'Progressives' Wage the Real War on Women
Allyne Caan: In preparation for Inauguration Day, the Left is resurrecting its "war on women" propaganda. Not that it's been dormant long, mind you. But they've scheduled a demonstration in Washington the day after Donald Trump's swearing in with the message that "women's rights are human rights."
It's an ironic approach, really. For years, Democrats have claimed the mantle of the "party of women," culminating in the nomination of the Most Accomplished Woman in History™ for president. Yet it's beyond hypocritical for the party to claim such "pro-women" bona fides when it supports coercing women into killing their unborn babies while denying them all the facts, tells women they should vote based on their sex not their brains, and pushes a candidate who attempted to break that phantom "glass ceiling" only by standing on the desk her husband used for different ends.
Still, they do, despite continued evidence from leftist leaders and supporters alike that respecting and advancing women is merely a front for objectifying them.
Consider, for example, leftist pop star Ariana Grande's recent complaint over a fan's sexist comments. Apparently recovered from crying at Trump's election, Grande was out with her boyfriend, rapper Mac Miller, when a male fan allegedly told Miller, "Ariana is sexy as hell, man. ... I see you hitting that!" (That's a euphemism for sexual conquest.) USA Today reports Grande said the encounter left her feeling "sick and objectified."
As any such ungentlemanly behavior should. Yet Grande's own music and music videos invite men to "hit that," and then some. What's more, Miller — whom we would imagine Grande thinks "respects" her — raps lyrics so sexually explicit and obscene it's amazing anything said on the street would faze Grande at all.
As the always erudite Thomas Sowell put it in his final "Random Thoughts" column, "The word 'risqué' would be almost impossible to explain to young people, in a world where gross vulgarity is widespread and widely accepted."
Still, Grande is one of many on the Left who scream foul at the "objectification" of women while perpetrating the very injustice she supposedly rejects.
Barack liar-nObama is another. Remember, when he said, "Beyoncé could not be a better role model for my girls because she carries herself with such class and poise and has so much talent." Surely he wasn't referring to her song lyrics that are far too graphic to reprint here. And the way Beyoncé conducts herself on stage should not be what any father wants for his daughter.
Yet, the Black Panthers wanna-be herself once wrote, "We have to teach our boys the rules of equality and respect." Yup, respect Bill liar-Clinton style. liar-nObama seemed to agree.
The Left's abhorrent treatment of women goes beyond just exploitation by powerful men like liar-Clinton and the Kennedy clan, or even the raunchy behavior and performance and shameless attire of Beyoncé and Grande. Leftist policies and tactics do as much if not more to objectify women.
Need proof? After liar-Hillary Clinton's loss, rabid feminist Lena Dunham, who recently confessed she's never had an abortion but wishes she had, dried her tears (yes, she also cried) then lashed out that "white women, so unable to see the unity of the female identity, so unable to look past their violent privilege, and so inoculated with hate for themselves, showed up to the polls for [Trump]."
To the Left, women aren't independent, thoughtful human beings free to choose Trump, liar-Clinton, or any other candidate. They're mere objects — vote tallies — who by nature of the "unity of the female identity" must toe the XX chromosome line.
That's objectification. And young girls are fair game for leftist objectification too. That's why Planned Parenthood, which gets half a billion in taxpayer dollars each year, has repeatedly ignored reporting statutory rape. After all, women — and young teenage girls — are mere objects, good only for the abortion income they generate.
And yet, Planned Parenthood reps will be at the "war on women" Washington demonstration, along with other leftists who fly the flag of women's rights but routinely strip women of dignity, choice and even basic legal protection against sexual predators.
To be sure, the Left doesn't hold a monopoly on exploiting women, but they take the prize for hypocrisy on this front. So the next time you hear liberals whine about the objectification of women, remember, the loudest critic is oftentimes the chief offender.  ~The Patriot Post
PM says terror attack inspired by ISIS
by Arutz Sheva Staff
{} ~ Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu stated that the terrorist who killed four soldiers in a ramming attack in the Armon Hanatziv neighborhood of Jerusalem Sunday afternoon was inspired by the ISIS terrorist organization... "We are here after a brutal terrorist attack in which four soldiers were tragically murdered, three women and one man. We know the identity of the perpetrator, who by all indications is a supporter of the Islamic State. We have closed off the Jabal Mukaber neighborhood from which he came, and we are doing other things which I will not detail here." Netanyahu said in a statement in Hebrew, He said that there may be a connection between today's ramming attack and other ISIS-inspired ramming attacks in Europe. "...
Shut Down America’s Refugee Programs
Before They Turn Us Into Germany
by James Simpson
{} ~ On the first day of the new year, Islamic terrorists claimed another 39 victims, including Americans, in an attack at a popular nightclub in Istanbul, Turkey... The Christmas truck attack in Berlin recalls the similar July attack in Nice, France. The suspect, Tunisian asylum seeker Anis Amri, was killed in a shootout with Italian police on December 23. Amri had been denied asylum in Germany due to his terror risk, but was not deported because Tunisia would not accept him since he lacked a passport. Amri carried six different aliases from three nations and had been monitored by German authorities. He was not a “lone jihadist” but part of an ISIS cell, and traveled covertly, like some of the Paris killers, with the refugee flow from the Mediterranean. On the same day as the Berlin attack, there was a knife attack at a Virginia Metro station by an African Muslim, Ali Ahmed Mohamound. A similar knife attack occurred in New York City the day before, with the suspect still at large...
liar-nObama Breathes Life Into Syrian
Marxist Movement, With Millions In Aid
by Saagar Enjeti
{} ~ U.S. anti-ISIS military assistance is emboldening Syrian Kurdish Marxist rebels, threatening to destabilize the region for decades... The Kurdish rebels, known as the Yekîneyên Parastina Gel‎ (YPG), subscribe to a Marxist ideology propagated by a jailed terrorist leader. The YPG has deep ties to the Turkish, Kurdistan Worker’s Party (PKK), which is a Kurdish independence group and recognized as a terrorist organization by the U.S. government. The YPG, however, has proven to be the most effective force in the anti-ISIS fight in Syria. Hundreds of U.S. military advisors are embedded with Kurdish militias, and they frequently receive aerial assistance from the U.S. military. The increasing reliance on such groups by the liar-nObama administration has caused a major rift between the U.S. and Turkey, and made the YPG stronger than it has ever been before...
Russian Senator – Putin Didn’t Threaten
US “Democracy,” It Was liar-nObama
by Rick Wells
{} ~ We know that there will probably be another shoe or two to drop in the war of words and more between Hussein liar-nObama and Russia... It’s like liar-nObama doesn’t realize he’s getting his nose rubbed in the soiled carpet as he asks, in an anxious and hungry tone, what’s cooking in the kitchen. On Friday a Russian official countered the arguments of the liar-nObama regime and their intelligence community narrative, declaring that US democracy was undermined by ‘president’ liar-nObama’s administration and the media, not by Moscow’s alleged hacking during the campaign. He’s a foreigner so we should probably give him a pass in describing our government as a democracy and for calling liar-nObama our ‘president.’ Russian Senator Alexey Pushkov made his comments after the public release of a “US intelligence report” that accused Russian President Putin of deliberately orchestrating an effort to “undermine public faith in the U.S. democratic process.” That doesn’t mean any cyber activity was involved, he could have been posting videos of liar-Clinton’s seizures on Facebook or photos of her 9/11 face-plant on buses on the Chicago South Side...
Even more evidence liar-nObama
birth certificate 'fake'
by Bob Unruh
{} ~ An investigator who was commissioned by now-retired Sheriff Joe Arpaio to find out whether the document President liar-nObama presented as his birth certificate is real says there’s now a 10th feature of the document that shows it’s fraudulent... Investigator Mike Zullo, who joined with Arpaio in a Dec. 15 news conference disclosing nine other elements that experts concluded were copied to create liar-nObama’s document, released a video to WND explaining the additional evidence. It explains that two stamps on the liar-nObama document not only were identical in angle to the stamps on another birth certificate – that of Johanna Ah’nee from the same time period – they also had the identical vertical relationship...

