 FEDS HOTLINE FOR EXECUTIVE AMNESTY
Stephen Dinan reports: “The Homeland Security Department has set up hotlines for illegal immigrants who believe their rights under President nObama’s amnesty policy have been violated. In a memo announcing the customer complaint line, U.S. Customs and Border Protection asked illegal immigrants to ‘please tell us about your experience’ if they believe they were treated ‘contrary to the new DHS enforcement priorities.’”  -Fox News

Homeland Security Secretary pushes for unconditional funding bill -   WashEx: “Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson pressed Congress to drop a directive to stop President nObama's executive order on immigration attached to a funding bill for his department, a move that has endangered support from Democrats. Johnson said that the rider threatened his department's operations. DHS funding is slated to run out Feb. 27 if Congress can't pass a new spending bill. ‘I am on Capitol Hill now virtually every working day’ to get a bill passed, Johnson said Sunday on CNN's ‘State of the Union.’”  -Fox News

Go ahead and go: -   Senate Majority Leader Mitch McCon-nell’s plan for keeping the Senate runs through the Senate amendment process. David Drucker reports: “In after action reports, Republican strategists said that a major driver behind the demise of Sen. dinky Harry Reid’s Democratic majority in 2014 midterms was his extraordinary ability to keep his caucus unified on Senate votes and President nObama’s agenda…. But his strategy for keeping his caucus from splitting had a side effect: Democrats had virtually no opportunities to collaborate with Republicans and establish their independence — either from the party or from nObama. This turned out to be fatal blow to the Democrats in a battle for the Senate that was fought largely on Republican turf. Ever the political tactician, Kentucky Republican McCon-nell is determined not to repeat dinky Reid’s mistake in 2016, when the Senate battleground is likely to favor the Democrats.”   -Fox News

Shoot the lights out -   WSJ: “Newly empowered Republicans are looking to do something that hasn’t been accomplished since 1996: funnel a budget through both houses of Congress and then pass timely appropriations bills. But first the party must agree on what its budget document should say.”
“[The nObamaCare replacement plan] helps by giving more choice, more competition, reducing the regulatory burden, again, not only helping our businesses in terms of reducing costs, giving them more options, but for individuals as well. That's the kind of thing that makes our economy go.” --Sen. John Hoeven, R-N.D., on “Sunday Morning Futures” Watch here -Fox News

WITH YOUR SECOND CUP OF COFFEE...
Fred Kaps had possibly the hardest act to follow in show business history 51 years ago today as his debut on “The Ed Sullivan Show” happened to fall on the same night the same night as another act’s debut. The British invasion had finally reached the United States with the Beatles performance with over 70 million Americans estimated to have tuned in that night. Kaps was a world renowned Dutch magician having won the prestigious Fédération Internationale des Sociétés Magiques Grand Prix three times. Undeterred, Kaps worked the stage with his infamous Salt Shaker and card tricks. The Fab Four then returned to the stage to close the show. Thanks to his appearance, Kaps was offered movie roles and appeared on other shows performing worldwide, including shows for the Dutch and British royal families. He received numerous honors and commendations in the magic community before his passing from cancer in 1980.  -Fox News

ISIS army '6 times bigger than CIA thinks'
ISISsoldiers
(wnd.com) - The Islamic State and its extremist allies currently boast an army estimated by Egypt to consist of about 180,000 Islamist fighters...An Egyptian intelligence document, the contents of which were obtained by WND, warns that while the U.S. has been attempting to maintain a coalition to fight ISIS, the Islamic terrorist organization has itself been hard at work building a sustainable coalition of jihadist gunmen. The 180,000 figure is six times greater than a CIA estimate from last September, which placed the number of ISIS fighters at between 20,000 and 31,500 fighters. According to Egypt, ISIS has created an umbrella army with the Taliban, Al Shabab, Al-Qaida in the Arabian Peninsula, and local jihadist groups from Yemen, Mali, Gaza, Syria, Iraq, Pakistan and the Egyptian Sinai.       http://www.wnd.com/2015/02/isis-were-so-much-bigger-than-cia-thinks/

