Media Editors:  On Friday, dirty cop-Robert Mueller officially closed the books on his nearly two-year-long investigation into allegations of complicity between  Donald Trump and Russia. According to Attorney General William Bar, “The Special Counsel issued more than 2,800 subpoenas, executed nearly 500 search warrants, obtained more than 230 orders for communication records, issued almost 50 orders authorizing use of pen registers, made 13 requests to foreign governments for evidence, and interviewed approximately 500 witnesses.” All that notwithstanding, Bar says dirty cop-Mueller “did not find that the Trump campaign, or anyone associated with it, conspired or coordinated with the Russian government in these efforts, despite multiple offers from Russian-affiliated individuals to assist the Trump campaign.”
.
Of course, “Unsatisfied with the four-page summary, the bevy of 2020 candidates demanded the report be made public, a sentiment backed by the House which voted 420-0 in favor of releasing dirty cop-Mueller’s report,” the Washington Examiner says. lowlife-Kamala Harris, in lockstep with others, fumed, “The dirty cop-Mueller report needs to be made public, the underlying investigative materials should be handed over to Congress, and Barr must testify. That is what transparency looks like. A short letter from Trump’s hand-picked Attorney General is not sufficient.” But as Guy Benson observes, “dirty cop-Mueller publicly & quickly corrected a piece of a Buzzfeed story that he thought was unfair/inaccurate. We’d … know if he thought Barr was distorting the central pillars of his conclusions.”

Speaking of foreign interference… “commie-Bernie Sanders was hit with a complaint [last] week, claiming his presidential campaign violated federal election laws by employing non-Americans in advisory positions. A new complaint by the Coolidge Reagan Foundation filed with the Federal Election Commission (FEC) notes that three members of the commie-Sanders campaign are foreign nationals, which appears to be a violation of federal election laws that prohibit foreign interference.” (Fox New)
.
According to Fox News, “A road rage suspect who investigators say shot and killed a Washington state sheriff’s deputy and wounded a police officer [last] week was in the U.S. illegally.” The man “entered the U.S. at Laredo, Texas, in April 2014 on a temporary agricultural worker visa,” and “ICE had no record of him leaving the United States or extending his visa after it expired.” Meanwhile, Reuters reveals, “A caravan of some 1,200 migrants from Central America and Cuba began moving towards the U.S. border from southern Mexico this weekend.” Whether it’s expired visas or flagrant unlawful entry, illegal immigration is a multifaceted threat.
.
Morris Dees isn’t the only noteworthy SPLC official departing. “The president of the Southern Poverty Law Center, Richard Cohen, announced his resignation Friday, the latest in a series of high-profile departures at the anti-hate organization that have come amid allegations of misconduct and workplace discrimination,” according to the Los Angeles Times. “Cohen told staff that he had asked the center’s board of directors in October to start searching for a new president, citing a need for a transition to a new generation of leadership. But ‘in light of recent events, I’ve asked the board to immediately launch a search for an interim president in order to give the organization the best chance to heal,’ Cohen wrote.”
.
On Friday, Trump remarked, “It was announced today by the U.S. Treasury that additional large scale Sanctions would be added to those already existing Sanctions on North Korea. I have today ordered the withdrawal of those additional Sanctions!” However, CBS News states, “It is unclear what sanctions Mr. Trump was referring to. … The Treasury Department had just announced new sanctions on two China-based shipping companies it says have aided North Korea in evading existing U.N. sanctions. A National Security Council official said later Friday that the sanctions Mr. Trump is pulling back are not the ones that were just imposed.”
.
Cracking down: “The Trump administration intensified pressure against socialist dictator Nicolás Maduro’s illegitimate regime with the addition of new sanctions on March 22 — this time targeting Venezuela’s National Development Bank, Bandes. It comes just a day after the administration warned there would be consequences for their arrest of a top aide of Juan Guaidó, the internationally recognized interim president. … On the same day, the Trump administration warned the regime over the detention of Americans that include six executives from Houston-based oil company Citgo Petroleum. The Americans have been jailed in Venezuela since 2017.” (The Epoch Times)
.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has divulged troubling new data regarding fentanyl. The period from 2011 to 2016 saw a 1,000% upswing in deaths stemming from fentanyl. As ABC News notes, “The number of fatalities … was relatively stable in 2011 and 2012, with roughly 1,600 deaths each of those years. The number began to increase in 2013, reaching just over 1,900 deaths. Then the death rate doubled each year, skyrocketing to 18,335 overdoses in 2016.” Consequently, fentanyl represents the U.S.‘s deadliest drug.

