For decades now — or at least since the leftist hordes were shouting “Dissent is patriotic!” during the George W. Bush years — the word “patriot” and all its permutations have been off limits to the Left. Not because it’s been forbidden from adopting these terms, but because their meaning is utterly at odds with everything the Left stands for.
Perhaps the last time a Democrat used the term affirmatively was back in 2003, when scumbag/liar-Hillary Clinton shrieked, “I am sick and tired of people who say that if you debate and you disagree with this administration, somehow you’re not patriotic! And we should stand up and say, ‘We’re Americans, and we have the right to debate and disagree with any administration!’”
And so, ever since, they’ve looked askance at anyone who picks up the mantle of “patriot.” More than that, though, they’ve weaponized the word. Think about the Obama years, when one of the primary methods the IRS used for isolating and targeting conservative groups was the appearance of the term “patriot” in their organizational name.
Having thus far failed to banish the red-blooded Patriots from their midst, however, the America-hating Left is now equating patriotism to extremism.
For example, during a recent morning segment on its obsession with QAnon, CBS morning anchor Anne Marie Green asked tech reporter Dan Patterson how people can tell if they’re on an extremist website that can’t be trusted. He answered, “One word to look out for, a key word, is ‘patriot.’”
In essence, “patriot” has replaced “Nazi” insofar as the Left is concerned.
Patriots, of course, are those who love their country; those who put their country before all other countries; those who defend it against their detractors. In other words, Patriots are the mortal enemies of those on the Left — even those in government. As columnist Gary Bauer writes:
Some government agencies, including the Pentagon, are identifying so-called ‘extremists’ by whether they frequently discuss the Constitution. You know, the owner’s manual of our country.
I laughed, but I almost cried the other day, when I read a piece by a liberal New York Times editor. She dared to venture out into the hinterlands of Long Island, New York, and was traumatized when she saw so many “disturbing” American flags on pickup trucks.
We remember that story. In fact, we wrote about it.
“What is happening to our country is a cultural genocide,” Bauer concludes “Leftist elites are attacking and tearing down every symbol of the American Republic. Why? Because … the American Republic is an impediment to the Marxist state they’re trying to force on us.”
All this interests us greatly — and not just because the word “Patriot” appears on our masthead. When Patriots and patriotism are demonized and not defended vigorously, it’s a sign that the nation for which they stand is living on borrowed time. ~The Patriot Post
Simultaneous to our call for the resignation or firing of Gen. Mark Milley, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff (CJCS), for peddling bumble/socialist/scumbag/liar-Joe Biden’s political agenda, Milley and Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin called a press conference in an effort to salvage Milley’s job.
Good try, but no cigar.
My justification for calling out the CJCS was twofold.
First, it was based on his insistence that Critical Race Theory curricula and programs — repackaged Marxist propaganda — should be imposed on the next generation of military leaders at our service academies. This was a promotion of bumble/socialist/scumbag/liar-Biden’s race-hustling agenda at the expense of military unity in the ranks.
Moreover, the second reason Milley should resign is an account by Washington Post reporters Carol Leonnig and Philip Rucker, both of whom are politically sympathetic to Milley, regarding his references to Donald Trump at the time Milley was his CJCS. According to Leonnig and Rucker, among other offenses, Milley referred to Trump’s playbook as “The gospel of the Führer” and his supporters as “brownshirts,” Hitler’s street thugs.
Lt. Gen. Keith Kellogg (USA-Ret.), who served most recently as national security advisor to Vice President Mike Pence, declared that if the WaPo report of Milley’s remarks is accurate, his “comments are seditious” and an abject violation of the Uniform Code of Military Justice. Kellogg said: “I think he’s discredited his position as chairman of the Joint Chiefs. My opinion, and I’ve known Mark a lot of years, he needs to resign or they should remove him.” Kellogg added that Milley “crossed the line,” declaring: “I think he has violated his oath of office. I think he should go.”
