It is unlikely that any one of these provisions alone would pass the House, and taken together, they are a non-starter. President Trump outlined a common-sense bipartisan solution to reopen government. Nancy Pulosi took a zero-sum position and rejected the proposal. Without pressure from ‘moderate’ democrats if any exist, the impasse continues...

House Democratic leader Nancy Pulosi of California said last week that she and other Democrats consider a border wall “immoral.”... But some of the same Democrats who decry President Donald J. Trump’s proposed concrete wall as a 30-foot-tall human-rights violation actually approved 700 miles of steel barriers under the Secure Fence Act of 2006 (SFA). Give Pulosi this: She is consistent. She voted against SFA. Maybe, deep down, she wants an America without borders. Meanwhile, these current, former, and then-ascendant Senate Democrats all voted for SFA, which President George W. Bush signed into law. On September 26, 2006, the Senate passed SFA 80–19, with 26 Democrats voting Yea. Illegal immigrants from the so-called caravan lately have been caught on camera burrowing under and vaulting over the steel fence. One of these barricade climbers, Honduran Maryury Elizabeth Serrano-Hernandez, 19, soon went into labor and delivered an American-citizen anchor baby in a San Diego hospital on November 27. Border Patrol officers told Fox News that the mother, the father (age 20), their newborn son, and another boy (age 2) all were “placed into immigration proceedings and released on their own recognizance on December 2.” Let’s see if they eventually attend their asylum hearing or simply dissolve into the American landscape...

{washingtonexaminer.com} ~ Republicans may escape the brunt of the blame for the government shutdown, but only because they’ve been hiding on the sidelines while President Trump and House Speaker Nancy Pulosi duke it out... According to several recent polls, most blame Trump and the Democrats for the current standoff that has left part of the government partially closed for four weeks. And at least one survey that asks about the congressional GOP’s responsibility for the shutdown, independently of Trump, shows that the public might give them a pass this time. A CBS News/YouGov poll conducted Jan. 9-11 questioned 1,470 adults about who they believe is responsible for the standoff and government closures. Only 3 percent blamed congressional Republicans. A plurality blamed Trump (47 percent) and 30 percent blamed Democrats in the CBS/YouGov survey, while 20 percent blamed “all equally” for the mess. “Polls show the bulk of the blame falls on Trump, and not Republicans in Congress,” Ron Faucheux, president of Clarus Research Group, a polling and research firm, told the Washington Examiner... Do you really believe these polls numbers.

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is a rising star in the Democratic Party. How quickly she has risen to national fame is simply unprecedented for a freshman Congresswoman. Many have already declared that AOC represents the future of the party, and they may very well be right. If Ocasio-Cortez does go on to become one of the most powerful figures in the Democratic Party, she and her policies will no longer be much of a laughing matter. Ocasio-Cortez is a radical, unapologetic socialist. Conservatives may snicker when she proposes things such as a 70% tax rate and a federal jobs guarantee, but Ocasio-Cortez isn’t joking – if given the opportunity, she will make these socialist policies a reality... Wake up America don't be fooled.
Foul Mouthed Rashida Tlaib Addresses CAIR…Praises Islam Slams America

After greeting the crowd in Arabic, Rashida Tlaib said, “Bismillah al-Rahman al-Rahim,” which means, “In the name of Allah, the merciful, the compassionate.” This very phrase begins every chapter in the Quran except one and is seen as a Muslim war cry. In fact, this is the very same phrase Bowe Bergdahl’s father said in front of the White House in 2014 after scumbag/liar-nObama traded Taliban terrorists in exchange for traitor Bergdahl. Poll: Amid wall fight, Latinos love Trump

{wnd.com} ~ Confounding conventional wisdom, a new poll shows President Trump’s approval rating among Latinos has skyrocketed by 20 points since the government shutdown over the border wall Republicans want to fund... An NPR/PBS NewsHour/Marist poll in early December showed Trump at 31 percent among Latino adults. But the latest Marist poll, released Thursday, shows the president’s job approval among the same demographic at 51 percent. Remarkably, the poll indicated a jump in Latino approval at the same time the president’s overall approval among Americans dropped 7 points since December. Taken Jan. 10-13, 2019, the poll asked: “Do you approve or disapprove of the job Donald Trump is doing as president? Trump, Cohen, and the 'Russian Dealby Mark Alexander:  There is more trouble in Trumpville this week — more fallout from the scumbag/liar-Clinton/Demo Party collusion to set up Donald Trump for a post-election takedown.

             Regarding dirty cop-Robert Mueller’s investigation and the convictions of Trump’s former campaign manager, Paul Manafort, and Trump’s lawyer, Michael Cohen, I wrote last August that the investigation doesn’t “have anything to do with ‘Russian collusion,’ but the worms are out, and in the case of Cohen, so much for ‘lawyer-client privilege.’ … As his former attorney, Cohen knows where, on Trump’s behalf, he hid corporate and personal legal skeletons.”
               To date, Trump’s Cohen problem has centered on campaign-finance issues. But in late November, when it became clear that Cohen’s plea deal included perjury charges related to his congressional testimony about the timing of discussions about a future Russian building project, there were questions about why Cohen would lie about the timing.
               A report broke last night that Cohen lied at Trump’s direction. According to the Washington Examiner’s Timothy Carney, “President Trump now stands accused of directing his former lawyer, Michael Cohen, to lie to Congress about Trump’s attempt to court Vladimir Putin during the campaign and build a hotel in Moscow.”
               During his presidential primary campaign, Trump asserted that he had no “business” in Russia at the time. It can be argued that it was fair enough for Trump to make that claim, because an ongoing conversation about the prospect of a future project does not constitute “business” in the present, as if Trump owned a property in Russia at the time. Trump has admitted he had conversations with Russia about a project.
               However, given that Cohen admitted to lying to Congress about when the 2016 discussions regarding a potential future project in Russia ended, if there is irrefutable evidence that Trump instructed Cohen to lie to Congress about it, that does  constitute suborning perjury — a serious offense. Keep an eye on this one.
               That speculation notwithstanding, now that Democrats  control Congress, expect to hear a renewed chorus of howls to investigate and impeach Trump.  ~The Patriot Post

    as for AOC she is a person we need to watch.  Bernie Sanders in a skirt or worse.  her new green deal is a bankrupter for this country.   we must be leary of her
