starting to take soy off the market as soy has all 20 amino acids of which without all 20 your cells and body can not function properly and you get sick and develope cancer,,,   I personally have been affected by this removing of items from the shelves of stores as multiple products that I bought that are very important for natural health have been taken from the shelves even though those items are very popular,,,   further added the food companies get chemicals from the drug companies to put in food that make you addicted to the food and cause you to gain weight which makes you sick which causes you to go to the doctor and purchase drugs from the big pharma folks,,, further added the FDA is a scam as almost all of the FDA board members for a long time have been ex-pharma company employees further added an employee from monsanto was on that board for a while until he got GMOs OKed by the FDA and GMOs are a major cause of cancer and numerous diseases,,,   so DEAR fellow Tea Partiers wake up as that hamburger you have been eating and you are brainwashed to believe you will not get the nutrients you need without meat is a lie to keep you sick as a doctor does not make money unless you are sick and drug companies can't sell you drugs if you are healthy but then if you want to keep on eating that deadly diet thats your right, I choose to be and eat healthily,,,   so until we chat again GOD & JESUS Bless you and America and Israel etc!!!!!!,,,   Tim J Maine sr,,,   it is now 11:00 AM

solve-1.jpg?width=253Well, thank GOD that all our LITTLE insignificant problems as a nation have been resolved. Honestly, they were getting a bit annoying.

You know, thinks like our soaring national debt…all $18 TRILLION dollars of it and rising. Pesky really. But apparently, that’s been fixed so there is NOTHING more to worry about in that regard and may I just add…it’s about damn time.

GAS prices must be on THEIR way down which also means that nobody will have to worry this coming winter about the cost to heat their homes as the cost of electricity must also be dropping.

How’s your 401k doing?

Last week’s nose dive doesn’t mean a thing. Just because the Fed may stop artificially propping up the stock market and driving inflation up but…no worries.

Aren’t you glad that Obamacare finally got fixed? Admit it…YOU getting tired of seeing the same old doctor and having the same old insurance you’ve had for years? I know I was but now…BOY oh BOY…we have new and improved GOVERNMENT mandated health insurance to take the place of that old crap we USED to have and I, as a guy, am just GIDDY that for the first time in my life…MY visit to the gynecologist will finally be covered…after I pay my whopping deductible that is but hey…I’m resting better NOW than I did BEFORE Obamacare and I’m willing to bet YOU are too.

Darn good thing we don’t have any problems down on the southern border huh? Could you IMAGINE what things would be like if it STILL wasn’t secure down there? Why…ILLEGAL ALIENS might still be thinking they could waltz into our country any old time they liked but…not today.

We SOLVED that nuisance problem didn’t we?

agenda 21 south africa

South Africa has it all, rewilding, UNESCO’s Education for All which has dumbed downed an entire population, prohibition to thin out forests which leads to massive flooding, protection of endangered species resulting in private property forfeiture, job promotions and school admissions based upon mindless racial quota systems, policies supportingdepopulation and the installation of a system of living designed to destroy human motivation and the hope for a better future. Yes, Agenda 21 is gobbling up South Africa. And if America is not careful, South Africa’s hopelessness will soon become our national mantra as well.

South Africans Speak Out

In the last several weeks, I have received several communications from people living in South Africa. I have heard from a teacher, a professor, an engineer, a former police officer and a locally elected political official who contacted me through a third party in order to escape detection. All of these individuals found me as the result of my weekly radio show through our live streaming capability or through my radio archives. I come from a generation where I find this kind of international reach for a radio program broadcasted out of my home to be stunning. But even more stunning, is the total destruction of a country and its culture and that is taking place in South Africa. To a person, these people blame their adoption of Agenda 21 policies in one form or another.

POLL:  Do you think the New World Order is a conspiracy theory or the truth?

One of the more popular Agenda 21 policies centers around herding people into extremely cramped and densely populated urban centers. In the United States, we are beginning to witness the introduction of micro apartments in places like San Francisco,New York Cityand Ft. Collins, where the living space does not exceed 500 square feet. However, in South Africa, they have turned their urban areas into a type of prison characterized by filth and squalor and extreme political control.Stack and Pack Cities

Many of the urban residents live behind high walls, there is electrified fencing and the properties are frequently guarded by the South African version of Blackwater.

Local police forces have been decimated and the citizens are living in fear of these privatized security firms who rape and rob many innocent victims in their jurisdiction. These security firms do so with impunity as the private security firms strictly serve the elite and their prime directive is to keep the people in line and in fear of the one ruling political party. Movement of people, especially at night, is tightly controlled. South Africa is becoming a Marxist “papers please” society.  Both educators and person who did not identify his occupation who wrote to me stated that if you are a white male and you are arrested by these private security firms, you have a very high probability of being raped in the holding cell.

Obama Openly Threatens Dictatorship

(Before It's News)

Perhaps if his most recent statement was a one – off oddity, it could be more easily dismissed, but when Barack Obama threatened to a room full of political donors that he is prepared to simply bypass Congress and pass a whole “drawer full of good ideas”, it should give everyone pause.  Remember, this is the same man who is said to have told staff, “I’m good at killing people” according to a just released book by Time Magazine’s Mark Halperin.

(via Washington Times)

President Obama on Friday night continued throwing his entire second-term agenda against the wall to see what sticks, challenging Republicans to join him and support more federal spending, pass immigration reform and tackle other challenges.

But should the GOP stand in the way, the president indicated he’s willing to use executive orders to accomplish his aims.
“… We have a whole drawer full of good ideas. And some of them I can do on my own, administratively.”  LINK

___________________________________

Now by “good ideas” one must assume Barack Obama is talking about such disastrous policies such as Obamacare, that are now slated to kick tens of millions from their existing health plans and prevent them from seeing the doctor of their choice.  Or perhaps he is indicating his attempt to wage an illegal war against Syria?  Or his lessening of sanctions against nuclear bomb building Iran – something he did in secret.  Or his continued opposition to the Keystone Pipeline – something that would create thousands of high paying jobs and be SAFER for the environment than transporting oil via train or barge.  Then there are his TRILLIONS in deficit spending, the explosion of welfare programs, poverty rates rising, etc.