Indeed, those remarks, if accurate, constitute a flagrant violation of his oath “to support and defend” our Constitution.
So, are the attributions to Milley accurate?
According to The Washington Post, “Milley repeatedly declined to confirm whether the comments attributed to him … are accurate.” In other words, he declined to deny those comments.
For Milley’s part, in the presser he stated: “The military did not, and will not, and should not ever get involved in domestic politics. We don’t arbitrate elections. That’s the job of the judiciary and the legislature and the American people. It is not the job of the U.S. military. We stayed out of politics. We’re an apolitical institution.”
That is correct — or should be. But was it in his case?
Regarding his oath, he added, “Not one time did we violate … our oath of allegiance to that document, the Constitution, and everything that’s contained within it.”
Actually, short of denying the Post reporters’ account, Milley remains in stark violation of his oath and, consequently, is a more dangerous threat to American Liberty and constitutional Rule of Law than all of the Capitol protesters.
For Austin’s part, he insisted Milley “doesn’t have a political bone in his body.” Then, apparently unable to distinguish the fact that he was directly contradicting that statement, Austin reaffirmed their commitment to Biden’s political agenda: “This department will be diverse. It will be inclusive. … I’m committed to that. This department is committed to that. The chairman’s committed to that.”
Fact is, our military should be, first and foremost, committed to selection and advancement based on character and qualifications, not skin pigmentation. Austin, who is an Alabama native and grew up in Georgia, should recall that Martin Luther King expressed those sentiments. But content of character is out of fashion in bumble/socialist/scumbag/liar-Biden’s regime.
Like SecDef Austin, Milley has a distinguished career and served our country well. But as too often happens with good people once they become DC swamp dwellers, he has been drinking too much woke-flavored Potomac Powerade and is now past his expiration date. Few members of Congress will call for Milley to resign. There are big military contracts that might get diverted to other congressional districts if they overturn that applecart. However, as Lt. Gen. Kellogg declared, “He should go.” ~The Patriot Post
Klobuchar’s Plan for Redlining Speech
In an act that completely ignores the First Amendment, Senator Amy Klobuchar (D-MN) on Thursday introduced a bill that would remove Section 230 liability protection from social media companies that allow the dissemination on their platforms of “misinformation” regarding public health emergencies. Klobuchar justified her speech-squelching legislation by arguing: “Earlier this year, I called on Facebook and Twitter to remove accounts that are responsible for producing the majority of misinformation about the coronavirus, but we need a longterm solution. This legislation will hold online platforms accountable for the spread of health-related misinformation.”
This is just continuing the Left’s efforts to redline conservative speech.
Has Klobuchar even perused Facebook or YouTube recently? Any mention of the coronavirus will automatically produce a COVID informational disclaimer. And Twitter has been one of the most aggressive of the social media giants in stomping out COVID “misinformation,” regularly suspending the accounts of those deemed as having violated the company’s policy. In other words, Big Tech already has been heavily engaged and active in attempting to promote the Left’s “groupthink” narrative when it comes to COVID.
But for Klobuchar and the bumble/socialist/scumbag/liar-Biden administration, it’s not enough because those with other opinions are still able to share them. In fact, the real target of this anti-free speech legislation is political views the Left would not like to have to contend against. Democrats like Klobuchar simply don’t believe in the marketplace of ideas. No, it’s her way or the highway, all wrapped up in the dubious guise of protecting people from “misinformation.”
Furthermore, Big Tech is happy as a clam with this speech-squelching bill, as it would serve to limit competition. If Klobuchar’s bill were to become law (which, given the current makeup of Congress, is an unlikely prospect), smaller startup social media platforms like Parler, Gab, and Gettr — platforms that many conservatives have migrated to because of their commitment to free speech — would be forced into the same censorship, or risk being sued into oblivion.
Recall White House Press Secretary liar-Jen Psaki’s comments last week: “You shouldn’t be banned from one platform and not others for providing misinformation out there.”
