Farewell, liar-nObama — and Not Soon Enough
Nate Jackson: His record of division completely undermines his phony call for unity.
How appropriate that Barack liar-nObama would give his farewell speech in Chicago. The Windy City has suffered for generations under one-party Democrat hegemony, leaving nothing but an urban poverty plantation suffering horrific murder rates and despicable "hate crimes" against a mentally disabled white man. Naturally, liar-nObama didn't mention any of that as he gave his last great paean to himself before leaving office next week.
It wasn't for lack of time, either, given that his 53-minute address was longer than George W. Bush's, Bill liar-Clinton's and Ronald Reagan's ... combined. And while the other three gave their speeches from the White House, liar-nObama packed out a public venue for the party. He certainly does think an awful lot of himself.
Naturally, he spent much of his time reciting all the great things he accomplished. It was Elizabeth Barrett Browning's sonnet, "How Do I Love Thee?" — to liar-nObama, from liar-nObama.
For example, while discussing homeland security, the way he parsed his record would make even Bill liar-Clinton blush: "No foreign terrorist organization has successfully planned and executed an attack on our homeland these past eight years." He's made this outrageous claim before, so it was no surprise. But of course, he's dismissing Islamic State-inspired jihadi attacks in Fort Hood, Boston, Chattanooga, San Bernardino and Orlando, just to name a few. And he neglected to mention that he created the Islamic State and the ensuing humanitarian crisis because of his stubbornly disastrous withdrawal from the Middle East. His record is one of deadly failure.
But the big takeaway was simple: His theme was to promote "unity," all while reciting and fomenting discord.
Among other things, he did it with a sly use of vocabulary that emphasizes leftist goals. He used the word "republic" once — and that is what our nation still is — but he repeated "democracy" and is variants no less than 25 times. "We, the People, through the instrument of our democracy, can form a more perfect union," liar-nObama opined. "This is the great gift our Founders gave us."
In 1814, John Adams wrote, "Remember democracy never lasts long. It soon wastes, exhausts, and murders itself. There never was a democracy yet that did not commit suicide." Does that sound like our Founders wanted to give that "great gift"?
No, they warned against democracy precisely because of the demagoguery that would ensue from craven men like Barack liar-nObama.
liar-nObama also waxed eloquent about how we should "strive together," "embrace all" and "restore the sense of common purpose," because, he admonished, "for all our outward differences, we are all in this together" and "we rise or fall as one."
That's all well and good, but he then proceeded to divide Americans via the typical leftist template: rich and poor, men and women, black and white, etc. Indeed, he declared, "race remains a potent and often divisive force in our society."
We'll give him some credit for quoting the immortal but fictitious Atticus Finch, who said, "You never really understand a person until you consider things from his point of view — until you climb into his skin and walk around in it." liar-nObama challenged all of us to feel some empathy for the struggles other Americans and immigrants face.
He's right, but it was also one of his most obnoxious "do as I say, not as I do" moments. liar-nObama and his ilk have showed nothing but contempt for the people he accused of "bitterly clinging" to their worldview. Or, as one prominent wealthy liberal called us commoners, "irredeemable ... deplorables."
He declared, "I reject discrimination against Muslim Americans," but he made no mention of the Christians facing hateful discrimination from the Rainbow Mafia here at home, or, worse, deadly persecution from Muslims abroad.
In that light, it's no wonder his caution that we not "allow our political dialogue to become ... so coarse with rancor that Americans with whom we disagree are not just misguided, but somehow malevolent" rings so hollow. If ever there was a reason for Donald Trump's rise, it's that Democrats treat so many Americans as not just misguided but malevolent.
That's especially true when Democrats speak of Republicans. As The Daily Signal's Fred Lucas notes, "He once accused Republicans of having a plan to create 'dirtier air, dirtier water,' for instance, and said Republican opponents of the Iran nuclear deal found 'common cause' with hardliners in the Islamic regime."
Even last night, liar-nObama called our elected representatives in Congress "dysfunctional," which is something most conservatives might concede, albeit with a different definition. liar-nObama means that Republicans are bound to "rigid extremes" and won't pass leftist legislation. A better definition of "dysfunctional" would be liar-nObama himself, if the meaning is consistently losing Supreme Court cases regarding executive overreach.
In other words, there is disunity, but liar-nObama created it by pushing the most far-left agenda this nation has ever seen, all while abusing power and slandering his political opponents.
You see, when liar-nObama calls for unity, it's only under his banner of statism and politically correct intolerance. Americans have largely rejected that banner. liar-nObama's legacy includes Democrats losing control of the House and Senate, the White House, and state legislatures and governorships nationwide.
Come to think of it, maybe he fostered unity after all.