This post needs to be read after reading the last one, "Obama's Saudi Connection."

I didn't write either article.  They weren't written by the same author or for the same audience, but when taken together, it makes better sense.

By Doug Hagmann:

What do the murders of four Americans in Benghazi have to do with the murders of three in a terrorist attack in Boston? Plenty, if you understand what you are seeing in the abstract expressionism of the Jackson Pollock painting is actually a blood trail, and the Pollock painting you are closely studying is an exact reproduction of one of his earlier works. It is a reproduction of a reproduction. We’ve seen this picture before, a bloodstained tangle of lies being sold to us as an artistic masterpiece. But you have to step farther back, not closer to the painting, to actually see the blood trail.

How to Obliterate the Constitution

How To Obliterate The Constitution

What is the most effective way to get rid of the Constitution?  It is really simple, my friends.  You simply ignore it and then depend upon the laziness of the people to do nothing about it.  It was the father of modern conservatism Edmund Burke who is credited with the famous line, “All that it takes for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing.”

Allow me to site the perfect scenario of the destruction of the American experiment in freedom for you.

The first step, of course, is to get elected.  You don’t really have to be a citizen to do this, because no one is going to insist that you prove who you are.  After all you have a social security number (several, in fact) and a drivers license.  You have lived here for years, even been educated in our schools, never mind where, you can just deny the public access to any of your records. Of course it makes absolutely no difference that you received your primary AND secondary education in a school in Indonesia that was admittedly a Muslim institution that proudly supported Jihad against the U.S. and taught that a true Muslim is above the law of the land.  Any land, any country. Allow these Jihadists to gin a significant foothold in many different ways, but avoid offending them at all costs.  You can offend all other segments of the populous, but not the people that have sworn to destroy this land and all of its people. After all you are dealing with a people that are motivated more by greed than by the preservation of the culture that brought this country to the peak of wealth and living standards.  They know that isn’t going to change.  Of course not.  This is AMERICA!  They believe the government will look out for them.

Next you need some really rich and powerful friends along with a few that are neither, but don’t mind getting their hands dirty with a lot of illegal activities.  Of course you have to believe that you are above the law to start.  It really helps to be a pathological Narcissist as three separate renowned psychiatrists have adjudicated Obama to be.  A pathological  Narcissist.  Ok I wanted to know what that really meant so I looked it up on several sites.  The most agreed upon definition I found is this one:

            narcissistic personality disorder

[när′sisis′tik]

a psychiatric diagnosis characterized by an exaggerated sense of self-importance and uniqueness, an abnormal need for attention and admiration, preoccupation with grandiose fantasies concerning the self, and disturbances in interpersonal relationships, usually involving the exploitation of others and a lack of empathy.

Sound familiar?  Yeah, to me too.

Now you need a way to control those idiots that actually think their constitution and desire for adherence to it.  OK  Simple.  You just create a civilian national security force.  As Obama said in a campaign speech in Colorado “We cannot continue to rely on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives that we’ve set,” he said. “We’ve got to have a civilian national security force that’s just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded.”

Now you need to know where the guns are.  In a free society that is willing and able to defend itself against tyranny,  One way to do this is to create the fiction of a  great gun grab as a diversion.  Then you simply offer a compromise solution.  How about we just do background checks on every gun purchase in the land?  That gives the government the name, location, type of gun, reason for purchase and social security number of every gun owner.  Now al you need to do is go pick them up.  You can use a government agency that is under the direct control of the executive branch of government to do this.  No need to bother congress with trivia.

Now that is REALLY scary!  So now we have the DHS with something like 2500 armored personnel carriers and over a billion and a half rounds of ammunition of all types.  I’ve lost count of the number of “assault” weapons they have purchased including the fully automatic kind.  That number seems to be going up daily.  They have put on several thousand new personnel according to many reports.  To me, one sinister aspect of this is they absolutely refuse to explain these purchases even to the congressional oversight committee to which they are responsible.

The final steps are a little more insidious.  You attack the moral fiber of the nation.  You must pick one or two moral issues that have some slight basis in reality.  How about homosexuality?  There is a good choice.  It goes against the holy tenets of the largest group of people, yet can be presented in a “reasonable” light.  Now you have them.  They are morally destroyed and unarmed.  You have violated two or three sections of their beloved constitution blood stained by countless heroes and can do anything you want.

Mission accomplished.

My latest blogs have concerned themselves with the means at our disposal to effect positive changes in the government.  During our discussion today I will be talking about the Tea Parties.  Yeah.  That pluralization is deliberate.

Let’s talk about three things in that regard.

  1. Unity of Purpose
  2. Unity of Core Values
  3. Unity on Issues

There seems to be three tea parties in our country and they differ in kind.

There is The Tea Party Patriots with a web site located here. They claim to be the original and have three basic principles which almost all conservatives can agree on.

Then there is the Tea Party Command Center a somewhat pretentious name and organization that has fifteen “core values”.  All of them good, but they represent a shot gun approach to what is essentially a surgical situation.  Their primary benefit to the movement is their strict adherence to the first amendment and allowing any member to post blogs with any content.  Good site, but you sometimes have to get through the rants to find the good stuff.  Website here

Then there is The Tea Party Express.  The web site is here.  if you look in their “about” page you will see six mission statements.  The second of which is pertinent here:  Reduce the size and intrusiveness of government.  I don’t really know much about this one except I have learned to read the news they put out.  Usually quite trustworthy.

