Whenever insanity becomes the driving force in government... it is time to consider seceding from such a government. The several States of the Union are not permanently joined at the hip... secession is not prohibited by the Constitution.
The US Constitution is a contract between the consenting SOVERIGN States of the Union, known as the United States of America... As such, when serious disagreements arise and mutual consent is unable to settle such disagreements, the contract may be dissolved by similar agreement or consent... and if need be... by force of the soverign will of the participating States or State.
America and its several States being the product of the People's consent have arrived at an impasse in governance... such that the continued consent to be governed has been broached by the criminal conduct of major parties to the contract. The resulting rift between the States and the Public is now critical. There exist FUNDAMENTAL disagreements in the Constitution and its application in law. So great are the differences that no peaceful resolution is possible. As one party resorted to Electoral Fraud, usurping the consent of the people to be governed. This breach of the law will not be tolerated, by several of the member States, and after seeking recourse in the courts the offended party finds them corrupt and unable to properly address the facts and the law. Hence, there is a call to secede echoing loudly in the halls of several State Legislatures.
It is time for the offended and oppressed States to form a 'Secession Caucus' in both houses of the Congress of the United States... to formally examine their secession from the Union and the formation of new governments based on the principals and needs of their citizens. It is time for the States to separate themselves from the criminal cabal operating as the federal government of the United States. It is with great trepidation such an undertaking is needed, but we must all request our State Legislatures to formally announce their exit from the Union... by peaceful and lawful, negotiated means, if possible, and by their soverign will if not.

Good Idea... call them up and see how that works. Look they need the union in order to have a productive work force capable of feeding the scum they raise and support... without productive labor in a working capitalist society they all go bankrupt in a hurry. They are not going to secede and will do everything possible to stop productive states from leaving the Union.
I understand but doesn't seem right that we have to leave, not them.
People keep talking about the next election making things right but the dems will just cheat again. So we wait for then another election.
Secession is the only answer. It has gotten too bad to fix.

If it impoverishement for Socialism worked in first world Weimar Germany, it can be done here with Separate states.
They would be easier to impoverish to promote a socialist scheme, or pick off in a color revolution.
The impoverishment is already present in every state... socialism is not coming, nor has it recently arrived... it is now the DOMINANT force in both State and Federal Government. Seceding from the Union now is to secede from a socialist/Marxist State... Lincoln would agree, under such conditions the 9th and 10th Amendments become primary and operative... giving the States and People the right to secede... a God-given right to consent to their government.
By seceding the people are not leaving the UNION... the Union left them long ago. Instead, they are honoring our heritage and the Constitution by establishing a new Constitutional Republic.
There will be no honest elections ever again since communists have gotten away with stealing this one! Our only hope is that God will send true patriots a Moses to lead us and unite us in order to save Free America!
I wish everyone would stop referring to FELONY CONDUCT as CHEATING... Election fraud is very serious. Cheating is what our children do on tests or when copying other's homework. The left uses the term to trivialize a major felony and their undermining of our democracy ... as cheating?

Also: We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.
I am thinking that this sense of "union" is not marital, but governmental.
The Constitutions inviolable connection to the idea of "UNION" and the United States, seems clear Sir.
First of all the Constitution gives no such right to secede. The States are not soverign, that was given up when the founders replaced the Articles of Confederation with the Constitution ' In order to form a More Perfect Union'. What they had prior did not work well at all, in peace or in war. And they knew it. The Constitution was designed to correct the weak Articles of Confederation, not reinforce them.
Andrew Jackson rightly stated that ' The States were not soverign. The people are'. The States by contract are no longer the preponderate, dominate and paramount authority in governance. The Constitution is, it is the Law of the Land. New States were not allowed in the Union by claiming the Union was subject to them. They agreed to the Constitutional provisions, and asked to be admitted. The only way a State could secede is if ALL the other States were in agreement. All States are members bound by contract between all of them.
It is a Union. Not an association. Not a club. Not a group where you can take all your marbles and just go home. It is a single Nation.
Our enemies, such as communist China are well aware of our weaknessess. They study us to find them. Many of them know more about the Constitution than we do. We are examined, scrutinized, searched for where we are vulnerable. They attend the same schools, colleges and universities that we do. The same Law schools. And the idea of secession plays right into their hands.
Jeff Davis and company were smart, capable in many ways, people who studied our founding. But they apparently did not understand it. If they had looked at it objectively they would have known that the confederation conjured up by them would ultimately fail. And it did. A bloody mess. They were composed of soverign states, who formed their own militias. Many would not even serve under the authority of another commander who was not from the same state as they were.
One other thing. A Free people can only maintain that condition by protecting the Union that protects it. Our government officials have been the problem. Are the problem. Not the Union. Not America itself. Civil War is not the solution. And the parts are not greater than the whole. The founders knew this, and gave us the Constitutional Union rather than a weak confederation.
"I Pledge allegiance to the Flag, and to the Republic for which it stands." Secession is not part of my promise. I hope it is not yours either.
My view.
First, the right to secede is God-given... not constitutionally ordained. It is based on the right of the People to choose the form or forms of government that bests fulfill's their will and needs. The 9th and 10 Amendment guarantees that right as it is not either disparaged, prohibited, or reserved to others by the US Constitution.
Next, the People are the sovereigns and the State is their instrument and the agent of the People's sovereignty... the left would have us believe we are not individuals with the right to choose our course in life. God made us sovereigns over our lives, not the State or the Constitution. We the People hereby do ordain this Constitution... the Constitution did not ordain the right of the People to form their government, that right came from the Creator... read the Constitution.
Finally, the right of a soverign people to secede is God-given... and when expressed by their State Legislatures and Governor it becomes the express will of the People. The Constitution says nothing about secession, it doesn't prohibit it or grant it. However, the 9th and 10th Amendments to the US Constitution clearly state:
The 9th Amendment:
"The enumeration in the Constitution, of certain rights, shall not be construed to deny or disparage others retained by the people."
The 10th Amendment:
"The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people."
Both the 9th and 10th Amendments establish a Constitutional right to secession by a State... the use of force to mandate a State's continued affiliation as a member of the United States is not Constitutional, The 9th and 10th Amendments give that right to the several States and the People... PERIOD.
History and the Civil War don't alter the original intent of the US Constitution... The US Constitution is the product of CONSENT by the People and when that consent is withdrawn the contract is void... Those states and People choosing to remain in the contract have no Constitutional basis to compel the retention of another soverign State or People to do so. PERIOD. The Civil War was an extension of aggression and the use of force of arms to negate the Constitutional right to secede from the Union. See the 9th and 10th Amendment above.
