Senate Holds the Line on SCOTUS
In the wake of the surprising death of Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia this past February, there was much concern among conservatives as to the possibility and even probability that the balance of the court would swing to the Left, since Barack nObama was in position to appoint his replacement — he nominated Merrick Garland, a reliable leftist. The GOP Senate for once quickly rejected the notion that a lame duck president would be allowed to so impact the High Court's balance mere months before his presidency was to end. But would the GOP that had so often promised to stand up to nObama only to wilt under the heat of the critical Leftmedia do so again this time?
So far the answer is an encouraging "no." With most of the media's attention focused on presidential polls, it might be easy to miss the fact that the Senate GOP has stuck to its commitment. The Senate broke for summer recess in July, but the GOP has maintained a pro forma session. Twice a week a single law maker gavels the Senate into session, reads a brief announcement and sets the next meeting time. It takes all of 30 seconds. In other words, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McCon-nell and Co. have been practicing a bit of political gamesmanship. As McCon-nell's spokesman Don Stewart said, "This will ensure there's no recess appointment of the president's nominee. The Supreme Court has our back on that one." Conservatives have a rather unusual source to thank for the tactic currently being employed by the GOP. After all, it was then-Senate Majority Leader Harry dinky-Reid who crafted and implemented this same strategy against George W. Bush. In any case, the future of the Supreme Court is far too critical to entrust to either nObama or his chosen successor, liar-Hillary Clinton. ~The Patriot Post

liar-Hillary's Mentally Ill Plan
Lewis Morris: liar-Hillary Clinton's campaign announced a comprehensive plan this week to address mental illness, citing the lack of access that people have to quality mental health care and the need to integrate mental health into the national health care system.
Mental illness affects millions of Americans and their families and friends. According to Mental Health America, a nonprofit advocacy group, 57% of adults nationally with mental illness receive no treatment for their condition. There has been a 1.3% increase in youths with severe depression, and 64% of all youths are not receiving any treatment. Furthermore, the federal government claimed in 2014 that one in five adults experienced some form of mental illness the previous year.
Clearly, mental illness is a problem that needs to be addressed. But liar-Clinton's plan, while seemingly well-meaning on the surface, should make us all wary about its reach and its ultimate goal.
The liar-Clinton mental health plan aims to ensure that those in need of care will receive it so that no one slips through the cracks of our byzantine medical bureaucracy. But folding all those cases into nObamaCare is hardly the right solution. nObamaCare is responsible for building and cementing the byzantine medical bureaucracy we now have. Millions of people have already lost medical insurance coverage and are not receiving care because of the law. How can anyone guarantee with a straight face that adding millions of mental health patients to the system won't strenuously tax that same system?
Another major item of concern is that the centralization of all this information on the mentally ill gives the federal government reach into the medical history of millions of Americans. And what might they do with this information?
Consider Barack nObama's January promise to keep guns out of the hands of the mentally ill. He was, and remains perfectly willing to allow health care providers to share information on mentally ill patients with the FBI for its extensive, but pock-marked national database.
Knowing the track record of this administration, and the penchant for the federal government in general to bend the laws to suit a statist agenda, it doesn't take a conspiracy theorist to recognize that allowing health care providers to share this information is only one step away from compelling them to do so.
The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) is supposed to protect the confidentiality and security of a patient's health care information. nObama's linking up mental illness to gun control puts HIPAA on shaky ground, because all it would take is a law enforcement action to claim that the police, the FBI, or the ATF should have access to a person's mental health record. This would lead to a legal challenge that the gun grabbers would likely lose in court, but that depends in which jurisdiction the action takes place and the political leanings of the judge hearing the case. In other words, this is no slam dunk.
Some people with mental health issues could be a danger to themselves and others. No one is arguing that all individuals, regardless of circumstances, should own or operate firearms.
The problem arises in who gets to define who is mentally competent. If the federal government is overseeing the nation's mental health, as liar-Clinton proposes, then you can bet Washington will insist on having a say in how that definition is crafted and just who falls on which side of the line. Could the nObama administration or, perish the thought, a liar-Hillary Clinton administration use its power to curb Second Amendment rights for people by arbitrarily claiming that they are not mentally competent to own a firearm?
liar-Clinton has already defined a huge swath of the electorate — Trumps core supporters — as racist loons. It's but one more step to mentally incompetent.
