{dailycaller.com} ~ The Trump administration returned to the U.S. Supreme Court Monday night seeking to end the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program... an scumbag/liar-nObama-era amnesty initiative that extends protected status to illegal aliens brought to the U.S. as children. The move is aggressive and unusual, as decisions on Trump’s efforts to rescind DACA are still pending in several federal appeals courts, and the justices seldom take up cases before those judgments issue. But the U.S. Department of Justice told the Supreme Court Monday that action is needed in the near term. The Trump administration previously sought the Supreme Court’s review of its efforts to phase out DACA. After two federal judges issued injunctions requiring the government to continue administering the program, the Justice Department bypassed normal appellate procedure and went directly to the Supreme Court on Jan. 18 to vindicate its right to terminate the program. The justices rejected that request on Feb. 26, but asked the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals to quickly process the case so it could return to the high court in a reasonable time frame. Other challenges to DACA repeal efforts are currently before appeals courts in New York and Washington, D.C...  https://dailycaller.com/2018/11/05/supreme-court-daca-trump/?utm_medium=email

dummycrats-Democrats on precipice of governor power grab

{washingtonexaminer.com} ~ dummycrats-Democrats are poised to loosen the Republican stranglehold on governors' mansions across the country on Election Day Tuesday... with voter enthusiasm unusually high for a nonpresidential cycle. But it will be a handful of "toss up" races that could determine whether the GOP maintains control of the bulk of governorships heading into the 2020 presidential election and beyond. Prognosticators, who look at the wide scope of polling, foresee a good night for dummycrats-Democrats. They predict dummycrats-Democrats will make gains for a more balanced distribution of power, as Republicans are currently governors in 33 out of 50 states. Of the 36 states with gubernatorial elections on Tuesday, 26 are headed by Republicans, whereas nine have dummycrats-Democrats in charge. Alaska's governor, Bill Walker, is an independent. In their Monday evening forecast, FiveThirtyEight said dummycrats-Democrats were likely to make a net gain of eight governorships on top of the 16 they already have, giving them governors in 24 states after the 2018 midterm cycle. Meanwhile, RealClearPolitics projects dummycrats-Democrats will pick up two governors' mansions, leaving 12 contests in "toss up" status. But, according to their "no toss ups" map, dummycrats-Democrats could make a net gain of eight, leaving them in control of 24 states. dummycrats-Democratic candidates campaigning in Illinois, Michigan, and New Mexico are positioned for wins in three of the 26 Republican strongholds, while those politicking for power in the state capitols of Florida, Iowa, Maine, Nevada, Ohio, and Wisconsin are in neck-and-neck races, according to the nonpartisan Cook Political Report. dummycrats-Democrats are also competitive in the traditionally red enclaves of Georgia, Kansas, Oklahoma, and South Dakota. Republicans are making a play for Alaska, Connecticut, and Oregon... We'll see by the end of today if their predictions are correct.

The Dire State of Free Speech in Europe

{americanlibertyreport.com} ~ Free speech is the foundation upon which all other freedoms are built. When a nation’s citizens are unable to express their thoughts, ideas, and opinions without fear of criminal punishment... democracy crumbles and tyranny fills the vacuum. In spite of the utmost importance of free speech, the United States is the only country in the world with an ironclad right to free speech enshrined in its constitution. For a long time, other free countries such as those in Europe allowed and even protected free speech even though it was not regarded as a fundamental right. In 2018, though, free speech in Europe is in real danger. On October 25th, the highest human rights court in Europe – the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) – ruled that slandering the prophet Muhammad is not protected speech and is subject to criminal prosecution. This ruling came after an anonymous Austrian woman made statements at two seminars calling Muhammad a “pedophile” for his marriage to a six year old girl when he was fifty-six – a marriage that was consummated when the girl was nine according to Islamic teachings. After being fined for her statements, the woman took her case all the way to the ECHR, arguing that the punishment was a violation of her freedom of speech. However, the ECHR upheld the ruling, stating that criticizing Muhammad did not fall under the category of protected speech...Anyone with common sense would know CDHR's ruling was wrong.

