Alaska Is More Than a Photo Op
Barack nObama has no long-term, consistent strategy for Alaska. Well, other than his climate agenda. He's visiting The Last Frontier this week to plug for an even more aggressive approach to "man-made" global warming, as he spoke before an international conference in Anchorage Monday. As The Washington Post pointed out, nObama simply used the wilderness as a visual aid for his arguments. Ahead of the conference, titled GLACIER, NASA said sea levels are rising faster than expected, and nObama matched that level of alarm. "We're not moving fast enough," nObama warned. "None of the nations represented here are moving fast enough." nObama's comments quickly descended into adolescent sniping, as he completely belittled skeptics to his regulation-heavy, Big Government "solutions" to climate change. "The time to heed the critics and the cynics and the deniers is past," he continued. "The time to plead ignorance is surely past. Those who want to ignore the science, they are increasingly alone. They're on their own shrinking island."
If nObama wants to talk about shrinking islands, he should reconsider the threat Russia poses in Arctic waters. Just like the situation in Ukraine, Russia is pushing boundaries in the Arctic, trying to grab the natural resources that lie under the ice. Currently, Russia operates 40 icebreakers and is making 11 more. The U.S.? It has only two and nObama proposes the U.S. buy one more. But nObama ignores the long-term significance of Alaska and its waters for our nation's security and energy policies to yammer about the temperature and to take a hike with reality TV star Bear Grylls. -The Patriot Post

About That Rad New Psych Study You Heard Of...
Apparently, the psych science is not settled. The Guardian reports, "Of 100 studies published in top-ranking journals in 2008, 75% of social psychology experiments and half of cognitive studies failed the replication test." There are many reasons why an experiment might fail to replicate, but more than this the study has highlighted some issues with academic publishing and modern science. University of Virginia psychology professor Brian A. Nosek, who led the effort to reproduce the experiments, told the Guardian, "The key caution that an average reader should take away is any one study is not going to be the last word. Science is a process of uncertainty reduction, and no one study is almost ever a definitive result on its own." And while the media might want to breathlessly report on a study that displays some kind of psychological quirk, the real scientific process is much more involved than one study. Think Canada Is a Model? Think Again
Some presidential candidates have pointed to Canada as a model for things like single-payer health care. (That would be Donald Trump, for those keeping score.) Of course, to keep a single-payer system running costs a lot of money, and that money has to come from somewhere. Or nearly everywhere, as it turns out. Reuters reports, "Canadians spend more on taxes than on food, clothing and shelter combined, according to a report released on Thursday, as increases in an average family's tax bill have outpaced the cost of basic necessities in the last five decades." The Frasier Institute report says the average Canadian family brings in about $60,000 (in U.S. dollars), of which 36% goes to cover basic needs and 42% is confiscated by the government. Fifty years ago, those numbers were 56% and 33%, respectively. Oh, and by the way, Canada is now arguably in recession. Email Document Dump Catches Clinton in Serious Lie
Hilly Clinton has repeatedly claimed that she never sent classified emails over her private server. Oh, she might have received some that were unintentionally unmarked, but she claims she was clean as a freshly wiped email server. But in the newest round of Hilly's emails released Monday, the State Department, sure enough, redacted email after email from public view. The Clinton campaign responded with a memo claiming the emails where just a mildly interesting sideshow into the internal communications of a presidential cabinet member. The memo said of the classified portions, "This group of emails include 125 that have had portions classified after the fact, but as confirmed again by the State Department, nothing she sent or received was marked classified." But as The Federalist's Sean Davis reports, the State Department will declassify material 10 or 15 years after the material is either created or after it receives an after-the-fact classification. State chose to declassify this material from the time it was created. In other words, from the moment Clinton's fingers typed up an email and she hit send, the document should have been classified. But her material never went through the proper classification channels, making her argument now a pathetically circular one. Furthermore, she sent some of these emails to Clinton operative Sidney Blumenthal, a person outside the State Department. What's worse? Keep in mind that these are only the emails that survived Clinton's email purge. She knew exactly what she was doing. -The Patriot Post

Media Nervous Over Hilly Sting Videos
You know an event is potentially damaging to Hilly Clinton or other top Democrats when Dana Milbank of The Washington Post shows up... Hence, Milbank’s attendance at Tuesday’s James O’Keefe news conference on Clinton campaign violations of federal election law was an indication that the Democrats are concerned. This time, despite video evidence of top staffers for Hilly accepting cash from a known foreign national, most of the media reaction was vintage Milbank. “Is this a joke?” the media wanted to know. In fairness, Milbank’s questions seemed mild, when compared to some of the other media reactions. The joke question came from Olivia Nuzzi of The Daily Beast, with other liberals joining in and wondering what the press conference was all about. The law says that foreigners are strictly prohibited from contributing to U.S. political campaigns, and O’Keefe had dramatic evidence of the campaign law violation. The video was played on a television screen for all to see.

Iran Promises to ‘Set Fire’ to U.S. Interests
{Adam Kredo} ~ A senior Iranian military official has vowed to “set fire” to all U.S. interests in the region and maintained that the Islamic Republic welcomes war with America, according to regional reports demonstrating that Tehran is still committed to fighting the United States in the wake of a recently inked nuclear accord... “In threatening remarks,” a top Iranian commander of the Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) stated that Iran is prepared to “annihilate” U.S. and Israeli war forces should they “take the slightest military move against Iran,” according to Iran’s state-controlled Fars News Agency. “We monitor their acts day and night and will take every opportunity to set fire to all their economic and political interests if they do a wrong deed,” Brigadier General Hossein Salami, the IRGC’s lieutenant commander, was quoted as saying in Tehran on Thursday.

