Every president takes too much credit for economic gains and (sometimes unfairly) blames his predecessor for any headwinds. President socialist/scumbag/liar-Joe Biden has been in Washington so long that this behavior is second nature. Thus, it was no surprise to see him do both as he bumbled through remarks Friday at “exactly 12:00,” which he helpfully pointed out in his second sentence to “put today’s jobs report in perspective.” It was indeed the most disappointing and off-expectations jobs report in decades, so socialist/scumbag/liar-Biden had some blame to cast on Donald Trump.
First, let’s pause for a minute to review. The ChiCom Virus pandemic brought lockdowns that went from a 15-days-to-flatten-the-curve hardship to a 15-month battle to preserve our economy, our way of life, and our Liberty itself. In addition to fearmongering and overextended lockdowns, ill-conceived mitigation policies like enhanced unemployment benefits sidelined workers for too long. socialist/scumbag/liar-Biden and the Democrats used the pandemic as their primary tool for convincing voters to dump Trump in 2020. Now they’re using it as an excuse to reengineer the economy from DC on down, while talking about it in terms of a “rescue.”
Back to socialist/scumbag/liar-Biden’s remarks, he began by saying that missed expectations actually exceeded his expectations. “Look, when we came to office, we knew we were facing a once-in-a-century pandemic and a once-in-a-generation economic crisis,” he said. “And we knew this wouldn’t be a sprint; it would be a marathon. Quite frankly, we are moving more rapidly than I thought we would.” What economists is he listening to?
socialist/scumbag/liar-Biden cherry-picked some jobs numbers to illustrate that he has in fact done a great job and Friday’s hugely disappointing report was actually good news. “This is progress,” he insisted. “And it’s a testament to our new strategy of growing this economy from the bottom up and the middle out. And it’s a clear testament to why it’s so needed.”
The Six Trillion Dollar Man’s Big Government programs are necessary, he went on to argue: “Some critics said that we didn’t need the American Rescue Plan, that this economy would just heal itself. Today’s report just underscores, in my view, how vital the actions we’re taking are. … Our efforts are starting to work, but the climb is steep and we still have a long way to go.”
He also called the jobs report “a rebuttal to the loose talk that the Americans just don’t want to work.” That’s a mendacious framing of the provable truth that paying people more not to work than to work means people won’t work. Moreover, Democrat spendthrifts seeded expectations for a $15 minimum wage by matching $600 a week in enhanced benefits to what a worker earning $15 an hour would bring home.
All of this is why socialist/scumbag/liar-Biden didn’t make any coherent arguments to actually rebut anything. Like a nervous tick, he just kept repeating empty bromides like “that’s why the American Rescue Plan is so important” and “thank goodness we passed the American Rescue Plan.”
When you want to spend $6 trillion — causing massive inflation and other side effects — you have to convince people it’s necessary and working. Part of the Democrats’ strategy is to use the fact that new job numbers came in 75% below estimates in order to argue that it’s critical to pass more of their ostensible economic aid.
Indeed, going back a minute, at one point when socialist/ scumbag/liar-Biden talked about the American Rescue Plan, he stumbled and said, “Ameriscan.” Come to think of it, Ameriscam might just be the perfect name for socialist/scumbag/liar-Biden’s schemes. ~The Patriot Post
COVID-19 Came From a Chinese Lab
The debate over whether COVID-19 escaped from a lab or originated naturally is fast becoming tiresome. Why? Because one scenario makes sense, and the other one doesn’t.
As Nicholas Wade, who for 30 years covered science for the New York Times, put it during a recent Fox News interview, “It’s very hard on the natural emergence scenario to imagine how the virus broke out someplace else, built itself up into a real good human pathogen, and, without infecting anyone else, the guy who was infected jumped on a train to Wuhan, didn’t infect anyone on the train and it was only when he got to Wuhan that he started spreading. It just doesn’t make a lot of sense.”