Nihilism is taking over American culture, the General  Social Survey suggests. According to Religion News Service, “Americans claiming 'no religion’ — sometimes referred to as ‘nones’ because of how they answer the question ‘what is your religious tradition?’ — now represent about 23.1 percent of the population, up from 21.6 percent in 2016. People claiming evangelicalism, by contrast, now represent 22.5 percent of Americans, a slight dip from 23.9 percent in 2016.” As The Resurgent’s Jess Fields notes, “Religious ‘nones’ are a big story precisely because most of them are younger, and this is sure to influence American culture in the decades to come. America is simply becoming less and less religious.”
.
We can already see how anti-Christian ideals are manifested elsewhere. The Washington Examiner’s Becket Adams surreally writes, “The government agency charged with overseeing immigration and passports in the United Kingdom has denied asylum to an Iranian Christian convert from Islam, explaining its verdict is based on its assessment that Christianity is not a ‘peaceful’ religion. … Leviticus, Exodus, Matthew, and … Revelation are ‘filled with imagery of revenge, destruction, death and violence,’ the Home Office explained in its rejection letter, adding Leviticus says specifically, ‘You will pursue your enemies, and they will fall by the sword before you.’” As a result of this Christian’s asylum being rejected, Iran may well put the “infidel” to death.

Policy: “Amid the shambolic fracas in the British government and Parliament over how and when Brexit should take place, it’s important to step back and remember the why.” Read the Washington Examiner’s latest editorial: “Brexit is, at bottom, about self-rule.”

Policy: “Simply stated, trade deficits are largely irrelevant,” says economist Daniel J. Mitchell. “And since trade balances don’t matter, then it makes no sense to fight trade wars. Especially when protectionist-minded politicians inflict lots of casualties on their own people.” Read his full explanation at the Foundation for Economic Education.

by libertyheadlines.com:  Special Counsel dirty cop-Robert Mueller‘s report on Moscow’s meddling in the 2016 election found no evidence of conspiracy by President Donald Trump’s campaign to collude with Russia... the Justice Department said Sunday. dirty cop-Mueller also declined to rule on whether evidence showed Trump obstructed justice, according to a summary submitted to Congress by Attorney General Bill Barr. In a letter to Congress summarizing the report’s key points, Barr quoted dirty cop-Mueller as saying: “While this report does not conclude that the president committed a crime, it also does not exonerate him.” Barr said the investigation did not recommend any further indictments and does not have any further sealed indictments outstanding. In his own review of dirty cop-Mueller’s findings on obstruction — one of the most explosive allegations against Trump — Barr said “the evidence… is not sufficient to establish that the president committed an obstruction-of-justice offense.” Republicans responded with an I-told-you-so posture and called attention again to potential Justice Department corruption in launching the investigation in the first place...