OK.  Let’s talk about that solution I mentioned.

There are actually enough votes out there to stop the liberal agenda if these groups and their spinoffs can just get together on a one or two issue agenda for the very next election.  Yes I am saying we could take over the senate and put some real conservatives in the house.  We could begin to correct the Obama agenda of destruction.

The key (and hardest part) of that program is getting so many people to agree on which is the right path.  Of course I have some suggestions and some reasoning to back them up.

The very FIRST thing is a voter ID law in the key states at the very least.  Let’s take a look at the state of Nevada as a prime example.  Harry Reid has been elected each time after going into election day behind in the poles by a considerable number of points and that number grows with each election.  He also gets elected each time regardless of those polls.  Makes one wonder how many of the dead in that state come back to life for the election.  Or try California.  Yeah, I know lots of illegals voting but that doesn’t account for Feinstein.  A true mental midget and devout Democratic minion and voter, regardless of her constituency.  Pennsylvania:  Mitt Romney actually got ZERO votes in some precincts!  Now that is just not feasible!  Florida – it would seem that many admitted non citizens took pleasure in voting, some more than once, if we are to believe the news.  Legal actions?  None.  Ohio – a democrat poll worker openly admitted to voting twice for Obama and in fact for the entire democratic ticket.  It even made the news! Action taken?  None.  She wasn’t even removed from the list of poll workers for upcoming election.  The list goes on and on and on.

Enforced voter official ID laws will stop many if not most of these abuses.  The left argues that Voter ID will disenfranchise the elderly and others.  Again this is a gross exaggeration.  The complex I live in is almost entirely senor citizen in population and I know of not one person that didn’t vote because of age or infirmity. Voter ID would not change that.  A certified photo copy of your state ID, already a requirement in almost all states, works just fine for the absentee voter.  So just who would it disenfranchise?  Only those unable to vote legally.  So I guess it might truly disenfranchise a lot of the liberal support.  No wonder they oppose it.

The only other thing we need in the immediate future is a term limit amendment.  One of my earlier posts used the figures of one term for the US Senate.  3 terms for the US House.

Don’t misunderstand me here I like the proposed “28th amendment that is all over the emails for the last few years.  I just believe this one is more, much more, necessary in the immediate future..

The only way I see any of this happening is for the various Tea Party factions to get their act together and present a united front for once.  Perhaps firing a couple of their more unanalytical analysts. I honestly believe that if they and we concentrate and I mean CONCENTRATE our resources on just one big thing like the voter ID in most states, we will have a good chance of reversing some of the damage commencing right after the next congress is sworn in.  Think about it.  Please.

UN Agenda 21 the Hidden Fascist in the Living Room

Five days ago an Australian politician, Ann Bressington, came out with a “shocking” revelation of what is going on in her country behind the scenes (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WrdmjBAX0E0). I put “shocking” in quotation marks as this entire UN scheme is not new to anyone who has been paying attention for the past 20 years. For decades researchers and political activists have been warning us all about UN Agenda 21, the Humanity and Habit Treaty and what “sustainability” really means. Today even the left is waking up and there is an organization Democrats Against UN Agenda 21 that has taken up a cause that previously only the John Birch Society on the right has been fighting. People are waking up in droves but as yet the bubbleheads on the right have been deathly silent about it.

The dreaded moniker “conspiracy theory” still hovers over anyone who brings up the UN programs, even though spending only an hour researching it today one finds a plethora of evidence linking everything we see happening in America to these treaties. One cannot ask why federal, state and environmental organizations are working together to depopulate rural areas without coming face to face with these treaties. Also the smart growth movements in every one of our cities, towns and jurisdictions are promoting the same core ideals and plans to be implemented nationwide. Money from a non-profit organization from the UN, ICLEI, is giving funds to any city or municipality that goes along with the Agenda add to that the federal funds being given to cities to implement these changes and you see an interrelated network of programs and players to bring about this drastic change to the American political, economic and social system.

One of the greatest threats that go along with this communitarian agenda is the rise of the Council of Regional Governments. Your state probable has them. No one, not even conservative republicans asked, “what the heck are these councils and why do we need a parallel system of governance that is soaking up so much of the taxes in our communities." These councils are the realization of a program begun under the Nixon administration but were fought and eliminated by the republicans and Blue Dog democrats back then.  They were seen rightfully for what they were, a sure fire step into socialism. These councils, also known in Russian as Soviets, are a parallel system of government staffed by unelected bureaucrats who are taking over more and more of the functions of government. In some cases they are limiting our access to our elected government officials. They represent an ingenious ploy that was used by the Nazis before they gained power in Germany.  While they were yet weak and didnt have any political authority, the Nazis put into place parallel government systems that were ready upon their achieving power to be activated and to replace the existing democratic government system. While no one was looking or paying attention these councils propped up everywhere. Here in CA where I live they are the defacto shadow government gaining more and more power every year.

While patriots slept and their chosen guardians were pointing them in the wrong direction, this vast interwoven conspiracy has been going on under our very noses for decades. The few Cassandras out there crying for us not to bring their Trojan horse into our city went unheeded for far too long.  The Tea Party is an organization with a vast army at the ready that only needs to be pointed in the right direction. Uniting and working with such organizations as Democrats Against Agenda 21 and others, a vast united front against UN tyranny can be established. The left likes to say, work locally and think globally, and that is what we have to do, work locally to end UN interference with our political, social and economic system, act globally to shut the UN down. If we feel we can’t get our elected official in Washington to do what we want, we sure as heck can get our local elected officials to do so. Our town halls, our city councils and our local boards are ours; they are there to do the “will of the people,” not the will of unelected radicals. Sitting right there at the city council board meeting and all of the local political boards is our opportunity to end Agenda 21, the smart growth sustainable communitarian nonsense designed to radically change our nation.  Here is where the real battle lies, for if we win the local battle the larger battle in Washington is far more easily won, but if we won in Washington it would not change the local takeover of the American system as we have never had a Republican president willing or knowledgeable enough to unsign and pull us out of any UN treaty or rescind executive orders that help implement the program.

