Pentagon IG Probes Alleged Retaliation
By liar-nObama Holdover Against Whistleblower
by Richard Pollock
{lidblog.com} ~ The Pentagon’s Inspector General has launched a preliminary investigation into charges that James H. Baker... the director of the Defense Department’s Office of Net Assessment (ONA), is retaliating against a whistleblower who warned of “rigged” contracts to outside consultants, The Daily Caller News Foundation has confirmed. TheDCNF verified through two independent sources that the acting IG, Glenn A. Fine, initiated a formal “Whistleblower Reprisal Investigation” Sept. 28 to look into allegations that Baker unleashed various reprisals against Adam Lovinger, a senior ONA official. Lovinger warned about potential sweetheart deals to politically-connected outside contractors, including one with a woman Chelsea liar-Clinton has referred to as her “best friend.”...  http://lidblog.com/against-whistleblower/

Trump will recognize Jerusalem as
Israel’s capital in Wednesday speech — report
by ERIC CORTELLESSA
{timesofisrael.com} ~ Defying longstanding American policy, US President Donald Trump will give a speech Wednesday recognizing Jerusalem as Israel’s capital... according to an Axios report on Friday. A White House spokesman, contacted by The Times of Israel on Friday afternoon, would not confirm the story. “The president has always said it is a matter of when, not if,” the official said. “The president is still considering options and we have nothing to announce.” The Axios report cited two sources with direct knowledge of Trump’s intentions...  https://www.timesofisrael.com/trump-will-recognize-jerusalem-as-isr...

NSA Secretly Helped Convict Defendants
in US Courts, Classified Documents Reveal
by Trevor Aaronson
{theintercept.com} ~ Kurbanov resettled in Boise, Idaho, he rented an apartment, worked odd jobs, and was studying to be a truck driver..But about three years after entering the U.S., around the time he converted back to Islam, Kurbanov was placed under FBI surveillance. According to emails and internet chat logs obtained by the government, Kurbanov was disgusted by having seen Americans burn the Quran and by reports that an American soldier had tried to rape a Muslim girl. “My entire life, everything, changed,” Kurbanov wrote in a July 31, 2012 email. During Kurbanov’s trial, the government notified him that his conversations with an alleged Islamic Movement of Uzbekistan associate based in Pakistan had been intercepted. The spying, federal prosecutors said, had been authorized under the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act of 1978, which regulates the monitoring of agents of foreign governments and terrorist organizations. Kurbanov was convicted at trial and sentenced to 25 years in prison, after which he’ll be deported to Uzbekistan. He is an apparent success story for U.S. counterterrorism officials. If there was any doubt about Kurbanov’s propensity for violence, he eliminated it by stabbing a prison warden in California, an act for which he is now facing additional charges...  https://theintercept.com/2017/11/30/nsa-surveillance-fisa-section-702/

Senate GOP Campaign Fund
Stole From House Republicans

{goppresidential.com} ~ Staffers for Senate Republicans’ campaign arm seized information on more than 200,000 donors from the House GOP campaign committee...
over several months this year by breaking into its computer system, three sources with knowledge of the breach told POLITICO. The unauthorized raid on the National Republican Congressional Committee’s data created a behind-the-scenes rift with the National Republican Senatorial Committee, according to the sources, who described NRCC officials as furious. It comes at a time when House Republicans are focused on preparing to defend their 24-seat majority in the 2018 midterm elections. And it has spotlighted Senate Republicans’ deep fundraising struggles this year, with the NRSC spending more than it raised for four months in a row. Multiple NRSC staffers, who previously worked for the NRCC, used old database login information to gain access to House Republicans’ donor lists this year...

President Trump: “It’s a shame” Michael
Flynn Lied “There Was Nothing To Hide”
{theconservativetreehouse.com} ~ President Trump sends antagonistic media into spastic fits, and pearl-clutching circle-running... with a single tweet about Michael Flynn. Praetorian professional punditry immediately jump into their “he can’t” routine, filled with protestations about poor judgement and the risk of commenting on an on-going investigation, and such… blah, blah, blah…  There is absolutely NOTHING wrong with the President-Elect’s Transition Team talking to any foreign government, or any official within any foreign government. Ever. Period.  Actually, that’s exactly what transition teams are supposed to do; they reach out and receive information from foreign government officials as the starting point to communication with a new administration...   https://theconservativetreehouse.com/2017/12/02/president-trump-its...

