Now that the second liar-Democrat impeachment charade has concluded with another acquittal for Donald Trump, how will liar-Dems perpetuate the blame and continue using the Capitol riot to inflict maximum damage on Trump and all Republicans? By announcing “an outside, independent 9/11-type Commission” ostensibly to investigate the Capitol riot. What could go wrong?
After commissioning retired Army General Russel Honoré to investigate security failures, House Speaker scumbag/ liar-Nancy Pelosi wrote in a letter to House liar-Democrats, “It is clear from his findings and from the impeachment trial that we must get to the truth of how this happened.” Ah yes, “the truth.” She has $500 million in taxpayer funds “invested” in their impeachment props that she can’t let go to waste, even if it resulted in not much truth and way too much political theater.
Not only that, but she called for more money to be spent securing the Capitol. The $500 million we mentioned was primarily spent on keeping the National Guard in DC for far too long already. Nevertheless, she wrote that this is all about “our security, our security, our security.”
Speaking of “the truth of how this happened,” several Republicans would like to know what scumbag/liar-Pelosi knew and when she knew it. Did she, they ask, have a hand in the denial of National Guard backup before the infamous rally-turned-riot? (That answer is likely yes.) And why is she now bypassing her own security measures?
The rioters deserve condemnation and justice — that is not in question. But this 9/11-style commission will be highly politicized and will at best reveal only the part of the truth beneficial to liar-Democrats. Just consider how liar-Democrats have already politicized the Capitol Police. In the immediate aftermath of the riot, socialist/ scumbag/liar-Joe Biden and lowlife/liar-Kamala Harris each pronounced the police “racist” for supposedly treating the mob differently than BLM and antifa mobs were treated last summer. Now liar-Democrats want to award those same Capitol Police the Congressional Gold Medal.
“We will be forever grateful to the Capitol Police for their life-saving courage and heroism in securing the Capitol and protecting Members,” scumbag/liar-Pelosi gushed. If that doesn’t highlight the glaring hypocrisy and anti-truth agenda of liar-Democrats, we don’t know what does. ~The Patriot Post
Texas Deep Freeze Exposes 'Green' Energy's Limits
A once-in-a-century winter storm has blanketed vast swaths of the nation in snow, including virtually the entire state of Texas. That has left millions in the Lone Star State without power, and rolling blackouts have many likening Texas to the environmental paradise of California. It’s important to note that this deep freeze is a highly unusual weather event for Texas, something that will likely not be experienced again for another century. However, it does serve to expose the inherent limitations of “green” renewable energy.
While Texas is rightly known for its oil industry, the state also happens to rely on wind energy for more of its power grid than any other state, having the largest wind fleet in the nation. It’s all well and good for the empty stretches of west Texas to be put to good use capturing the wind, but when a deep freeze hits, those turbines suddenly become a liability rather than an asset.
As Isaac Orr at the American Experiment explains, “The Lone Star state is currently short of electricity because half of the Texas wind fleet … is iced over and incapable of generating electricity. Additionally, the natural gas infrastructure Texas has become so reliant upon has also frozen up. Texas’s experience highlights the perils of becoming overly reliant upon wind, solar and natural gas because these energy sources are not as reliable as coal or nuclear power during extreme weather conditions.”
The Wall Street Journal editorial board further observes that much of what has led to Texas’s current predicament can be laid on bad public policy. “Blame a perfect storm of bad government policies, timing and weather. Coal and nuclear are the most reliable sources of power. But competition from heavily subsidized wind power and inexpensive natural gas, combined with stricter emissions regulation, has caused coal’s share of Texas’s electricity to plunge by more than half in a decade to 18%.”
Meanwhile, the Journal notes, “Wind’s share has tripled to about 25% since 2010 and accounted for 42% of power last week before the freeze set in. About half of Texans rely on electric pumps for heating, which liberals want to mandate everywhere. But the pumps use a lot of power in frigid weather. So while wind turbines were freezing, demand for power was surging.”
The problem with dogmatically adhering to an ideology that steadfastly shuns real-world data is that eventually the harshness of reality hits — often devastatingly so — demonstrating the bankruptcy of the ideology. As we noted last week, energy produced by wind and solar simply cannot meet the power demands of the modern world, no matter how loudly ecofascists insist otherwise.