You are the political militia of today, and your first and urgent task is to throw the degenerate socialist UN tea into the bay. Gather as a mighty force and organize to win this most important battle, the battle on the local home front. Every win there helps us win nationally and then globally. UN Agenda 21 is not a conspiracy theory, it is a conspiracy fact! United as one with a unified mission, to save America from the neo-communist hoards, we can win to victory! If we slothfully or ignorantly sleep another 10 years it will be too late.  This is the generation that will either Win America back, or lose America forever.

A recent article in Washington Post appeared with the innocuous title, “What we need: Smarter growth plans.” The author is Roger K. Lewis, a practicing architect and professor emeritus at the University of Maryland. Who can possibly object to “smarter growth plans?” Except that “smart growth plans” is the euphemism used by the United Nations for its Agenda 21, a direct assault on private property rights and American sovereignty.

Roger K. Lewis suggests that “smart growth” was designed by market forces driven by “green building.” He makes no mention of Agenda 21 and ICLEI objectives and intrusion into our society since the early 1970s or the agreement signed in 1992 that went under the radar of the American people’s understanding of the complex negative ramifications for our economy and our liberties.

I have not met Americans who think, “sprawl-producing planning, zoning and mortgage templates are obsolete” as the author claims. Would Americans willingly give up their land and homes with or without compensation in exchange for a move to a densely populated high-rise, with no parking garages, no access to cars, like rats fenced in a grey concrete maze?

Communist “social engineering” confiscated land and homes for agriculture. People were forced to move into many-storied, tiny cinder block apartments without any compensation for the land or homes bulldozed. They were forced to commute by bicycles or public transit.

Lewis deems subdivision developments with low-density, detached, single-family homes as outdated. He calls the areas educationally dysfunctional and unsafe. American suburbia was built, he says, on four assumptions that have lost validity today:

  1. Unlimited supply of land
  2. Inexpensive and inexhaustible supply of oil
  3. Homogenous land use
  4. The American dream to own and inhabit a mortgaged house.

I am not sure on what research Lewis based his conclusions, but we have huge domestic oil reserves if permits were issued to drill. We also have a vast land mass. Some areas have 70 or less inhabitants per square mile. Americans still want to own their own home and want to live in a homogeneous community of other homeowners. Just because power hungry bureaucrats at the United Nations have decided to “preserve” land and the environment for the future of the planet and its animals, neglecting the future of humans, does not mean Americans agree to this vision.

Much of America’s land cannot and should not be developed.” Who are you to decide for us, Mr. Lewis and why? Last time I checked we were free people who determined their own life choices.

“Dependency on oil and limitless use of cars pose daunting environmental, economic, and geopolitical problems.” Who is going to decide the limit to our car use? Is it going to be done by law, more regulations, or executive order?

A handful of environmentalists, the EPA, and the United Nation’s dictators, using faulty debunked data from the University of East Anglia or phony research are trying to separate Americans from their land use, cars, trucks, and the open-wide roads.

Lewis continues his Agenda 21 fallacy. “The traditional nuclear family—mom, dad, two to three kids and one or two pets—is now a minority of America’s households.” I am positive that this man is not describing America that I know and see every day. His statements continue, “Today a majority of households are people, young or old, living alone; couples or sets of unrelated individuals of various ethnicities, ages and tastes.”

Agenda 21 and Mr. Lewis suggest building high-rises in “designated areas within municipalities where new development and re-development is feasible and desirable.Affordable housing is a priority and so are environmental standards.

It is obvious that “smart growth plans” or Agenda 21 designed by United Nations will affect our future choices in how we live and where. EPA will be involved and will twist the arms of those who do not adopt “smart growth plans,” denying grants to states and cities and levying other penalties. By the time Americans realize the implications of Agenda 21“smart growth, they will lose their homes and lands with no compensation. At least people who lost property under Eminent Domain have been compensated.

The International Council for Local Environmental Initiatives (ICLEI) is a conglomerate of 600 national, regional, and local government associations who promote “sustainable development” and protection of the environment because of man-made global warming that does not exist.

“Sustainable development” is the United Nations effort to contain and limit economic development in developed countries and thus control population growth. It is “sustainable de-growth,” plain and simple. The focus is “low-income agriculture” and to set limits on the developed world.

United Nations and its affiliates believe that first world countries polluted significantly during their development while urging third world countries to reduce pollution thus impeding their growth. Implementation of“sustainable development” would revert our society to a pre-modern lifestyle.

ICLEI wants to keep the environment as pristine as possible through “ideal-seeking behavior.” These euphemisms are not clearly defined in terms of what or who will evaluate or set the standards for this “ideal-seeking behavior.”

Agenda 21 sets up the global infrastructure to manage, count, and control assets. It is not concerned with protecting the environment or the world’s resources. Agenda 21 wants change from old sector-centered ways of doing business to new approaches. The “desired future state” should be to pursue “economic prosperity, environmental quality, and social equity.”

“Social equity” is the new euphemism for “social justice” the Marxists in our government have been using a lot lately. Who gave them the authority and the mandate to initiate such change? I do not remember the American people being asked through a referendum whether we wanted our way of life to be fundamentally changed according to mandates set up by the United Nations. How will population growth control be achieved in order to protect the precious environment?

There are four tiers to UN’s “sustainable development” plan:

  1. Environmental sustainability
  2. Economic sustainability
  3. Socio-political sustainability
  4. Cultural diversity.