Immigration Enforcement and Leniency Are a Futile Mix
by Jordan Candler:  A disturbing series of incidents on the southern border demonstrate what’s at stake when our leaders refuse to take illegal immigration seriously. Juan Carlos Perez-Medina was apprehended on Nov. 13, and he had with him entry-rejection paperwork from more than two years ago. Two ICE agents were analyzing the situation when Perez-Medina assaulted one of them and then jumped a delineator known as the “limit line,” cutting off the agents’ access to him.

The story doesn’t end there, however. Not 24 hours later, Perez-Medina attempted another illegal entry. And just like the previous day, agents apprehended him. Peculiarly, though, no charges were handed down for the assault he had just committed. So instead of going to jail and facing trial, he was intentionally shipped back to Mexico. What could go wrong?
Well, the story still doesn’t end there. On Nov. 17, Perez-Medina, apparently believing the third time’s a charm, set into motion yet another illegal entry. He moved toward and antagonized agents, reportedly even ominously bellowing, “I’m going to come back and kill you.” He then punched an agent before teammates interfered and cuffed Perez-Medina. This time, he was finally handed a serious charge: felony assault on a federal officer. Better late than never?
The strangeness and questionable decisions of this case notwithstanding, it’s good learning material. In Harford County, located on the outskirts of Baltimore, Maryland, “More than 40 people facing possible deportation were flagged by deputies as they came into the county jail,” CBS Baltimore reports. “Harford county correctional deputies are not only scanning arrestees’ criminal backgrounds, but also their immigration status.”
Four of the deportation candidates are associates of MS-13. And if you’re curious as to what MS-13 is capable of, the New York Daily News recently reported, “Authorities have arrested a 19-year-old member of the MS-13 gang in connection with the stabbing death of an unidentified man whose decapitated body was found with the heart removed.”
These people should be taken seriously, and good for Harford County for realizing it. Sheriff Jeffrey Gahler is right: “These are offenders who are not only here in the country illegally, but have committed acts that the federal government feels that they shouldn’t be returned to our community.” But that’s difficult to do when there’s a lack of binding policies. On the one hand, Hartford County is being proactive and seeking to deport dangerous men. But that’s undermined when other dangerous guys like Perez-Medina are given second chances and they can simply re-enter (hence the need for a border wall and unsparing prosecution). That’s one way MS-13 gets here in the first place. Unified enforcement and prevention are the key to a healthy and strong immigration system.

‘WikiLeaks Can’t Protect Their Sources’
Is The CIA About To Reveal Names Of DNC Leakers

The saga surrounding who leaked sensitive DNC documents to WikiLeaks may take an interesting turn, hints former CIA officer Fred Rustmann.

WND reports:

The Central Intelligence Agency knows the identities of the people who leaked DNC emails to the whistleblower organization WikiLeaks during the heat of the 2016 presidential campaign, a former CIA officer contends.

Fred Rustmann, who served as an operations officer in the CIA’s National Clandestine Service for 24 years and was a member of the agency’s elite Senior Intelligence Service, said in an interview with WND that WikiLeaks’ ongoing release of classified information is “disgusting.”

“WikiLeaks says they want to protect their sources – Julian Assange said that he wouldn’t reveal his sources, but he would say that it wasn’t the Russians,” Rustmann said. “But the agency knows a lot of the information. I suspect they may have a pretty good idea of who provided that information to WikiLeaks.”

Rustmann’s comments raise questions about potential plans for the CIA to reveal the names of those who allegedly leaked DNC documents to WikiLeaks.

Recently, the CIA made a veiled threat to WikiLeaks in respect to protecting their sources.

“WikiLeaks may think they are protecting those who provide them with classified information & other secrets, but they should not be certain of that,” the CIA statement said.

In a statement to WND, Robert L. Deitz, a former advisor to CIA head Michael Hayden, called the threat “unprecedented.”

“It’s pretty unusual for the CIA to make a threat to WikiLeaks so publicly. It’s pretty unprecedented; one ought to be skeptical about this. That is not the way that CIA officials should operate,” Deitz said.

“This is the kind of thing, if somebody were to make this kind of threat it would come out of a different organization, DOD, State or maybe the White House. Traditionally it would certainly not come out of the CIA,” Deitz added.

WikiLeaks is in the news after both CNN and CBS falsely reported the group granted Donald Trump Jr. access to future leaks.

However, WikiLeaks had tweeted a link to the information days before the email reached Trump Jr.’s inbox. The fake news media claim this was stone cold proof of collusion, as WikiLeaks has long been smeared as a Kremlin puppet.