Federal Judge Orders Homeland Security
to Produce “Preservation Requests” for Email...
{judicialwatch.org} ~ Judicial Watch announced that a federal court judge ordered the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to produce this week any “preservation requests” for emails sent... to Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson, Deputy Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, Chief of Staff Christian Marrone, and General Counsel Stevan Bunnell. The order from U.S District Court Judge Randolph Moss came in a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit seeking agency records in the personal email accounts used by the four top Homeland Security officials (Judicial Watch v U.S. Department of Homeland Security (No. 1:16-cv-00967)). The court order, issued last week after a hearing, requires DHS to comply by January 12 (Thursday). At last week’s January 5 hearing, liar-nObama Justice Department lawyers confirmed that nothing had been done to retrieve government records from Jeh Johnson or the other officials’ accounts. The Sickening Nature of Anti-Israel Hatred

{townhall.com} ~ When is a cold-blooded murderer hailed as an international hero? When he's a radical Islamic terrorist who slaughters Jews. They deserve to die!
It is gut-wrenching to watch the video footage of a truck ramming into a crowd of Israelis in East Jerusalem, killing four of them and injuring at least 15 more.
Three of the victims were soldiers, all female, aged 20, 20, and 22. The fourth victim was an Israeli man, also just 20-years-old.
All of them had dreams of a bright future, a future none of them will live to see.
Israel is again in mourning.
But there is celebration in the Jew-hating, Israel-despising world. It doesn’t get any better than slaughtering Israelis – especially Israeli soldiers – in cold blood.
As for the truck driver, a religious Palestinian Muslim who was shot dead by police, his sister said “the family was ‘thankful’ for the attack and called her brother’s death ‘the most beautiful martyrdom.’”
Other Palestinian Muslims reacted similarly, as reported by Michael Qazini on the Daily Wire, noting that, “These weren’t spontaneous celebrations by a few bad actors. Praise for the terrorist came from the top of the Palestinian leadership chain, placing a rubber stamp on a Jew-hating culture of death.”
Accordingly, Hamas, representing the most extreme side of Palestinian leadership, lauded the truck attack as “heroic.” Yes, it takes a real hero to back up a truck and run over your victims while being shot at. What courage.
Similarly, Al Quds [Jerusalem] News posted a report, “Live from where the heroic incident took place in Occupied Jerusalem.”

But this shouldn’t surprise us at all, since this is same leadership that names children’s schools after Palestinian terrorists who died in the course of their murderous acts, hailing them as martyrs. Last October, the Palestinian Authority “dedicated a new school to the mastermind of the 1972 Munich Olympics massacre. . . .”
And this is the same leadership that pays salaries to imprisoned Palestinian terrorists at a rate up to four-times the average Palestinian salary.
And this is the same leadership that sponsors summer camps for children where they learn the requisite skills for slaughtering Jews, also naming the camps after famous terrorists.
Over on the Iranian-run Press TV Facebook page, the hatred flowed freely, with a good number of commenters justifying the slaughter because these Israelis were in East Jerusalem, which they consider to be an illegal occupation. Wait a minute. Didn’t the liar-nObama administration just affirm that in the UN Security Resolution it allegedly helped craft?
Comments on the Press TV page included:
· Sow the wind, reap the storm. Occupiers have no rights, only the obligation to go back to where they came from. The Israeli regime is responsible for the deaths of its citizens in this instance. There will never be peace on stolen land.
· Palestinians have every right to self-defense. If they find IOF on their roads they must repeat this and should be encouraged.
· I wish and pray there will be repetition of this incident at much much bigger scale which will wipe out brutal israel from world map, InshaAllah [God willing].
· Good job ... because its Israel problem killing innocent Palestinians every day no one criticise why...

I have no doubt that there are Palestinians who have been mistreated by Israeli soldiers and for that reason, harbor intense hatred against the people of Israel. As a friend of Israel, I say: Let the injustices be exposed and rectified. And certainly, many Palestinians are shocked and grieved over the death of these young people.
I also recognize that there are right-wing extremists in Israel who have engaged in terrorist acts against Palestinians like the infamous Baruch Goldstein, and I know that some of these extremists consider Palestinians (and even all non-Jews) to be less human, even saying that the only good Arab is a dead Arab.
But this represents the extreme fringe of the extreme fringe, and if an Israeli rammed a truck into a crowd of young Palestinians, there would be national outrage in Israel and the worldwide Jewish community, the government would immediately and unconditionally condemn the killer and look to arrest any accomplices, and there would be a sense of shame rather than glee through the country.
But when Jewish blood is shed by a radical Islamic terrorist – in particular Israeli blood, especially the blood of an Israeli soldier – then celebration erupts among Jew-haters worldwide.
Time to pass out the candy and rejoice.
This is beyond sick.