In 2001 UNESCO, in The Universal Declaration on Cultural Diversity, stated that cultural diversity is as important as biodiversity in the sense of a more satisfactory, intellectual, emotional, moral, and spiritual existence. Who is to decide the level and quality of the population’s satisfaction, intellectual, emotional, moral, and spiritual existence? Human needs must be met while preserving the environment for the future. Again, who will decide what our needs are in order to preserve the future?

In February 2011 in Nairobi, Kenya, ICLEI attended a United Nations conference as representative of the interests of local governments. “In collaboration with partners such as UN-Habitat, Cities Alliance and ICLEI, UNEP (United Nations Environmental Protection) is working to make cities more livable, better prepared for the multiple environmental challenges they are facing, as well as giving them a stronger voice in the international climate negotiations.” Last time I checked, global warming has been debunked as a hoax and UN rapidly changed its name to climate change, continuing the attempt to fleece developed countries. In addition, who decides these international climate negotiations and why? What are we negotiating? Carbon credits?

In October 2009 in Bangkok, ICLEI stated, “local governments are offering national governments our partnership in the fight against climate change.” ICLEI wants local governments to collaborate with national governments to fight against climate change, the very change that has been scientifically debunked.

Article I, Section 10 of the Constitution states clearly, “No State shall enter into any Treaty, Alliance, or Confederation, …No State shall,… enter into an Agreement or Compact with another State or with a foreign power…” The counties and cities that are members of ICLEI in the U.S. through its national organization are attempting to implement foreign policy, which our Constitution forbids. What mayors and municipal governments are doing is plain unconstitutional.

“Mayors and local governments set forth the following commitments to implement sub-national, national, and international frameworks by providing resources, authority, and mandate to carry forward climate protection roles and responsibilities.”

There is no law or act of Congress to authorize the aiding and abetting of foreign policy globalism by state and local governments. We have to protect our sovereignty by banning cities and counties to be members of ICLEI, an organization that promotes United Nation’s Agenda 21/“smart growth” which is detrimental to American economic interests, liberty, and sovereignty.

“No State shall enter into any Treaty, Alliance, or Confederation; grant letters of Marque and Reprisal; coin Money; emit Bills of Credit; make any Thing but gold and silver Coin a Tender in Payment of Debts; pass any Bill of Attainder, ex post facto law, or Law impairing the obligation of Contracts, or grant any Title of Nobility.” -Article 1, Section 10, The United States Constitution. That Section of the Constitution prevents membership of states, cities and counties in an organization called International Council of Local Environmental Initiatives (ICLEI)…

But I’ll bet many of you reading this live in a city, town, or county that belongs to ICLEI because ICLEI has more than 600 active members throughout the United States. Those members are cities, counties, and states, not individuals. Westchester County is a member of ICLEI. Think we have a problem? Santorum Endorses Akin!

Rick Santorum and his organization Patriot Voices has officially stepped forward to endorse Todd Akin in his bid for the senate seat form Missouri.

In a statement sent out to supporters, Mr. Santorum said:

"If Republicans are to win back the Senate and stop President Obama's liberal agenda, we must defeat Senator Claire McCaskill in Missouri.  Her support of President Obama's job-killing, big-spending policies are sending our country into an economic abyss.  And her passionate support of ObamaCare is ensuring healthcare costs go up while quality of care goes down.  Simply put, we cannot afford six more years of Senator McCaskill.

"ap_todd_akins_thg_120822_wn.jpgTodd Akin is a principled conservative who is committed to winning and fighting for freedom in the U.S. Senate. Todd will work to stop reckless spending, stop the out of control debt, repeal the government takeover of healthcare, support our military and defend life at every stage.

"We support Todd Akin and hope freedom-loving Americans in Missouri and around the country will join us so we can save our country from fiscal collapse."

In a fundraising email Wednesday, Akin said the Santorum and DeMint endorsements "are huge for our campaign and show that real conservative leaders are stepping up, because they know how important it is that we defeat Claire McCaskill and take back the Senate."

NEW UN-BACKED GUIDELINES AIM TO PROTECT RIGHTS TO LAND, FISHERIES AND FORESTS

A United Nations-backed committee today endorsed a set of far-reaching global guidelines to help governments protect the rights of people, especially the poor, to own or access land, forests and fisheries.

“Giving poor and vulnerable people secure and equitable rights to access land and other natural resources is a key condition in the fight against hunger and poverty,” said the Director-General of the UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), José Graziano da Silva.

“It is a historic breakthrough that countries have agreed on these first-ever global land tenure guidelines,” he added. “We now have a shared vision. It’s a starting point that will help improve the often dire situation of the hungry and poor.”

The new Voluntary Guidelines on the Responsible Governance of Tenure of Land, Fisheries and Forests in the Context of National Food Security was adopted by the Committee on World Food Security (CFS) – the leading global platform for discussions on food security issues – in Rome earlier on Friday.

Among the issues dealt with in the guidelines is the so-called ‘land-grabbing’ phenomenon, according to a news release issued by FAO. It recommends that safeguards be put in place to protect tenure rights of local people from risks that could arise from large-scale land acquisitions, and also to protect human rights, livelihoods, food security and the environment.

The guidelines also address a wide range of other issues such as recognition and protection of legitimate tenure rights, even under informal systems; best practices for registration and transfer of tenure rights; making sure that tenure administrative systems are accessible and affordable; managing expropriations and restitution of land to people who were forcibly evicted in the past; and the rights of indigenous communities.

“Some of the issues addressed by the Voluntary Guidelines go back centuries even. The fact that these guidelines tackle those entrenched issues as well as newer concerns is what makes them so significant,” said Mr. Graziano da Silva.

He added that FAO stands ready to provide support and assistance to countries in adapting and implementing the guidelines. The agency will now develop a series of technical handbooks designed to help countries adapt the guidelines to their local contexts and carry them out, as well as provide targeted technical assistance to governments.