On the other hand, as Wade notes, “The evidence that it may have been manipulated comes on several fronts. One, I think, is that, from the very start, it was very well adapted to humans, but most other viruses of this type, when they spill over, they take a long time, they take many mutations to get themselves into a really good pathogen. This one was there from the start.”
Wade, in a lengthy paper he published on April 30, suspects that the Wuhan Institute of Virology was conducting “gain-of-function” research to enhance viral capabilities so as to better understand their danger to humans. This is dangerous stuff. And he blames four parties:
The Chinese virologists who performed such experiments under security conditions that were far too lax for containing a virus of this lethality.
Chinese authorities, who appear to have done their utmost to obstruct worldwide efforts to get to the bottom of this pandemic. As he writes, “They suppressed all records at the Wuhan Institute of Virology and closed down its virus databases. They released a trickle of information, much of which may have been outright false or designed to misdirect and mislead. They did their best to manipulate the WHO’s inquiry into the virus’s origins, and led the commission’s members on a fruitless run-around. So far they have proved far more interested in deflecting blame than in taking the steps necessary to prevent a second pandemic.”
The worldwide virology community, which Wade says has “barricaded itself behind a Chinese wall of silence.” Why? To protect both its ability to conduct this dangerous research and to protect the research funding pipeline from which so much money flows. “Professions that cannot regulate themselves,” he writes, “deserve to get regulated by others.”
The U.S. for its part in funding the Wuhan Institute of Virology. Here, he places blame on a nonprofit called the EcoHealth Alliance, which used a grant from the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (part of the National Institutes of Health) to conduct gain-of-function research with coronaviruses.
Yes, we supplied funding to the Wuhan lab that appears to be responsible for this pandemic and its more than three million deaths worldwide. Is it any wonder, then, that Dr. Anthony Fauci has been so tight-lipped about all this? He’s been the director of the funding entity, the NIAID, since 1984.
One day soon, hopefully, the whole truth will come out. As columnist Josh Rogin writes in the Washington Post, “More than one year after the outbreak of covid-19 in Wuhan, China, the virus’s origin remains a mystery, imperiling chances of preventing the next pandemic. Now, several members of Congress are responding to Chinese government obfuscation, World Health Organization incompetence and socialist/scumbag/liar-Biden administration neglect by moving to launch their own investigations. And these lawmakers insist on exploring the theory that the outbreak might be connected to an accident at a Wuhan lab.”
Even the socialist/scumbag/liar-Biden administration is starting to cave, after having long run interference for the ChiComs. As Rogin continues, “The calls for more information come after the White House, last month, said it believes that China has ‘not been transparent’ in releasing its findings on the origins of COVID-19, as part of a report it wrote in collaboration with the World Health Organization. … The White House said the WHO’s China report lacks crucial information and provides just a ‘partial, incomplete picture’ of the virus’ origin.”
You’re telling us.
“For over a year, anyone asking questions about the Wuhan Institute of Virology has been branded as a conspiracy theorist,” said Missouri Republican Senator Josh Hawley last month. “The world needs to know if this pandemic was the product of negligence at the Wuhan lab but the CCP has done everything it can to block a credible investigation … the socialist/scumbag/liar-Biden administration must declassify what it knows about the Wuhan lab and Beijing’s attempts to cover up the origin of the pandemic.” ~The Patriot Post
Worst Cyberattack in U.S. History Signals Trouble
Over the weekend, the U.S. was hit with its worst cyberattack to date, as the nation’s largest fuel pipeline company, Colonial Pipeline, was forced to shut down a 5,500-mile stretch of pipeline that supplies some 45% of fuel consumed on the East Coast. The Georgia-based company shut down the pipeline after its business-side computer system was compromised by a ransomware attack. “We proactively took certain systems offline to contain the threat, which has temporarily halted all pipeline operations, and affected some of our IT systems,” Colonial explained. This is hugely consequential.
