China has warned that World War Three could be triggered 'at any time' after it sent dozens of warplanes into Taiwan's airspace.

An article in the state-backed Global Times newspaper on Tuesday said that 'collusion' between the US and Taiwan was so 'audacious' that the situation 'has almost lost any room for manoeuvre, teetering on the edge of a face-off.'

It claimed that the people of China were ready to back all-out war with the US, warning the island nation against 'playing with fire'.

Almost 150 Chinese warplanes have breached Taiwan's airspace since Friday, including 56 jets on Monday in a dramatic escalation of Chinese aggression against the self-governing democracy.

Joe Biden said he had spoken to Chinese President Xi Jinping about Taiwan and they agreed to abide by the Taiwan agreement as tensions continue to ratchet up between Taipei and Beijing.

'I've spoken with Xi about Taiwan. We agree...we'll abide by the Taiwan agreement,' Biden said to reporters at the White House on Tuesday.

However, that call took place on September 9 and it's not clear what agreement he was referring to.

  • When History is studied, it is quickly discovered that Great/Powerful Empires last only as long that the expand and conquer smaller, weaker Empires. When Two equally strong civilizations conflict with only one remaining, that Empire shrinks and becomes vulnerable to lesser Organized Groups of Peoples and Fall. History proves that in a War against China, should China win, nothing would be left of the carcass of the United States to pick the bones. If the United States should win, there would be nothing left of profit in China. In either case, each side would be so depleted and weakened as to be vulnerable against submission against what was a lessor foe. As it currently stands both use the potential for War as "Unifying Validation" in control and taxing of their citizens.

  • Alas Ron, Look at just how many unwanted teen pregnancies began with the words, "I Promise!"

  •  The propaganda starts.... as the PRC and US Marxists interests twist the guarantees made by the US to support the peaceful existence of Taiwan and a diplomatic solution to the One China concept...

The agreement between Taiwan and the US is known as the Taiwan Relations Agreement (TRA)... the following is s summary of the US's DEFENSIVE OBLIGATIONS with Taiwan:

"The Taiwan Relations Act does not guarantee the U.S. will intervene militarily if the PRC attacks or invades Taiwan nor does it relinquish it, as its primary purpose is to ensure the US's Taiwan policy will not be changed unilaterally by the president and ensure any decision to defend Taiwan will be made with the consent of Congress. The act states that "the United States will make available to Taiwan such defense articles and defense services in such quantity as may be necessary to enable Taiwan to maintain sufficient self-defense capabilities". However, the decision about the nature and quantity of defense services that America will provide to Taiwan is to be determined by the President and Congress. America's policy has been called "strategic ambiguity", and it is designed to dissuade Taiwan from a unilateral declaration of independence, and to dissuade the PRC from unilaterally unifying Taiwan with the PRC."

The Act further stipulates that the United States will "consider any effort to determine the future of Taiwan by other than peaceful means, including by boycotts or embargoes, a threat to the peace and security of the Western Pacific area and of grave concern to the United States".

The act requires the United States to have a policy "to provide Taiwan with arms of a defensive character", and "to maintain the capacity of the United States to resist any resort to force or other forms of coercion that would jeopardize the security, or the social or economic system, of the people on Taiwan." Successive U.S. administrations have sold arms to Taiwan in compliance with the Taiwan Relations Act despite demands from the PRC that the U.S. follow the legally non-binding Three Joint Communiques and the U.S. government's proclaimed One-China policy (which differs from the PRC's interpretation of its one-China principle)."  quoted from Taiwan Relations Act - Wikipedia  with additional citations footnoted in Wikipedia

The act is full of ambiguity, a trademark of the Jimmy Carter Administraion, which negotiated the agreement and shepherded it thru Congress. President Jimmy Carter unilaterally nullified the Sino-American Mutual Defense Treaty, which the United States had signed with the ROC in December 1954 and was ratified by the U.S. Senate in February 1955.  This DEFENSE TREATY commits the US to defend the Republic of China aka Taiwan... and may still be legally binding, as no President may unilaterally end a treaty.

Goldwater and his co-filers of the Supreme Court case Goldwater v. Carter argued that the President required Senate approval to terminate a TREATY, under Article II, Section II of the U.S. Constitution, and that, by not doing so, President Carter had acted beyond the powers of his office. The case ultimately was dismissed as non-justiciable, leaving open the constitutional question regarding a president's authority to dismiss a treaty unilaterally.  Given the ambiguity of the TRA and the illegal abrogation of the Sino-American Mutual Defense Treaty pledging US forces to the Defense of the ROC/Taiwan, there remains a very big question on what is our legal and moral obligation to the ROC/Taiwan?

    • Carter didn't stop there he also managed to give IRAN to the radical Islamist... betraying the Shaw who was firmly in the US Camp... Carter is just a hair width higher on the scale of competency than Biden.

    • Think what the half-wit could do!

Iran was one of the best educated nations in the world, very westernized in dress and mentality, and a stroke of a pen set them back to the dark ages!

  • Managed my whole life without Sevants, and see no need to start with a bunch of Chinese ones now! Thanks anyway Cameron.

  • Maybe that was the China/Biden plan all the time. AMERICA, China want to live in your house!

    • I raised the question after Husain was placed into the WH, what if China should decide to collect on our debt? Since the POS is a committed communist, an enemy to the USA, where would his allegiance be?
We can't pay because china isn't interested in our money, that's just fancy paper.
They aren't interested in gold either, by now they probably have a stash bigger than ours.
Land on the other hand is a whole different thing, and the west coast of America is pretty good looking, several states out there have a ton of natural resources. Alaska alone with all the oil is something China craves and needs desperately. Once settled, it's just a matter of time, and China has time, like the Muslims, they multiply and conquer! China doesn't want to rule, China wants to own the world!

What if China wanted everything west of the Mississippi? Maps are drawn with pencils not pens, the borders are ever changing. Look at the world in just the 1900s and how many borders changed, it is not something limited only to the rest of the world, it could happen to us! It takes weak men, traitors, dealers, and the POS is a dealer, so is the half-wit. Honor means nothing to either, they are power hungry fools! In 1920 the borders of the hungarian kingdom (a large, powerful country) changed, the country lost 72% of its land area, became landlocked! THINK ABOUT THAT! It was done with a stroke of a pen.....no war, no blood shed, a decision by Western Europe, the League of Nations.....which was replaced by the UN! How much of the world would love to see America a shadow of its original greatness, how much of the world would love to see America small and powerless, how much the UN would love to take part in that negotiation to grant itself more power? Too crazy? Look how much we have lost in the last 50 years!

    • You are right on the money about China !!

  • Excellent idea Ron. And not at all an expensive one to initiate. Semiconductors are basically uncomplicated and easily reverse engineered. The immediate monetary gains would far outweigh any financial losses incurred through litigation from "Copyright Infringement." (Not an unfair payback on our part!) Plus we readily have the Available Talent, Materials, Machines, Means of Assembly/Delivery, and Buildings.
