I can't say for sure, but I think what we are seeing there is Google's attempt at domination of information by supplying content to gazillions of side panel frames on zillions of web sites. At first, Silicon Valley and Redmond got away with this by calling it advertising. We call it click-baiting. The idea here is, if we keep seeing Joe looking somewhat presidential, eventually we'll forget all about the issue. Most things world communism, start off innocently enough.