Remember Those Dems Pulosi Said Were Too Busy Right Now?
View image on Twitter
(theconservativetreehouse.com) - A few days ago Nancy Pelosi responded to a question about why Democrats were boycotting the speech by Benjamin Netanyahu....Pulosi responded by saying that Democrats are very busy right now, “too busy to engage with foreign leaders“. Well,….Too busy”… must mean attending the Grammy Awards and other similarly important stuff, or something.       http://theconservativetreehouse.com/2015/02/08/remember-those-democrats-nancy-pelosi-said-were-too-busy-right-now/

There’s a US energy boom, no thanks to nObama
Refinery workers walk inside the LyondellBasell oil refinery in Houston, Texas March 6, 2013. LyondellBasell Industries NV's 268,000 barrel-per-day (bpd) Houston refinery is boosting its capacity to process heavy Canadian crude oil by 115,000 bpd in an overhaul of a coking and a crude distillation unit currently underway.
(Mark J. Perry) - It would be easy to look at the dramatic 35% increase in America’s oil and natural gas production since President nObama took office and think the administration deserves much of the credit. But the energy boom has happened in spite of him...Production could have been even greater if the administration embraced America’s new energy superpower status instead of being so hostile to the development of our fossil fuel resources. Since nObama took office, oil and gas production has soared on private and state land, for which he deserves little or no credit. Meanwhile, production on federal lands has dropped sharply due to a cutback in leasing of deepwater areas for energy development.       https://www.aei.org/publication/theres-a-us-energy-boom-no-thanks-to-obama/

It’s Spreading… “Muslim Day” Planned at Another State Capitol
The Council on American-Islamic Relations is at it again, only this time in a new state. The Oklahoma chapter of CAIR has planned a “Muslim Day” at the state capitol on Friday, Feb 27...CAIR had a “Muslim Day” at the Texas State Capitol building in January, where they were met with sizable protests. During the Texas rally a woman walked up to the podium, took the mike and stated, “I stand against Islam and the false Prophet Muhammad.” “Islam will never dominate the United States,” she continued. “And by the grace of God it will not dominate Texas!”       http://conservativetribune.com/muslim-day-planned-at-capitol/?utm_medium=twitter&utm_source=twitterfeed

Muslim Brotherhood Rep: "We are Now in The Retaliation Phase"
Islamic State affiliate in the Sinai sets of a bomb.
(clarionproject.org) - Muslim Brotherhood-linked television stations based in Turkey have been calling on supporters to use violent means in Egypt in an attempt to overthrow President Sisi and his army-backed government and return the country to Muslim Brotherhood rule...The Muslim Brotherhood has been designated as a terrorist organization by Egypt, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates. The official Muslim Brotherhood representative in Turkey, Ashraf Abdulgaffar, made a similar call, advocating a policy of "an eye for an eye." He said: "We are now in the retaliation phase. They [Sisi’s government] must taste pain, because there are traitors. My message to the Egyptian people is this: Stand firm and be ready for all sacrifices and prices to be paid.”       http://www.clarionproject.org/news/muslim-brotherhood-rep-we-are-now-retaliation-phase

 A wolf in sheep’s clothing
Qasim-Rashid.jpg
(Ali Rizvi) - If an ideology is peaceful, then its most literalist or fundamentalist adherents too would be peaceful. In the case of Islam, let alone Al Qaeda or ISIS, what the governments of Iran or Saudi Arabia do is plain for all to see...In Saudi Arabia they publicly behead people for even drug trafficking, and in Iran they hang them to death for being homosexual. Many surveys also have shown that the majorities in countries like Egypt, Pakistan or Malaysia support the death penalty for blasphemy. So what should a Muslim who claims to be a moderate or tolerant and is concerned about the image of Islam do? Perhaps challenge those who kill in the name of Islam? Perhaps try to convince other Muslims that these violent interpretations are not really what Islam preaches?       http://www.jihadwatch.org/2015/02/a-wolf-in-sheeps-clothing?utm_source=Jihad+Watch+Daily+Digest&utm_campaign=22f7ba1efc-Daily_Digest&utm_medium=email&utm_term=0_ffcbf57bbb-22f7ba1efc-123451509

