A Tale of Two Health Reports
Yesterday both presidential candidates released reports on their medical health. liar-Hillary Clinton released a letter from her doctor, Lisa Bardack MD, which listed some recent health checks including, interestingly, a brain scan and some of her current prescribed medications. Bardack concluded that liar-Clinton was "in excellent mental condition" and "healthy and fit to serve as President."
Hours before liar-Hillary's doctor's note was made public, Donald Trump went on the Dr. Oz show, where he gave Oz the medical record from a recent physical he'd received. Dr. Oz look over the record and stated, "I looked at them and tried to process it pretty quickly and I got to say as a doctor, if he was my patient, they are good for a man of his age."
With recent polls now showing Trump leading in some key battle ground states, the Leftmedia can't make liar-Hillary's health controversy go away fast enough. NBC News reported that liar-Clinton had released her "medical records" — a letter from her doctor — while Trump had merely "offered some new information about his own well-being." The report gave a subtle dig at Trump for not releasing medical records to reporters and NBC highlighted the fact that, at 70, he would be the oldest person ever to be elected president (Ronald Reagan was 73 when re-elected in 1984). But it should be noted that Trump is not the candidate who suffered recent medial episodes.
The Washington Post also chose to focus on Trump by slamming him with the headline, "Despite gestures, Trump is still the least transparent U.S. presidential candidate in modern history." Are they kidding? Other than posting a copy of liar-Hillary's doctor's note, there was no more reporting on her health. It was as if to say, "Okay, got the doctor's note. The controversy is over. Move along folks; nothing more to see here. Now look at how much Trump is hiding!" Clearly the Leftmedia is giving liar-Hillary a pass on her recent medical episodes hoping that there are no more such incidents. The health of a potential president is a legitimate concern and something to be considered when voting. Instead of informing, the Leftmedia is circling the wagons. ~The Patriot Post

Katie Couric Target of Gun Group Lawsuit
Back in May, Katie Couric — the infamously well-known liberal "journalist" — shot herself in the foot with an unmistakably agenda-driven edit to a Q&A session with the Virginia Citizens Defense League. Couric posited to the group an enquiry concerning opposition to expanded background checks and how that position jives (or in Couric's view, doesn't jive) with keeping firearms out of criminal hands. But in the film, "Under the Gun," in which the interviews appear, the pro-gun group is portrayed as shell-shocked and unprepared for such a damning "gotcha" question.
In truth, the group laid out their case in a quick and articulate manner. No doubt Couric now wishes she'd thought twice, as she will have to defend herself in court. This week the Virginia Citizens Defense League announced a $12 million defamation lawsuit against Couric. According to VCDL president Philip Van Cleave, "We were horrified to see how Couric and her team manipulated us and the video footage to make us look like fools who didn't stand up for the Second Amendment. We want to set the record straight and hold them accountable for what they've done. You shouldn't intentionally misrepresent someone's views just because you disagree with them."
As columnist Jonah Goldberg has pointed out, "As a society, we want to be entertained far more than we want to be informed, which is why these scandals vanish the instant they become boring. It's also why Katie Couric is more of a reality TV star than a real journalist." Adding gun rights into the mix makes that a real problem. ~The Patriot Post

There are several components in this speech, each of which is an insult to the integrity of the office he is soiling on a daily basis, and a revelation of their intent, the effort to change America into the proper society they envision, where blacks rule over whites because it is owed to them. nObama leads off with a greeting to Rep Charlie Rangel, who may be the most corrupt Democrat alive, outside of one named nObama, liar-Clinton, Johnson, hanoi-Kerry or Lynch. Rangel was censured by the Democrat led House in 2010 for bringing discredit to the House through ethics violations. He’s retiring at the end of this session as is Hussein nObama. nObama called it “riding off into the sunset together.” Anybody paying attention would call it dumping the trash. He pokes fun at Trump capitulating on the citizenship issue, something he may come to regret once he wins the election. Five Armed Suspects Arrested In New York Bombings – Weapons Cache Discovered

{rickwells.us} ~Federal agents stopped a “vehicle of interest” in Brooklyn, NY on Sunday, which they report as being related to the Chelsea bombing investigation. Five individuals were arrested, with agents confiscating a weapons cache as well... According to the Daily Mail, the FBI discovered a bomb cache in New Jersey as well. When the vehicle was stopped by NYPD, the occupants were found to be heavily armed. FBI agents confirmed that the suspect vehicle was spotted heading east on the Belt Parkway from the Verrazano-Narrows Bridge at around 9:30 pm. The initial blasts occurred on Saturday, reported as having originated from a device placed in a metal container – a skip or a large builder’s toolbox – outside the Associated Blind Housing facility at 135 West 23rd Street.” That device is believed to have been placed by the same suspects responsible for a Saturday morning explosion in a trash can on the race track for a Marine Corps 5k charity run in New Jersey. A third device was found “four blocks away from the West 23rd St blast, on West 27th Street. It was described by a law enforcement official as a pressure-cooker with protruding wires and a cell phone attached to it. It was taken from the scene by a bomb removal robot.”...