The guidelines are based on a consultation process started by FAO in 2009 and then finalized through CFS-led intergovernmental negotiations that included the participation of government officials, civil society organizations, private sector representatives, international organizations and academics."

Let Government Brainwash Tots (LGBT)

Let Government Brainwash Tots (LGBT)

By Karl Priest 7 December 2011

In my book (see below) I disclose the sneaky tactics used by homosexuals to incorporate their agenda into the minds of public school students.  They are relentless and our taxes are being used to help them.

At http://www.stopbullying.gov/ there are three main features:

Cyberbullying, Webisodes for Kids, and LGBT with a rainbow button over the caption:

“If you experience bullying or violence because you are lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender (LGBT) youth, or others think you are, there are resources available to help you.”

The “Resources and References” (http://www.stopbullying.gov/references/online_resources/index.html) for the entire site—not under the LGBT button feature the LGBT category.  Of 24 sources, 7 (29%) are LGBT.  The LGBT page has a sidebar with more resources including a message from Resident B. Obama.

Even though diversions such as “cyber bullying” are thrown in only someone educated in the public school system cannot see that this government site is devoted to perverted sexual lifestyles.

From Protester Voices—The 1974 Textbook Tea Party. pgs.329-330

Near the end of my career, I attended a Faculty Senate session for training in prevention of student bullying. The session was promoted by the office of the West Virginia Attorney General. An Attorney General’s office staff member was present to assist in conducting the meeting. The school principal had recruited the two faculty sponsors of the FCA as the teacher liaisons for the anti-bullying policy. The two teachers were unaware of what was under way. Early in the meeting it became obvious that the goal was to promote homosexuality. I created somewhat of a stir by pointing out the absurdity of deviant sexual behavior being considered normal. Soon thereafter, the two sponsors resigned from leading the program and the West Virginia Family Foundation fought the slick attempts to place this agenda in schools statewide.  I cannot say for sure that there was a connection, but the West Virginia Attorney General cooperated with an evolutionist extremist in an attempt to have me arrested (http://www.insectman.us/testimony/henke.htm) a few years later.

Incidents like that stealth Faculty Senate meeting are not going to be noticed by parents. It is impossible for parents to monitor what is happening in the public schools. In fact, the word “public” is not appropriate for describing the schools. They are “government” schools and they are doing a great job of instituting the government’s ungodly educational goals.

The Parklands
by: Bob Hill

Kentuckians can enjoy 4,000 acres of parks around Louisville

The pride, history, and diverse geography of Kentucky have long been on broad display in its many parks.

Its state parks stretch from the Big Sandy River to the Mississippi River, celebrating the state’s archeological treasures, its Civil War heritage, and its green mountains, water-carved caves, and heavily used lakes.

Its national parks and park sites bring to focus the role of Kentucky in American history: Cumberland Gap National Historical Park, the Abraham Lincoln Birthplace National Historical Park; the Trail of Tears National Historic Trail.

Louisville—the state’s population center—has also enjoyed a strong legacy of parks, including those created by Frederick Law Olmsted that have enriched the city for more than 100 years.

That legacy is now being extended with an almost 4,000-acre, more than 20-mile-long park system being created along Floyds Fork Creek on the eastern and southern edge of Louisville running from Shelbyville Road to Bardstown Road.

It will stretch along meandering Floyds Fork through a still mostly open area of Louisville that was ripe for development, and will become part of a larger, 100-mile “loop” of parks around Louisville.

The new park—actually a series of four interconnected parks—will continue to unite Kentucky’s woods, water, and vibrant history in a more than $100 million recreational and preservation project that’s been recognized as one of the most creative in the United States.

Called The Parklands of Floyds Fork, and described as an outdoor classroom rich with natural history, the system is being created through a public-private effort of 21st Century Parks, a land trust called Future Fund, and Louisville Metro Parks. It was aided by $38 million in federal funding secured by Sen. Mitch McConnell and a $10 million pledge from Kentucky Gov. Steve Beshear. More than $50 million in private donations have also been raised.

The four parks will include 100 miles of new trails and overlooks for hiking, biking, and horseback riding, and a scenic park drive for those who want to stay in their cars.

Staff members and park rangers will guide people to more than 20 miles of canoe trails, playgrounds, dog parks, fishing sites, historic homes, old growth forest, designated natural areas, and athletic fields.

Standing on one of the ridges above Floyds Fork, the long valley spreads out below, leaving little sense there are more than 1 million people living within 60 miles—or that 200-year-old beech trees are rising skyward just a few miles away.

And tying the Kentucky historical knot, Floyds Fork was named for John Floyd, a 1770s Kentucky pioneer and surveyor who fought with Daniel Boone and George Rogers Clark, and became a Revolutionary War privateer and one of Kentucky’s early military, judicial, and civic leaders before being killed by Indians in 1783 while on a trip to a salt lick near what is now Shepherdsville.

Birth of a Dream
Daniel Jones, chairman and chief executive officer of 21st Century Parks, says the project was born 10 years ago when the Olmsted Parks Conservancy invited community leaders to a meeting to discuss the strategic value of parks.

Included in the meeting were Brigid Sullivan, Louisville Metro Parks director, Bill Juckett, chairman of the Louisville Olmsted Parks Conservancy, and David Jones, Humana co-founder and Dan Jones’ father.

“They asked many questions that I don’t remember,” says Dan Jones, “but one stuck with me: ‘What should our generation be doing that would have the same impact as the Olmsted Parks?’

“After thinking about it for a few months, I decided that we should do what they did: get out ahead of the development curve and buy enough land to build a systemic, world-class addition to Louisville’s public park system.”

Jones says he asked Dan Church of Louisville’s Bravura design firm to create a “mini-master plan” to outline the possibilities and challenges of such a park—a plan funded by a $35,000 grant from the C.E. & S. Foundation. The results were encouraging.

“It looked doable to me,” Jones says.

He took that plan to his father, who has long been involved in civic projects in Louisville, and his father arranged a meeting between then Louisville Mayor Jerry Abramson and his advisor Mary Lou Northern.

It all came together when Dan Jones met with Steve Henry, former Kentucky lieutenant governor and president of the nonprofit Future Fund, which since the early 1990s had been buying land along Floyds Fork to preserve and protect it. Those purchases had been funded, in part, by the Jones family, the Humana Foundation, Mary Bingham, and Steve Henry.

“We began to build a partnership there as well,” says Jones of Henry, adding that his initiative to buy land along Floyds Fork was a key to the eventual success of creating the park.

Park momentum grew from there. Dan Jones organized regular meetings with the mayor’s office, Future Fund, and Metro Parks—and in 2004 he formed 21st Century Parks.

The Philadelphia landscape architecture firm Wallace Roberts & Todd created a master plan that Louisville’s Bravura firm helped shape and implement.

Within seven years almost 70 parcels of land—ranging from a few acres to almost 600 acres—would be added to The Parklands mosaic; a map in 21st Century Parks’ Main Street office would show the piecework progress, and what parcels were needed next.

Gradually the pieces all came together: the planning, the fund-raising, the initial planting of trees, the building of new stone walls, the renovation of historic sites.

Although only partly open, the park has already been honored with three awards: The Merit Award from the National Park Service, an Honor Award in Analysis and Planning from the American Society of Landscape Architects, and the 2010 Place Maker Award from the Foundation for Landscape Studies.

With its Creekside Playground and Sprayground for kids already opened at the north edge of the park this spring—and its full completion date set for 2015—the new system will soon be an integral part of the Kentucky landscape.

As The Parklands of Floyds Fork Web site—go to www.theparklands.org—proudly proclaims: “This is not a park. This is a work of art created from oak, hickory, limestone, and shale…This is gonna be unique.”

Bob Hill’s Floyds Fork Journal serves as an ongoing conversation about the people who first cleared and settled that land, in a sense preserving it for us today as The Parklands. You can read his journal online at www.theparklands.org/category/bob-hills-journal.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

WHAT THE VISITOR WILL FIND

The four interconnected parks of The Parklands of Floyds Fork will run from Shelbyville Road to Bardstown Road—each with a specific name and mission.

The northern-most park—called Beckley Creek Park and created partly from the William F. Miles Park—will offer a canoe launch, walking trails, fishing ponds, community gardens, picnic pavilions, a splash park where children can play in the hot summer sun, a Gheens Foundation Lodge, and the 3,500-square-foot PNC Achievement Center for Education and Interpretation, which will provide classrooms, visitor interpretation, and displays.

Blending modern and traditional architecture, the new structures at the site will include black-barn wood siding, stone walls, and exposed wood ceilings. The nearby 20-acre Egg Lawn, built in the shape of a hen’s egg and designed as a Floyds Fork Great Lawn, will be used for many athletic, kite flying, and community events.
Directly south of Beckley Creek Park will be Pope Lick Park, which will have canoe launches, a retreat house, a long system of trails and sports fields—along with a view of the Pope Lick railroad trestle that arches over the land.

Floyds Fork will then wander through Turkey Run Park, which will provide a renovated silo and barn, scenic overlooks, extensive horse, hiking, and mountain biking trails, and the historic Stout House built on property once owned by Daniel Boone’s brother, Squire Boone.

Broad Run Park, the southern-most in the chain and very close to Bardstown Road, will display waterfalls, dramatic vistas, a picnic pavilion, a long meadow, and—completing the vision, if not the plan—a children’s playground and splash park similar to the ones at the north edge of the park off Shelbyville Road, almost 22 miles away.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

IMPLEMENTING THE PLAN

So you’re looking at a map of more than 20 miles of diverse but interconnected land along a stream that zigzags its way across the Louisville landscape, you’ve been handed a general plan—and your mission is examine every acre of the land and discover what is interesting about it—stone walls, big trees, notable ecological communities, waterfalls, cliffs. You must find the “landscape stories” that will help you “read” the landscape to determine its land-use history.

Where do you begin?
For Michael Gaige, natural areas manager for The Parklands of Floyds Fork, it began by literally walking, riding, or paddling a canoe over and through every acre. “All my work here,” he says, “was built on wandering.”

Gaige, a student of geology, knew The Parklands were actually first formed about 450 million years ago when much of Kentucky was below a shallow tropical sea south of the equator.

As the earth’s surface literally shifted and heaved—and an incalculable number of brachiopods, bryozoans, and corals died—calcium-rich limestone layers formed, the same layers we now see in the fossil-rich bottoms of Floyds Fork.

Over tens of millions of years, Gaige says, as rainwater steadily washed over the soft limestone, a river was formed, a long valley was created, and a new park where visitors will soon come to learn of those fossils was born.

“The area is unique,” says Gaige, who already leads tours of those fossil beds, “in that it captures a large chunk of geologic history in a small area.”

Gaige passed on his knowledge of the land and its ancient history to Parks Director Scott Martin and the design team, who over long meetings with many of the park developers had to shape all the master planning, fact finding, and input into four continual parks.

Martin says that along with having great planning, the work required large amounts of public input; the park will preserve thousands of acres of land, but it will also lead hundreds of thousands of visitors a year into the area, so some conflict seemed inevitable.

One vital key after that, he said, was to get all those various ideas and pieces connected: “The power of this park lies in its connectivity.”

A second key was to let the geographic and natural areas be your guide, and, finally, take a good look at what has already been developed in the area in the way of roads, houses, and infrastructure, and see how that relates to the park as well.

Martin says building a park of this scope and scale in a Floyds Fork setting is very unusual. “There has been a lot of open space preservation with land already set aside, but it’s very rare in our country’s history to plan one of this size.

“It’s rarer still to actually have it executed.”

