 BATTLEGROUND POLL SHOWS TROUBLE FOR HILLY ON VETS,  ILLEGALS   Hilly Clinton’s recent stumbles on addressing the scandal at the VA and a new liberal line on illegal immigration didn’t sound very good to swing-state voters, according to a new poll.
          A new battleground survey, conducted for the pro-GOP group American Crossroads by pollsters Vox Populi, found that 59 percent of voters in seven battleground states said they were less likely to support Clinton in light of her comment that problems at the Veterans Administration were not as “widespread” as Republicans suggested.
          And she doesn’t need any more headaches with the voters in Colorado, Florida, Iowa, Nevada, Ohio, and Virginia.
          Clinton’s deficit to a generic Republican nominee stands basically unchanged at 12 points and her net favorability remained low at negative 22 points. On the question of whether those polled felt Clinton would say or do anything to get elected, 61 percent agreed at least to some degree.
          Another danger zone for Clinton in the poll: Her support for allowing illegal immigrants to get insurance benefits under nObamaCare and a promised expansion of nObama’s executive amnesty program. Fully 50 percent said they would be much less likely to back Clinton because of her policies.  -Fox News

 NY Times whitewashes the Palestinian child death cult  

{Ari Lieberman} ~ On October 12, two Arabs cousins, one 17 (some sources say 15) and the other 13 set out on a mission to hunt and kill Jews... Armed with knives, the felonious duo traveled to Pisgat Zeev, a quiet Jewish community in northern Jerusalem to carry out their act of savagery. Their first target was a 25 year old man who sustained serious injuries but nonetheless managed to escape his attackers. Their second target was a 13-year old boy on his bicycle who had just exited a candy shop. They stabbed him in the neck and kicked him in the head while he was on the ground before being chased off by bystanders. The boy was brought to the hospital in critical condition, hovering between life and death but miraculously recovered from his dreadful injuries. The stabbing spree finally came to an end when police officers shot and killed the older knife-wielding assailant while the younger felon, Ahmed Manasra, was run over by a car driven by a civilian. He adds that many of the faculty and students at the university are embarrassed by what is going on, including many black students, as they should be. They’re being lumped together with ignorant thugs who have now become the face of Missouri racism. It’s a job well done for the gutless liberal faculty, their racist and gullible football players and coaches and those agitators leading the dissent. {Hollie McKay} ~ The estimated 27 victims of so-called "honor killings" each year in the U.S. don't fit neatly into the FBI's exhaustive Uniform Crime Reporting Statistics... Hidden among thousands of nondescript murders and cases labeled as domestic violence are a mounting number of killings motivated by a radical and dark interpretation of Islam. Honor killings and violence, which typically see men victimize wives and daughters because of behavior that has somehow insulted their faith, are among the most secretive crimes in society, say experts. "Cases of honor killings and/or violence in the U.S. are often unreported because of the shame it can cause to the victim and the victim's family," Farhana Qazi, a former U.S. government analyst and senior fellow at the Center for Advanced Studies on Terrorism, told FoxNews.com.  Terror in Little Saigon: An Objection and a Response  

{propublica.org} ~ Frontline’s film, “Terror in Little Saigon,” and the accompanying ProPublica article, revisited a painful chapter in the Vietnamese-American experience... Since publication, we have heard from many viewers and readers who expressed deep gratitude for our reporting on the murders of five Vietnamese-American journalists and a broader pattern of violence within the refugee communities that grew up in America after the Vietnam War. The film and article showed that the FBI came to believe that an organization started by former South Vietnamese military officers, the National United Front for the Liberation of Vietnam, was linked to the violence. Over the last week, we have also heard criticisms, in particular from a Vietnamese-American advocacy group called Viet Tan. Viet Tan, whose founders were leaders of the National United Front, has asserted that our reporting failed to prove the connection between the organization and the violence, and was, in certain respects, culturally insulting to Vietnamese Americans. Viet Tan maintains that the National United Front, known most commonly as the Front, was a group committed to fostering political change in Vietnam, and that it has been the target of rumors and false allegations for years.

 Muslim Student Assoc. REJECTS Recognition Resolution for 9/11

The Muslim Student Association insists that enacting the moment of recognition would create an islamophobic sentiment on campus. Got that? {Bassam Tawil} ~ Palestinian bloggers were amazed when Israelis protested the cruel slaughter of chickens in poultry-packing plants, and during epidemics. "If only we Arabs," they wrote, "who kill people cruelly and wholesale, cared as much about people as the Jews care about animals."... Civilian cameras often record events of startling cruelty carried out in Arab countries, in areas of conflict. We often hear Arabs privately saying, "The Zionists have never done to us what we do to ourselves." This is usually said by Syrians, who have hated the Jews for generations, when they give their thanks for the medical treatment they receive in Israel. Despite the hatred fostered by Hamas, after the most recent military operation, many Gazans admitted that the IDF did in fact warn civilians before attacking terrorist targets protected by "human shields." The pictures of an armed Israeli soldier who did not strike back when he was viciously attacked by Palestinian women and children in Nebi Saleh, amazed many regional bloggers. "If such a thing had happened to us," they wrote on Twitter accounts, "the soldier would have killed his attackers without hesitation."

