U.S. Welcomes Undocumented Refugees
When it comes to the nObama administration's refugee program, America's borders are basically wide open. We begin with an excerpt from The Washington Times, which notes: "Leon Rodriguez, director of U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, said a 'significant' number of refugees have been implicated in terrorist plots over the past eight years but that the rejection of some 7 percent of Syrian applications proves his officers can spot danger signs."
That assertion is not only contradictory, it's downright deceitful. Here's what Rodriguez told the Senate Judiciary Committee Wednesday: "There are cases where [a refugee applicant's] testimony is not necessarily corroborated by documents." He added, "I am acknowledging that, yes, testimony can be the basis for the grant of a refugee but it needs to be tested against other information that we know — about the country conditions, at a minimum."
Rodriguez's claim that refugees are adequately vetted was further undermined when he strongly rebuked a newly uncovered DHS memo that warns, "Refugee fraud is easy to commit, yet not easy to investigate." Yet Rodriguez's own words only affirm there are national security-impairing vulnerabilities present in the vetting process.
His testimony also supports what FBI Director James Comey revealed last October: "[I]f someone has never made a ripple in the pond in Syria in a way that would get their identity or their interest reflected in our database, we can query our database until the cows come home, but there will be nothing show up because we have no record of them."
There's no question terrorists are exploiting the system. Yet the White House website says, "Refugees undergo more rigorous screening than anyone else we allow into the United States." If that's true, the administration is setting a dangerously low bar. ~The Patriot Post

HHS Robs Taxpayers for Illegal nObamaCare Bailout
How bad is nObamaCare? Six years after its passage, it may cost Democrats the Senate. Nearly every bit of news about the law is bad — skyrocketing premiums, co-ops closing, insurers abandoning the exchanges, millions paying the penalty rather than buying coverage. And now the latest. A program called "transitional insurance" collected fees from private insurance plans to redistribute to insurance companies to cover for more expensive enrollees. (It's similar to but separate from "risk corridors.") But because nObamaCare has pretty well blown through all cost estimates, the amount collected wasn't enough. Naturally, the way Barack nObama's administration handled that runs afoul of the law, because the Department of Health and Human Services did not allocate the required funds to the U.S. Treasury (i.e. taxpayers) before bailing out insurers. In fact, rather than make any payments to the Treasury, it sat on some extra money.
According to a new GAO report, "When total collections for benefit year 2014 — $9.7 billion — fell short of the target amount for reinsurance payments, HHS did not allocate any collections to the Treasury or to administrative expenses. Because the agency collected less than the $10 billion target for reinsurance payments, it allocated all of its collections for those payments. The agency received $7.9 billion in reinsurance claims and paid these in full, leaving approximately $1.7 billion in collections, which it carried over for reinsurance payments in subsequent benefit years. As a result, HHS did not deposit any amounts collected from issuers into the Treasury." GAO says HHS doesn't have that authority. All told, nObama took $3 billion in taxpayer money and gave it to private insurers instead — all because nObamaCare is such a destructive law.
The risk corridor program is facing similar trouble, and nObama is looking to — what else — circumvent Congress and the law to fix it. There's not enough money allocated for this bailout either, so nObama's considering a plan to raid funds set aside for federal legal settlements. That would be deceitful and probably illegal, but what else is new for this an unconstitutional abomination of a "law"? ~The Patriot Post

3 U.S. Warships Off Yemen Following
Attack on UAE Ship

{usni.org} ~ Three U.S. warships are operating off the coast Yemen following a guided missile attack against a UAE operated ship by Houthi rebels, two U.S. defense officials confirmed to USNI News on Tuesday... The ships – guided-missile destroyers USS Nitze (DDG-94), USS Mason (DDG-87) and the afloat forward staging base USS Ponce (AFSB(I)-15) – are on station off Yemen near the Bab Al Mandeb strait that links the Red Sea to the Gulf of Aden. The strait is a key transit route for ships passing from the Mediterranean through the Suez Canal into the Indian Ocean. The two guided missile destroyers are assigned to the Dwight D. Eisenhower carrier strike group operating in the region. An official told USNI News the move of the trio was prompted by the guided missile attack on the Saturday HSV Swift, a high-speed ferry that was once used by U.S. Military Sealift Command and leased to the UAE. Defeating terrorism requires both local

{aei.org} ~ Shortly after the New York City bombing last month, the Wall Street journal reported that terrorist Ahmad Rahami tested his bombs in his backyard, with a video clip of a test obtained from a relative... This report comes on the heels of the neighbor in San Bernardino who saw what he believed was suspicious behavior at the home of Syed Rizwan Farook and Tashfeen Malik. Behavior, unfortunately, that the neighbor did not report to local law enforcement or the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). On a recent security briefing trip to Europe, I learned that experts believe the Brussels bombers spent roughly a month making more than 150 kilograms of triacetone triperoxide. It is highly likely at least one of their neighbors detected the strange odors. Even after the Paris bombing, ringleader Salah Abdelsam allegedly moved around Brussels, especially in the Molenbeek neighborhood, where he was hid by family. In neither case did anyone reach out to law enforcement to report these occurrences...If that doesn't work then deport them all.