Meanwhile, bumble/socialist/scumbag/liar-Joe Biden continues to provide misinformation regarding the coronavirus, among a slew of other things. He erroneously claimed during Wednesday’s town hall event: “You’re not going to get COVID if you have these vaccinations. If you’re vaccinated, you’re not going to be hospitalized, you’re not going to be in the IC unit, and you’re not going to die.”
Oops. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, as of July 12, the official tally of fully vaccinated individuals who have been hospitalized by COVID is 5,189. Furthermore, 1,063 fully vaccinated people have died with COVID. Of course, these statistics don’t reveal other factors such as advanced age and comorbidities, and it’s still a tiny sliver of the 160 million vaccinated Americans. Nevertheless, bumble/socialist/ scumbag/liar-Biden’s claim was false. Literally, as he likes to say.
The Democrats’ “misinformation” gambit is intentionally and ironically misleading. They’re not interested in promoting greater access to information. Rather, they’re interested in policing language and shutting down the ability of people to voice their opposition to politically correct narratives. China Hacks, Russia Expands,
During Donald Trump’s presidency, we kept hearing the feigned worry, “What does Russian President Vladimir Putin have on Trump?” Leftists clung to the “collusion” narrative to the point of derangement. As it turned out, Putin didn’t have anything on Trump, and Trump’s policies vis-à-vis Russia were pretty tough.
Now, the question everyone should be asking is, “What does Chinese President Xi Jinping have on bumble/ socialist/scumbag/liar-Joe Biden?”
Apparently, quite a lot.
Just for a moment, let’s consider something other than the fact that the Chinese communists released a deadly plague on the world, and then lied about it and covered it up.
Earlier this week, Chinese hackers launched a cyberattack that impacted more than a million Microsoft Exchange accounts. The White House blamed China, but what was the response?
The bumble/socialist/scumbag/liar-Biden administration “stopped short of sanctioning Beijing for contracting with hackers,” The Washington Free Beacon reports. “The United Kingdom, European Union, and NATO joined the United States in condemning China for facilitating the March attack on Microsoft Exchange email servers. But President bumble/socialist/scumbag/liar-Joe Biden and State Department spokesman Ned Price dismissed the need for retaliation, causing some lawmakers to question the bumble/socialist/scumbag/liar-Biden administration’s ability to combat hostile foreign actors.”
Secretary of State Atony Blinken admitted that China’s “irresponsible, disruptive, and destabilizing behavior in cyberspace” poses “a major threat to our economic and national security.”
Blinken is right about the seriousness of the situation, but the U.S. is not holding China accountable as he claims. Instead, we’re reaching out to make sure China gets its way on a variety of issues that benefit China.
Again, the Beacon reports: “A bill introduced by House Foreign Affairs Committee chairman Gregory Meeks (D., N.Y.) tucked millions of dollars in taxpayer money into a climate fund intended to boost cooperation with China. Meanwhile, Meeks rejected dozens of Republican measures to toughen the United States’ stance on human rights, the 2022 Olympics, and the defense of Taiwan.”
Any attempt to hold the line with China is rejected by the bumble/socialist/scumbag/liar-Biden administration. China can do as it pleases, and instead of being punished, it’s reaping all the rewards of a weak and submissive U.S. president.
Then again, China knows bumble/socialist/scumbag/liar-Biden is a pushover.
It was revealed this week that from 2011-2013 during the scumbag/liar-nObama/bumble/socialist/scumbag/liar-Biden administration, China hacked into American oil and gas pipeline companies, enabling the ChiComs to do serious damage to our energy infrastructure had they decided to do so.
Clearly, bumble/socialist/scumbag/liar-Biden repeatedly turning the other cheek will only invite China, Russia, and other belligerent nations to attack the U.S. again.
One of China and Russia’s mutual goals is “to create chaos if not shut down the U.S.,” argues Monica Showalter at The American Thinker. “They both know that the U.S. economy is the big vehicle for the U.S. military machine, and shutting it down from time to time, perhaps as dry runs for something truly catastrophic (they already can see that COVID makes our officials go nuts) is a possibility. What better than to shake money out of U.S. corporations through ransomware attacks that create uncertainty and decrease corporate profits?”
