Get involved in politics it can be fun.

The Democratic and Republican establishment’s worst nightmare is quietly becoming a reality. Mark Clayton has won the Democratic nomination to run against Tennessee Republican Senator Bob Corker in the fall election.

Mr. Clayton’s credentials are: He wants to preserve American sovereignty by not joining the North American Union. Preserve individual privacy by opposing a National Identification card. Preserving free trade in the hands of the people instead of a monopoly in the hands of international corporations under NAFTA. Preserving and protecting our traditional family values, the Boy Scouts, and our public schools from the radical onslaught of an atheist, homosexual, feminist, liberal, socialist, communist coalition. Protect our service personal from Islamic terrorists hiding in the service. Strict adherence to the U.S. Constitution. Keeping the country from turning into “AN ORWELLIAN SUPER STATE.

It took the Tennessee Democratic Party establishment just 24 hours to disavow him.

So far it has amused the Republican establishment but it is about to become their worst nightmare. You now have a Democratic candidate that is five times more conservative then the Republican Senator Corker. We know that yellow dog Democrats will vote Democrat come hell or high water. The traditional state rights, family values, red neck individualist Democrats will vote Democrat. If the tea party members, independents, 9-12ers, Ron Paulers’, Libertarians, family values, fiscal conservatives and all others who have vowed they would not vote for Senator Corker decide to vote Democratic, Mark Clayton could become our next Senator. Should this happen there would be a stampede of Democrats rushing to embrace the same values Mark Clayton does. Mark Clayton is indeed a pain in the tailbone to both the Democrat and Republican establishment.

National Republican Congressional Committee: It Wasn't Courts Role To Defend The Constitution

“Friend, Chief Justice John Roberts wrote yesterday, ‘It’s not our job to protect the people from the consequences of their political choices.’ He’s right. You may disagree with his decision to uphold Obamacare, but his point still stands. It’s now up to us. Send us three bucks. Not our job to protect the people from the consequences of their political choices.”

Friday on the Rush Limbaugh show, the conservative talk show host received and email from the National Republican Congressional Committee which took the opportunity of Chief Justice John Roberts own words to try and get some funding.

Limbaugh was as taken back by the email’s statement as I was. “Well, excuse me, Mr. National Republican Congressional Committee, but nobody voted to raise taxes,” the talk show host exclaimed. “There were no political choices expressed in this end result. Even the democrats who rammed this bill through in the dead of night claimed it wasn’t a tax. Every poll under the sun shows that the people do not want Obamacare. In fact, some polls show people opposed to it by a margin of 3 to 1. What is this, protect the people from the consequences of their political choices? We need to be protected from the Supreme Court. There’s nowhere to go now.”

Limbaugh continued, “It’s not the job of the court to protect the people from the consequences of their political choices? Really? So anything a Congress passes in any way that they pass it, the court’s gonna uphold? No matter what it is? Because it’s not their job to determine whether or not it’s American? Which is, to me, what constitutional is. Everybody is just laissez-faire here, it’s hands off.”

“Oh, and by the way, if the way our elected officials wrote it doesn’t work, guess what? You people, whose political choices I’m talking about, guess what, I’m going to write something that none of you ever anticipated, that nobody ever made as a choice, and I’m gonna make it the law of the land. What defense do we have?”

Rush then said exactly what I was thinking. “We’re now supposed to go back, throw a bunch of Democrats out of office, hope and pray the Republicans we put into office then have the guts to do the right thing. And if they do, and the whole thing ends up back at the Supreme Court someday, we know all bets are off, because nothing matters anymore. There is no standard. There is no firewall. There’s no backstop. There is no alarm. There is no 911. There’s nowhere to go.”

He’s exactly right. There is nowhere to go. the problem is if the NRCC thinks like this, then what else do they have screwed up in their thinking of what is Constitutional and what isn’t? If you ask me the NRCC and the establishment are much farther to the left than most people realize. Now the question is, how many people gave in support of such a convoluted message by the RNCC?

Do you believe that parents should be able to spank their children?  Do you ever express that opinion to others?  If so, then you could be sent to prison.  Sadly, that is exactly what happened to one pastor up in Wisconsin recently.  A minister named Philip Caminiti was sentenced to 2 years in prison for simply teaching that parents should spank their children when they misbehave.  Please note that Caminiti was not accused of spanking anyone or of physically hurting anyone.  He was put in prison simply for his speech.  He was put in prison simply for what he was teaching others to do.  Whether you agree with spanking or not, this should be incredibly sobering for all of us.  Increasingly, speech is being penalized in the United States.  Much of the time, the focus of the attacks by the forces of political correctness is on religious speech.  If this trend continues, many of you that are reading this article might be put in jail for the things that you say in the coming years.

