I don't get that... "Nazis" in Ukraine? trying to destabilize Russia? 8-year war? Neither is there any explanation of why there is any US/EU involvement there.

Russia has nohting to gain by antagonizing the US/EU. They want to be trade partners with the EU, selling gas and oil Why would they, ranked 13th among nations in terms of economic strength, wish to alienate those markets? And as for attacking Ukraine, where the nation-state called "Russia" was founded centuries ago, why would they wish to kill those people and take over a hostile population bent on revenge for the deaths of their friends and families? That makes no sense either.
So, it comes down to, what provoked the attack? Surely Putin's people knew what was going on and they decided to take action before Ukraine was totally militarized and/or made a NATO ally -- as if we need NATO for anything. Because Russia has no designs on taking Europe and couldn't if it wanted to, NATO's purpose could only be an alliance, not to defend against Russia, but to attack it at some point., if not by over miltiary means. Looks to me as if Putin took pre-emptive defensive actions.
Russia's great sin is that it opposes the "Great Reset". It does not want to be controlled by the UN or other "world government" setup, nor does it wish to lose its unique culture and etc. This creates a problem for the elites in the USA/EU who are "reset" proponents. Because of that, those Western powers sought to use Ukraine as a base from which to agitate regime change in Russia, so that a puppet could be installed to assist with their disgusting "reset".. Note also the CIA-arranged coup d'etat in Russian border state, Kazakhstan, back in January. It failed, but its intent was likely the same: to install a puppet president, militarize Kazakhstan and use it as yet another base from which to harrass and destabilize the Putin regime.
Vilifying Russia began during Obama's reign here in the US. Made no sense then and still doesn't -- unless one understands the intent of the reset. There's a great article in Hillsdale College's "Imprimis" which details thre reset in length.. Of course, our politicians rely on our memories of the old USSR, which was in fact a sworn enemy and dedicated to spreading world communism, in order to try to convince us that the Russian Federation is somehow dedicated to our destruction. That's hardly a goal of the Russian Federation. But back to the reset, it's also why they linked anti-Reset Trump to Russia, so they could take the one they had already smeared in public opinion and then hope to tarnish another enemy of the reset by linking him to Russia.
It all sounds weird, but that's where we are folks. As a television court personality is fond of saying, "If it doesn't make sense, it's probably not true." None of what we are being told about Russia makes much sense at all. Neither of course does much of anything our pathetic president and US Congress do.