 What we can do about Paris terrorist attacks  

{Jeff Dunetz} ~ Folks there is so much confusion about the horrific terrorist attacks in Paris to discus the details... What we do know is that in recent weeks ISIS has blown up a Russian civilian airplane killing all 224 people on board, a pair of suicide bombings struck southern Beirut Lebanon killing 43 people, and of course the seven coordinated Friday night terrorist attacks in Paris with a death toll at this writing of at least 140. In other words anyone who doubts that this nation, indeed the entire western world, is in the middle of a World War has a serious problem with reality. Enough of the political correctness, the animals who conducted these attacks follow a warped version of a religion that teaches values antithetical to normal faiths and decency. They practice   murder, hate, and mutilation all in the name of a warped version of God. This is the reality our leaders cannot comprehend.      On Monday, the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals told the immigration power-grabbers in the nObama administration to stuff it.

The amnesty sympathizers in the media mourned mightily.

     "Appeals court rules against nObama's plan to protect about 5 million people from deportation," the Associated Press spun.

.
     "Court again blocks nObama's plan to protect undocumented migrants," the left-wing U.K. Guardian decried.

.
     "President Barack nObama's executive action to shield millions of undocumented immigrants from deportation suffered a legal setback on Monday with an appeal to the Supreme Court now the administration's only option," Reuters reported.

Or rather, editorialized in the guise of reporting.

     By a 2-1 decision, the federal judges handed a landmark victory to 26 states, led by Texas, that forcefully challenged the legality of nObama's executive amnesty overreach. The 5th Circuit majority ruled that the states' case was "likely to succeed on its merits" and that a lower court's injunction against the White House was "impressive and thorough." Judge Jerry Smith summed up: "At its core, this case is about the (Department of Homeland Security) Secretary's decision to change the immigration classification of millions of illegal aliens on a class-wide basis."

     By a wave of his hand, President nObama and his DHS minions issued blanket deportation waivers and work authorization documents to 1.2 million young illegal immigrants (the "DREAMers") and 4.3 million parents of an even broader class of illegal immigrants. No congressional debate about the impact on American citizens and American workers. No public comment period as required by federal Administrative Procedures Act. No nothing.

     Current immigration law, the majority concluded, "flatly does not permit the reclassification of millions of illegal aliens as lawfully present and thereby make them newly eligible for a host of federal and state benefits, including work authorization."

Here's how the radical transformer-in-chief turned the law on its head:

     Under the Constitution, Congress defines the classes of immigrants eligible to work in the United States, and the executive branch has the broad authority to determine the individual immigrants within those classes who are authorized to work. nObama's Department of Homeland Security flipped this around and usurped the authority to allow any alien -- legally or illegally in the country -- to work unless Congress explicitly prohibits it.

     The nObama administration first encroached upon congressional authority over immigration with the so-called Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program, which allowed illegal immigrant children to remain in the United States.

.
     Next, nObama created the Deferred Action for Parents of Americans and Lawful Permanent Residents program, which granted illegal immigrant parents with children born in the United States the right to remain in the United States and work.

.
     After lower court judge Andrew Hanen issued his initial injunction this year, nObama bureaucrats defiantly violated it anyway and issued 2,000 more work permits to people here illegally. The 5th circuit ruling puts an exclamation point on Judge Hanen's order to stop the unlawful nObamnesty. Stop!

     But if you thought these brazen usurpations of power were bad, you ain't seen nothing yet.

     Both George W. Bush and Barack nObama sneakily expanded the foreign worker supply by administrative fiat another way: executive expansion of the Optional Practical Training program, through which 560,000 foreign "students" have been authorized to work in the U.S. It may well be America's largest de facto guest-worker program, yet it has never been authorized by Congress. This backdoor H-1B visa increase allows foreign students to work with little monitoring, no wage protections, no payment of Social Security payroll taxes and no requirement for employers to demonstrate labor market shortages.

     In addition, nObama this year unilaterally started allowing certain spouses of H-1B workers (H-4 visa holders) to work in the United States.

     The good news is that software engineer-turned-lawyer John Miano, the co-author of our new book, "Sold Out: How High-Tech Billionaires & Bipartisan Beltway Crapweasels Are Screwing America's Best & Brightest Workers," is challenging both schemes in court. Like the states that stopped executive expansion of illegal immigrant worker benefits, John and his clients aren't waiting for D.C. politicians to do the job of defending American sovereignty.

     John's groundbreaking federal lawsuit on behalf of WashTech (a labor union of professional tech workers) against President Bush's regulatory expansion of the OPT program is, as National Review's John O'Sullivan called it, "the first step of a long battle." In April 2015, John and the Immigration Reform Law Institute filed another federal lawsuit in D.C. challenging President nObama's arbitrary and capricious regulatory expansion of work authorizations for H-1B workers' spouses (classified as H-4 visa holders). The plaintiff, Save Jobs USA, is a group of former Southern California Edison employees who were forced to train their foreign guest-worker replacements before being laid off.

     "Under the Constitution, Congress is supposed to have control over immigration," John reminds our fellow citizens. At stake is a fundamental question for the republic:
