Filibuster

I just read an interesting article re the filibuster use in congress.  The Constitution says nothing about this "rule" created in the senate.  It is designed to allow the minority to prevent the majority from passed  a law or approving a person for a public office.   This makes no sense.  The majority has always been  the deciding factor in this country.    The senate should stop allowing this devise. It has only led to a dysfunctional congress.

Catholic vote

Exit polling indicated that 45% of Catholics voted for Hillary Clinton. Didn't they know her position on abortion ? Or her being involved in some 25 scandals in her life ? Or that her involvement in crimes, lying, intimidation, etc. is morally wrong. These Catholics may not have cared for Trump, but to vote for someone totally against the teachings of the Catholic church is very hard to understand. I may assume then that they place the political party FIRST, the candidate's personal views SECOND, and the moral teachings of the church LAST.

The death penalty

I spent two years of my life in the U.S.Army.  About 70% of that time I was under strict rules and regulations of the army.   That two years seemed like 5 years to me.  To be without freedom to move about and do what I wanted to do was hard.

The backers of NO death penalty, life sentences, I believe, are wrong.   They have never had their freedom to move about and do their thing, stopped.  They only want that convicted person to be removed from society.

But I believe to jail someone for the rest of their lives is very inhumane.   That is why I think a painless form of execution is the more just and humane way to deal with the convicted person.

I realize that most of the no-death penalty people just want the convicted person to suffer for their misdeeds.  Is a lifetime of suffering right ?

Just ask a cancer patient.

The plight of Black voters

Black people themselves put the yoke of "slavery" upon their own necks.

All the major cities in America have their control in the hands of the Liberal Democrats. Control of the Black people by the Democrats is essential to maintain the control of their political domains. Control of Black people...votes by these people...is required to keep political control n the hands of these same Liberal Democrats.

Approximately 90% of Black votes is cast for Democrats.  In a city like Chicago there is no other alternative... no Republican or others running for office.

So,Black voters bring this situation upon themselves. Once total control is achieved by the Democrats, the inner cities will never change, and the lives of it's people also.

A sad situation.

The Voice

Black Pride

Pride in accomplishments and family is one thing.   There is no pride in receiving hand-outs from the government.

Politicians found out a long time ago that by giving hand-outs to Blacks they could actually control their actions...at the voting booth, without changing the social order.  The Democrats could have their cake and eat it too.  And ever so more today with Latinos added to the basket.   It  has all been done for the sake of building a vote-gathering political party.  Get enough of these voters and you cannot loose an election.  It is called Socialism.

Dissalutioned Democrats

Many Democrats are dissatisfied with Hillary Clinton.  Same as it would be for a Republican if their presidential candidate turned out to be a big crook . Who do you turn to ?   Don't vote ?   Support Joe Biden who is too old and is just not with-it for the tough job ?   Or look to the candidate in the other party and the assets of that person.   True, 35% of the Democrats would not, could not bring themselves to vote for a Republican,no matter who.  This mentality is very disappointing and very socialistic.   The main point  in this year's election is to save America from becoming a European-style country and govt.  T o Democrats-   a vote for Trump can be made in secret.

Patton and Trump

George Patton's 7th Army command reportedly never lost a battle.  Yet he was chastised strongly for slapping a soldier.    Considering the facts involved it appears the Army High Command just did not like Patton's overall disposition and personality and wanted to put him in his place.

Sounds like the Republican elite and establishment's reactions to Donald Trump, another winner.

Beware of pollsters

The reliability of polling companies and others should be highly suspect.   The recent "national " poll I just read was by the ABCNews and Washington Post.   Very conservative organizations !  They had Hillary ahead of Trump by about 12%.    Another poll result had Trump ahead of Hillary in a state.

It seems to me to question and maby disbelieve any poll by- 1. Any university, 2. Any newspaper,3. Just who were called ?   Call 1000 people and pose the question a certain way, call only people  in a big city as opposed to farmland people, and your results will be very different.

And the people called may lie.  They may not vote.   Giving an opinion of like does not mean the vote will ever be cast.

Therefore....disbelieve most polls.

Conservative Tea Party ?

The Republican nominee for president will be Donald Trump.  Many so-called conservatives vow not to back him.   They say he is not a true conservative.   Congress has had the republican reigns for a long time now and has done nothing but back Obama ?    These are the same "conservatives" who say Trump is nor conservative enough.    They are all hypocrites !    But also, where is the Tea Party in all this ?  They have not come out in favor of Trump .  Why ?   He favors free trade, smaller govt, balanced budget, Limited immigration, more jobs, etc.  The real American way !     I have not paid my T/P dues yet and may not if the Tea Party joins all the RINO's and not recognize Mr.Trump.

Trunp and Hillary

Reasons I favor Trump for president-

He is not a lawyer

Has independent financing. Not bought by lobbyists

Really knows the business world

Is an excellent family man

Is a political outsider

Tells it like it is.

Reasons I do not favor Hillary for president -

She is a lawyer.  Was once dis-barred

Has become a multi-millionaire due to lobbyists and contributors

Is anti-business by taking after Obama

Has backed her husband's sexual exploits

Has always been a political insider

Has a long history of lying

Why do they hate Trump ?

I find it hard to understand the liberal demos when they find Mr.Trump the worst candidate this country has ever had.   Some say he is not smart enough.  That he is anti-women.   That he is anti-abortion.

Mr.Obama went to Columbia Univ. and they will not release his grades and achievements (if any).

Mr.Obama spent less than one term in congress before being elected..(With no achievements)

In the last 7+ years Mr.Obama has shredded our Constitution.

Mr.Obama is very pro-abortion (the murdering of babies).

Etc.Etc.

But the liberals find no problems anywhere with him.

Mr.Trump is a very smart businessman. Not a lawyer Not a politician   He loves women (He married several).  He has great, lovable children.

We need exactly this type of person to run this country..
