Never Talked To Trump, Wasn’t Even
On July 25 Phone Call

{ thefederalist.com } ~ A key Democratic witness against Trump admitted in congressional testimony last month that he was not part of the July 25 phone call between the U.S. and Ukrainian presidents... that he didn’t see a transcript or readout of it until late September when it was declassified and released, and that he has never even spoken to President Donald Trump. William Taylor, the charge d’affairs of the U.S. Embassy in Kyiv, Ukraine, told lawmakers in secret testimony two weeks ago that his opinions about an alleged quid pro quo demanded by Trump were formed largely from conversations with anti-Trump staffers within the diplomatic bureaucracy. “You’ve never spoken to Mr. Rudy Giuliani?” Taylor was asked. “No, no,” he replied. “Has anyone ever asked you to speak to Mr. Giuliani?” “No,” Taylor said. “And if I may, have you spoken to the president of the United States?” Taylor was asked. “I have not,” he said. “You had no communications with the president of the United States?” “Correct,” Taylor said. He also admitted he had never spoken to Mick Mulvaney, Trump’s chief of staff. When asked who exactly he had spoken to about the brouhaha, Taylor confirmed that his only contacts about the matter were with John Bolton, the former national security adviser who was fired by Trump, Fiona Hill, Alexander Vindman, and Tim Morrison. Both Hill and Vindman are rumored to have been sources for the so-called whistleblower who filed a complaint against Trump in August. Taylor also testified that his knowledge of the phone call between Trump and Ukrainian president Volodymr Zelensky wasn’t first-hand knowledge....

{ deneenborelli } ~ News of recently released transcripts over President Trump’s impeachment inquiry is dominating the headlines... Democrats released the transcripts of testimony from former U.S. Special Envoy to Ukraine Kurt Volker and U.S. Ambassador to the E.U. Gordon Sondland, key players in the impeachment inquiry led by House Democrats. Volker testified President Trump did not withhold a meeting with Ukraine President Zelensky in return for an investigation into the 2016 election, saying, “no… there was no linkage.” Representative Jim Jordan (R-OH) Tweeted about Volker’s testimony. President Trump commented about Volker’s testimony. Most of the news focused on Sondland’s revised testimony. Initially, Sondland said he was unaware President Trump’s lawyer Rudy Giuliani was urging Ukraine to investigate Ukrainian gas company Burisma where former Vice President loose lips liar-Joe Biden’s son Hunter was serving on its board of directors. However, Sondland revised his testimony to reflect a “refreshed” view of events following his analysis of other testimony provided to Congress, saying he told a Ukraine official, “U.S. aid would likely not occur until Ukraine provided the public anti-corruption statement that we had been discussing for many weeks.” Sondland earlier testimony stated President Trump told him, “I want nothing. I want no quid pro quo. There’s currently a major controversy brewing over whether or not to reveal the name of the so-called whistleblower who filed a complaint in August about Trump’s July 25th phone call with the Ukrainian president. While Democrats and the left-leaning media have gone nuts over the idea of releasing the name of the whistleblower — House Intelligence Committee Chairman scumbag-Adam Schiff just did it by total accident. On Tuesday, scumbag-Schiff released the transcript of the committee’s interview with top U.S. ambassador to Ukraine Bill Taylor. But he forgot to redact the name of the man many believe to be the whistleblower: Eric Ciaramella. In the transcript, the interviewer asks Taylor if the name of the man who has been widely reported as the whistleblower “rings a bell?” Taylor responds, “It doesn’t.” “So, to your knowledge, you never had any communications with somebody by that name?” Taylor is asked, to which he replies, “Correct.” Turning Point USA’s Benny Johnson shared a screenshot of the transcript, which he says mean two things: either Ciaramella is not the whistleblower or the Democrats are total idiots for not redacting the name. Democrats are putting pretty much all of their faith into the “whistleblower” and hoping he will give them ammunition to take down the president. Has Started,’ ‘We Will Get Rid’ Of Trump

