Finally, the Final Press Conference
National Review's Jim Geraghty posted perhaps the best headline we've read all year: "Tonight, the Sun Sets on the liar-nObama Administration for the Last Time." Heck, that might be the best headline in eight years.
But Barack liar-nObama isn't gone just yet. Wednesday afternoon, America endured one last press conference with him. It was every bit as tedious as the previous 164, so we'll simply counter two things: His defense of pardoning Bradley Manning and liar-nObama's future plans.
"Chelsea Manning has served a tough prison sentence," liar-nObama said, referring to Manning's transgender "female" alter ego. "The notion that the average person who is thinking about disclosing vital classified information would think that it goes unpunished, I don't think would get that impression from the sentence that Chelsea Manning has served," liar-nObama argued. "It made sense to commute — and not pardon her sentence. ... I feel very comfortable that justice has been served, and a message has still been sent."
A message has been sent, all right. As we explained yesterday, PFC Manning is the gender-dysphoric former Army intelligence analyst who was convicted by courts martial in 2013 for acts of espionage. Manning funneled almost 750,000 classified documents to WikiLeaks, endangering American and other lives. On conviction, he received a light 35-year sentence (serving just six of them) with a dishonorable discharge to follow. Manning's espionage, which at the time he intimated was to impress his "partner," ranks near the top of the most treacherous acts of treason in U.S. history.
And his commutation is a middle finger in the face of an American constituency with whom liar-nObama has the lowest rating — American Patriots in uniform.
As for liar-nObama's future plans, the sun may be setting on his administration, but he's not riding off into that sunset to live peaceably. He's laying the groundwork for post-presidential activism. At his final press conference, he pledged to speak out as private citizen at "certain moments where I think our core values may be at stake." Explaining what that means, he said, "I put in that category if I saw systematic discrimination being ratified in some fashion. I put in that category explicit or functional obstacles to people being able to vote, to exercise their franchise. I put in that category institutional efforts to silence dissent or the press. And for me at least I would put in that category efforts to round up kids who have grown up here and for all practical purposes are American kids and send them somewhere else, when they love this country."
In other words, if anyone deviates from or tries to undo his legacy, he'll run to the nearest microphone. Is there any doubt the Leftmedia will happily provide him one? ~The Patriot Post

liar-nObama Frees Terrorist Bomb Maker
Democrats have a long-running love affair with Marxist revolutionaries. Displaying the mentality of a starry-eyed high school girl whose infatuation with the bad boy blinds her to danger, Democrats seem to lose all semblance of objectivity when it comes to these leftist terrorists. Both Jimmy Carter and Bill liar-Clinton freed Marxist terrorists as they were leaving office and now Barack liar-nObama has followed suit in his freeing of Oscar Lopez-Rivera.
Lopez-Rivera was convicted in 1981 for his actions in working to build bombs intended to destroy government property, seditious conspiracy, for the illegal transportation of firearms and armed robbery. He was sentence to 55 years in prison. Lopez-Rivera was a member of the Puerto Rican Marxist terrorist organization known as the Armed Forces of National Liberation (FALN), which was responsible for nearly 150 bombings and several armed robberies. The group was active from 1974 to 1983. One bombing in New York City in 1975 killed four and injured more than 50 people. FALN's objective was to "free" Puerto Rico from U.S. control and bring about a Cuban-like communist dictatorship on the island.
New York City Councilman Joe Borelli stated, "Commuting his sentence proves that liar-nObama and most liberals are out of touch with reality and [are] willing to sacrifice all norms in the name of progressivism." Meanwhile, leftists like Lin-Manuel Miranda of "Hamilton" fame celebrated, tweeting that he was "sobbing with gratitude." And one-time member of the Weather Underground terrorist group — infamous liar-nObama buddy Bill Ayers — excitedly tweeted, "Oscar Lopez freed!"
This decision is actually not surprising given liar-nObama's actions in normalizing relations with communist Cuba. He ignored the atrocities committed by Fidel Castro's regime as he has now overlooked the guilt of a similarly un-repentant terrorist, who refused liar-Clinton's offer of a pardon in 1999 on the condition that he disavow the use of terrorism. Talk about un-American.