By Rachel Alexander
7/2/2011

Americans are so focused on Congress and Obama at the federal
level of government right now that most are overlooking the socialism
creeping in at the local level through Agenda 21.
It is easy to overlook local government since people are saturated
with too much information in the internet age. Compounding this is
the fact that Agenda 21 is a dull topic, and it becomes understandable
how it has been able to fly mostly under the radar since 1992, slowly
working its way into our cities and counties.

Agenda 21, which reportedly means an agenda for the 21st century,
is a United Nations program launched in 1992 for the vague purpose
of achieving global "sustainable development."
Congress never approved Agenda 21, although Presidents Obama,
Clinton and George H.W. Bush have all signed Executive Orders
implementing it. 178 other world leaders agreed to it in 1992 at the
Rio Summit. Since then, the U.N. has mostly bypassed national
governments, using Agenda 21’s International Council of Local
Environmental Initiatives (“ICLEI”) to make agreements directly with
local governments. ICLEI's U.S. presence has grown to include
agreements with over 600 cities, towns and counties here, which
are now copying the land use plans prescribed in Agenda 21.
Some conservatives are trying to attract attention to Agenda 21 by
labeling it a secret conspiracy to create a one world government.
While that will wake some people up, it will turn off others.
It does not matter whether it is a conspiracy or not.
There are people on the left side of the political spectrum - who
may even believe they have good intentions - working together to
spread their vision for society worldwide. Whether they meet in
dark rooms or openly in public meetings is irrelevant; they are having
great success convincing local governments in the U.S. to adopt their
socialist and extreme environmentalist programs under the guise of
feel-good buzz words. Left wing billionaire George Soros's Open Society
has provided $2,147,415 to ICLEI. Van Jones' Green for All and the
Tides Foundations’ Apollo Alliance are also reportedly ICLEI contributors.

Agenda 21 ostensibly seeks to promote "sustainability" (the latest
revisionist word for "environmentalism," since Americans have learned too
many negative things about environmentalism). "Sustainability" is an
amorphous concept that can be interpreted to an extreme degree that
would regulate and restrict many parts of our lives.
When will the level of carbon emissions be low enough?
How much must we reduce our consumption of fossil fuels?
Preserving the environment is a dubious science, and what steps are
really necessary to protect the environment are anyone's guess.
Agenda 21 promotes European socialist goals that will erode our freedoms
and liberties. Most of its vague, lofty sounding phrases cause the average
person’s eyes to glaze over, making it easier to sneak into our communities.
The environmentalist goals include atmospheric protection, combating pollution,
protecting fragile environments, and conserving biological diversity.
Agenda 21 goes well beyond environmentalism. Other broad goals include
combating poverty, changing consumption patterns, promoting health, and
reducing private property ownership, single-family homes, private car ownership,
and privately owned farms. It seeks to cram people into small livable areas and
institute population control.
There is a plan for “social justice” that will redistribute wealth.

Once these vague, overly broad goals are adopted, they are being interpreted
to allow massive amounts of new, overreaching regulations.
Joyce Morrison from Eco-logic Powerhouse says Agenda 21 is so broad it will
affect the way we "live, eat, learn and communicate."
Berit Kjos, author of Brave New Schools, warns that Agenda 21 "regulation would
severely limit water, electricity, and transportation - even deny human access to
our most treasured wilderness areas, it would monitor all lands and people.
No one would be free from the watchful eye of the new global tracking and
information system." Even one of the authors of Agenda 21 has admitted that it "…
calls for specific changes in the activities of all people…"
These steps are already being enacted little by little at the local levels.

Since the U.S. is one of the wealthiest countries in the world, and uses more energy
than any other country, it stands to lose the most from environmental regulations.
The goal of "sustainability," which comes down to using government to heavy-
handedly accomplish vague goals of caring for the earth, goes contrary to our
free market capitalism. Even more unfair, struggling third world countries and
communist countries that cannot financially afford to comply with the onerous
environmental regulations will continue their high levels of fossil fuel consumption,
and the U.S. will be forced by U.N. regulators to conserve even more to make up
for those countries.

Obama signed Executive Order 13575 earlier this month, establishing a
"White House Rural Council" prescribed by Agenda 21. The amount of
government Obama has directed to administer this is staggering.
Obama committed thousands of federal employees in 25 federal agencies
to promote sustainability in rural areas, completely bypassing Congressional
approval. Some of these agencies are unrelated to rural areas. The agencies
will entice local communities into adopting Agenda 21 programs by providing
them millions of dollars in grants.
Dr. Ileana Johnson Paugh writing for Canada Free Press analyzed the order
and wrote, "it establishes unchecked federal control into rural America in
education, food supply, land use, water use, recreation, property, energy,
and the lives of 16% of the U.S. population."

Tea party groups, talk show host Glenn Beck, and organizations like
Freedom Advocates, Catholic Investigative Agency and Sovereignty International
are working hard to expose Agenda 21, but there is only so much a few can do.
Some local governments have become aware of what Agenda 21 is really about
and dropped out of ICLEI this year. The Carroll County Board of Commissioners,
Montgomery County in Pennsylvania and the city of Edmond, Oklahoma have
all withdrawn their participation.

It will be difficult to defeat Agenda 21 because it requires changing the attitudes
of over 600 separate localities across the U.S. Ideally, a conservative president
could roll back the executive orders implementing it, but considering Republican
President H.W. Bush was a disappointment in this area that may be too much
to hope for. If Republicans take over Congress they could challenge the huge
power grab Obama made with Executive Order 13575 and ban Agenda 21
in the U.S. For now, local activists must champion this issue, much like
Texans for Accountable Government has done, educating local boards and
commissions and serving on them. Agenda 21 is a tedious and overwhelming
topic, and until it can be explained in an easy-to-understand way that interests
the average American, it will be tough to beat back.