There are a couple of takeaways — first about our infrastructure, and second regarding who’s responsible.
Fuel shortages causing a spike in prices is a real possibility if the pipeline is not brought back online within the next few days. The company stated on Sunday that it “will bring our full system back online only when we believe it is safe to do so, and in full compliance with the approval of all federal regulations.”
Energy researcher Amy Myers Jaffe observed, “This was not a minor target. Colonial Pipeline is ultimately the jugular of the U.S. pipeline system. It’s the most significant, successful attack on energy infrastructure we know of in the United States. We’re lucky if there are no consequences, but it’s a definite alarm bell.”
Senator Ben Sasses (R-NE) responded by hitting Democrats for their terminology games with expanding what constitutes actual infrastructure and therefore hanging up a true infrastructure bill. “There’s obviously much still to learn about how this attack happened,” Sasse said, “but we can be sure of two things: This is a play that will be run again, and we’re not adequately prepared. If Congress is serious about an infrastructure package, at front and center should be the hardening of these critical sectors — rather than progressive wishlists masquerading as infrastructure.”
And given socialist/scumbag/liar-Joe Biden’s actions in revoking the Keystone XL pipeline permit as part of his Green New Deal assault on American energy production, combined with his $2 trillion “infrastructure” plan that’s light on actual infrastructure, it’s evident that pipelines are infrastructure that socialist/scumbag/liar-Biden’s just not interested in getting behind.
Finally, the most likely culprit for the cyberattack has been identified as the criminal cyber gang known as “DarkSide” — a group that likens itself to Robin Hood and is known for targeting Western businesses while avoiding attacking hospitals, schools, and governments. Tellingly, though, it has the Kremlin written all over it. As Andrew Rubin, CEO of cybersecurity company Illumio, contends, “Whether they work for the state or not is increasingly irrelevant, given Russia’s obvious policy of harboring and tolerating cybercrime.” Vladimir Putin certainly wasn’t keen on Donald Trump’s work to make America energy independent or his challenge to Russian dominance in natural gas production. It’s no surprise to see Putin’s organized crime cutouts attack the U.S. in such a way.

Will Asian Americans Trade Success for Solidarity?
It is no secret that Democrats in general, and the socialist/scumbag/liarBiden administration in particular, are determined to balkanize America as a means of attaining unassailable power. Their biggest hammer is “systemic racism,” a contemptible effort manifest in terms of the historically fraudulent 1619 Project and Critical Race Theory agendas being promulgated in both the private and public sectors throughout the nation. In short, that agenda comes down to all whites being “privileged” and all minorities being “victimized.” That both assumptions are racist to the core is only relevant in terms of maintenance: The systemic racism lie must be repeated often enough so it becomes the truth, and minority groups must be continually convinced they have no hope unless they vote for bigger government controlled by Democrats. What if one minority group refuses to play along?
Following the election of several scumbag-George Soros-funded, soft-on-crime district attorneys, and leftist-led efforts to defund police and eliminate cash bail — even as “mostly peaceful protests” were “intensifying” into full-blown riots — the inevitable happened: Crime rates across America soared.
In cities like New York, Portland, Minneapolis, Chicago, Seattle, Philadelphia, and Los Angeles, double- and triple-digit increases in violent crimes have afflicted people of all races, as more and more Democrat-controlled cities inch closer and closer to anarchy.
Yet even as everyone is affected, Democrats and their media allies have recently focused predominantly on crimes committed against Asians. These included stories about the stabbing of two elderly Asian women in San Francisco, two Asian women attacked with cinder block in Baltimore, an Asian woman attacked with a hammer in New York, a couple assaulted by a teen in Washington state, and a host of others.
Moreover, the media are more than willing to paint a largely misleading picture regarding this uptick in violence. “Anti-Asian hate crime jumps 1,900 percent,” stated a September 24, 2020, headline in the Queens Chronicle.