The great irony is that if this deep freeze had hit Texas just a decade ago, its residents wouldn’t be suffering through rolling blackouts because coal power would have backed up enough of the grid to keep the heat on. And that kind of reliability is what matters most in an extreme weather event like folks in Texas are experiencing today. ~The Patriot Post
Saving Keystone From socialist/scumbag/liar-Joe Biden's Pen
That socialist/scumbag/liar-Joe Biden would sign an executive order revoking the permit for construction of the Keystone XL pipeline on his first day in office tells us a lot about his disregard for flyover country and the folks who live there.
No discussion, no deliberation, and not even a pretense of living up to the promise he made in his inaugural speech to “work as hard for those who didn’t vote for me as those who did.”
But that’s socialist/scumbag/liar-Joe Biden. Promises made, promises broken.
As we noted two weeks ago, Keystone was about much more than merely getting oil from A to B. It was about opportunities, dreams, jobs, and lives. It was about real people — not Beltway elitists like socialist/scumbag/liar-Joe and lowlife/liar-Kamala and hanoi-John Kerry and Sandy Cortez.
The 1,700-mile pipeline was expected to carry some 800,000 barrels of oil per day from the oil sands of the western Canadian province of Alberta to the Bakken formation spanning eastern Montana and western North Dakota, where it would be mixed with American light crude and then sent southward to our refineries in Texas. Was expected — until socialist/scumbag/liar-Joe Biden canceled it with the stroke of a pen.
The Washington Examiner’s Barnini Chakraborty has been chronicling the very real human costs of the Keystone XL cancellation: “‘Once Joe sat down with his stack of executive orders, and he got to the KXL pipeline, that was it,’ Peter Bardeson, business manager for the Laborers, Local 620 union in Sioux Falls, told the Washington Examiner. ‘Our guys were told by the contractors on site that Joe killed the job.’ Bardeson, who has been involved with three cross-country pipelines, had about 60 laborers working at three of the six pump sites in South Dakota when the news of the cancellation hit. Local 620 members began working on location in June and were expected to stay on the job until March. Bardeson estimates that the cancellation of the pipeline cost the union 60,000 hours and $1.6 million in lost wages.”
House Republicans, to their credit, aren’t quite ready to call it quits on Keystone or the thousands of people whose lives have been turned upside down by its cancellation. As the Examiner’s Kerry Picket reports, “The administration of President Donald Trump approved the project, but socialist/scumbag/liar-Biden nixed it because, it said, a pipeline rupture posed imminent environmental threats. But for House Republicans, within striking distance of winning a House majority in 2022, it’s an opportunity to paint the socialist/scumbag/liar-Biden administration as a job-killer. Rep. Tom Emmer of Minnesota, chairman of the National Republican Congressional Committee, the GOP campaign arm, [said], "House Democrats are going to pay the price for their job-killing, anti-energy agenda.”
Let’s hope so. This was a bad decision by socialist/ scumbag/liar-Joe Biden — an America Last decision — and the GOP must shackle him and his party to it.
So much for the once-proud liar-Democrats as the party of labor. And so much for ol’ Scranton socialist/scumbag/ liar-Joe and those high-paying union jobs he’s always claimed to be “fighting” for. What we had here was part of what Matthew Continetti dubbed a wealth-redistributing clawback of red state prosperity on behalf of business-hostile blue states and their liar-Democrat benefactors.
And at least one liar-Democrat, West Virginia’s senior senator, Joe Manchin, recognizes the folly of this decision. His state, after all, went for Donald Trump by 39 points. Last week, he penned a letter to socialist/ scumbag/liar-Biden, asking him to reconsider. “I encourage you to let these processes proceed as intended,” he wrote, “and to not let politics drive the decisions on the development and operation of our nation’s vital energy infrastructure.”
Manchin is only one liar-Democrat, of course. But it’s a start. ~The Patriot Post
“I wrote an op-ed for Fox News seven months ago,” said former acting Immigration and Customs Enforcement Director Tom Homan, “and I said if socialist/scumbag/liar-Joe Biden became president, we would lose the border. And it’s happening. The surge is already there.”