{ thefederalist.com } ~ One of the attorneys representing the whistleblower at the heart of the partisan Democratic impeachment inquiry against President Donald Trump, Mark Zaid... tweeted in 2017 just days after the president took office that a “coup has started,” and that “impeachment will follow ultimately.” Throughout the first few years of Trump’s presidency, Zaid has reaffirmed his commitment to remove the president from office through impeachment. In July 2017, Zaid wrote, “We will get rid of him, and this country is strong enough to survive even him and his supporters,” and later remarked that one day history will be reciting the tales of Trump’s impeachment. This is the same attorney who once threatened to get his federal intelligence contacts to doxx a random Twitter user and complained about the account’s anonymity. “Hey ‘Rex’, why don’t you reveal your identity instead of attacking someone while hiding? I’d love to have my intelligence and law enforcement clients see what they can find about your life,” Zaid wrote. Zaid’s bias against the president has been well-documented. In a podcast last year, Zaid spoke about how he often goes out of his way just to use the term “resistance,” and bragged about having sued every president since 1993. On the same podcast, Zaid also discussed fishing for a client to serve as a plaintiff against Trump in a lawsuit alleging unfair business practices stifling competition by the Trump hotel. Puerto Rico senator, 7 others arrested
by FBI in corruption investigation

{ foxnews.com } ~ A Puerto Rico senator awaiting trial on fraud charges was taken into custody Wednesday morning by federal authorities in connection with an investigation into alleged corruption... that also resulted in the arrests of seven others, officials said. Abel Nazario, a 49-year-old currently serving in the U.S. territory's 26th Senate, was apprehended as part of the probe, an FBI spokesperson said, but further information on the nature of the charges was not immediately revealed. Information was not immediately available about the seven others who were arrested Wednesday in connection with the probe. Following Nazario's arrest, Puerto Rico's Senate President, Thomas Rivera Shatz, asked for Nazario's resignation. A spokesperson for Nazario told the Associated Press the senator maintains his innocence. Nazario was previously arrested by federal authorities in September 2018 on charges of wire fraud and falsifying documents, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office for the District of Puerto Rico. He was accused of defrauding his employees while serving as the mayor of Yauco, a southwestern town in Puerto Rico, where he was an elected official from 2000 until December 2016. Prosecutors allege that, while he was mayor, municipal employees were required "to work two voluntary hours per day" — which the U.S. Department of Labor determined was a violation of the Fair Labor Standards Act. Nazario agreed to pay nearly $590,000 in back wages to 177 employees. Thomas Gallatin: On Monday, House Democrats, led by Intelligence Committee Chairman scumbag-Adam Schiff, released two transcripts from their closed-door impeachment hearings. The transcripts were from testimonies given by the former U.S. ambassador to Ukraine, Maria Yovanovitch, and the former top aide to Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, Michael McKinley.
Neither of the witnesses had direct knowledge of the July 25 phone call between President Donald Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, which was the alleged impetus behind the “whistleblower” complaint. However, Democrats allege that Trump removed Yovanovitch in May 2019 because she was proving to be an obstacle to Rudy Giuliani’s investigation into loose lips liar-Joe and Hunter Biden and Ukraine’s involvement in 2016 election interference.
Interestingly, Yovanovitch asserted, “It’s not like we had a policy that Ukraine should not become involved in our domestic politics or, you know, somehow become involved in 2020 elections, but clearly that is not in U.S. interests for Ukraine to start playing such a role.” This statement seems to effectively undercut the Democrats’ whole argument for claiming that Trump engaged in an impeachable offense. In other words, he had a legitimate interest in fighting Ukrainian corruption.
McKinley’s testimony was primarily focused on his frustration over Yovanovitch’s treatment and eventual removal. He was troubled by Pompeo’s refusal to push back against Donald Trump Jr.‘s negative comments against Yovanovitch and by Pompeo’s unwillingness to allow the State Department to issue statements in support of the ambassador. “In 37 years in the Foreign Service and different parts of the globe and working on many controversial issues, working 10 years back in Washington, I had never seen that,” McKinley stated regarding Ukrainian officials expressing concerns over Giuliani’s investigation into the 2016 election.
Cleary, Democrats are still trying to control the anti-Trump narrative as they selectively release these transcripts rather than releasing the entirety at once. Ohio Republican Rep. Jim Jordan blasted scumbag-Schiff and company for their obvious politicization, lamenting, “Democrats cherry-pick which transcripts they release and when. Why not release Ambassador Volker’s testimony? He was the very first witness to testify.” scumbag-Schiff plans to release two more transcripts today. ~The Patriot Post