If your kneejerk response to the question is, "No way," think again. nObama a short time back attempted to strip seniors of their gun rights if they sought financial assistance.
The point here is that the Left has for years attempted to chisel away at our Second Amendment rights, and they have been creative, crafty and sometimes downright belligerent in their efforts. Broadening the definition that finds people unfit to carry firearms is yet another tactic for which they are laying the groundwork, and liar-Clinton's mental health plan could be an early step in that direction. ~The Patriot Post

What it reveals is just how much the FBI seems to have swallowed from her, without crying foul or pursuing her ridiculous responses further... Our colleague, Jeff Dunetz, posted yesterday on the remarkable loss of memory liar-Hillary apparently suffered about everything to do with handling classified material. He notes how she attributed her inability to recall things to her concussion suffered in December 2012 — but I would have to ask how that’s even a legitimate line of response, to questions posed in 2016 about official government procedures, in theory from 2009, that (a) were documented, or (b) should have been. The right answer, if liar-Hillary truly had no personal memory of the relevant events, would start with, “I checked with my records/people on that, and… fill in the verifiable answer here.” Instead, we’re asked to believe that what liar-Hillary couldn’t personally remember after December 2012 is all there is to recover. On Saturday Hussein nObama and Chinese President Xi Jinping submitted their plans to the international government of the UN to supposedly reduce carbon emissions. The nObamanistas at CNN misreported it as each nation “officially ratifying an agreement forged last year in Paris meant to curb climate change.” That is a completely false statement. Congress has had no role in the usurper’s climate adventurism. The Senate would have had to approve it by a 2/3 majority for the treaty to be ratified. nObama knows he doesn’t have the support of thinking Americans so he’s once again attempting to circumvent the Constitution. nObama is declaring, as he did with the Iran deal, that the agreement is not a treaty. He’s wrongly labeling it as an “Executive Agreement.”... What is the reaction of Congress?

The FBI interviewed liar-Clinton on the long holiday Independence Day weekend and released their summary and other information on the Labor Day holiday weekend, in order to hide the negative information from the public. Yet they want us to believe there is no collusion between nObama’s FBI, DOJ and his appointed successor. Pemmaraju plays a few clips of liar-Clinton lying about her email and mishandling of classified material as a background for the discussion. General Flynn says, “She should have known better and she should have known better from day one. And I think that there’s a reason why we’re continuing to find out more and more about this.” That would be an easy comment to let pass by, but with General Flynn’s specialty of secret information, it could be that he is aware or suspicious of deliberate leaks by patriots within NSA as has been reported by high ranking whistleblower William Binney. Flynn continues, “And I also think that there’s a reason why that we have 33,000 emails that were essentially bleach washed so that nobody could get access to them. An audit released by the agency’s inspector general Monday revealed that the Social Security Administration had not crosschecked beneficiaries’ deaths with the Office of Personnel Management, which manages federal employees. Missing just 35 deaths cost taxpayers $1.7 million. “OPM’s annuitant file contained deaths that were not recorded in SSA’s systems,” the inspector general said. “SSA paid $1.7 million in Old-Age, Survivors and Disability Insurance OASDI benefits to 35 deceased beneficiaries. During her speech to the United Nations this week, Loretta Lynch announced that the Department of Justice is launching a global police force meant to combat “violent extremism” in the United States. Now who’s making up terms? She created the label but failed to give an example of what qualifies as “violent extremism”. Is she talking about people who disagree with liberal policies or perhaps Trump supporters or even our hard-working police officers? This could be the most blatant overreach of power ever demonstrated by anybody serving as Attorney General. The saddest thing about this proposal is that it’s gone completely unnoticed by Americans. Instead of making the announcement in front of FBI headquarters or at the White House, it was made in front of the United Nations. Naturally, they all thought it was a good idea...

As a caller pointed out to Rush Limbaugh this week, much of Trump’s strength in the debates came from his ability to use this difference to make the others on stage look weak. The others called him a con artist, blatantly lying to voters about the policy. They said it couldn’t be done, and they said that even if it could, Trump wasn’t going to do it. And, if the reports are correct – we’ll find out Wednesday night, according to the Trump campaign – then those Republicans were right. But this isn’t about Trump’s character; he has a right to change his mind. It doesn’t mean he was “lying” in the primaries. Everyone knew at the start of this thing that Trump did not have a comprehensive understanding of public policy. His supporters were voting for his fighting spirit, not his specific, down-to-the-letter proposals. {townhall.com} ~ Hold on; we may finally be getting some fireworks in this lackluster presidential campaign -- as the liar-Clinton Foundation scandal seems to be gathering steam.