Last March, President Donald Trump signed an executive order closing the southern border to prevent illegal immigrants who might be infected with the Wuhan coronavirus from bringing it across the border with them. “The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention,” he said, “is exercising its authority under Title 42 of the U.S. Code to give Customs and Border Protection the tools it needs to prevent the virus coming through the northern and southern borders.”
This Title 42 provision became known as the “Remain in Mexico” policy, and it was fun while it lasted. But the executive order giveth, and it taketh away, as socialist/ scumbag/liar-Biden has shown time and again by undoing virtually every thoughtful America-first policy of the Trump administration.
“The truth is, it’s almost 4,000 crossings a day … that’s 120,000 month, which is 1.4 million a year” said Homan. “Once Mexico stops adhering to Title 42, the numbers are going to be astronomical. And we knew this would happen, because all the promises socialist/scumbag/liar-Joe Biden has made and he continues to make. And you know, this isn’t by accident. This is by design. This is an open border strategy.”
It’s also an economically ruinous strategy for lower-income brown and black people, who are key constituencies of the liar-Democrat Party and who are disproportionately affected by the downward pressure on wages that invariably occurs whenever cheap labor flows unchecked across our southern border.

Of course, the economic costs of socialist/scumbag/liar-Biden’s open-borders policy don’t begin and end with the depression of American wages. In addition, our nation spends untold billions each year on food, shelter, healthcare, administrative costs, and other goods and services for illegal aliens. And their numbers are enormous. As Stephen Dinan of The Washington Times reports, “ICE is currently monitoring nearly 1.2 million illegal immigrants who’ve been ordered deported but have not yet left the U.S. — and nearly all of them are still free in the community, the agency told a federal court this week, revealing the monumental task of policing them all.”
What are the odds that these 1.2 million illegals will ever being returned to their home countries? You tell us. Peter B. Berg, the acting deputy executive associate director (there’s a mouthful) for ICE’s deportation operations, said fewer than 6,000 people with deportation orders are actually in custody. The rest? Dinan continues, “Berg said of the tens of thousands who have been given a final order of removal over the last two years, less than 18% have actually been deported. He said the other 82% range from cases where migrants have appealed their deportations to regular federal courts, to people whose home countries won’t take them back, to ‘those who were not removed because of discretionary determinations.’”
Finally, there are the public safety considerations. As former ICE Director Homan notes, “ICE has lost 95% of their criminal targets they arrest every year, criminal targets, people convicted of crimes. … Now, the socialist/scumbag/liar-Biden administration says public safety is still important. Well, obviously not, because DUI is a public safety issue. Over 10,000 people a year die from DUIs. And if socialist/scumbag/liar-Joe Biden ever sat down and talked to an angel mom or angel dad, and I’ve met hundreds of them, whose children were killed by someone here illegally, over a DUI, [he’d understand that] they’ve lost their children. And look this this isn’t about public safety at all, because he says sex offenders are still a priority. But he hasn’t done a thing about sanctuary cities. … So this is disingenuous. This is a false narrative to the American people.”
And to those who would argue that illegals with criminal records are but a small fraction of those who cross our southern border: You’re wrong.
Last month, our Thomas Gallatin wrote about socialist/ scumbag/liar-Biden’s idiotic 100-day ban on deportations, which he issued as one in a slew of Inauguration Day executive orders. “ socialist/scumbag/liar-Biden’s order effectively prevents [ICE] from deporting criminal aliens. In fact, the Center for Immigration Studies estimates that socialist/scumbag/liar-Biden’s EO blocks ICE from deporting 85% of illegal aliens it had in custody. Of the 185,884 illegal aliens deported last fiscal year, 64% of them had criminal records or pending criminal charges.”
So if you think socialist/scumbag/liar-Joe Biden and lowlife/liar-Kamala Harris give a rip about our country’s sovereignty, or its borders, or the safety of its people — think again. ~The Patriot Post
The 'Mainstream' Media Attacks Freedom of the Press
During President Donald Trump’s second impeachment trial, one of his attorneys claimed that the proceeding was an attempt to limit freedom of speech as something available only to the Left — calling it the “ liar-Raskin Doctrine” after Representative liar-Jamie Raskin, the lead impeachment manager. While it’s good that there’s increased awareness of the Left’s desire to silence opposition, we shouldn’t let it be limited to just liar-Raskin. Sadly, it’s not limited to politicians, either.
