Fake News Media Choose Prince Over Rice
As we noted yesterday, former National Security Advisor Susan Rice was the person responsible for "unmasking" the identities of individuals connected to Donald Trump's campaign caught up in intelligence surveillance. This bombshell should have turned the mainstream media's attention back to questions of domestic political meddling by Barack liar-nObama and his henchmen. Instead, the MSM brushed it aside as insignificant and instead sought to double down on its narrative of a Trump-Russian collusion scandal.
The Washington Post and New York Times are leading the rest of the Leftmedia on the distraction campaign. Trumpeting a secret meeting between Blackwater founder and Trump supporter Erik Prince and a Russian with Kremlin ties in the United Arab Emirates, the Post and Times want to redirect Americans' attention away from the growing genuine scandal of Rice's political machinations.
The Post headlines covering the two stories display its profound degree of political bias and flat out hypocrisy. First, the paper attacks conservatives for suggesting that the Rice unmasking is a scandal. The headlines read, "Anatomy of a fake scandal, ginned up by right-wing media and Trump," and "Susan Rice isn't a 'smoking gun,' but she does have some explaining to do." Pivoting attention, the Post ran the following headline: "Blackwater founder held secret Seychelles meeting to establish Trump-Putin back channel." This blatant double standard would be comical if it wasn't so serious.
The New York Times follows a similar pattern with its headlines: "Trump Tries to Deflect Russia Scrutiny, Citing 'Crooked Scheme' by liar-nObama" was followed by its own attempt to "gin up" a scandal via "Trump Campaign Adviser Met With Russian Intel Operative."
And then there was CNN, which seems bent on overtaking MSNBC as the leading cable news network of the unhinged Left, trotting out a slew of its top analysts who successively poured cold water on the Rice scandal.
The fact of the matter is, the mainstream media is faced with a dilemma. One the one hand its favorite narrative of a Trump-Russia collusion conspiracy has turned up nothing but unsubstantiated innuendoes, while there is mounting evidence of what may prove to be a significant and legitimate scandal — liar-nObama's right hand woman using intelligence for political gain. So much for the "scandal free" liar-nObama administration. As usual, the Leftmedia are leading the liar-nObama Fanboy Club rather than honestly following the evidence.

Ted Cruz Syria Is A Mess – No Good Answer

It’s a difficult stretch to argue that a gas attack on his own civilians by Bashar al-Assad, if he in fact is responsible, posed an exigent threat to the national security of the United States. There’s no category labeled ‘had to teach the ruthless bully a lesson’ so it’s what they’re going with. Cruz says, “Syria is a humanitarian disaster, it is a total mess and the honest answer is there’s no good answer to Syria right now. After eight years of liar-nObama broken red lines and weakness, we’ve seen Syria turned into a war zone that has resulted in hundreds of thousands of refugees, of chemical weapons. It is a bad situation.” “That being said,” continues Cruz, “the authority to declare war under the Constitution is given to Congress. He is thankful to President Trump for what he did, and he has no doubt that the gas attack was conducted by Assad. After expressing his gratitude for the intervention, Eid points out that Assad is still in power, reminding the audience that he killed half a million people and displaced twelve million more. Thousands were tortured and thousands of women were raped. “He helped create ISIS with his atrocities,” said Eid. “He drove people to desperation, to join extremist groups when they didn’t find justice and they went after revenge, he displaced millions of people.” Eid went on to dismiss the common myth that is being forced upon the people of the United States and Europe in the effort to create world government, the proposition that they want to come to America or European nations. Eid disputes that assertion, saying, “We ask for safe zones in Syria. I was talking to my friends inside of Syria. Everybody kept telling me, ‘Please, if you’re going to talk again, please, for the love of God, tell them we need safe zones.'”...

Not only does Gowdy uphold the rights of the citizens as dictated by the Constitution, but he delivers knockout punches to anyone unlucky enough to be in the hot seat at the time of questioning. No one does it as well as him, and we’re all the more happy for it. When liar-nObama and liar-Hillary took on the cause of restricting the rights of people due to a “no-fly”list, a few things stood out. Sure, no one wants terrorists getting guns, but a government-run watch list, as dictated by liberals, would have no legal or practical way to get off said list, which means that it was unconstitutional. In a hearing, Gowdy absolutely destroys an official being questioned about the illegal practice, and leaves her absolutely speechless...

