Perils of pot: A precious life lost
North Korea's Real Olympic Goal
by Political Editors:  It’s tempting to believe that the only real solution to the problem that is North Korea is war. And that may be especially so lately with comments regarding fingers on nuclear buttons and the size of weapon arsenals. Which makes the latest news coming out of the Asian peninsula seem rather contradictory. North and South Korea have begun talking again, something that hasn’t happened in over two years. And it was the North that reached out to the South, relaying its desire to participate in next month’s Winter Olympic Games in Pyeongchang.

Is this a case of sports diplomacy? Not likely. Rather, Kim Jong-un’s motives are two-fold. First, the fact of the matter is that the Olympics Games being hosted on the Korean peninsula is a big deal. For two weeks the world’s attention will be focused on South Korea, which essentially acts as a massive PR campaign. It serves Kim by allowing him to present a positive image of the rogue nation to the world via sports as well as domestically boosting nationalistic pride.
Second, sanctions are having a real impact, squeezing Kim hard enough that he is now angling for a means to ease them. By engaging in these talks and winning some compromises, like the U.S. and South Korea suspending normal joint military exercises, he hopes to lay the groundwork for further talks eventually leading to some type of economic concession. Ideally, he’d love for a deal similar to the Sunshine Policy, brokered by his father in 1998, which successfully brought in hundreds of millions to the rogue state’s coffers.
Ultimately, this is all part of Kim’s survival plan. He is no more interested in going to war than is the U.S., but he also knows any backing down to Donald Trump will be perceived as weakness — weakness that could be the death of him. He is navigating in such a manner as to continue toward the goal of developing a nuclear arsenal powerful enough to seriously threaten the U.S. By doing so, he will be in a more powerful position to demand the removal of sanctions while threatening massive consequences should his demands not be met. Kim’s is a plan not for war, but for greater power.

Chicago Professors Demand liar-nObama
Move His ‘Socially Regressive’ Presidential
Library Elsewhere
{} ~ Former president liar-nObama is finalizing plans for his liar-nObama Presidential Center... which will be built in Chicago, Illinois and will be within a stone’s throw of the University of Chicago. The design includes three buildings: a museum, library and forum. The library’s design and location has been a source of controversy itself within the Chicago community. In a recent letter, over 100 members of the University of Chicago faculty and dozens of community groups strongly condemn liar-nObama’s plan. Why? Because, according to the professors, the liar-nObama Presidential Center wastes millions of taxpayer dollars in an already broke state, destroys a public park and is “socially regressive” to the affluent community. Here are the complaints, in the professor’s own words...
Congressional Probe Finds Evidence of
FBI Protecting liar-Clinton in E-mail Investigation
by C. Mitchell Shaw
Congressional investigators have turned up new information indicating that high-level FBI officials including ousted director James Comey decided ahead of time to exonerate liar-Hillary Clinton... of doing anything illegal in her use of an unsecured, unauthorized, private e-mail server to send and receive classified e-mails during her tenure as secretary of state. Not only that, but evidence indicates that the FBI buried facts regrading liar-Clinton wrongdoing. In the myriad investigations now swirling around liar-Hillary Clinton, it is reasonable to ponder which one she should be most concerned about. Yet it would be difficult to imagine one that could do more to damage her than the investigations connected to her use of a private server. After all, not being indicted yet! is not the same thing as being found not guilty. liar-Clinton could presumably still be charged, tried, and convicted for the multiplicity of crimes she committed by sending and receiving at least 2,079 classified e-mails over her private server and account. With congressional investigators looking into the matter, it is not beyond the realm of possibility that she may yet have to face charges for her actions...Lock her up!!!!
Left unsuccessful in stopping Trump tornado
by Sher Zieve

{} ~ In order to complete and be successful in their plans to turn the USA into a country and world run by authoritarian global elites...
President Donald J. Trump must be eliminated as POTUS. Thus far, everything the Luciferian Left has intensely attempted to bring about – in order to force this extraordinary man to his knees – has had the opposite effect. In fact, President Trump's own tornado and boomerang the old "bounces off me and sticks to you!" show has been far more successful than the tyrannical US Deep State imagined. And, despite virtually all members of the Democrat Marxist Party – and other assorted worldwide leftists – and their attempts to destroy Mr. Trump, it is he who is thriving. It is he and we who are winning...

Perils of pot: A precious life lost
{} ~ A tragic accident on Christmas Eve in Hayward, California, took the life of Andrew Camilleri, a 33-year-old rookie Highway Patrol officer, and injured his partner, Jonathan Velasquez.

The details of the accident and the life of Camilleri captured the headlines in northern California as it drew remembrances from those who knew the man and honors from police departments from across the state.

The officer was a March graduate of the California Highway Patrol academy, and this was his first Christmas Eve shift. He leaves a wife and three children and a large loving family.

The two officers were parked on the shoulder of Interstate 880 late that Sunday night as they patrolled for dangerous drivers. Velasquez was behind the wheel and Camilleri in the front passenger seat.

Without warning, a Cadillac slammed into the rear of the patrol car, killing Camilleri outright and injuring Velasquez.

The early reports of the accident stated that the 22-year-old driver of the Cadillac was reportedly drunk and was driving so fast that the crash crushed the police SUV into “a very small compact vehicle,” as described by CHP Assistant Chief Ernest Sanchez.

A day or so later, it was revealed that the driver reportedly was under the influence of alcohol and marijuana. He remains hospitalized.