Reality check? One attack against Asians in 2019 increased to 20 attacks in 2020. By comparison, there were 60 hate crimes perpetrated against Jews. NBC News plays the same game, noting that New York City had a 223% increase — from 13 hate crimes in the first quarter of 2020 to 42 in the same period this year.
Who’s to blame? “Many attribute the 2020 uptick to the xenophobic rhetoric of [socialist/scumbag/liar-Joe] Biden’s predecessor; former President [Donald] Trump repeatedly referred to COVID-19 as ‘the China virus,’ blaming the country for the pandemic,” Time Magazine columnist Cady Lang asserts. And the Daily Mail cites a Pew Research study that contends one-fifth of Asians “believed the rise in hate crimes was directly related to former President Donald Trump and his rhetoric on China.”
That the virus did originate in China, which lied about it repeatedly and has never been held even remotely accountable for the carnage? That four-fifths of Asians don’t buy the Trump-hate crime connection? That nearly 90% of so-called hate crimes consisted of verbal attacks or shunning? That black Americans commit a higher proportion of hate crimes against Asians than do whites?
According to Santa Clara County professor Sherry Wang, Asians’ reluctance to report such racist incidents “are reflections of the wider effect that white supremacy has on both Asian American communities and black communities.”
In other words, even when Asians are attacked by blacks, it’s still the fault of white people.
And in case Asians don’t buy into the message that they are victims of white supremacy, “racial justice educator” Bianca Mabute-Louie asserts their economic success relative to every other group of Americans, including whites, is really a “model minority myth.” According to Mabute-Louie, this myth was promulgated during the Civil Rights era as a means of undercutting racial justice movements, because it dares to suggest that Asian Americans are more successful than other ethnic minorities because of hard work, education and inherently law-abiding natures, and thus creates a false impression that Asians don’t experience racial discrimination. Lok Siu, an associate professor of Asian American and Asian Diaspora Studies at UC-Berkeley, takes another tack, insisting there’s “a bamboo ceiling that prevents Asian Americans from actually achieving full equity with white Americans.”
Equity? Columnist Andrew Sullivan eviscerates the equity vs. equality scam. “Asians are targeted by elite leftists, who actively discriminate against them in higher education, and attempt to dismantle the merit-based schools where Asian-American students succeed — precisely and only because too many Asians are attending,” he asserts.
Sullivan is right. In New York City, merit test-based admission to the city’s eight highly selective high schools is being eliminated in favor of “equity” because Asians dominated the admissions process. California’s Department of Education is creating a new mathematics framework aimed at discouraging gifted students from enrolling in accelerated classes, and the school board at highly rated Lowell High School in San Francisco has proposed to replace a grades-based admissions system with a random lottery.
Ivy League colleges are playing the same games. Highly qualified Asian applicants are denied entry to these schools, courtesy of assertions that such qualifications are only part of a “holistic” approach they take to determine which students can be admitted. Thus at Harvard, other minority high-schoolers with mid-range SAT scores of approximately 1100 were sent a recruitment letter, while Asian men and women were required to score 1350 and 1380, respectively, to receive the same letter.
In a better nation, this would be seen as the rank discrimination against Asians — and excellence — it truly is. In this one, the systemic racism narrative must be maintained.
And if Asians suffer disproportionately because of it? Progressives continue dividing Asians — against each other. “Asians now surpass blacks as the racial and ethnic group with the highest level of income inequality,” CNN reported in 2018, citing a Pew Research Center study.
That income disparity has increased in every ethnic group? As CNN further noted, “72% of Indian adults have a bachelor’s degree, but only 9% of Bhutanese adults do. The median household income of Indians is $100,000, but it’s only $36,000 among the Burmese.”
Does that make Indians “privileged” and Burmese and Bhutanese “victims”? Will Democrats and the socialist/ scumbag/liar-Biden administration attempt to highlight such distinctions in their ongoing effort to divide all Americans against one another?