VA Spends Billions Annually Without Proper Oversight

The VA spent roughly $20 billion during fiscal 2015—over a quarter of the agency’s discretionary budget—to procure goods and services for veterans’ health care, and at least $46 billion over a three-year period, according to a new audit by the Government Accountability Office that faults the agency for managing contracts using “outdated and fragmented” policies. It’s something we’re all generally aware of as we are always hit with another whopper that is soon outdone by yet another that follows, but he has a way of clarifying even the most jumbled of messes. It’s a skill that is particularly useful for putting the liar-Clinton world into perspective. He calls it a pattern that both Bill and liar-Hillary Clinton use when they are confronted with unflattering evidence. He uses the illegal home email server scandal as the basis for the explanation of just how the liar-Clinton Lie Ratchet works. Whittle notes that once it became impossible for her to avoid having to give some kind of explanation and being unfamiliar with facing up to the truth and of any situation, liar-Clinton chose to put forward the least damaging lie possible. He goes through the progression of increasingly damaging, ever more incredible lies, holding true to the pattern that the ratchet system incorporates, all the way up to the lie of not being able to remember the truth because of a physical injury. It was a fall that caused her to forget all about her briefings on how to handle classified information...

Known as the "Killer Clown," he used his professional clown talents to lure victims into his home, where they then were asphyxiated or strangled... He claimed 33 victims before being arrested, convicted and, finally, executed in 1994. Imagine Gacy, before his arrest, writing an opinion piece for a major U.S. newspaper expressing concerns about children being murdered. Anyone knowing Gacy's propensities would damn him for his hypocrisy. Yet such hypocrisy was evident earlier this week in a New York Times op-ed penned by Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif. In that op-ed, Zarif condemned "Wahhabism" - a fundamentalist religious branch of Sunni Islam that took root in the 18th century - as well as Tehran's Islamic sectarian archrival, Saudi Arabia, for supporting extremist groups such as the former Nusra Front (now Jabhat Fateh al-Sham) in Syria. His condemnation included other extremist Sunni groups such as al-Qaeda, the Taliban and ISIS. Sympathy for Refugees Wearing Thin

Why are refugees in Maine? What sort of help do you they get? What would you do if you were faced with the same decisions? “In Their Shoes” is a dynamic workshop that will help you understand the path of a refugee and invite you to walk a moment in their shoes. This program will be presented on Friday evening, Sept 16th, from 6:30 to 8:00 pm at St. Joseph Church in Bridgton. “In Their Shoes” will engage you with staff from Catholic Charities Maine Refugee Program to learn about the refugee process, the population currently settled in Maine and the challenges faced by the state’s newest arrivals. All are welcome!
Well, the half-dozen CCM staff who came never got an opportunity to launch “In Their Shoes.” LaChance started easily enough with a brainstorming, word association exercise asking the audience what words came to mind when he said “immigrant.” We got a clue about how the evening would go when someone shouted out “welfare,” which LaChance dutifully wrote on a chalkboard. Someone else said, “hijra(h),” and had to spell it for LaChance. If you google hijra(h), most links say it’s an Indian word for a cross-dresser, but Robert Spencer, a researcher on radical Islam, said it’s an Arab/Muslim word meaning “jihad by emigration.”

The word-association exercise continued and a woman in back shouted out “Adnan Fazeli!” That’s the name of an Iranian Muslim refugee who lived on welfare in Portland and Freeport, Maine before being killed while fighting or ISIS near the Syria/Lebanon border. A month prior, I’d written about him and a Somali Muslim who had also lived in nearby Lewiston, Maine and also died fighting for ISIS. LaChance said Fazeli had first come to Philadelphia. I wondered if he was implying that his agency had not been involved. The Portland Press Herald, however, had reported that Fazeli “came to the Portland area through Catholic Charities Refugee and Immigration Services.” Fazeli also worked for CCM as a translator.
A man who claiming to be a member of a local school board protested that schools incur enormous costs to provide ESL (English as a Second Language) teachers for refugee children. He soon got rambunctious and interrupted several times as LaChance, always polite, tried to recover control of the meeting. When several in the audience got annoyed with the man, he left. Others offering skeptical comments did so respectfully and LaChance seemed like a nice guy who believed his agency was doing important work. He said CCM’s refugee efforts fulfilled a social justice mission of the Catholic Church, citing Matthew: 25. Then he cued a woman to begin a powerpoint presentation.
In it, young girls speaking Kurdish with English subtitles described arduous day-to-day life in a refugee camp somewhere in the Middle East. LaChance said all refugees Catholic Charities brought to Maine are closely vetted by multiple US Government agencies and screened for health issues. Some in the audience, however, questioned how that could be done in war zones or in failed states. LaChance said refugees reported being raped and seeing family members killed. A woman in the audience suggested they could be lying to get into the US. LaChance shrugged.

I asked about a document required by the State Department of agencies like CCM called a “Reception and Replacement Abstract.” LaChance said CCM files them and I asked if I could have a copy. The R&P Abstract outlines how many refugees would be coming to Maine each year and where they would be placed. First he said I could get one from the state, then said CCM would give me one. I’d heard concerns that Bridgton was a possible destination, so I asked if the R&P Abstract included any places in Maine other than Portland and Lewiston. LaChance looked to Tarlan Ahmadov, CCM program director for refugee services, who said, emphatically, “No.”

Another woman in the audience said she had worked in the Portland, Maine school system where Somali refugee girls told her they were being taken to Boston for female genital mutilation. LaChance and Ahmadov acknowledged that and also other mistreatment of females by Muslim men. They said CCM was a mandatory reporter and they often warned male refugees they could be arrested for beating wives or daughters.

I came away from Friday’s meeting thinking that if little Bridgton, Maine is any indication, there’s more grassroots opposition to Muslim immigration out there than people think -- and it’s likely to manifest on the ballot November 8th.