Again, it’s not just China playing with America like a cat toying around with a mouse.
The bumble/socialist/scumbag/liar-Biden administration has paved the way for Vladimir Putin’s pipeline project six months after bumble/socialist/scumbag/liar-Biden shut down America’s Keystone Pipeline. Texas Republican Senator Ted Cruz called the deal a “catastrophe” for the United States and our allies, and one that would fill Russia’s treasury with billions for years to come.
Meanwhile, Iran’s involvement in a foiled kidnapping of an Iranian-born U.S. citizen in New York City is yet another example of the bumble/socialist/scumbag/liar-Biden White House failing to hold any of America’s enemies accountable.
As long as a weak, cognitively impaired, and ideologically bankrupt bumble/socialist/scumbag/liar-Joe Biden sits in the Oval Office, our national security is at risk. The president is willing to look the other way when China and Russia attack while making deals that enrich our enemies and leave American citizens vulnerable. Is there anything the left won’t blame on their fantastical scapegoat, climate change? Don’t bet on it. Their latest dodge is blaming the border crisis, which they created, on the climate crisis, which they invented.
A Politico article is headlined, “It’s Not a Border Crisis. It’s a Climate Crisis.” That’s a convenient twofer. Never let an opportunity to blame a crisis on climate change go to waste. Well played.
But to the left, I guess the border catastrophe isn’t a crisis. How could you support open borders and think that the invasion by invitation is a crisis? How could America-resenting leftists regard the influx of millions of new Democrat voters as a crisis? It would be like the Democrats being apoplectic over federal spending. Nope. Not gonna happen. If only these migrants knew that leftist policies are on the way to turning this country into a socialist state – you know, the kind they’re escaping from.
But let’s quit playing games. This is very serious and getting more so every day. U.S. Customs and Border Protection reported that June border apprehension numbers reached a 21-year high, with more than 188,000 arrests and more than 1.1 million this year to date.
Even more troubling: This is not a seasonal spike as Democrats have been saying. The numbers of crossings usually rise in the spring and then recede in the summer, but the numbers are still increasing. At this rate, we’ll break the 2006 record. President bumble/socialist/ scumbag/liar-Joe Biden and his faithful party continue to deny, obfuscate and deceive, but none of their rationalizations hold water – and they know it.
This is a crisis purely of their making; reversing President Donald Trump’s border policies, emasculating Immigrations and Customs Enforcement, and rolling out the red carpet for illegals is hardly going to deter attempted crossings. Indeed, we can trace these endless crossing spikes directly to these and Biden’s other wanton policies of scrapping the “Remain in Mexico” policy, ending border wall construction and supporting the scumbag/liar-nObama-era Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals.
Not that you would expect the left to be consistent, but they sure are fair-weather opponents of COVID-19. Just as they never objected to maskless left-wing rioters or fleeing Texas Democrat lawmakers, they seem wholly indifferent to the hazards of COVID-19-infected migrants. No, actually, they are worse than indifferent. Here, they are COVID-19 enablers, given their plan to end Title 42, the law Trump invoked to refuse entry to immigrants with the virus. This, despite knowing and even admitting that this action will cause a new influx of migrants and possibly result in Homeland Security having to process up to 1,200 family units a day. COVID-19 infection rates in emergency shelters for migrant youth are reportedly between 15% and 20%.
You don’t have to be a cynic to know that Democrats are pushing amnesty for reasons other than human compassion. And their methods are brazen and obscene. They are trying to sneak a “pathway to citizenship” into their reckless $3.5 trillion budget plan ostensibly to support families and generate job growth. Never mind their audacity in pretending to be pro-jobs when their endless government handouts are keeping people from seeking employment and exacerbating the plight of businesses starved for workers. Never mind that amnesty will encourage even more migrants to stampede toward our border. But to include amnesty provisions in an infrastructure bill is insultingly deceitful.