***Please Note: I am not defending anything that Phil Caminiti does or teaches.  In fact, a lot of things that he teaches are dead wrong.  What I am alarmed about is that a minister was put into prison solely for things that he said.  If they will do that to him, how soon will it be before they start putting other ministers in prison?***

When many of us were growing up, once in a while our parents would take out a belt or a wooden paddle and give us a paddling on the behind when we did something wrong.

Was there anything wrong with that?

Of course not.

Yes, there is real child abuse that goes on out there, but in the vast majority of instances spanking does not do any lasting physical harm.  Rather, it benefits the child because it helps them learn what is right and what is wrong.

I know that when I got a licking on the behind as a child that helped me to remember not to do the same thing again.

But Dane County Circuit Judge Maryann Sumi was absolutely horrified that some parents would actually use a wooden spoon to spank their little children when they misbehaved.

Perhaps that judge should actually try to spank someone with a wooden spoon some time.  You simply cannot do much damage with a wooden spoon.

Instead of going after the parents who were doing the spanking, prosecutors chose to go after the pastor instead.  They claimed that Caminiti was "the spoke in the wheel of this conspiracy".

Even after Caminiti leaves prison, he will be forbidden from having any contact with his old church....

Caminiti will be on extended supervision for six years after his release from prison. Despite objections on constitutional grounds by Caminiti's lawyers, Sumi ordered that he not have any contact with the Aleitheia Bible Church and have no leadership role in any church.

Freshman Republicans Switch from Tea to Kool-Aid
 byTad DeHaven

This week the Club for Growth released a study of votes cast in 2011 by the 87 Republicans elected to the House in November 2010. The Club found that “In many cases, the rhetoric of the so-called “Tea Party” freshmen simply didn’t match their records.” Particularly disconcerting is the fact that so many GOP newcomers cast votes against spending cuts.

The study comes on the heels of three telling votes taken last week in the House that should have been slam-dunks for members who possess the slightest regard for limited government and free markets. Alas, only 26 of the 87 members of the “Tea Party class” voted to defund both the Economic Development Administration and the president’s new Advanced Manufacturing Technology Consortia program (see my previous discussion of these votes here) and against reauthorizing the Export-Import Bank (see my colleague Sallie James’s excoriation of that vote here).

I assembled the following table, which shows how each of the 87 freshman voted. The 26 who voted for liberty in all three cases are highlighted. Only 49 percent voted to defund the EDA. Only 56 percent voted to defund a new corporate welfare program requested by the Obama administration. And only a dismal 44 percent voted against reauthorizing “Boeing’s bank.” That’s pathetic.

BAD WEEK FOR CONSERVATIVES!!

This was a bad week in the U.S. House of Representatives for economic conservatives.
While a small and dedicated contingency of pro-growth, limited government champions were hard at work trying to protect our economic freedom, the majority of Representatives - including an alarming number of Republicans - were busy spending your hard-earned tax dollars. One of the most egregious affronts being the reauthorization of the Export-Import Bank.
The Ex-Im Bank is nothing more than a government-run slush fund for corporate welfare. Nearly half of all its subsidies go to the massive company, Boeing. Most of the other half is split amongst companies that have either close political ties or good lobbyists. Since it subsidizes exports, we like to call it the "Fannie Mae of international trade."
President Obama asked for a 40% increase in the bank's lending authority. The GOP leadership, in what they audaciously referred to as a "compromise" with House Democrats, agreed to a bill that would not only reauthorize the Bank, but would also increase its authority by the 40% requested by Obama! Among Republicans, the vote was 147-93 in favor of the bill. It passed 330-93.

Obama Signs Executive Order Declaring International Regulations for the US

Barack Obama has signed another executive order as of May 1, 2012 in which is designed to standardize regulations between the United States and it’s so called trading partners. These regulations amount to nothing short of international law, as that is what regulations are.

This EO is closely ties with EO13563 and EO12866. This executive order states:

Another way to kill US farmers: Seize their bank accounts on phony charges

Food Freedom News

Monsanto’s Food and Drug Administration can’t close down small dairies and private food clubs fast enough, bursting on the scene with guns drawn as if the criminalized right to contract for natural foods we’ve consumed for millennia deserves SWAT attention.

