According to a couple of websites I've noted lately, it seem the exodus of residents from California may cause that state to lose some seats in the House.
State unilateral Secession?
It takes the cooperation of the states in the Union to accept a territory petition for statehood.
The reverse could be extrapolated, I suppose.
But for a new state to take benefit of the relationship, and then balk when collective controversy is disagreeable to it specifically......NO!
There is a word for a woman who does that with men, one by one.
States ought not to expect individualized deference here.
Finally, ......... and it's about time that the SCOTUS stood up for our President's push back on sanctuary states and cities. They are NOT entitled to additional representation and power in our Congress by virtue of their brazen disregard for and violation of federal immigration law. Now let's just hope and pray that they have the guts and integrity to challenge the election corruption and chicanery in the swing states that has fraudulently convinced some of the US electorate that old Lunchbox Quid Pro Quo Joe Biden is the president-elect.

Hey, it`s time to stand up to these politicians. If you`re not here legally you need to be removed from the USA. Taken off the voter`s roles food stamps housing vouchers free medical your kids don`t deserve public schooling. You illegals brought this on yourselves not us. Our people need our tax dollars. Try coming into the USA the legal way. We the American owe you nothing we have been too nice about letting you stay as long as you have. You go on = yeah but our family has been here for 25 years? Well look at it as a gift and get the hell out before we remove you by force.
If you are an American leaving in Mexico your children are not allowed to go to public school, you are not allowed to owed private property, you don't have medical insurance, you are not allowed to vote and all illegal want these from our tax dollars.
This is not a win. The SC already screwed us over on this issue.
I worked the census, we were NOT allowed to ask about citizenship because the SC refused to allow Trump to put the question on the census. So how the devil are we going to know how many illegal aliens are in the country and what districts they are in?
Not only that but NO person that is not a citizen should be counted for official business.
We have no idea how many are in the country or where they are at because the SC refused to let the census document citizenship.
In 1986 when the amnesty bill passed we were told that about 1 million illegals would be eligible for the amnesty, turned out there were over 3 million that got it.
Now we are being told there are 20 million of them in the country, if they are as far off the count as they were in 1986 then there is probably over 80 million illegal aliens.
Having lived in California since 1955, I can tell you that the influx of illegals over all those decades was enormous! And they do NOT assimilate! They even plot together, (a legal Mexican immigrant told me this) to NOT TO LEARN TO SPEAK ENGLISH, to force citizens to learn to speak Spanish. They demonstrate in large groups for "their rights". My grandmother came to this country through Ellis Island. She did it the honest and hard way. She never asked for welfare or any kind of assistance! She and my grandfather, who came here from Canada on a work permit, loved this country so much. They would never do anything to bring it down!
These are the only type of immigrants we should have here. The rest should be made to leave!