Could an unintended consequence of bumble/socialist/ scumbag/liar-Biden’s border disaster be a reconciliation between the Bushes and Trumps? Don’t be silly. Let’s not get carried away. But it is noteworthy that George P. Bush, Texas land commissioner and nephew of former President George W. Bush (no immigration hawk by anyone’s estimation), has sued the bumble/socialist/ scumbag/liar-Biden administration for ending border wall construction in his state. “Farmers and ranchers are long accustomed to illegal activity, but it’s reached a point where it’s not sustainable, and we need help from the federal government,” said Bush.
Well, what do you know! Isn’t it interesting, by the way, that in opposing the wall, Democrats claimed it was cruel and ineffective. How can it be cruel if it is ineffective? Why go to the trouble of tearing it down if it wasn’t working? Oh, that’s right. It was working. Kudos to Texas Gov. Greg Abbott for his initiative to build a wall, and bravo to all those cruel people who donated $400,000 to the project in the first week. I wonder if they think it will be ineffective.
As the left and Democratic elected officials continue their scorched-earth assault on reasonable and sane public policies, hopefully more states and private individuals and entities will exercise self-help to combat this lunacy. ~The Patriot Post

A U.S. Olympic athlete said that our national anthem wasn’t her national anthem. The overwhelming majority of the U.S. Women’s Soccer team took a knee Wednesday during our national anthem. In my opinion, they shouldn’t call themselves a U.S. team if they disrespect our flag.
Charlottesville, Virginia, quietly removed a statue of Robert E. Lee recently. But they didn’t stop there. They also removed statues of the famous explorers Lewis and Clark, and their Native American interpreter Sacagawea.
Some of us will laugh. But this is all deadly serious.

Speaking Of Marxism…
Virtually all normal Americans seeing the turmoil in Cuba know exactly what’s going on there. Cubans are demonstrating against the communist government because they want freedom.
The progressive left of the Democrat Party said the problems in Cuba aren’t caused by socialism and Marxism, but are the result of American sanctions. The bumble/socialist/scumbag/liar-Biden White House initially refused to condemn socialism and said the demonstrations were about COVID.
A new Rasmussen poll shows the American people aren’t buying the left’s spin. Fifty-nine percent said Cubans were protesting communism. Twenty percent said the discontent was due to American sanctions. Rasmussen doesn’t put it this way, but apparently the remaining 21% didn’t know there was something going on in Cuba.
What really got my attention was that 67% of Republicans said it was a revolt against communism, as did 61% of Independents. But only 49% of Democrats said the protests had anything to do with communism.
That’s why the White House had such a hard time clearly condemning communism and supporting freedom for the Cuban people. And it probably had something to do with why the administration was so quick to tell Cubans not to come to the United States. The last thing the neo-Marxists of the Democrat Party want is a bunch of people who hate communism coming here.

President bumble/socialist/scumbag/liar-Biden did a CNN town hall event Wednesday night, and said a lot of things I could comment on. But I’ll limit myself to what was perhaps his biggest lie of the evening.
Don Lemon asked bumble/socialist/scumbag/liar-Biden, “How do you respond to Republicans who say you and your party are anti-police?” bumble/socialist/scumbag/liar-Biden said, “They’re lying.”
I want to reiterate the truth again so you’ll be ready to respond when your liberal family member or confused friend at church or work repeats bumble/socialist/ scumbag/liar-Biden’s outrageous lie.
Multiple cities — Austin, Baltimore, Los Angeles, Minneapolis, New York, Philadelphia, Portland, St. Louis, Seattle, Washington, D.C., and more — urged on by the liberal media and virtually the entire Democrat Party infrastructure including bumble/socialist/scumbag/liar-Joe Biden, made drastic cuts to police budgets in the name of social justice. No one can deny this.
Every one of those cities is politically dominated by Democrats. Most haven’t had Republican mayors or city councils in decades.