{rickwells.us} ~ Tucker Carlson addresses the frenzied media who have taken a brief hiatus from their incessant pillorying of President Trump to lavish praise on him for following in the footsteps of George W. Bush in a thus far limited strike on Syria... It’s an act which could easily and literally blow up on us, forcing more refugees to flee, which could be the underlying reason the left is supportive. Their invasion of the US would be “forced to be sped up,” in order to deal with the escalating “humanitarian crisis” that the military action could be claimed to have produced. While it would be more effective, cheaper and preferable to the Syrians to provide safe zones in their country, that type of thing doesn’t serve the greater purpose of cultural dilution of the United States and their global government ambitions, importation will get the nod and it will come from virtually everybody in power. That doesn’t mean those left holding the shovel won’t temporarily profit. Judas got his 30 pieces of silver and Barack liar-nObama got his second term, thanks to those in his administration like Susan Rice who buried truth and misled the American people.
The barbaric chemical weapon attack on innocent children, women and men that took place in Syria April 4 seemingly contradicts what former National Security Advisor Susan Rice said a couple months ago. During an NPR interview on January 16, Ms. Rice claimed the liar-nObama administration was “able to find a solution that didn’t necessitate the use of force that actually removed the chemical weapons that were known from Syria…” She said they accomplished this “by virtue of the diplomacy that we did with Russia…” yes, Russia! “We were able to get the Syrian government to voluntarily and verifiably give up its chemical weapons stockpile.”
Pitifully, the truth about chemical weapons came out by way of those succumbing to the horrific effects of the sarin gas attack. Might the liar-nObama administration’s so-called “diplomacy” really be collusion with Russia to keep Assad in power to secure the Iran “deal”?
Years back, Rice seemed to grab rationalizations from thin air to explain away the attacks in Benghazi, Libya. Rice stood by the ludicrous claim that Benghazi burned and people died because of a video until truth rose from the ashes like a phoenix to show the catalyst was really a terrorist attack, inconveniently contradicting Barack liar-nObama’s 2012 reelection campaign rhetoric suggesting al Qaeda was of little threat and on the run.
A Freedom of Information Act lawsuit by Judicial Watch suggests the Benghazi lies came from the top. Six weeks before the 2012 election, Ben Rhodes, an assistant to the president and deputy national security advisor for strategic communications instructed recipients to communicate: “…the protests are rooted in an Internet video, and not a broad failure of policy” and “to reinforce the president and administration’s strength and steadiness in dealing with difficult challenges.”
Most recently, Rice is in the news for her alleged ties to the unmasked identities of Trump campaign associates incidentally swept up in surveillance of foreign targets. On March 22, 2017, Rice said on PBS she knew nothing about surveillance of Trump officials, apparently assuming nothing would come from the freshly turned dirt Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes uncovered. Not long after, the truth surfaced that Rice not only knew about it, the Daily Caller reports Rice submitted the requests for unmasking.
Called out on it, Rice claimed the request to unmask several Trump campaign and transition officials wasn’t politically motivated. Fred Fleitz, a former CIA analyst, says it’s “hard to fathom” how it wasn’t politically motivated. In a Fox News op-ed, Fleitz wrote, “Rice’s denials don’t add up.”
For those living in Mythomania, facts don’t need to add up because truth is a moving target. They’ll tell you two plus two equals five if it gets them closer to their goal.
Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) believes Rice committed a crime and should be forced to testify under oath. Even if she does testify, she’ll probably plead the fifth as did so many liar-nObama administration officials.
For the rest of us, it’s important to remember there is such a thing as absolute truth and it is not relative to mood or circumstance or public perception or personal preference or political party. Therefore, we haven’t the luxury of customizing it to our liking, despite how much something is accepted by society. Wrong will never become right and lies will never become truth.
In short, truth is truth.
If we believe otherwise, we may get what we want temporarily -- like liar-nObama got his second term -- but we’ll lose ourselves along the way, as we slide down that slippery slope toward Mythomania.