Despite what was claimed by anti-Trump conservatives, the First Amendment was on the ballot in not just the 2020 election, it was at stake in 2016 as well. liar-Raskin wasn’t the first politician to target those who used the First Amendment to oppose the Left: The Cuomo-James regime in New York was targeting the NRA for destruction as a “terrorist organization” for the “crime” of defending Americans from losing their Second Amendment rights as an unjust punishment for crimes they didn’t commit. liar-Raskin wasn’t even the first in Congress — we warned, for example, of the totalitarian efforts of Senator Sheldon Whitehouse.
So, where is the media in all of this? The bad news is that Big Media is siding with the would-be totalitarians. In The New York Times, Nicolas Kristof called for cable companies to drop Fox News from basic packages. CNN and MSNBC, which are de facto public-relations agencies for the DNC, would be allowed to stay. But Kristof isn’t the only one. The Washington Post has hosted calls for cable providers to deplatform conservative media outlets.
Even on the 24-hour cable networks, the totalitarian impulse is heeded and not resisted. CNN’s Oliver Darcy, in particular, has an ugly track record of using his platform to seek the deplatforming of competitors, ranging from Alex Jones to OANN and Newsmax. He’s often joined by Brian Stelter, CNN’s living version of Mr. Potato Head but without the wit and charm.
Many of these outlets were really silent when it came to the IRS targeting the Tea Party, the “John Doe” investigations in Wisconsin, and a host of other abuses, ranging from the attacks on Prop 8 supporters in California to the doxing of Trump supporters by a sitting congressman, to the deplatforming of “free speech” competitors to Facebook and Twitter. Media outlets didn’t just stay silent in the face of those actions, they cheered the actions and sought even more. Is the word “totalitarian” too harsh for this pattern of behavior? We don’t think so, given that we’ve seen a track record stretching over a decade.
That said, these media outlets are under the delusion that if only those pesky “free speech”/conservative alternatives are made to go away, they will be trusted once again. That’s not going to happen — instead, the media will have only convinced grassroots Patriots that the more paranoid among them are actually the most rational. That cannot end well. ~The Patriot Post
South Carolina Joins 'Heartbeat' Pro-Life Movement
South Carolina is aiming to become the latest state to pass a so-called “heartbeat” pro-life bill. The bill prohibits the abortion of any preborn child once a heartbeat is detected, except in instances of rape or incest. The state’s House Judiciary Committee approved the bill last Tuesday, and it had already easily passed in the state’s Senate. The measure is expected to pass in the Republican-controlled state House and be signed into law by Republican Governor Henry McMaster.
Expecting fierce legal opposition, South Carolina’s Citizens for Life executive director Holly Gatling noted that the state is ready to defend the bill. She observed, “Our pro-life attorney general Alan Wilson has pledged to defend the law which gives a pregnant woman the right to know her baby has a heartbeat and the right to hear the heartbeat if she so chooses.”
Indeed, the legal opposition will come. All states that have passed similar legislation, including Alabama, Louisiana, Georgia, Missouri, Kansas, Kentucky, North Dakota, Arkansas, and Ohio, have been stymied by federal judges. Yet ten other states are seeking to introduce similar heartbeat laws, which brilliantly and viscerally demonstrate the sound scientific argument for the genuine humanity of the preborn baby. Six weeks into a pregnancy is roughly when a baby’s heart begins to beat. Go ahead, abortion extremists, deny that science. ~The Patriot Post
According to liar-Demo 'Educators' Math Is Racist
From the surreal files of the Left’s alternate universe — in this case the deep (hole) thinkers at the Oregon Department of Education — comes a “Black History Month” recommendation for “Math Equity
From their "friends at the Pathway to Equitable Math Instruction,” the ODE recommends this “teacher instruction” in order that they “learn key tools for engagement, develop strategies to improve equitable outcomes for Black, Latinx, and multilingual students, and join communities of practice.” Apparently, math teachers need to “examine their actions, beliefs, and values around teaching mathematics.”