In April, Senate Democrats defeated an amendment to the “COVID-19 Hate Crimes Act” from Senate Republicans that would have barred federal funding “for any institution of higher education that discriminates against Asian Americans in recruitment, applicant review, or admissions.” Democrat Senator Mazie Hirono called it a “cynical attack” on universities that seek to “increase diversity.”
Nothing is more cynical than the race-based attempt to eliminate excellence and sell it as diversity. Above all else, decent Americans of every race should see these machinations for what they really are: An abhorrent effort to maintain the systemic racism narrative by bringing Asian Americans down, not raising other minorities up.
Are a majority of Asians ready to embrace race-based victimhood? How about government-sponsored mediocrity for the sake of solidarity? People who can succeed on their own have no need for such pernicious nonsense.

A Sensible Scientist Unsettles the Left
In a 2005 lecture he gave at Caltech, the late Michael Crichton, author of Jurassic Park and holder of a medical degree from Harvard, had this to say about the impact of science: “Rather than serving as a cleansing force, science has in some instances been seduced by the more ancient lures of politics and publicity. Some of the demons that haunt our world in recent years are invented by scientists. The world has not benefitted from permitting these demons to escape free.”Crichton was certainly prophetic about the politicization of science, but one wonders what he’d make of the scientific community’s more recent lurch leftward, its weirdly anti-scientific approach to the COVID-19 pandemic, and especially its theocratic approach to “climate change,” whose science, the Left insists, was long ago settled.
Settled? Not so, says physicist Steven Koonin, the former undersecretary of science during the scumbag/liar-nObama administration. Koonin is also the author of the new book Unsettled, in which he writes, “The science is insufficient to make useful projections about how the climate will change over the coming decades, much less what effect our actions will have on it.”
That statement alone should be comforting to global warming skeptics, who have, so far, through sheer force of will, staved off scumbag/liar-Al Gore’s 15-year-old warnings of impending underwater doom to such cities as Amsterdam, Beijing, Shanghai, Calcutta, Manhattan, and San Francisco.
“Koonin kicks the hornet’s nest right out of the gate in ‘Unsettled,’” writes Mark Mills, a senior fellow at the Manhattan Institute. “In the book’s first sentences he asserts that ‘the Science’ about our planet’s climate is anything but ‘settled.’ Mr. Koonin knows well that it is nonetheless a settled subject in the minds of most pundits and politicians and most of the population.”
Koonin, though, as Mills notes, is no “climate denier.” He believes that the globe is warming and that humans have a hand in it. How big is this hand? How great are its effects? How urgently should governments respond to it? Those questions are among the unanswerable.
As for the word “denier” and its use by the Left to equate global warming skeptics with Holocaust deniers, Koonin finds it rather repugnant since, as he writes, “the Nazis killed more than two hundred of my relatives in Eastern Europe.”
“Mr. Koonin’s science credentials are impeccable,” writes Mills, “unlike, say, those of one well-known Swedish teenager to whom the media affords great attention on climate matters. He has been a professor of physics at Caltech and served as the top scientist in Barack scumbag/liar-nObama’s Energy Department.”
Here we’d offer a word of caution. While not just any schlub rates a Caltech professorship, we’d remind Mills that scumbag/liar-nObama’s “science czar,” John Holdren, once floated ideas such as forced abortions, “compulsory sterilization,” and a “Planetary Regime” to oversee population levels and protect the earth from us humans by controlling all of its natural resources.
Still, as Mills writes, Unsettled packs a wallop. “As Mr. Koonin illustrates, tornado frequency and severity are also not trending up; nor are the number and severity of droughts. The extent of global fires has been trending significantly downward. The rate of sea-level rise has not accelerated. Global crop yields are rising, not falling. And while global atmospheric CO2 levels are obviously higher now than two centuries ago, they’re not at any record planetary high — they’re at a low that has only been seen once before in the past 500 million years.”
