State Department cash flowed to Clinton donors -  WashEx: “Countries and companies that donated to the Clinton Foundation or paid Bill Clinton heavy fees for speeches saw an increase in State Department activity while Hilly Clinton served as secretary of state… A Washington Examiner analysis of Clinton Foundation donors suggests the State Department ramped up its diplomatic activity, foreign assistance and/or investment in countries that gave to the Clinton Foundation and hosted Bill Clinton for high-profile speeches.”   -Fox News

WITH YOUR SECOND CUP OF COFFEE
If you think Congress is feeling the heat now, consider the scene this last weekend of May in 1932. With a deepening economic depression, many unemployed veterans of WWI demanded that Congress pay out a $1,000 bonus 13 years early. Led by former National Guardsman Walter Waters, the nearly 20,000-member “Bonus Army” began to converge on Washington, DC. They were initially encouraged when the House of Representatives passed the Patman Bill, which satisfied their requests. However, the measure later failed by a wide margin in the Senate. As tempers flared, several thousand veterans that had been camping in vacant federal buildings along the Anacostia River flats, refused to vacate the capital. The protest would end in a violent conflagration. Read all about it and the role of future Gen. Douglas MacArthur from “The American Experience.”

WEEKEND RUMBLE OVER NSA PITS PAUL AGAINST BOTH    PARTIES
With the NSA’s bulk telephone data collection program set to shutdown at midnight Sunday, the Senate will meet to take a second run at the House-passed Freedom Act, which allows the collection to continue but storing the data with private companies. Majority Leader Mitch McCon-nell and senate security hawks, who want a clean extension of the NSA program, blocked the measure last week and negotiators have been trying to hammer out a face-saving deal during the Senate recess.
[WSJ: “House Speaker backstabber John Boehner is so far refusing to come back early from Memorial Day recess before the May 31 hard deadline—cornering Majority Leader Mitch McCon-nell with a take-it-or-leave-it ultimatum. Thus the Senate Majority Leader can either release the House bill, which effectively ends the bulk collection of telephone metadata records and impairs the National Security Agency amid rising global threats. Or he can allow the larger legal architecture of U.S. antiterror defenses to collapse.”]

 BELGIAN BEATDOWN
When it comes to breakfast, you just don’t stand between vacationers in Western Michigan and their waffles. Travelers at America’s Best Value Inn in Pere Marquette Township learned just how seriously some take their first meal of the day when a woman cut the line to the waffle maker. “One lady walked up to another lady and asked if she was in line for the waffle maker thing and the lady never answered her,” Mason County Sheriff Kim Cole told WWJ. “So the first lady went and made a waffle, and when she went to go and take it this other gal tried to take it from her and that started the fight over the waffle.” What then ensued was a breakfast battle royale that resulted in nearly 30 people being ejected from the hotel. “We had two-thirds of our road patrol tied up on this fiasco,” Cole said.

 A WORD FROM CHARLES
“[Hilly Clinton] has no legacy as secretary of state. I mean, if that’s it, where essentially it was the beginning of a trade treaty where she said it was the gold standard but it means so little to her that she now says I have no idea what’s in it, I don't know how I’m going to end up, tells you what the four years were spent doing and amounts to essentially zero in terms of accomplishment.” – Charles Krauthammer on “Special Report with Bret Baier.”

nObama Warns Fellow Democrat to Pipe Down
(fixthisnation.com) ~ In an interview with Fox & Friends Wednesday, Representative Henry Cuellar (D., Texas) told the hosts that the White House isn’t happy about his outspoken criticism of the President... Cuellar has had little choice but to criticize the administration over its lackadaisical approach to border control, but it appears the White House wants him to keep his mouth shut. The hosts asked him if he’d received a tongue-lashing from the nObama camp. “Yes, I have,” Cuellar said. “But let me just say that I’m more concerned not about who gets angry at me at the White House; I’m more concerned about my constituents who want to find a practical solution to this question that we’re facing down there at the border.” Cuellar declined to tell the program who it was that had called and didn’t elaborate on the message he received, but the point was made. It didn’t have an effect on the Democratic House member’s criticism of the situation, however – a crisis that is threatening to have an indelible impact on nObama’s second-term legacy.        http://www.fixthisnation.com/conservative-breaking-news/obama-warns-fellow-democrat-to-pipe-down/