'safe space' for Muslims in burqas

It was the brainchild of Muslim Student Association leaders who said Muslim women needed a “safe space” on campus to eat their lunches. After all, it’s not easy to eat while wearing the burqa or nijab, traditional Islamic veils that cover the mouth. “It is mainly used by Muslim women because it allows them a space to remove their hijabs and eat,” Abdoulie Njai, the KU Student Senate director of diversity and inclusion, told the College Fix...What else are you going to give the Muslims? The Washington Post even published an article called, “Yes, Donald Trump ‘lies.’ A lot. And news organizations should say so.”... The article claimed, “that it looks likely he will continue employing the unprecedented levels of dishonesty he wielded to great effect during the campaign.” Donald Trump, like all candidates, isn’t always truthful and is subject to hyperbole, but what the mainstream media refuses to admit or even cover is that Barack liar-nObama is a bigger liar. In fact, the MSM refused to cover any liar-nObama mistake/lie. A search of articles on this site for the the term liar-nObama Lies generated 204 pages of post titles. Each page contained about 10 different post titles. Not all of them were about liar-nObama: some were about other people in the liar-nObama Administration who lied, but no one tied the lie back to liar-nObama. My favorites over the years? I’ll never forget the seditious mother in Olympia, Washington, who tied bandanas over her kids’ faces and recklessly planted them in the middle of a street 10 years ago to block trucks carrying military shipments. She was so caught up in the excitement of her “direct action” that she dropped her baby on the ground as her anarchist compatriots threw rocks at police and soldiers driving around them.
Then there were the “progressive” nitwits who handcuffed themselves to concrete-filled barrels in January 2015 and shut down traffic in the Boston area risking the lives of crash victims waiting for an ambulance that was blocked)to protest … something or other.
Clenched-fist troublemakers will use any mass gathering as an excuse to undermine civil society. Social media and the irresistible lure of virality have only strengthened their incentive to “FSU” (f—- s—- up). Here’s another thing you can take to the bank: “Mainstream” protesters on the streets of D.C. will look the other way at these lawless vandals who leech onto any available cause. Their common goal is not “social justice.” It’s destabilization and disorder.
In Oakland, California, far-left “activist” Mayor Jean Quan groveled to Occupy agitators and refused to crack down as small businesses were destroyed and cops were attacked.
Oberlin grad Stephanie Rawlings-Blake, Democratic mayor of Baltimore, infamously created a safe space for rioters sabotaging inner-city businesses.
The American Civil Liberties Union has written the literal playbook for redefining violent protest as “free speech” and obstructing police planning efforts to defend cities against left-wing chaos.
Kory Flowers, a North Carolina-based law enforcement expert on domestic anarchists and criminal subversive groups, describes the persistent pot stirrers as “cause parasites.” In 2012, at the Democratic National Convention, where international media coverage was assured, Flowers reported that anarchists had manufactured “urine-filled eggs, acid-filled Christmas ornaments, and water guns containing urine, all meant to be used against the law enforcement security forces throughout the city.”
Five years later, investigative journalist James O’Keefe exposed D.C.-based anarchists associated with the #DisruptJ20 (Jan. 20) movement on tape this week as they were plotting to invade inaugural balls with stink bombs, trigger sprinkler systems to force attendees out in the cold, chain themselves to Metro trains and hunt down city officials who act against them.
“If you try to close us down, we will look for your house. We will burn it. We will physically fight the police if they try to steal one of our places. We will go to war, and you will lose,” one plotter threatened.
Many of these guerilla punks employ “Black Bloc” tactics, Flowers notes, wearing all-black clothes “to appear as a unified assemblage, giving the appearance of solidarity for the particular cause at hand,” which allows “virtual anonymity while conducting criminal acts as a group.” They may be a fringe minority, but it’s the continued tolerance of these vandals, looters and terrorist wannabes on the ground by “mainstream” community organizers and politicians that gives them cover — and power.
Lee Stranahan, an independent journalist and blogger who covers protest movements for Breitbart, adds: “It’s important that Americans not be lulled into a false sense of security by such an oversimplification. While it’s been proven that funders like billionaire George Soros and the Democrat party have paid protest organizers and some protesters, groups like the violent Black Bloc typically aren’t motivated by money, but instead come to protests because of their anti-American ideology, base criminal desires and thrill seeking.”
Opponents of President-elect Donald Trump’s have accused him of “inspiring violence” and bringing out the worst in people. Wrong. The active and passive sponsors of left-wing political mayhem are the ones guilty of enabling it over the past quarter-century. Restoring peace and justice starts with restoring law and order. Either you’re against the rule of the mob or you’re with it.