By debunking one non-scientific climate claim after another, Koonin will no doubt leave the alarmists and the ecofascists, well, unsettled. Here’s hoping he has thick enough skin to withstand the attacks that are sure to come. ~The Patriot Post
Is New York City About to Elect a Pro-Gun Mayor?
Many have assumed that former Democrat presidential candidate Andrew Yang would be a shoo-in to win election as the next mayor of New York City given that he’s a well-known quantity and has led the polls for some time. However, current Mayor scumbag-Bill de Blasio is on his way out after two ignominious terms, leaving the Big Apple with a crime rate spike not seen since the 1970s thanks to his commitment to hard-left identity politics that sees virtue signaling as effective policy action. That means there’s an opening for another kind of virtue that deserves some signaling for a change.
As noted above, Yang appeared to be a lock for mayor since he had a comfortable lead in the Democrat primary polls — that is until recently when a new poll showed police veteran Eric Adams surging into the lead. This sudden lead change likely has everything to do with New York’s rising crime, which Adams has been frank about addressing.
There may be numerous reasons why Adams is giving Yang a run for his money, but one of the more interesting things about Adams is his embrace of the Second Amendment, a decidedly non-Democrat position these days.
In an interview last year, Adams was asked, “So, as mayor, would you carry a firearm on you even with a security detail?” Adams responded, “Yes I will, number one.” He then added, “And number two, I won’t have a security detail. If the city’s safe, the mayor shouldn’t have a security detail with him. He should be walking the street by himself. Number three, the hypocrisy of those who are citywide officials who said you shouldn’t have guns in church, those guys that walk in with them — they got guns.”
To recap, an individual has the right to bear arms, a safer city is the goal, and criminals don’t abide by the law. That sounds downright … sensible.
“Having been a police officer for 22 years, Adams understands the crisis. He articulates a clear, firm and common sense route to cleaning up our streets,” says the New York Post editorial board in its endorsement. “Adams understands the challenges officers face and the overwhelming good they do.”
No matter Adams’s other policy positions, which are decidedly on the left, it’s a rare breath of fresh air to hear a Democrat actually embrace and defend the Second Amendment. Sadly, it appears that it takes a massive spike in crime to convince New Yorkers that maybe — just maybe — the right to bear arms to defend one’s life and property is fundamental to countering lawlessness. ~The Patriot Post

Voter Suppression? Democrats Flat-Out Wrong. Census Data Gives Real Story About U.S. Elections
There is no suppression going on of anyone's votes anywhere in the country. Anyone who says otherwise is just making it up.
The Census Bureau’s recent release of its 2020 election survey of voters clearly demonstrates that those who have been claiming, without justification or evidence, that we have been experiencing a wave of so-called voter suppression have a lot of explaining to do.
Among those making such claims: Vice President lowlife/liar-Kamala Harris, Associate Attorney General Vanita Gupta, U.S. Justice Department nominee Kristen Clarke, former Attorney General scumbag/liar-Eric Holder, scumbag/worthless-Stacey Abrams, and a host of leaders of left-wing organizations like the Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights and the NAACP, among others.
Instead, the Census Bureau reports that the turnout in last year’s election was 66.8%—just short of the record turnout of 67.7% of voting-age citizens for the 1992 election. It beat the turnout in President Barack scumbag/liar-nObama’s first election, which was reported as 63.6% by the bureau.
lowlife/liar-Harris made that false claim about “voter suppression” in September last year when she was running for office. Yet the Census survey shows that there was higher turnout among all races in 2020 when compared to the 2016 election. Black Americans turned out at 63%, compared to 60% in 2016. Gupta has repeatedly made the same dishonest claim about “voter suppression” and an “assault” on voting rights. But 59% of Asian Americans voted in 2020, a 10-percentage point increase from 2016 when 49% turned out to vote.
