Washington, DC National Guard members have received a notice to be prepared to assist local law enforcement ahead of a potential trucker convoy headed to the nation’s capital, according to two sources.
The notice, obtained by Breitbart News, stated that the D.C. National Guard Land Component Command will be “encamped” beginning February 22 “for forthcoming ‘Trucker protest.'” One source explained that the term “encamp” is similar to “occupy an area.”
According to the notice, the National Guard will encamp through Monday, March 7. The notice stated that soldiers were already on standby to support the State of the Union address, which is scheduled for March 1.
A separate notice stated that the encampment could last longer than March 7, and would be in support of the D.C. Homeland Security and Emergency Management Agency and the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD).
The notices, sent Friday, indicated the mission has not yet been formally approved by Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin.

Biden will be treating the U.S. truckers exactly as Trudeau is treating the Canadian truckers. Infact Trudeau is getting his marching orders from the Globalist run Biden administration. This will only lead to government takeover here too! I think a far better way to beat this Soros social aggression is to stay home, just park it! DO NOT TRANSPORT ANYTHING, which was the idea behind this strike in the first place. Let these dictators own it! BTW, those truckers must have a viable reason to stay off the highway or they will be caught up in legal suits. It must have to do with safety to the individual commercial truckers.

There would be no money lost except for income which they are already losing, and the donations from around the world could easily pay for that. This phenomenon is growing world wide. We don’t want this movement destroyed by out-of-control Socialist Governments like Canada & the U.S.
Btw, most of those trucks are financed at some level by the Bank of Canada and they do NOT want those trucks back!! If these trucks AND truckers are lost because of Government mandates, intervention & overreach, those banks WILL get the trucks back, the Commerce in Canada WILL STOP and Canada WILL GO BANKRUPT, PERIOD!

Excellent points and I agree... truckers should just shut down and stay home until the Government relents and reforms... such strikes should be organized and have recognized leaders capable of negotiating terms to return to work... too, demand legislation and other reforms be passed ... withholding transport services until their demands are met. Wild-cat strikes don't make for negotiating settlements... they merely draw attention to abuses and then go away without resolving the problem.
I'm hopeful our truckers who are on their way starting today learned from what is happening in Canada.
I have no doubt the halfwit is ready and willing to do whatever it takes to brake their truckers backs, I'm not even ruling out the use of the military. We need to make sure we stand with the truckers, take them food, money, diesel, and make sure they can outlast the government. If they shut down transport, the country will come to a stop.....the stores will be empty, people will be really pissed, hopefully they will be clear where to direct their anger.