Cold War Relic, Present Day Threat
by Charles Krauthammer
{} ~ You can kick the can down the road, but when Kim Jong Un announces, as he did last Sunday, that “we have reached the final stage in preparations to test-launch an intercontinental ballistic rocket,” you are reaching the end of that road.

Since the early 1990s, we have offered every kind of inducement to get North Korea to give up its nuclear program. All failed miserably. Pyongyang managed to extort money, food, oil and commercial nuclear reactors in exchange. But it was all a swindle. North Korea was never going to give up its nukes because it sees them as the ultimate guarantee of regime survival.

The North Koreans believe that nukes confer inviolability. Saddam Hussein was invaded and deposed before he could acquire them. Kim won’t let that happen to him. That’s why Thae Yong Ho, a recent high-level defector, insisted that “As long as Kim Jong Un is in power, North Korea will never give up its nuclear weapons, even if it’s offered $1 trillion or $10 trillion in rewards.”

Meanwhile, they have advanced. They’ve already exploded a handful of nuclear bombs. And they’ve twice successfully launched satellites, which means they have the ICBM essentials. If they can miniaturize their weapons to fit on top of the rocket and control reentry, they’ll be able to push a button in Pyongyang and wipe out an American city.

What to do? The options are stark:

(1) Preemptive attack on its missile launching facilities. Doable but reckless. It is the option most likely to trigger an actual war. The North Koreans enjoy both conventional superiority and proximity: a vast army poised at the Demilitarized Zone only 30 miles from Seoul. Americans are not going to fight another land war in Asia.

(2) Shoot down the test ICBM, as advocated by the Wall Street Journal. Assuming we can. Democrats have done their best to abort or slow down anti-missile defenses since Ronald Reagan proposed them in the early 1980s. Even so, we should be able to intercept a single, relatively primitive ICBM of the sort North Korea might be capable of.