Now, Obama has the Dept. of Justice going after small farmers under the post-911 “Bank Secrecy Act” which makes it a crime to deposit less than $10,000 when you earned more than that.

“The level we deposited was what it was and it was about the same every week,” Randy Sowers told Frederick News. The Sowers own and run South Mountain Creamery in Middletown, Maryland.

Admittedly, when the Sowers earned over $10,000 in February, and learned they’d have to fill out paperwork at the bank for such large deposits, they simply rolled the deposits over to keep them below the none-of-your-fucking-business amount, rather than waste time on bureaucratic red tape aimed at flagging terrorism or other illegal activities.

“Structuring,” explains Overlawyered.com, “is the federal criminal offense of splitting up bank deposits so as to keep them under a threshold such as $10,000 above which banks have to report transactions to the government.”

While being questioned, the Sowers were finally presented with a seizure order and advised that the feds had already emptied their bank account of $70,000.  The Dept. of Justice has since sued to keep $63,000 of the Sowers’ money, though they committed no crime other than maintaining their privacy.

Without funds, they will be unable to make purchases for the spring planting.

When a similar action was taken against Taylor’s Produce Stand last year, the feds seized $90,000, dropped the charges, and kept $45,000 of Taylor’s money.

Knowing that most farms operate on a very thin margin, such abuse of power wipes out a family’s income, and for a bonus, the feds enhance the monopoly power of Monsanto, Big Dairy and their supply chain.

You can just smell attorney Michael Taylor behind all this, Obama’s dairy dog.  Who you’ll find, instead, is US district attorney Stefan Cassella. He’s the first to head the DOJ’s Asset Forfeiture & Money Laundering Section, created in 2009, having wrote the books on it. He cut his teeth on seizing $1.2 billion from real money launderer, BCCI.  Guess his focus has changed since then.

The Maryland Dept. of Agriculture had no trouble hitting up the Sowers for a recipe in its Buy-Local cookbook; but Cassella must’ve missed that public service, or it’s what drew his attention – “Ah! A small dairy! Let’s rob them of their cash, those evil Big Dairy competitors. They probably sell raw milk under the table. Even if we find no evidence of wrongdoing, we’ll keep their money anyway.” (Cue Curly’s, “yuh, yuh, yuh.”)

City Paper reports that in 2011, “Maryland brought 14 of the nation’s 99 structuring cases, making it the top state for such prosecutions.  Nationally, the numbers have been rising; the 2011 figures are up 8.8 percent from the year before and up 57.1 percent from five years ago.”

Funny, Bank of America, Goldman Sachs, and other criminal banksters are still in operation, despite committing millions of acts of fraud during mortgage reassignations. But the DOJ prioritizes squashing family farmers since it’s easier to pick the low-hanging fruit than do battle with well-financed criminals who’ve illegally seized the homes of millions of US citizens.

Former Maryland assistant U.S. attorney Steven Levin told the paper, “The emphasis is on basically seizing money, whether it is legally or illegally earned. It can lead to financial ruin for business owners, and there’s a potential for abuse here by the government.”

Ya think?

The Bank Secrecy Act was modified* after 9/11, another in a long line of Constitutionally-abhorrent laws enacted by officials who cannot prove they were elected to office (given those elections were held on electronic voting systems that can be hacked without leaving evidence of the crime).

With the current Administration’s Agenda 21 focus on destroying the natural food and herb industry, is it not unsurprising to see unconstitutional terrorist legislation used on innocent, law abiding citizens?

The best way to attack Islamic phobia.

Iran: Explosive house church growth

Iran is the fifth country in the world on Open Doors’ World Watch List for the persecution of believers, but at the same time the church is growing explosively. The president and the supreme leader of the country openly speak against the growth of house churches, and persecution against Christian converts is highly prevalent. But these two government leaders are nearly alone in their disdain for Christianity as a ‘Western religion’, says an Open Doors staff member. Iranians have seen the corruption of the Islamic Revolution in their own country and are looking for something more. This yearning combined with a bold Christian presence is causing church growth like never before.

Iranians are very outgoing and want to speak about their faith, which is why discipleship training (with elements of outreach and communications) for Iranian believers is successful. It is estimated that about half of the new Christians are open about their new faith while others are keeping their conversion a secret. About 40 years ago, approximately 200 Christians from a Muslim background were living in Iran. Today estimations vary around 370,000 Christian converts. Besides these new believers, Iran also has a traditional Armenian and Assyrian church with about 80,000 members.
