{ rickwells.us } ~ It’s hard to believe but true, US District Court Judge Gonzalo Curiel has ruled in favor of President Trump... and the right of the United States to defend its borders without having to go through the process of an environmental impact study. Butterflies and snowflakes were heartbroken at the decision. In his Tuesday announcement, Judge Curiel, who was also the judge the President Trump battled over his Mexican heritage in the Trump University case, ruled that the construction of the wall could move forward. Hear Trump Appeal of DACA Case

{ thenewamerican.com } ~ The U.S. Supreme Court declined Monday to consider the Trump administration’s appeal of District Judge William Alsup’s injunction preventing the administration from ending DACA... Alsup, a judge at the San Francisco-based U.S. district court, granted the injunction on January 9 at the request of the state of California and other plaintiffs. The injunction prevents the administration from ending DACA while their lawsuits plays out in court. The Supreme Court justices did not explain their reason for refusing to take the case, but said the appeal was “denied without prejudice.” This indicates that they will open to future consideration of the underlying legal issue still being considered by the San Francisco-based 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals. The Public Interest Legal Foundation argued that non-citizens have been voting in Pennsylvania for decades, and that problem has been evident in other states the organization has worked with—including New Jersey and Virginia. But the state has not granted PILF’s open records requests to access the data at the root of the problem, the organization said in the lawsuit filed in federal court in Harrisburg... { rickwells.us } ~ Attorney General Jeff Sessions has apparently been under the misconception that the “AG” in his title... had something to do with agriculture and the proper way for him to fulfill his duties was to act like some kind of potted plant or the odd weed occupying valuable soil at the DOJ. Now, perhaps, he’s awakened and recognizes the scent of “Roundup” in the air, realizing he’d better look busy. Sessions told a group of reporters on Tuesday that the Justice Department would at last investigate the many questions surrounding FISA abuses by the DOJ, which would include the fourth application, the renewal requested by his current deputy, Rod Rosenstein. He did not call for a special counsel, as has been the remedy sought by many Republicans in Congress who don’t trust DOJ to police themselves. Not every cover up can be engineered to have one of the perpetrators handling the investigation, as they did with Mueller. Normally Sessions would simply instruct Rosenstein to do his job for him but since that would be a bit too obvious and too easy for Rosenstein to make sure nothing came of it, he’s indicating that the Inspector General will handle the duties. Apparently the IG is the only person within the entire DOJ with the integrity to look into the matter. To be fair, congressional leaders like Chuck clown-Schumer and Nancy Pulosi – both of whom know exactly what they do and do not “have” on the president – have been warning junior members of Congress for months that they should go easy on calls for impeachment. Not only do they recognize the simple fact that impeachment would be roadblocked by the Republican majority, they understand deep down that there is absolutely nothing in evidence that would make the case for removing Trump from office. Unfortunately for them, “we don’t like him” is not a valid reason to impeach a sitting president. God knows, liar-nObama wouldn’t have lasted a year. But there’s one member of Congress who can’t get simple facts through her thick head. Perhaps it’s all of that James Brown-esque hair getting in the way. We are talking about Crazy mad-Maxine Waters, of course, one of California’s least lovable exports. Considering the vast numbers involved, life sentences would almost certainly be appropriate. That could be the case if justice were blind and dispensed in accordance with the law in this country, but we all know better. Nothing will happen to Emanuel aside from perhaps his criminality paying off with him being reelected as Chicago Mayor. Americans won’t elect him but he’s a Democrat, so he’s counting on foreign squatters who should not even be here, let alone be able to vote in any election. The whole purpose of the new is to create a means by which illegals can vote, with the corrupt, anti-American Democrats downplaying that aspect as they promote their CityKey cards as a super bus pass, library and bank ID card. City Clerk Anna Valencia, who heads the CityKey program, has preemptively declared that state election rules allow and require the Chicago Board of Election Commissioners to accept the card...