Only 47% of Asian Americans voted in 2008 and 2012 when scumbag/liar-nObama ran for office and was reelected, including during a period when Gupta was in charge of the Civil Rights Division at the Justice Department and was supposed to be protecting voting rights.
Clarke, the radical who has been nominated by President socialist/scumbag/liar-Joe Biden to head the Civil Rights Division, has also made the same deceptive claim about “voter suppression,” including states that, she claims, are “making it harder to register to vote.”
Really? Because the Census Bureau reports that voter registration in 2020 reached 72.7%, which is higher than the 70.3% who registered in 2016 after eight years of the scumbag/liar-nObama/socialist/scumbag/liar-Biden administration. Not only that, but voter registration in 2020 was higher than in the 2000, 2004, 2008, and 2012 elections.
Holder propagandized about “voter suppression” in 2020, claiming efforts to improve election integrity are “anti-democratic, anti-American.” Hispanics obviously disagreed with him since they turned out at 54% in 2020, compared to only 50% of Hispanics who voted in 2008 when his boss was elected.
And Hispanic turnout actually dropped during Holder’s tenure as attorney general from 2009 through 2015, falling to 48% in the 2012 and 2016 elections.
So you mean to say that with the Trump administration running the Justice Department, Hispanic turnout actually jumped up 6 percentage points in 2020? Doesn’t sound very anti-democratic or anti-American to me. Although what does sound anti-democratic and anti-American is trying to scare and manipulate the general public with fabricated stories about “voter suppression."
Abrams has been spouting nonsense about Georgia, the American election system, and "voter suppression” since she lost her race for governor in Georgia in 2018. This despite record registration and turnout numbers ever since Georgia’s voter photo ID law went into effect in the 2008 election; black and Hispanic turnout skyrocketed compared to the 2004 presidential election.
It is, of course, hard to make such deceptive claims when Hispanics made up 11% of the total turnout in the 2020 election, up from only 9% in 2016. But that certainly has not stopped those who reflexively recite the “voter suppression” mantra to a gullible crowd, including many in the media and corporate executive suites.
The Hispanic share of the vote was just behind that of black Americans, who had 12% of the total vote in 2020—the same percentage of the total vote by black Americans in the 2016 election at the end of the scumbag/liar-nObama/socialist/scumbag/liar-Biden administration when all of these liberals who keeping pushing the phony “voter suppression” myth were running things.
The bottom line of the Census Bureau’s survey is that Americans are easily registering—when they want to—and they are turning out to vote when they are interested in the candidates who are running for election.
In fact, in an election year in which we were dealing with an unprecedented shutdown of the country due to a pandemic, we had, according to the Census Bureau, “the highest voter turnout of the 21st century.”

So, we got the April jobs report yesterday morning. Economists were expecting at least one million new jobs as more states are relaxing COVID restrictions and more businesses reopen. Some financial experts boldly predicted that as many as two million new jobs were created last month.
It was a total miss. Just 266,000 new jobs were created in April, and the unemployment rate went up. But there’s more. March’s numbers were revised downward by 146,000 fewer jobs.
What’s going on? Well, as many conservatives and business owners warned, it seems that the extra unemployment benefits Democrats stuffed into the latest COVID relief bill are keeping many potential workers on the sidelines. Why work when you can get paid almost as much or perhaps even more to stay home?
Here’s something else to consider: Many businesses are bracing for socialist/scumbag/liar-Biden’s tax hikes and likely tapping the brakes on hiring. It’s only logical that businesses would hesitate to take on additional employees (expenses) now if they expect their taxes (costs) are about to go up.
None of this should surprise anyone. The scumbag/liar-nObama/socialist/scumbag/liar-Biden malaise wasn’t that long ago.
Personnel Is Policy
As we have previously reported, the socialist/scumbag/ liar-Biden Administration is packed full of radical appointees, each of whom wields considerable influence over various aspects of domestic and foreign policy.