Though such a shoot-down would occur nowhere near North Korean soil, it could still very well provoke a military response. Which is why the new administration should issue a clear warning that if such a test missile is launched, we will bring it down. Barack liar-nObama is gone. Such a red line could be a powerful deterrent.

(3) Return tactical U.S. nuclear weapons to South Korea. They were withdrawn in 1991 by George H.W. Bush in the waning days of the Cold War. Gorbachev’s Soviet Union responded in kind. A good idea in general, but not on the Korean Peninsula. Pyongyang had railed constantly against their presence, but they did act as a deterrent to any contemplated North Korean aggression. Which might make them a useful bargaining chip.

(4) Economic leverage on China, upon which Pyongyang depends for its survival. Donald Trump seems to suggest using trade to pressure China to get North Korea to desist. The problem is that China has shown no evidence of being willing to yield a priceless strategic asset — a wholly dependent client state that acts as a permanent thorn and distraction to U.S. power in the Pacific Rim — because of mere economic pressure.

(5) Strategic leverage on China. We’ve been begging China for decades to halt the North Korean nuclear program. Beijing plays along with sanctions and offers occasional expressions of dismay. Nothing more. There’s one way guaranteed to get its attention. Declare that we would no longer oppose Japan acquiring a nuclear deterrent.

This is a radical step that goes against our general policy of nonproliferation. But the point is to halt proliferation to the infinitely more dangerous regime in North Korea. China is the key. The Chinese have many nightmares, none worse than a nuclear-armed Japan.

The principal strategic challenge facing the United States is the rise of revisionist powers — Russia, China and Iran — striving to expel American influence from their regions. In comparison, the Korean problem is minor, an idiosyncratic relic of the Cold War. North Korea should be a strategic afterthought, like Cuba. And it would be if not for its nukes.

That’s a big if. A wholly unpredictable, highly erratic and often irrational regime is acquiring the capacity to destroy an American city by missile. That’s an urgent problem.

North Korea may be just an unexploded ordnance of a long-concluded Cold War. But we cannot keep assuming it will never go off.

After Years Of Stagnation Under Obama
Household Income Hits 50-Year High

Image result for money

Former President Barack Obama got plenty of praise for shepherding us through the recovery from the 2008 economic crisis. However, those on Main Street, USA, knew the truth — things weren’t any better than they had been when George W. Bush left office.

As The Weekly Standard reported in 2016, median household income when Obama came into office in 2009 was $56,731. In 2015, six years into his presidency, that number was $56,516 — a decrease of just over $200.

By the time he left office, it’s true that media household income had risen to $59,471 — but that was essentially the same as it had been in December, 2007, at the end of the “Great Recession” and just a few weeks before Obama took office, when it was $59,549.

So, how’s The Donald doing?

Well, as Investor’s Business Daily reported, a new study from Sentier Research found that the median household income in April was $61,483 — a 50-year high.

That’s up from $59,471 in January of 2017.

The firm tracks income using census data and adjusts for inflation — so even a slightly weaker dollar doesn’t account for the increase.

Bad News For Dems: Household Income Hits All-Time High Under Trump … And He's Getting Credit For It!!!

Household Income Hits All-Time High Under Trump, And He's Getting Credit For It

A new report shows that the median household income has climbed 3% since President Trump took office. It's another sign of a strong economy, and at least one poll shows the public credits Trump for...

That’s great news for the country, but maybe not the best news for Democrats.

“This is just another indication that the economy has notably strengthened under Trump. And polls show that the public’s mood has brightened considerably as a result,” Investor’s Business Daily reported.

“The latest IBD/TIPP Economic Optimism Index is 53.6. This index has been in positive territory (anything over 50 is optimistic) since Trump took office. The Quality of Life Index, meanwhile, hit a 14-year high in May and the Financial Stress Index is at an all-time low.”

That economic data is followed by a lot of polls that seem to show that the “blue wave” expected in the November midterms breaking and rolling back into the sea.

A new Reuters poll found that a generic Republican would beat a generic Democrat by six points. Back in March, the Democrats were up by nine points. A CBS poll found that Democrats had a two-point advantage on the generic ballot — hardly “wave” material.

The CBS poll also found that 68 percent of Americans believed Trump’s policies deserved at least some of the credit for the economic situation, with 35 percent saying he deserved a “great deal” of the credit.

Sixty-four percent of respondents rated the economy as “somewhat good” or “very good.” In a CNN poll, 57 percent of voters said that “things are going well in the U.S.” In February, that was 49 percent.

Perhaps the most important figure: Under Obama, when Gallup asked whether it was a good time to find “a quality job in the U.S.,” the highest number that administration ever achieved was 45 percent. Under Trump, that number is 67 percent — the highest number in the 17-year history of the poll.

While Trump’s personal numbers haven’t seen the same bounce, they’re still up — and that’s the important thing. Thanks to the relentless campaign of personal attacks against him, Trump’s stated approval rating has always been a lot lower than it probably is.

Don’t believe me? Just ask Hillary Clinton. For all of the personal barbs and attacks, 2016 ultimately came down to the economy. So will 2018 — and that’s not good news for the Democrats.
