    • RIsk, Imagination, and effort go nowhere without leadership, effective organization, resourcing, and planning...  All of these essentials are lacking in our movement.  negative thinking... No!  It is a realistic assessment of the problems keeping our movement from success.  We must FIRST resolve these problems before we can be an effective political force.  It is counterproductive to go off half-cocked and unprepared to do what is required to secure our goals.  However, that is what the conservative Patriot has been doing for decades.

    • Great political movements need great leaders and require massive resourcing... lack of either will certainly result in failure. The People... the MOB must be motivated and inspired before they will act. Poor leadership results in poor response and outcomes.

OUR CAUSE DOESN"T SUFFER FOR LACK OF SOLUTIONS or courses of action... it suffers from terrible leadership and broken trust... The MOB will simply not respond with the types of resistance needed to effect positive change. It is not the naysayers... it's LEADERSHIP PERIOD. The few potential leaders are all too often at odds... fighting among themselves on how to proceed, this must stop. We must have UNIFIED COMMAND... central authority to commit to a plan of action and its proper resourcing... frankly that is not happening and has never happened in my lifetime.

I find it appalling that we find such a short supply of real leaders ... and commitment to the success of our cause to return Constitutional Government. It is as if our leaders have set us up for failure.  Are our frustrations and anger being managed by disingenuous leaders? Frankly, disappointment and betrayal are the hallmarks of past efforts... discouraging any future effort. We can not afford to fail any longer... the consequences are too dire.

It is time for the RED STATE Governors and legislatures to stand up and LEAD... time for a convention of Red States committed to reforms that will return our federal government to its original scope and size... too, return it to its constitutional role and NO MORE. The keys to reform lie in the leadership and resourcing of that task at hand and so far it has been woefully wanting in both areas.

I leave you with this thought... the American People instinctively know a winner when they see and hear them.. they know the difference between a Chinese fire drill and an effective organization. We are a productive people with a history of success and we routinely expect our leaders to hold to the greater good than too personal empowerment or aggrandizement. They have been so demoralized by failed leadership and mountains of betrayal.  A continuous stream of betrayals and failures has created a culture of failure, rather than success... Think about that for a while and then ask why we don't see the people rising up in mass demanding reforms.

    • Absolutely!  We conservatives must learn to think outside the box in which we've been trapped!  We must get out of our comfort zones, create a new paradigm for political victory in the USA.and then implement it.  We have the right set of objectives.  We lack the vehicle to win those objectives.  To create that vehicle is why we need to bust out of the box!

    • Exactly! And I agree we need to be more active and aware what's going on in the government because we are not living in the past anymore.

  • For four decades now we have let the Department of Education (started by Jimmy Carter) educate or indoctrinate our children without any guidance from us, the voters.  Now we have a generation of voters who hate America because that is what they have been taought.  Couple this with the "get rich quick" congress and you have nothing you can recognize from thirty years ago.  We desperately need term limits, a abolishment of Lobbying to elected officials, and stiff pentalities for those caught lobbying.  We need to scrub all voter rolls, require picture identificatio for voting, no early voting, and no counting votes that come in after election day.  We need to wake up or we are going to lose our country to the socialists.  We are headed toward Argentina.

    • Agree with all.  Who will make any of that happen?  You can't possibly believe that Republicans will, can you?  How long has that been tried?

We also have DHS, which is there to contain us, ultimately.  Ditto the EPA, thanks very little President Nixon.  The Dept of Energy, which neither produces nor finds "energy".  CDC, which seems mostly there to create diseases or amplify existing ones.  Can't think of any disease they have ever controlled or why the private sector ever needed them for that, can you?  FDA, seems to exist to shake down pharmaceuticals.  But seems as if the pharmaceuticals have shown them a better way, $, and now run the FDA.  NIH.  What the heck does that do??  How has it ever benefited the US citizenry?  IRS with more than 74,000 pages of tax code.  Why so many?  Only to confuse us so we cannot understand how it shelters the elites and dispenses the poor from having any skin in the game.

There's an awful lot to do.  What force do the millions and millions of us who want it done, have to represent us and make it happen??

  • Merry Christmas to you all!

    • Merry Christmas to you, Lynn!

    • And a Merry Christmas to you and yours... may God shine His countenance upon thee and be with thee, now and forever... Amen

  • Just to put perspective on the "Times." 1960: Minimum Wage $1.25 p/hr, average annual income $5,600, rent average $70 per month, average cost of home $12,000, the average cost of a car was $2,760, there were between 4-11 billionaires in the World, the National Debt was 289 Billion or $1572.00 for each Citizen. College/University $1,400-2,00 per year. In 1990 Minimum Wage $4.25 per/hr, average annual income $58,000, average rent $450 per month, average cost of home $79,000, the average cost of a car was $15,500, there were 71 billionaires in the World, the National Debt was 3.665 Trillion or $14,500 for each Citizen. College/University averaged $6,000-8,000 per year. In 2020 Minimum Wage $7.25 per hour, average income $67,500, average rent $1,125 per month, average cost of home $375,000, the average cost of a car was $45,000, there were 2750 Billionaires in the World, the National Debt was $28.9 Trillion with a $87,600 for each Citizen, College/University averaged $12,000-14,500. And in 2020 half the Members of Congress were Millionaires.