{independentsentinel.com} ~ Judge Jeanine Pirro spoke out on Facebook for the first time on Friday about her situation at Fox News... She was suspended after she asked her audience to consider if the anti-Semitic Rep. Ilhan Omar’s wearing of a hijab is a sign that she follows sharia law which is contraindicated by our Constitution. Personally, I would like to know the answer to that question also. Fox News “strongly condemned” her question. In a post at the top of her Facebook page Friday, she thanked her supporters and relayed her suspicions about why she lost her megaphone: “I’m overwhelmed by the support you’ve shown me! I tear up every time I try to read through your tens of thousands of lovely messages. For legal reasons, I can’t comment on what’s happening here, but I also can’t help but be suspicious about losing my megaphone just when the dirty cop-Mueller report is released. I pray to God I soon have a platform to discuss that report with the American people!” In a different post, she mentioned the boycott with a subtle message: “For legal reasons, I cannot speak about what’s going on right now. I’m told that viewers are boycotting Fox News to support me and, while I cannot officially endorse a boycott, I can say that I love my viewers.” One America News Network offered their support as did the President for which she was grateful. Bill O’Reilly said during his podcast that he spoke with her and she expected to be back after a two-week suspension, but these posts suggest otherwise. She is off the schedule this week. A handful of advertisers have expressed concerns about advertising on her show. CAIR, the radical terror-tied Islamic American lobbying group is demanding she be fired. If you criticize them or comment on them, you’re an Islamophobe. That’s how they silence people.

{americanthinker.com} ~ Having written extensively in these pages on the catastrophic flooding of the Missouri River basin in 2011... I believe that the occasion of this present flood disaster plaguing Nebraska, Iowa, and South Dakota has given rise to many questions. Foremost, I have been asked if there is an environmentalist element, as there was in 2011, when the Corps of Engineers intentionally permitted the flooding of eight states in order to further their highest priority as per the Master Water Control Manual of "habitat restoration for riverine wildlife" at the expense of the original top priority, flood control, and the preservation of human life and property. Green "deism" does play a role in our current woes, but not as directly as it did in 2011. More of a "Best supporting Actor," in this case. The Master Water Control Manual is the bible of the Missouri River basin dam  system.  It defines the duties and protocols to be followed in order to best meet the various needs represented in the list of priorities. From the completion of the dam construction in 1967 until 2004, the Master Water Control Manual listed the priority functions in order of importance, with flood control being number one. In 2004, under pressure from environmentalist organizations who had been lobbying hard for the previous decade, Congress approved a revision to the manual that no longer specifically prioritized the uses of the system, leaving the order of the functions to the discretion of the Corps of Engineers...
Pakistan: Mentally Disabled Christians
Charged with Blasphemy

{gatestoneinstitute.org} ~ "A mentally ill Pakistani Christian man has been charged with blasphemy," the Pakistan Christian Post reported a few days ago... Stephen Masih was arrested after Muhammad Rafiq and Muhammad Imran told Muhammad Mudassar -- a renowned  hafiz one who has memorized the entire Koran —that the Christian "had made derogatory remarks against the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH)." Masih, 38, is unmarried and lives with his mother and sister. After contracting typhoid fever as a child, and receiving little medical attention due to his family's impoverishment, the family noticed changes in his behavior; he was eventually taken to a "doctor who declared him mentally disabled." On March 10, Masih got into a loud quarrel with his mother and sister. A female Muslim neighbor got involved, at which point "Stephen started arguing with her as he was out of his senses." Verbal quarrels with other Muslim neighbors escalated, and before long "a few Muslim men... pulled Stephen out of his house and started beating him brutally, gradually joined by others." Police eventually arrived, only to arrest the mentally unstable Christian, on the testimony of a local cleric, Muhammad Mudassar. Afterward, Masih's sister Alia "went to the police station. She says her brother only shouted and used abusive language against the local ladies but did not utter any derogatory remarks against the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), but the police didn't believe her." If convicted, Stephen Masih could face the death penalty. According to Section 295-C of Pakistan's penal code...

by David Limbaugh

{jewishworldreview.com} ~ Liberal ideology is rife with inconsistencies, but none is greater than how its supposedly animating motivation — human compassion — is contradicted by its devaluation of human life.

Liberals have long claimed superior compassion and demonized conservatives as being uncaring. This has always been untrue while superficially appearing to be true, and liberals have evangelized countless young minds with this seductive canard.

It's difficult to convince embryonic liberal activists that individual liberals may be compassionate but their governing ideology and the inevitable consequences of their policies are not. It's also difficult to make them see that conservatives are compassionate and tolerant when we stand for unchanging moral standards and openly disagree with policies that liberals successfully peddle as compassionate.