The renewed attempt by the European Union to remove the Palestinian Islamist movement Hamas from its terrorism list is a case in point. Recently, an advisor to the European Court of Justice (ECJ) recommended that Hamas be removed from the EU's terrorism blacklist. In 2014, the EU's second-highest court ruled that Hamas should be taken off the list on "technical" grounds. It argued that Hamas's listing was not based on evidence, but on "factual imputations derived from the press and the internet." However, the European Council then appealed this judgement, arguing that Hamas should remain on the terrorism blacklist, citing a 2001 decision by the UK and the US that designated both Hamas and the Tamil Tigers as terrorist groups. But the recent opinion by the ECJ advisor dismisses this argument. "The council cannot rely on facts and evidence found in press articles and information from the internet," Advocate General Eleanor Sharpton said. This week is bound to be a frustrating circus of media folks crying foul over something that isn’t illegal. I have no problems with people finding ways to reduce their tax burden. In fact, if we all could, every American would be exploiting the various provisions that afford these legal deductions. This clown show started when The New York Times published Trump’s 1995 tax return over the weekend, a move that was possibly illegal, though The Resurgent’s Erick Erickson argues otherwise. It’s three pages, offers an incomplete financial profile of the Republican nominee, and shows that Trump did nothing wrong. We still don’t know Trump’s tax history. Yet, getting back to returns and the liar-Clinton campaign’s attack on Trump, it appears that liar-Hillary may have utilized a similar "scheme" by declaring a capital gains loss to avoid paying more in taxes. LGBT Activists Are Coming for Your Children

{townhall.com} ~ Do you need to lock your doors and windows at night because a homosexual predator is coming after your kids? That is absolutely not what I mean when I say that LGBT activists are coming for your children.
I’m talking about educators and government leaders; I’m talking about celebrities and judges; I’m talking about people of influence who want to indoctrinate your children even before they get to school.
I’m talking about an all-out war for the minds and hearts of your kids.
Are you equipped and ready to do what is best for these little ones?
By all means, as parents, we should teach our kids to be kind to all, especially to those who seem different and are ostracized by their peers.
And we should teach by word and example that bullying is always wrong. In other words, we don’t need to teach gay is good in order to teach that bullying is bad. In the same way, we don’t need to push every boy to be a football player and every girl to be a ballerina to combat transgender activism.
But you better believe that we need to take a stand for our kids – in the schools; in the world of entertainment and social media; in the courts; in the churches – if we want to keep them safe from this destructive and deceptive indoctrination.
Consider that there are YouTube channels dedicated to teaching pre-school children that you can be a boy or a girl or neither or both, also trying to teach them the meaning of words like queer.
Kids this age can barely tell the difference between fantasy and reality they play with dolls and toys as if they were real creatures, and they have virtually no understanding of sexuality or romantic attraction. Some even think they are dogs and like to walk on all fours and bark. Yet activists want to indoctrinate them with the latest LGBT talking points. This is so wrong.
I documented years ago how groups like GLSEN were going after elementary school children with “Terminology Game Cards” that quizzed students and teachers on terms like Biological Sex, Gender Identity, Gender Role, Transgender, Gender Expression, Sexual Orientation, Heterosexism, Transphobia, Asexual, Bisexual, Lesbian, Gay, Transsexual, Intersexual, Androgyny, Cross Dresser, Genderqueer, Gender Non-Conforming, Queer, LGBTQ, Sexual Reassignment Surgery, D/L (Down Low), MSM (Men Who Have Sex with Men).
And the average mom and dad probably have no clue that their little 7-year-old daughter just learned to distinguish between Genderqueer and Gender Non-Conforming in school today.
This is absolute madness.
Of course, I understand what motivates the activists and educators.
They want to teach “tolerance” and they want a child who does not appear to be “gender conforming” to realize that their insides might not be in harmony with their outsides.
But that doesn’t make what they’re doing right, nor does it make it helpful. And the best motivation in the world cannot change falsehood into truth.
That being said, it is clear that LGBT activists and their allies have had ample motivation to change the thinking of Americans, beginning with our children, and already in 1995, lesbian author Patricia Nell Warren stated, “Whoever captures the kids owns the future.” (Published in The Advocate, October 3, 1995, p. 80, in the article “Future Shock.”)
How sad that these activists have been far more visionary than many of us who identify as conservative Christians and who claim to care about future generations.
Frankly, I don’t doubt that we care; I do doubt that we have been on the alert.
It is becoming increasingly common for women who partially transitioned to men to give birth to their children and even nurse them – this was graphically illustrated in one of the most disturbing images I have ever seen – while a recent headline stated, “Is this the world's most modern family? Man who used to be a woman gives birth to a baby by woman who used to be a man.”
What effect will this have on the children? How will the child feel as it grows up and marries and has children yet knows that its “father” is actually its mother?
In keeping with this confusion, the hit ABC show “Modern Family” has now added a transgender child actor to its cast.
How fitting and ironic that “Modern Family” will now feature an 8-year-old boy who is actually a girl. And your kids are taking all this in.
Over in Norway, “A proposed bill in the Norwegian Parliament would allow people to change their legal gender online within a matter of minutes.”
And the word “people” includes children as young as 6-years-old. Yes, a child that young would have the ability to make a decision officially changing their legal gender.
How can this be?
Incredibly, “The bill is expected to pass with few objections when it goes to a vote this summer. Norwegians would just have to go online and simply ‘tick a box’ to change their legal gender.”
Back here in the States, the nObama administration is ready to punish schools that will not force a 15-year-old girl to share a locker room and shower with a 15-year-old boy who identifies as a girl. This is why I say that LGBT activists and their allies)are coming after your children.
Perhaps we can learn from the people of Mexico who recently rallied in more than 130 cities and drew crowds of over 200,000 in Mexico City alone, as they stood against redefining marriage and family in their country.
And we can do this without hating anyone. In fact, love requires us to act. Our children’s future is at stake.