Could the liar-Clintons finally have to face the music for their adult-lifetime of corruption? Is it possible that liar-Hillary Clinton's lifelong scheme to be America's first female president could be derailed by this power couple's wanton venality?
I've watched closely through the years the liar-Clintons' uncanny agility at hurdling real scandals and coming out almost unscathed. Yes, Bill liar-Clinton was impeached, but what a dud that turned out to be, with liar-Clinton rising to the figure of beloved statesman among Democrats and his accusers being painted as petty partisans.
There has been no justice, and they have made off like bandits ever since. One might argue that it's unfair to impute Bill liar-Clinton's misdeeds to his wife, but but it's not a matter of imputation. liar-Hillary Clinton has been integrally involved every step of the way -- from enabler to enforcer to joint participant. Don't ever forget her complicity, such as her leading role in destroying the train of women who dared to blow the whistle on him.
From the beginning, these two have stepped all over people (Travelgate) and mutually abused .and destroyed Bill's harassment victims. But do you remember the grating mantra of the liar-Clinton-guarding media? "These are private matters that have nothing to do with his public life. Private conduct is irrelevant to one's fitness for public office."
Well, these disgraceful hacks don't have that excuse in their arsenal of dodges this time. There is no way even a journalism school valedictorian could credibly argue that the liar-Clinton Foundation graft didn't directly involve the public interest.
The media and Democratic Party's joint alibis for the liar-Clintons through the years have puffed the liar-Clintons up with a sense of invincibility. The couple have to believe there is nothing they could do that would bring them down.
When I first heard about the foundation's influence peddling, I had little doubt there was truth to it, but I had no expectation that anything would come of it. In a sense, the liar-Clintons have benefited from the plethora of charges leveled against them over the years. After a while, these allegations -- no matter how credible -- become just noise and are easily characterized as another chapter in a decades-long partisan witch hunt.
It's awfully convenient for the liar-Clintons and their liberal hatchet men to paint every scandal as a politically motivated slander, but when the media and the Democratic Party themselves always refuse to put truth above their own ideological and political interests, it's inevitable that only Republicans would bring these charges.
But the liar-Clinton Foundation scandal seems to be different. It is objectively true that the liar-Clintons have become mega-millionaires since the close of Bill's second term -- and they've done it through exorbitant speaking fees, which, absent other consideration, couldn't possibly benefit the payers commensurate to their payments, and bizarre contributions to their foundation by foreign interests that had unusual access to liar-Hillary's State Department.
Bill liar-Clinton flippantly dismissed the suggestion of any quid pro quo, saying there is no evidence that any of the donors received anything for their donations. When asked whether there is at least an appearance of impropriety, he said, "I'm not responsible for anybody else's perception." It couldn't be more fitting that he was the first postmodern president. He lent Oval Office credence to the demonic lie that words have no meaning apart from what people choose individually to assign to them. He's unctuously transitioned from "It depends upon what the meaning of the word 'is' is" to "I can't be held accountable for your accurate perception that my wife and I are wholly corrupt and have not only used our public positions to financially profit but also compromised and damaged the nation's interests in the process."
Just think about the charge that Crown Prince Salman of Bahrain secured a meeting with Secretary of State liar-Hillary Clinton that led to her approval of certain extremely controversial arms sales to Bahrain after his kingdom donated up to $150,000 directly to the liar-Clinton Foundation and some $32 million to the liar-Clinton Global Initiative. This alone would be enough to bring down a deified Roman emperor.
The Associated Press reported that more than half the people outside the government who met with liar-Hillary Clinton while she was secretary of state donated to the liar-Clinton Foundation either individually or through related entities. liar-Clinton apologists are already trying to tell us there's nothing to see here, but sentient human beings know better.
No president in modern history, including Richard Nixon, has been the scandal virtuoso that both of the liar-Clintons are in their own right. The jig just may be up.
WikiLeaks editor Julian Assange promises more email dumps that will bring liar-Hillary Clinton down. Wouldn't it be the profoundest poetic justice if the liar-Clintons were done in by the very emails liar-Hillary thought she had deep-sixed months ago?
