collusion claims now called 'likely false'

{washingtontimes.com} ~ Yahoo News’ Michael Isikoff, an early public conduit for Christopher Steele’s anti-Trump dossier, now says the former British spy’s sensational Russia collusion charges lack apparent evidence and are “likely false.”... As Election Day loomed in September 2016, Mr. Isikoff was the first Washington journalist to write about Mr. Steele’s memos. He focused on Mr. Steele’s contention that Trump campaign volunteer Carter Page met with nefarious operatives of Russian President Vladimir Putin during a publicly announced trip to Moscow in July 2016. As reported by the Daily Caller, Mr. Isikoff this month told Mediaite columnist John Ziegler: “When you actually get into the details of the Steele dossier, the specific allegations, we have not seen the evidence to support them, and in fact, there is good grounds to think that some of the more sensational allegations will never be proven and are likely false.” Mr. Isikoff is best friends with Fusion GPS co-founder Glenn Simpson, who hired Mr. Steele in May and June 2016 with money funneled through a law firm from the scumbag/liar-Hillary Clinton campaign and the Democratic National Committee. Mr. Isikoff was one of a handful of mainstream journalists who met with Mr. Steele in Washington as arranged by Mr. Simpson. Mother Jones magazine’s David Corn wrote the second Washington dossier story based on an interview with Mr. Steele, who acknowledged he was desperate to stop the Trump campaign and prompt the FBI to ratchet up its investigation. Mr. Isikoff and Mr. Corn would team up on a March 2018 best-selling book, “Russian Roulette.” It told Mr. Steele’s story in a favorable light amid a narrative on Moscow’s direct election interference by hacking Democratic Party computers....

{westernjournal.com} ~ In a series of tweets Friday morning, President Donald Trump threatened to shut down the southern border if the border wall doesn’t receive funding... According to Reuters, Democrats and the White House are still far apart on the funding for the wall. The White House has requested $5 billion in wall funding and has partially shut down the government since last Friday. The Democrats, meanwhile, have only offered $1.3 billion in funding for broader border security but not for a wall — a prospect they have long opposed. Congress is in recess until next week. However, even before they go back into session, the president is firing salvos in order to keep the Democrats on their toes. “We will be forced to close the Southern Border entirely if the Obstructionist Democrats do not give us the money to finish the Wall & also change the ridiculous immigration laws that our Country is saddled with. Hard to believe there was a Congress & President who would approve!” Trump tweeted. {israelnationalnews.com} ~ An American citizen was sentenced to life in prison by a Palestinian Authority court Monday for involvement in the sale of Arab-owned real estate to Jews... On Monday, the Grand Criminal Court in Ramallah sentenced Isaam Akel, an Arab American who also holds an Israeli identification card, to life imprisonment with hard labor, the PA’s WAFA media outlet reported. According to the report, Akel had been brought before the court on December 23rd after being indicted for the “sale of land to a foreign country”. A US government official responded to the report, saying that the US was aware of the sentence, and would provide "consular assistance". "We are aware of reports that a U.S. citizen has been sentenced by a Palestinian court. When a U.S. citizen is incarcerated abroad, the U.S. government works to provide all appropriate consular assistance." Akel disappeared in October, after the Palestinian Authority called for his arrest, accusing him of facilitating the sale of Arab-owned property in the Aqaba Darwish section of the Old City of Jerusalem to Jews....

Real Foreign Threats From Entering U.S.

{patriotnewsdaily.com} ~ When we talk about illegal immigration and President Trump’s badly-needed wall across the southern border, we usually focus on Central American gangs... the punishing effect these hordes of immigrants have on our economy, the jobs they take from entry-level citizens, and, perhaps to a much lighter degree – the specter of terrorism. But some journalists, including the Wall Street Journal’s Mary O’Grady, have been warning that there could be real foreign threats entering our country from the south. In several columns, O’Grady has written about Russia’s increased presence in Latin America – a presence that one U.S. military commander said “could eventually transition from a regional spoiler to a critical threat to the U.S. homeland.” You would think, given the Democrats’ obsession with Russia an obsession that was utterly absent prior to the 2016 election, mind you would be all over this emerging threat. You would think they would be all for any security measures that would keep Russia mercenaries from, you know, crossing into Texas and perhaps launching some form of terrorist attack on our country. But apparently the Russian threat only matters when it’s hacked emails and a defeated scumbag/liar-Hillary Clinton.It’s worth noting that O’Grady has also written ominously about Iran’s penetration into Latin America, which can be seen in the growing number of mosques and Muslim cultural centers seen throughout the region. . Just As Trump Predicted! An Even BIGGER Caravan Moves In From Honduras
{redrightvideos.com} ~ While the issue of illegal immigration and border security rages on, a new caravan made up of an estimated 15,000 Central Americans is said to be preparing to leave Honduras in mid-January, according to migrant rights advocates, The Los Angeles Times reported.
“They say they are even bigger and stronger than the last caravan,” said Irma Garrido, a member of the migrant advocacy group Reactiva Tijuana Foundation, according to the LA Times.
Garrido said the new caravan, which is already considerably larger than the one currently camped at the Mexico-United States border, will only grow. There are rumors more migrants will join the trek north as the group moves through El Salvador and Guatemala.
Garrido, however, believes the caravan plans to stay in Mexico.
“They will stay in the south of Mexico in Chiapas and Oaxaca. Their aim is to request work there,” he said, according to the LA Times.
Newly installed Mexican President Lopez Obrador promised employment visas to Central Americans who wished to live in Mexico, Newsweek reported.
The LA Times reported that a newspaper from southern Mexico, El Diario de Chiapas, discovered that news about the groups’ plans, their numbers and the routes they plan to take is being spread through social media.
The same method of communication was used by the last caravan, whose organizers have all but disappeared now that the caravan is at the southern border of the United States.
On Facebook, reaction in Chiapas to news of a second caravan was not all favorable.
“Well, now the government does something. That work is for Mexicans that need it,” said Anna Pérez from Palenque, Mexico, on Facebook. “Opportunistic people who just want to take advantage of the Mexicans.”
The caravan that left Honduras in October, drawing the ire of President Trump and capturing international media attention, was not the first. Crowds of migrants often travel together for protection from criminals who stalk the routes.