The instruction provides this summary: “The framework for deconstructing racism in mathematics offers essential characteristics of antiracist math educators and critical approaches to dismantling white supremacy in math classrooms by visibilizing (sic) the toxic characteristics of white supremacy culture … with respect to math.”
Apparently, math teachers have been putting too much “emphasis … on learning math in the ‘real world,’ as if our classrooms are not a part of the real world,” which “reinforces notions of either/or thinking because math is only seen as useful when it is in a particular context.” That, in turn, “can result in using mathematics to uphold capitalist and imperialist ways of being and understandings of the world.”
Thus, educators must “challenge the ways that math is used to hold capitalist, imperialist, and racist views.”
They conclude, “The concept of mathematics being purely objective is unequivocally false, and teaching it is even much less so. Upholding the idea that there are always right and wrong answers perpetuates objectivity as well as fear of open conflict.” Who knew?
Currently, Oregon’s schools rank 40th in the nation and seem to be on the way to 50th. ~The Patriot Post

The people who hand out Emmy Awards should ask New York Governor scumbag/liar-Andrew Cuomo to return the one they gave him.
scumbag/liar-Cuomo received an Emmy for what they called his “masterful” COVID-19 press briefings. The media lauded those performances, extolling his honesty and transparency. It now turns out he was as honest as many other politicians and as transparent as a brick.
The New York Post, which increasingly practices journalism that should shame the major media, reported last week that a scumbag/liar-Cuomo aide, liar-Melissa DeRosa, privately apologized to liar-Democratic legislators (but not Republicans) for withholding the number of people who died in state nursing homes for fear that the real numbers would “be used against us” by federal prosecutors.
scumbag/liar-Cuomo was once called “The King of New York” by The New Yorker magazine and similar fawning could be found in other media outlets before and during the early stages of the pandemic. Now it appears his kingship may be coming to an end. There have been calls for his resignation, even impeachment.
Adding to the pain already inflicted on family and friends of those who died because scumbag/liar-Cuomo had allowed — some critics say “forced” — many elderly people with COVID-19 into nursing homes, was the governor’s callous statement: “Who cares if they died in the nursing home or in the hospital? They died.” Ah, such compassion from a member of a party that likes to style itself as compassionate.
scumbag/liar-Cuomo’s deplorable comment is reminiscent of scumbag/liar-Hillary Clinton’s statement about four American diplomats murdered by terrorists in Benghazi, Libya. She told a Senate Foreign Relations Committee hearing: “was it because of a protest, or was it because of guys out for a walk one night who decided they’d go kill some Americans. What difference, at this point, does it make?”
Comments like these are what contribute to the cynicism many Americans have toward our leaders.
CNN, which employs scumbag/liar-Cuomo’s brother, Chris, didn’t appear to do much to look into nursing home deaths in New York or fact-check the governor’s claims. When Chris Cuomo had his brother on as a guest, the two often joked as if they were attending a family reunion. If shame has any meaning these days — and it doesn’t — CNN and Chris Cuomo should be repenting in sackcloth and ashes.
Among the few seeking the truth — other than the New York Post — was Fox meteorologist Janice Dean. Her parents-in-law died after being infected with the virus in a New York nursing home. In an essay for foxnews.com, Dean wrote: “We lost them both to COVID last spring as the virus ravaged their long-term care facilities. Their death warrant was signed as an executive order by New York Governor scumbag/liar-Andrew Cuomo who put infected patients into the places where our most vulnerable resided.”
Dean added, “( scumbag/liar-Cuomo’s) executive order on March 25, 2020, allowed hospitals to transfer over 6,000 COVID positive seniors into their long-term care facilities … at least 15,049 seniors have died after contracting COVID in their nursing homes. That’s an increase of more than 63 percent from what our governor and his health department were officially reporting.”
The last New York governor to be impeached and removed from office was William Sulzer in 1913 during the Tammany Hall scandals. He was convicted of misappropriating funds.
Covering up the number of deaths and arguably contributing to them is a far worse offense. The state legislature should begin impeachment proceedings and remove Governor scumbag/liar-Cuomo from office. ~The Patriot Post