EPA Using Taxpayer Funds to Cheer Horrendous New Water Regs
(Dr. Tom Borelli) ~ It’s another day and Americans are waking up to another nightmare of executive overreach by President nObama and the inability of the GOP-led Congress to stop his assault on our liberty... This week, it was the turn of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to expand government reach by jointly issuing a new clean water regulation. Known as the “Waters of the U.S. United States,” the new regulation aims to protect drinking water by expanding regulatory control to upstream waterways, such streams and wetlands that drain into larger bodies of water like lakes and rivers. The larger water bodies serve as a source for drinking water.       http://joemiller.us/2015/06/epa-using-taxpayer-funds-to-cheer-horrendous-new-water-regs/?utm_source=JoeMiller.US+List&utm_campaign=7cb79a59ee-RSS_EMAIL_CAMPAIGN&utm_medium=email&utm_term=0_065b6c381c-7cb79a59ee-230998701

nObama Surrenders on Largest nObamnesty Program Covering 5 Mil
(Steven Ahle) ~ The nObama administration sent out the word to their minions in the tamestream press this week that the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals misread the law... and that’s why they upheld the injunction against nObama’s largest amnesty program which would have given work permits and Social Security cards to almost 5 million illegal aliens. But despite their insistence that the Fifth Circuit Court got it wrong, they have decided not to appeal it to the Supreme Court, ostensibly because they want to concentrate on the merits of the program. I call bullshit.  nObama is just trying to save himself a heap of embarrassment. Obviously, neither Judge Haren nor the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals will rule in his favor and the main case will have to go to the Supreme Court or be forgotten about altogether.        http://redstatements.co/obama-surrenders-on-his-largest-obamnesty-program-covering-5-million/

Jihad threat in Ohio is “scary,” public doesn’t get “the gravity of it”
(Robert Spencer) ~ There is no reason to believe that Ohio is special or unique in this. It just happens that a couple of jihadis in Ohio have recently been caught. They are elsewhere as well, but most Americans have no clue about that, and even the FBI... with its official policy of ignoring and denying the ideology that gives rise to this, is not doing nearly enough to prepare citizens for what is coming. The new head of the FBI’s wide-ranging Cincinnati division says the threat of homegrown terrorists in her native state is surprising and scary. Angela Byers became special agent in charge of the office that covers 48 of Ohio’s 88 counties in late February, just after back-to-back arrests of young men in Cincinnati and Columbus in separate cases alleging they were plotting attacks in the United States. Both have pleaded not guilty to all charges.        http://www.jihadwatch.org/2015/05/fbi-jihad-threat-in-ohio-is-scary-public-doesnt-get-the-gravity-of-it

13 States, DC Adopt Common Core Global Warming Brainwashing
(rickwells.us) ~ The common core propagandist are doing exactly what was feared would happen with a national education system, the youth of America are being indoctrinated into a false ideology based upon subjective, fraudulent, and agenda driven misinformation... Thirteen states and the District of Columbia have committed the children of their citizens to the common core brainwashing and are mandating that the false “science” be accepted as fact in their curriculum and testing. Labeling what someone tracked across the carpet as common core’s “Next Generation of Science Standards,” the same junk science that is being peddled by the UN to adults is being forced upon young and malleable children, indoctrinating them into the global citizen, anti-American camp.       http://rickwells.us/13-states-dc-adopt-common-core-global-warming-brainwashing-now-taught-as-fact/