These radical appointments clearly expose the socialist/scumbag/liar-Biden Administration’s “moderate” facade. And one of socialist/scumbag/liar-Biden’s recent appointments is particularly concerning when it comes to U.S. policy toward Israel.
Last month, socialist/scumbag/liar-Biden nominated Sarah Margon to be assistant secretary of state for democracy and human rights. Margon is a far-left activist, connected to scumbag-George Soros, who accused George W. Bush and Dick Cheney of “crimes against humanity.”
Margon previously served as the director of the rabidly anti-Israel group, Human Rights Watch (HRW), which has repeatedly smeared Israel as an “apartheid state." From her perch at HRW, Margon routinely cheered the anti-Semitic boycott, divestment and sanctions (BDS) movement against Israel.
And while the socialist/scumbag/liar-Biden Administration claims to support a "two-state solution” with Israel living side-by-side with a Palestinian state carved out of Judea and Samaria, Margon doesn’t share that vision. In her fevered mind, the map of the Middle East doesn’t include Israel at all.
She has embraced the concept of a “single-state solution,” much like that favored by scumbag/worthless-Rashida Tlaib and Ayatollah Khamenei of Iran. In such a state, Palestinian Arabs demographically swamp Israeli Jews, so that the world’s only Jewish state ceases to exist.
And THIS is the person socialist/scumbag/liar-Biden selected to be his assistant secretary of state for democracy and human rights. A person committed to demonizing, if not destroying, the only truly democratic state in the Middle East that is committed to human rights, our ally Israel.
Sadly, Margon’s appointment is not a fluke, but merely the latest in a string of radical anti-Israel activists Biden has brought into the government.
But let’s assume that socialist/scumbag/liar-Biden hadn’t appointed any of these extremists. You wouldn’t need any more evidence of the socialist/scumbag/liar-Biden/ lowlife/liar-Harris Administration’s hostility toward Israel than its enthusiasm for getting back into the Iranian nuclear deal. They continue to hold negotiations with every country involved except the one nation at the greatest risk of annihilation – Israel.
One Nation Under ???
On Thursday we noted that President socialist/scumbag/ liar-Biden left God out of his National Day of Prayer proclamation. Some are asking why he would do that. Well, it’s not at all surprising. Jesus was missing from socialist/scumbag/liar-Biden’s Easter proclamation.
Let me remind you that this is the party that booed the inclusion of God in its 2012 platform. This is the party that tried to force the Little Sisters of the Poor to pay for contraception, that wants to browbeat Christian bakers and pizzerias. This is the party that is trying to force Catholic doctors to perform sex change surgeries.
Faith used to unite us. Now it is one of the primary differences between the two parties.
The growing percentage of Americans who claim no faith overwhelmingly vote for the Democrat Party. Those most serious about their faith, whether evangelical Christians or Orthodox Jews, overwhelmingly vote Republican.
Yesterday’s proclamation was just another attempt by socialist/scumbag/liar-Joe Biden to appease his radical base, and it tells you everything you need to know about the mindset of his administration.
Ronald Reagan said, “If we ever forget that we’re one nation under God, we will be a nation gone under.”
I still believe America can be the “shining city upon a hill” that our Founding Fathers and President Reagan believed in. With your prayers and support, I will continue fighting the good fight for faith, family and freedom!
Facebook & The Cartels
Kudos to Congresswoman Kat Cammack (R-FL)! She’s furious after discovering how easy it was to find ads on Facebook placed by human traffickers, working hand-in-hand with the drug cartels, to exploit our southern border.
That’s right. The same Facebook that has banned Donald Trump has absolutely no problem accepting the blood money of human traffickers helping people violate our national sovereignty, not to mention the horrific abuse they inflict on migrant women and girls.
Meanwhile, Congresswoman Cammack noted that she has constituents in her district who have been banned from advertising their businesses on Facebook because they shared “conservative content” or posted a photo of themselves wearing a MAGA hat!