Alaska Considers Bill Requiring Study of Constitution

(Joe Wolverton, II, J.D) - The Alaska state legislature is considering a bill that would mandate the study of the Constitution in public schools...A committee hearing held last week was attended by “members of the public who supported the bill, including some educators,” the Associated Press reported on February 6. The AP told the story of one educator who sees the measure as an opportunity to deliver timely instruction to kids who are woefully uneducated about the Constitution:       http://www.thenewamerican.com/usnews/constitution/item/20075-alaska-considers-bill-requiring-study-of-constitution-key-founding-documents-in-schools

Video: Yes, ISIS is a threat to US
(Ed Morrissey) - Last week, as the nObama administration attempted to relaunch a coherent national security policy, Susan Rice claimed that there were no threats “of the existential nature of what we confronted during World War II or during the Cold War” to the US homeland...That seems rather laughable, considering the hostility of nuclear-armed Russia and the expanding military of China, let alone the Iranian race to nuclear weapons that Barack nObama has failed to stop. Even as just a reference to the situation in Iraq and Syria, Rice’s remarks are almost willfully blind. It may be true in the sense that ISIS won’t send aircraft carriers to Pearl Harbor any time soon. On the other hand, al-Qaeda managed to surpass the death total of Pearl Harbor on 9/11 by creating their own ad hoc hijacked air force of four airplanes with 19 hijackers. Asymmetric warfare has changed all those calculations, which we should have learned 13 years ago.       http://hotair.com/archives/2015/02/09/video-yes-isis-is-a-threat-to-us/?utm_source=hadaily&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=nl

Another Muslim Freed, which Proves nObama is a RADICAL MUSLIM
Sami al-Arian
(Ben Barrack) - Some are cheering the news that convicted terrorist Sami al-Arian has been ‘deported’ to Turkey. Upon further review, this deportation may be closer to the ones given to the Taliban Five who went to Qatar along with $5 Billion in exchange for deserter Bowe Bergdahl...Where al-Arian is going – and where he is not – speaks volumes. According to a report published on al-Arian’s ‘deportation’, Egypt would have been a better fit for al-Arian to go. That is where he lived prior to coming to the U.S. and that is where he was once expected to be deported. If the Muslim Brotherhood was still in power in Egypt, that destination may have been more realistic. Instead, al-Arian was ‘deported’ to Turkey, the same country so many Muslim Brotherhood leaders fled to after Mohammed Mursi was removed from power in Egypt. Now that Gen. Abdel Fatah el-Sisi is in power there, al-Arian likely would have been jailed upon landing in Cairo. Now, al-Arian is a candidate to join Muslim Brotherhood collaborators who seek el-Sisi’s overthrow from Turkey.       http://shoebat.com/2015/02/07/president-obama-sets-another-muslim-terrorist-free-proves-obama-radical-muslim/

US State Makes Move to Ban Shocking Shariah Law Practice
(conservativetribune.com) - It’s beyond us how any female could support Islam knowing that their practices and stance toward women are nothing short of barbaric, disgusting and purely evil...One of the practices under Shariah law that stands out as the most brutal and humiliating is female genital mutilation. It involves a procedure that partially or fully removes external female genitalia in an attempt to prohibit them from having any pleasure during sex. Shockingly, there are states in the United States that currently do not have laws banning the cruel procedure. But in South Dakota, that’s about to change. A state house committee recently approved a proposal that would ban the Shariah practice — one that’s championed by Islam.       http://conservativetribune.com/us-state-bans-barbaric-shariah-practice/?utm_source=feedblitz&utm_medium=FeedBlitzEmail&utm_content=936184&utm_campaign=0
Why Bernie Goldberg & I Are Phfft
Burt Prelutsky

(burtprelutsky.com) - For quite a long time, Bernard Goldberg, Bill O’Reilly’s go-to guy on media matters, carried my articles on his blog. But, recently, he let me know that would no longer be the case. I had been dumped before, most notably by Townhall. But whereas Townhall never told me why, Bernie, who’s a stand-up guy, made his reasons clear.

So in case that’s where you were reading me, here is why you no longer will: After paying me a few nice compliments, Bernie wrote: “I just don’t have time to worry about what you’re going to say next about blacks or Muslims or gays or whomever.”