The Five Simple Words that SNL
and Pete Davidson Should Learn to Say

{saraacarter.com} ~Saturday Night Live’s skit about retired Navy SEAL and congressional candidate Dan Crenshaw just wasn’t funny at all... The joke–if you can call it a joke–felt like someone kicked me in the stomach. The laughter from the audience following Pete Davidson’s depraved statement about Crenshaw was the worst part of the entire skit. Davidson joked when Crenshaw’s picture came up on screen Saturday night that he looked like a “hitman from a porno” because he wears an eyepatch over his left eye, which he lost while serving in Afghanistan. “I’m sorry, I know he lost his eye in war…laughter or whatever,” he said as he laughed and the audience laughed with him. “Whatever.” Really? Can you imagine what it’s like to lose your sight? Imagine fighting overseas, far away from your loved ones, only to find yourself blinded in a momentary hail of gunfire and a grenade being lobbed over your head...

Senate Investigators Find Evidence Ford
May Have Mistaken Kavanaugh for Another Man

{westernjournal.com} ~ A report released by the Senate Judiciary Committee on Saturday included the account of a man who said... he had a consensual encounter with Dr. Christine Blasey Ford in the early 1980s, which mirrored in multiple respects the allegation of sexual misconduct she brought against then-Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh. The report overall found no credible evidence of sexual misconduct by Kavanaugh. During his public testimony regarding allegations made by Ford in late September, Kavanaugh emphatically denied he had ever sexually assaulted her and insisted she must be mistaking him for another man. According to the report, committee investigators interviewed a man — whose name was redacted — the day before Ford testified. This man related that when he was a 19-year-old college student he visited Washington, D.C., over spring break and kissed a girl he thought was Ford. The reports reads: “He said that the kiss happened in the bedroom of a house which was about a 15-to-20 minute walk from the Van Ness Metro, that Dr. Ford was wearing a swimsuit under her clothing, and that the kissing ended when a friend jumped on them as a joke. The man said that the woman initiated the kissing and that he did not force himself on her.” Breitbart noted his account is similar to the testimony Ford offered before the Senate Judiciary Committee in at least three ways...hmmmm interesting.

by Political Editors:  On Thursday, President Donald Trump announced that he working on an executive order designed to end the abuse of the U.S. asylum system. Trump stated, “My administration is finalizing a plan to end the rampant abuse of our asylum system, to halt the dangerous influx, and to establish this control over America’s sovereign borders. Under this plan, the illegal aliens will no longer get a free pass into our country by lodging meritless claims in seeking asylum. Instead, migrants seeking asylum will have to present themselves lawfully at a port of entry.”

Trump noted that he would be releasing the “comprehensive” order next week, adding, “Those who choose to break our laws and enter illegally will no longer be able to use meritless claims to gain automatic admission into our country. We will hold them — for a long time, if necessary. The only longterm solution to the crisis, and the only way to ensure the endurance of our nation as a sovereign country, is for Congress to overcome open-borders obstruction.” He also emphasized, “We will end catch and release. We are not releasing any longer.”
This is indeed a welcome announcement from Trump. For too long the U.S. asylum system has been abused by illegal aliens who are caught sneaking across the border. If one’s asylum request is legitimate, then go to a legal port of entry and apply.
Trump is also making it clear that he is interested in stopping illegal immigration, not legal immigration or the legal process for making genuine and needed asylum requests. This is not, nor has it ever been, a quest to stop legal immigration or asylum. Nor has it been about the ethnic background of those seeking entry into the U.S. It hasalways been an issue of enforcing our nation’s sovereignty and laws.
The truth is that most illegal aliens who sneak into the U.S. do so because they know they don’t meet the asylum requirements. That fact is borne out by the regular practice of illegal aliens making requests for asylum only after they have been apprehended by the Border Patrol. Secondly, as Trump noted, escaping poverty is not legitimate grounds for asylum. Socialism south of our border is certainly bad, and these countries are often economically wrecked, but that’s not sufficient to grant access to our own lavish benefits.