The Bay Area News Group reported on the funeral, which was attended by thousands of police officers from across the state as well as family and friends of Camilleri and Velasquez.

The details of the news stories focused on the two officers and the accident and their families and the human aspects of the tragedy.

I read them but noted with interest that what should have been emphasized was that the driver of the car, which plowed into the police SUV, was under the influence, not only of alcohol but also of marijuana.

This, within days of when the new California law went into effect, legalizing the sale and use of “recreational” marijuana.

After years of wrangling and lobbying, the state passed the law but left a variety of loopholes that will only be resolved over the bodies of victims of accidents caused by the drug.

There is a pattern to this. Reports from Colorado, which legalized pot in 2013, show a sharp increase in pot-related auto fatalities. In 2016 alone, nearly two-thirds of driver deaths involved alcohol and pot.

Washington legalized pot in 2012 and, according to AAA, pot-related fatal crashes doubled from 8 to 17 percent between 2013 and 2014. In 2014 alone, one in six drivers in fatal crashes used pot.

As for California, it is legal to sell, buy and use recreational marijuana but it is not legal to smoke it while driving or riding as a passenger in a motor vehicle.

That may be the law but, at this point, it is almost impossible to police. THC, the active ingredient in pot, stays in the system for days and weeks after it is ingested, and there is no legal level that can be tested and is considered illegal. The state still has to determine that. Until that happens and there is a way to test for it, it’s open season and the roads become more dangerous for everyone.

Police officials know it and are working with their officers to assist them is dealing with violators. But the general attitude of too many Californians is that pot is harmless and there’s nothing to get excited about.

What has gotten people excited is the availability. There were long lines at the stores that will be selling it in various forms. Everyone interviewed by reporters talked about how happy they were it was all going to be legal – whether they wanted pot for fun or for perceived medicinal purposes.

The law says it’s legal for anyone over 21 – but really, does anyone actually believe younger people won’t have access to it? There was, is and will continue to be a major black market in pot in California and other states. It is available to anyone with the bucks to buy it.

Does anyone really believe that the PR about pot being “harmless” won’t entice kids into starting to use it earlier in their lives? Once they’re over 21, they’ll have full access to a drug – yes, it is a drug – that actually damages the brain more than does alcohol. This is a fact proponents ignore, but that doesn’t change reality.

They also ignore the fact that today’s pot is more than six times the strength of the pot of the ’60s.

The politicians who pushed and approved the pot legislation are the same ones who legislate against cigarettes and all tobacco products, yet continually increase taxes on them.

Should anyone be surprised when estimates are that pot sales are expected to reach $4 billion in the next year or so – and those legal sales will bring in at least a 15 percent tax on retail prices in addition to a cultivation tax of $9.25 per ounce for flowers and $2.75 per ounce for leaves?

It’s a nice haul for the state, which needs money to cover budget deficits while it ignores the destruction of lives it is causing.

The funeral for Officer Andrew J. Camilleri was held at the Christian Life Center in Tracy, attended by thousands of mourners.

CRIME!! -> Clinton Nightmare! Chief Financial Officer Of Clinton Foundation Turns Government Informant On Crime Family

Donations to the Clinton Foundation plummeted by 90% over a three-year period since Hillary Clinton lost the 2016 election to President Donald Trump.

But that may be the least of the her worries.

John Solomon from The Hill dropped another bombshell that will keep the Clintons up at night.

The former Chief Financial Officer of the Clinton Foundation has turned on the crime family and is now working as a government informant.

This could spell doom for the Clinton Crime Family.

American Thinker reported:

John Solomon of The Hill reveals the story that has been percolating for a long time but kept tightly under wraps – because that is what serious prosecutors do, especially when grand juries are poring over evidence and issuing indictments that remain sealed until the right moment comes. The trigger for the story coming out now probably is a House subcommittee hearing scheduled next week by Mark Meadows, chair of the House Freedom Caucus, while the GOP still can set the agenda of House hearings.

[A] GOP-led congressional subcommittee, led by Rep. Mark Meadows (N.C.), is planning to hold a hearing next week to review the work of John Huber, the special U.S attorney named a year ago to investigate all things Clinton.

It turns out that whistleblowers inside and outside the Clinton Foundation have amassed “6,000 pages of evidence attached to a whistleblower submission filed secretly more than a year ago with the IRS and FBI.” Among that evidence can be found:

Those reviews flagged serious concerns about legal compliance, improper commingling of personal and charity business and “quid pro quo” promises made to donors while Hillary Clinton was secretary of State.

The submission also cites an interview its investigators conducted with Andrew Kessel that quotes the foundation’s longtime chief financial officer as saying he was unable to stop former President Clinton from “commingling” personal business and charitable activities inside the foundation and that he “knows where all the bodies are buried.”

Their own investigation! That’s hard to put down as politically motivated.

Having the chief financial officer of the Clinton Foundation turn informant is a nightmare for the Clintons. The CFO has to process all the cash, and because that person usually is on the hook for any criminal violations, there is ample incentive to turn state’s evidence.

That evidence was assembled by a private firm called MDA Analytics LLC, run by accomplished ex-federal criminal investigators, who alleged the Clinton Foundation engaged in illegal activities and may be liable for millions of dollars in delinquent taxes and penalties.

In addition to the IRS, the firm’s partners have had contact with prosecutors in the main Justice Department in Washington and FBI agents in Little Rock, Ark.