In response, I wrote: “I can’t argue with you, except to state that where blacks are concerned, I believe I have differentiated between the good and the bad on many occasions. On the other hand, when it comes to Islam, I admit I find it difficult to differentiate between those who massacre and those who merely dance in the streets to celebrate massacres.

“However I may feel about sodomy, I don’t believe I have made it a practice to defame homosexuals; I have objected to same-sex marriages because I think it is a farcical and faddish notion, and I have objected to the confrontational assaults the gays have made on those who, like me, favored Prop 8 here in California.

“But as you say, it would be wrong for you to tolerate writing you object to appearing on your website, especially when, as I’ve occasionally discovered on your comments page, some of your readers assume that you write everything posted at your blog even when the articles bear someone else’s byline.

“I appreciate your having posted my articles for as long as you have, particularly now that I find you’ve been troubled by them for some time. Here’s wishing you continued success. Regards, Burt.”

One of my readers, Bob Marcks, brings up a pertinent matter, which I, in turn, will pass along to Barack nObama: If the terrorists imprisoned at Gitmo aren’t examples of real Muslims, as you keep insisting is the case whenever people shouting “Allah Akbar” are killing innocent people (aka infidels), why do you insist on providing them with prayer rugs, Korans and a Muslim diet?

In keeping with the prone position nObama immediately adopts whenever in the presence of anything smelling of Islam, Josh Earnest has indicated that in the light of the terrorist raid on Charlie Hebdo, the President would be taking matters into his own hands when it comes to future anti-jihadist articles.

On January 12th, Press Secretary Earnest reported that Barack nObama “will not be shy about expressing a view or taking the steps necessary to try to advocate for the safety and security of our men and women in uniform whenever journalists’ work may provoke jihadist attacks.”

Say good-bye to the last vestiges of sanity, courage and the sanctity of the First Amendment. It makes you wonder what other freedoms nObama has in his gun sight. One keeps hearing that nObama is trying to do things for the sake of his legacy, whether it’s preserving the Affordable Care Act, re-writing immigration laws or shoring up the communist regime in Cuba. It only goes to show that no matter how upstanding the word “legacy” sounds, we should never forget that Hitler, Stalin, Pol Pot and Mao, also left legacies.

During his State of the Union address, nObama praised several companies in his attempt to paint a rosy picture of our economy. Nearly every company he touted has been a major contributor to his campaigns, but that’s to be expected of the most partisan president since FDR. The embarrassing surprise is that within 24 hours of the speech, one of the outfits he singled out, eBay, announced it was cutting 2,400 jobs.

Equally telling was that Wall Street welcomed the lost jobs, causing eBay’s stock to jump four percent overnight. This highlights my objection to the Stock Market being used as a gauge when it comes to evaluating the economy, and helps explain why, throughout the slowest economic recovery in U.S. history, the Market has been so bullish. In a capitalist society, it serves a useful purpose, but in some ways, The Market is like a huge vulture that feeds off the carcasses of unemployed Americans.

My wife has been worrying for years over America’s disappearing steel industry. I finally looked into it, and found that things are even worse than she had imagined. But, for once, it’s not all nObama’s fault. In 1900, the U.S. produced 37% of the world’s steel. Now, we turn out a tiny fraction.

In 2013, China produced 1,320 million metric tons of iron ore, the main ingredient in the production of steel; Australia mined 530; Brazil, 398, India, 240; Russia, 102; Ukraine, 80; South Africa, 52; the U.S.40. In other words, China mined nearly as much as the next seven nations put together. Things have only gotten worse since then.

It’s not as if we’re not still using steel and it’s not as if we suddenly ran out of iron ore. We are simply trusting and paying other countries to provide what we need, and inasmuch as some of those big steel producers do not have our best interests at heart, that is a very dangerous position in which to find ourselves. If shameless enough, one might even say we could someday find ourselves up the river without an ore.

According to Ron Kessler, fulltime chronicler of the Secret Service, Loose Lips Joe Biden is conducting his own personal – very personal – war on women. It seems the V.P. insists on swimming in the nude both at home in Maryland and at his official Washington residence, choosing to ignore the embarrassment he’s causing the female members of his Secret Service detail.

It’s just a reminder of how prescient Ronald Reagan was in 1985 when he observed that the two things in Washington that were terminally unbalanced were the budget and the liberals.