Iran Vows to Violate UN Restrictions on Ballistic Missiles
Iranian President Hassan Rouhani vowed that the Islamic Republic would violate outstanding United Nations restrictions governing the country’s ballistic missile program and that the behavior would not violate the recent nuclear accord... according to a translation of the leader’s remarks performed by the CIA’s Open Source Center. Iran is “not committed to the restrictions on its missile program,” according to a recent comment made by Rouhani, who said a violation of international restrictions would not impact the nuclear accord recently reached with global powers. “We have formally announced that we are not committed to these provisions related to missiles mentioned in the U.N. resolution,” Rouhani was quoted as saying in an Aug. 29 Persian language speech broadcast on Iran’s state-controlled television networks. It is written into the nuclear accord that a violation of U.N. bans on Iran’s missile program will not impact the deal. George Mitchell, then Clinton’s special envoy for Middle East peace. “Pls use this for reply.” Mitchell responded with details of discussions with Italian foreign minister Franco Frattini. Most of the contents of the email, released by the State Department on Monday night, are redacted pursuant to a Freedom of Information Act exemption designed to protect classified national security information.

Illegal Aliens Sue State DMV For Drivers Licenses
{rickwells.us} ~ Attorneys for a group of illegal aliens squatting in Georgia filed a lawsuit on Monday against the Georgia Department of Driver Services charging that the state agency is violating their “constitutional rights” by denying them drivers licenses... Neither they nor their attorneys seem to have a grasp of the definition of illegal or the rights of America citizens not applying to non-Americans. Why not try to sign them up for a US passport while you’re at it, boys? The lawsuit states that the plaintiffs, who aren’t named because of “safety concerns” and “possible retaliation,” are under deportation orders and are attempting to have those orders suspended. Some of the individuals are of such outstanding character that their nations of origin have refused to accept them back.

How Dangerous is ISIS to Israel?

It captured tremendous international attention by swiftly conquering large swaths of land and by releasing gruesome pictures of beheadings and other means of executions. In Israel, concern is increasing as ISIS nears Israeli borders. Yet, several analyses of the threat ISIS poses to Israel seem to be unnecessarily alarmist. ISIS is primarily successful where there is a political void. Although the offensives in Syria and Iraq showed the Islamic State's tactical capabilities, they were directed against failed states with weakened militaries. {aim.org} - Since 1979, a cabal of nations has aided and abetted Iran in its efforts to develop a robust nuclear program under the guise of generating a nuclear energy system. This cabal is mainly comprised of Russia, China, and North Korea. Since sanctions began being placed on Iran in 1979, with more added since, Iran still had enough free reign to develop its capabilities despite the sanctions regime because of this cabal. All the moving parts are in place, the material is there, and this means they are already nuclear – “break out” is imminent now.

During this period, North Korea had evaded sanctions, and like Iran, lied, cheated, and broke virtually every agreement it ever signed with the United Nations. Now North Korea is a nuclear weapons power, and we believe Iran has already done the same. Each had created hidden facilities but only North Korea has actually tested weapons fully. Because Iran has to date only detonated trigger devices that does not mean the Mullahs do not have weapons capability now because they certainly have enough material.

Both Iran and North Korea are also fast approaching inter-continental missile capability, and Iranian government observers, research scientists, and senior military officials have been on-site in North Korea for the testing of its systems. In essence, Iran has had the benefit of having North Korea essentially do their development and testing for them.

Iran has tested their launch systems like the Shahab series of launch and delivery vehicles and the attendant guidance and control systems, and they certainly had fine mentors along the way. The cabal has assisted Iran along all the pathways for acquisition of a nuclear weapon; from system requirements, specifications, prototyping, development, and acquisition. Iran has NEVER had to go it alone.

China and North Korea during this same timeframe developed their nuclear programs, maturing same to include land-based and sea-launch weapons systems, testing their entire launch, delivery and detonation process through actual nuclear detonations.
- Iranian Government observers, research scientists, and senior Military officials have been on-site in North Korea for all their tests of nuclear component systems. In essence, Iran has had the benefit of having North Korea essentially do their development and testing for them.
- Iran was able to test their launch systems (i.e., the Shahab series of launch and delivery vehicles and the attendant guidance and control systems). Russia, China and North Korea always had the latitude and time to develop and test warhead design, fissionable material and detonation testing. Iran participated onsite in most all of the scheduled testing.
- The coalition of Russia, China and North Korea have assisted Iran along all the pathways for acquisition of a nuclear weapon, from system requirements, specifications, prototyping, development, and acquisition. Iran has NEVER had to go it alone. The coalition support them 100%.

It is now clear that since 2009, the nObama administration has crafted a plan that guarantees Iran will have a nuclear weapon, and the devil is in the details. For instance; the copy of the agreement handed out in English for the American delegation did not fully replicate the copy handed out in Farsi for the Iranians. The American delegation never mentioned this to the West and especially not to the American people nor Congress. The Iranian delegation read both the English and Farsi-worded agreements, and declared that while they agreed with the one in Farsi, the one in English WAS NOT THE SAME, AND WAS IN NO WAY ACCEPTABLE TO THEM.

In addition, there are more devils in the details, and these are in the side agreements between Iran and the IAEA. We now know that one of those arrangements calls for Iran to actually be its own inspecting body. The fox gets to be the hen house security team. With nObama’s statement to Russian President Dimitri Medvedev in 2012, incoming President Vladimir Putin knew he had the green light on a host of issues with the now famous “live mike” incident.