But beyond the superficial rhetoric, liberalism does not stand the test of compassion, because it subordinates individuality to identity groups and the collective and degrades human dignity. One of the great ironies of secular humanism is its purported championship of mankind as the measure of all things while undermining what makes us human. How can a philosophy that devalues human individuality ultimately be compassionate toward human beings?

The most obvious example is liberals' extreme advocacy of abortion, making it a holy sacrament that is not about individual choice but a paranoid conviction that pro-lifers threaten women's rights, health care and autonomy.

Another example is socialism, which the leftist-dominated Democratic Party is virtually embracing today. Throughout history, socialists have duped millions of well-meaning people into believing that free market capitalism is evil and socialism is noble. I don't even subscribe to the glib pitch that it is wonderful in theory but doesn't work in practice. It's also unappealing in theory because it is fundamentally at odds with human nature and the human spirit. It arrogantly assumes it can remake human beings as irresponsive to incentives and devoid of their competitive spirit and their natural yearning for liberty.

In practice, socialism has consistently impoverished and enslaved. With its top-down control of the economy, it obliterates individual economic liberty and thus robs individuals of an essential part of their humanity. Government-forced transfer payments — taking other people's money to satisfy one's sense of moral self-worth — is a far cry from charity and compassion. I know of no conservatives who oppose a social safety net for the truly needy, provided it incentivizes the able-bodied to return to the workforce.

When it comes to health care, of course conservatives want to maximize people's access to the highest-quality care at the lowest prices and most choices, but they dispute that forcing everyone to be insured helps achieve any of those goals efficiently. What is true of socialized medicine is true of socialism generally: It doesn't work anywhere in the long run — including in Sweden, truth be told. How compassionate are socialism and less extreme big-government liberalism when they destroy economic growth and prosperity and, left to their own devices, often lead to totalitarianism? Socialism, just like much of economic and political liberalism, is more about people seeking power and control over individual lives.

The latest rage is intersectionality, which establishes new hierarchies of victimhood and privilege based on the overlapping and interrelated categories of disadvantages that groups of people have experienced. We must no longer look at discrimination through the "single-axis framework" of race, gender, class, disability, etc., but understand how the various identities intersect. Some people have multiple "burdens" or "disadvantages," such that black women, for example, suffer more discrimination than black men and white women. Unless we refine our thinking to account for these combinations of disabilities, the most disadvantaged will be ignored. Isn't this exhausting? Who really thinks like this if not forced to?

This is why feminists have recently been shamed for promoting their singular cause while presumably ignoring the plight of transgender people, gay people, the disabled and black women in particular. It is why intersectionality zealots are questioning whether Sen. lowlife-Kamala Harris is "black enough" to be president, as her father is Jamaican and her mother is Indian. She may not be black enough because she is not African-American — a bona fide descendant of American slaves. It is why race- and gender-obsessed people are upset that the three Democratic presidential front-runners are white men.

It doesn't seem to occur to these self-described supporters of democracy that three white guys happen to be ahead because people are voicing their opinions. It also doesn't seem to bother the Democrats expressing their preference for white men that though they won't dare challenge the orthodoxy of intersectionality, they are violating its premises with their voting inclinations.

Among other things, intersectionality is dehumanizing because people are demonized or protected depending on their group, not on what they have done or what they have personally experienced. How can people not see that this kind of thinking violates our basic sense of justice and accountability? Intersectionality, perhaps even more than the rudimentary forms of identity politics that preceded it, is also damaging to people because it forces them to focus on themselves as victims of disadvantaged groups rather than encourage them to strive, as individuals, to be the best they can be.

If the results of liberals' policies — as opposed to their good intentions, posturing and virtue signaling — count for anything and if the ideas they promote are as dehumanizing as they appear, though many individual liberals may have enormous hearts, the ideology to which they are in thrall is stunningly uncompassionate.