hanoi Kerry: The Internet To Be Under The Authority Of The UN
(AmyElizabeth) ~ In a speech today in South Korea, Secretary of State hanoi John Kerry said that the Internet “needs rules to be able to flourish and work properly.” This, according to hanio Kerry, is necessary even for “a technology founded on freedom... Speaking on behalf of the nObama administration, hanoi Kerry said that Internet policy is “a key component of our foreign policy.” hanoi Kerry made his remarks in the context of talking about how international law is applicable to the Internet. “As I’ve mentioned, the basic rules of international law apply in cyberspace. Acts of aggression are not permissible. And countries that are hurt by an attack have a right to respond in ways that are appropriate, proportional, and that minimize harm to innocent parties. We also support a set of additional principles that, if observed, can contribute substantially to conflict prevention and stability in time of peace. We view these as universal concepts that should be appealing to all responsible states, and they are already gaining traction,” said hanoi Kerry. Boy is he twisted and wrong.       http://gopthedailydose.com/2015/05/31/watch-john-kerry-calls-for-the-internet-to-be-placed-under-the-authority-of-the-united-nations/

Hilly's top aide with terror ties saw all emails
(Aaron Klein) ~ A full review of Hilly Clinton’s personal emails released last Friday by the State Department finds Clinton’s senior aide, Huma Abedin, was exposed to highly sensitive U.S. government information... It was Abedin who forwarded to Clinton’s personal email address details about the initial establishment of the U.S. special mission in Benghazi, updates about security threats to both the mission and Ambassador Chris Stevens, intelligence on the growing terrorist threat in Libya and insider information on the Sept. 11, 2012 attack in Benghazi. Abedin was privy to emails that contained the exact movements of Stevens while he was stationed in arguably one of the most dangerous zones in the world for any American diplomat.        http://www.wnd.com/2015/05/hillarys-top-aide-with-terror-ties-saw-all-emails/

KATHLEEN WILLEY: HILY A 'MONEY-HUNGRY HYPOCRITE'
(Joe Kovacs) ~ Kathleen Willey, the former White House aide who claims President Bill Clinton sexually assaulted her in 1993 during his first term, now suspects the former president suffers from dementia, and calls Hilly Clinton a “money-hungry” hypocrite who looks “awfully haggard” and is the “worst role model for a wife and a mother and a politician.”..She is now seriously questioning the mental health of both of the Clintons. “Hilly is really looking awfully haggard these days,” Willey said. “After watching Bill's performance with NBC News' Cynthia McFadden, when he said that I’ve gotta pay my bills, I think he’s showing early signs of dementia or something. He’s not the old Bill Clinton that we all remember. I mean, he was all over the place. Now you’re seeing clips of Hilly talking to herself all the time. I think that I want somebody in there who knows what they’re doing, and money isn’t the No. 1 issue for them. They have enough money. They made $30 million … in the last 15 months on speaking engagements. Isn’t that enough?” http://www.wnd.com/2015/05/kathleen-willey-hillary-a-money-hungry-hypocrite/

The Cash Clinton Has No Answer For
(David Sirota) ~ Among all the rivers of money that have flowed to the Clinton family, one seems to raise the biggest national security questions of all: the stream of cash that came from 20 foreign governments who relied on weapons export approvals from Hilly Clinton’s State Department... Federal law designates the secretary of state as “responsible for the continuous supervision and general direction of sales” of arms, military hardware and services to foreign countries. In practice, that meant that Clinton was charged with rejecting or approving weapons deals — and when it came to Clinton Foundation donors, Hilly Clinton’s State Department did a whole lot of approving.       http://americanactionnews.com/articles/the-cash-clinton-has-no-answer-for

Already 41 U.S. Citizens Arrested on Terror-Related Charges in 2015
(barbwire.com) ~ I knew it was bad. And as I’ve documented many times recently, getting worse–seemingly by the day. But upon first glance, the number of American citizens that have been arrested by U.S. authorities this year for supporting ISIS and other Islamic terror groups still stunned me... My friend Patrick Poole, one of America’s leading investigative journalists and a top authority on all the latest developments in the global jihad, wrote this week that no less than 41 U.S. citizens have been arrested on Islamic terrorism charges—overwhelmingly ISIS-related—since January 1st of this year alone. To put it in even more stark terms, that averages out to roughly two U.S. citizens arrested every week since the beginning of this year for supporting ISIS. And according even to nObama administration officials, not exactly the most forthcoming bunch when it comes to admitting the

Catechism is Hate Speech?