The defunding of the police is solely, only, totally and entirely pushed by powerful urban Democrat Party machines. It’s cheerleaders in Congress include Democrat darlings like socialist/commie/liar-AOC, scumbag/worthless-Ilhan Omar and scumbag/worthless-Rashida Tlaib. But it’s worse than that.
In addition to police officers being laid off, fired or handcuffed in their duties, there has been a constant campaign to demonize and demoralize police officers. They are routinely accused of being cogs in a “systemically racist” criminal justice system.
They have been called “pigs,” “fascists,” “killers,” “KKK sympathizers,” “storm troopers,” etc. Some leftists have threatened to kill them. Their children have been harassed at schools. Their homes have been vandalized.
All of this is being done by the increasingly powerful left-wing juggernaut, including the left-wing media, left-wing school teachers and left-wing politicians in our big cities.
In short, it’s all the people who worked together to elect bumble/socialist/scumbag/liar-Joe Biden and scumbag/liar-Kamala Harris. bumble/socialist/ scumbag/liar-Joe Biden knows this. Don Lemon knows this. They are the ones lying to you. And the Democrats defunding the police are a bunch of hypocrites, too.
Quid Pro bumble/socialist/scumbag/liar-Joe?
President bumble/socialist/scumbag/liar-Joe Biden, that famous hater of American energy pipelines, is set to formally end U.S. opposition to a natural gas pipeline from Russia to Germany. The pipeline is opposed by Congress and our allies in Poland and Ukraine. But bumble/socialist/scumbag/liar-Biden is intent on punishing the American energy industry while rewarding Putin and the Russian energy industry.
Of course, we’ll never know for certain due to the bumble/socialist/scumbag/liar-Biden Administration’s lack of transparency, but I wouldn’t be surprised if some Russian oligarch buys one of corrupt/liar-Hunter Biden’s $500,000 paintings to say “Thank you” for bumble/ socialist/scumbag/liar-Biden’s gift to Putin.
It Wasn’t An Error
Wednesday we told you about the radical critical race theory guide from the Abolitionist Teaching Network (ATN) that the bumble/socialist/scumbag/liar-Biden Administration sent out to all 13,000 U.S. school districts. Administration spokesmen brushed off the controversy, claiming it was an “error.” That’s another lie. It wasn’t an error.
It turns out that two bumble/socialist/scumbag/liar-Biden appointees at the Department of Education have ties to ATN: Deputy Education Secretary Cindy Marten and Assistant Secretary for Policy Development Donna Harris-Aikens. They aren’t exactly low-level staffers who just didn’t know any better.
Marten paid ATN’s co-founder, Professor Bettina Love, $11,000 for a speaking event when she ran the San Diego school system. Love also spoke last year to the National Education Association, where Harris-Aikens previously served as a senior director.
Brace yourselves. There’s going to be a lot more “errors” in the weeks and months ahead as these extremists push radical Marxist ideology in our schools.
Really Sour Cream
Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream, always looking for some left-wing so-called “human rights” cause to get behind, surveyed the world and after much huffing and puffing it decided to boycott — wait for it — Israel. Not communist China. Not Syria. Not Iran. Not Russia.
If you needed more evidence of the growing anti-Semitism and anti-Israel sentiment on the political left, there it is.
You don’t have to get into the intricacies of foreign policy to understand this. The only thing you need to know to understand that this is motivated by something other than human rights is that Israel is the most decent, most tolerant, most democratic, most multicultural country in the entire Middle East.
So, if you’re Ben & Jerry’s you need to do a “bigot check” because the only thing that could lead you to join the boycott, divestment and sanctions (BDS) movement against Israel is if you’re anti-Semitic and won’t admit it.
Pro-Israel store owners are throwing Ben & Jerry’s products out of their stores. I urge you to throw out that container of Ben & Jerry’s in your freezer. There are plenty of other ways to clog your arteries without supporting anti-Semitism. ~The Patriot Post