(tommclaughlin.blogspot.com) ~ About three years ago I began wearing a crucifix 24/7. It identifies me as a Christian. Among Christians, it identifies me as a Roman Catholic. Atheists who see it may think me an intellectual lightweight who could just as easily believe in the Tooth Fairy, or that the earth was created six thousand years ago.

Back in 2002 when the homosexual priest scandal broke, I almost left the Catholic church. There are still issues the American Conference of Catholic Bishops champion that make me cringe. Some things Pope Francis says make me uncomfortable too. Nonetheless, to follow the Magisterium (official teachings of the Catholic Church) is to believe abortion kills a human being and homosexuality is “intrinsically disordered.” That puts me on a collision course with the progressive Thought Police who would force me to shut up about what I believe.

Chicago’s Cardinal Francis George, who I’ve quoted in this space before, died a few weeks ago. Five years ago, he said something prophetic: “I’ll die in my bed. My successor will die in prison. His successor will die a martyr. His successor will pick up the shards of a ruined society and slowly help rebuild civilization, as the church has done so often in human history.” Two years later in 2012, he said he was being “overly dramatic.” Here in 2015, however, rhetoric coming from Democrat and Republican candidates for president in 2016 indicate he was more right than he knew.

.
He did die in his bed. Will his successor die in prison? That might have been plausible if Pope Francis appointed conservative Cardinal Raymond Burke to take his place after removing him from a key Vatican post. Burke stands his ground, and that’s probably why he didn’t fit in at the Vatican. Instead Pope Francis banished the conservative Burke to Malta and appointed someone more likely to go with the “progressive” flow in Chicago.

Last month, the leading Democrat presidential candidate for 2016 said: “Laws have be backed up with… political will… and deep-seated cultural codes, religious beliefs and structural biases have to be changed.” Hilly Clinton was speaking about “reproductive health care,” her favorite euphemism for abortion, but her remarks indicate how far the left may go pushing their social/political agenda. They’re throwing down the gauntlet for conservative Christians — ready to use the power of government to make us change what we believe about the very nature of God and human life. nObamacare mandates to pay for abortion-inducing drugs were only the beginning.

Republican presidential candidate Marco Rubio seemed to pick up Hilly’s gauntlet when he said last week that anyone who believes marriage is between one man and one woman is labeled: “a homophobe and a hater. The next step is to argue that the teachings of mainstream Christianity, the Catechism of the Catholic Church, is hate speech…”
.

Canada’s Supreme Court ruled two years ago that biblical speech opposing homosexual behavior is a “hate crime.” The Province of Alberta passed its Education Act three years ago under which “homeschoolers and faith-based schools will not be permitted to teach that homosexual acts are sinful as part of their academic program.” How long until such rulings are passed down in the USA?

It’s not as if the Catholic Church in America is conservative. With the exception of Cardinal Burke and a few others, it’s not. I attend mass every Sunday in Maine or New Hampshire, and never in the last ten years have I heard a sermon about abortion. Only once was homosexual “marriage” discussed when Maine’s Bishop Malone urged parishioners to vote against a homosexual “marriage” referendum in 2009. Rather, parish priests seem to go out of their way to avoid those subjects. That’s why I was surprised to hear Pope Francis say: “We cannot insist only on issues related to abortion, gay marriage and the use of contraceptive methods… it is not necessary to talk about these issues all the time.”
.
CCC.jpg
.
Perhaps it’s different in Rome or in Argentina where Pope Francis comes from, but up here in Maine and New Hampshire, they’re not talked about “all the time.” They’re not discussed at all, and silence implies assent. Prior to Francis, we had two conservative popes in Benedict and John Paul II. Although Francis hasn’t tried to modify the Magisterium, he’s signaling a willingness to bend, even cozying up with President nObama on several issues. Leftists who dominate in our mainstream media are predictably thrilled. Out here in the trenches, however, conservative Catholics are dismayed.
.

What difference does it make?
.
Some of us feel we have more in common with conservative protestants than with many of our Catholic leaders in the United State, in Europe, and in the Vatican itself.
