Clapper Pretends He Knows Nothing

{ rickwells.us } ~ Pathological perjurer and former DNI, James “Not Wittingly” Clapper, is busily covering his tracks and trying to keep himself from going to prison... As Joe diGenova noted there is a strong likelihood that Clapper will be before a grand jury in the very near future or it may have already taken place, in response to a referral for prosecution by the DOJ Inspector General. In attempting to sway public opinion to support his claims that his criminal actions were in the best interest of the country and not worth examination, Clapper and his comrade Don Lemon got together for a little chit-chat that included his lame denials of wrongdoing in spying on the Trump campaign. Lemon reads a tweet from President Trump which exposes that the same truth that Lemon and the libtard media lambasted the President for revealing back on March 4th, was even worse than previously thought. Not only were Trump and his team spied upon by the intelligence agencies and FBI, and that includes Clapper, but their cabal planted at least one operative within the campaign as well....

On May 17, UCLA’s Students Supporting Israel club hosted an “Indigenous Peoples Unite!” event in which a panel of speakers from Armenian, Kurdish and Jewish communities discussed stories about the history and struggles of their respective peoples. Toward the end of the event, one of the protesters went to the front of the stage and tore down the Armenian flag, snarling, “This is my f––ing flag.” The protesters then surrounded the students and began playing Middle Eastern music, leading into chants of “Free free Palestine!”, “From the river to the sea, Palestine will be set free!”, “Justice is our demand, there will be no peace on stolen land”, and “One, two, three, four, four, open up the prison doors, five, six, seven, eight, Israel is a terror state!” on megaphones...Why can't these people of Palestinian get over it and get along with others. http://jewishjournal.com/news/los_angeles/234289/pro-palestinian-protesters-disrupt-ucla-indigenous-peoples-event/.

A staunch cold warrior and the director of Eastern European and Soviet Affairs on the national security council during the Reagan administration from 1981–83, Pipes had fled Nazi-occupied Poland with his parents and arrived in the United States in July 1940. He spent his entire career at Harvard, where he published many books on Russia and the Soviet Union. In an editorial, the Wall Street Journal stated, “Richard Pipes was a thinking man’s realist on the world’s affairs. His habits of mind and argument will be missed.” Central to Pipes’ mission was his stalwart opposition to totalitarianism, a term that came into bad odor in the 1970s as a new generation of scholars, influenced by the Vietnam War, began to paint the United States, not the Soviet Union, as the aggressor in the cold war. liar-nObamacare Is Still with Us, and Getting Worse

{ cato.org } ~ Speaking at a campaign-style rally in Michigan last week, President Trump declared liar-nObamacare dead... “Essentially, we are getting rid of liar-nObamacare… . Some people would say, essentially, we have gotten rid of it.” Um, no. Whatever those mysterious “some people” might think, not only is liar-nObamacare still with us, but its problems are getting worse. What the president was likely referring to was the health-care law’s much-despised individual mandate, the requirement that every American purchase health insurance or pay a penalty, which was repealed as part of the tax-reform bill. But while the mandate was always the most unpopular part, it was never the structural heart of the Affordable Care Act. In many ways, liar-nObamacare’s original sin is its requirement that insurers cover people with pre-existing conditions without charging them premiums commensurate with their costs. By trying to shoehorn people who are almost by definition uninsurable into the traditional insurance markets, liar-nObamacare undermined and destabilized those markets — risking what actuaries call an adverse-selection death spiral, in which the sick are increasingly likely to purchase insurance, while the healthy drop out of the market. The individual mandate was a costly and ineffective attempt to deal with this problem by forcing young and healthy people to buy overpriced insurance, thereby offsetting the losses insurers were suffering on covering the old and sick. Other troublesome aspects of liar-nObamacare, from subsidies to the government-designed standard benefits package, flow naturally from this point....

'Animals': The Leftmedia's Latest BIG Lie
by Thomas Gallatin: This week we have yet another case study in the mainstream Leftmedia’s practice of dezinformatsiya in the era of #Resistance to Donald Trump. This was an irrefutable example of how intentionally quoting out of context can create an alternative narrative that is then presented as fact. In this case, the Demo/MSM propaganda machine went out of its way to bolster its narrative that Trump’s motivation for enforcing America’s immigration laws is his own racism. The context the Leftmedia intentionally ignored: Trump was involved Wednesday in a roundtable discussion with law enforcement from across the country seeking to address the problems sanctuary cities pose for immigration enforcement. At one point, Fresno County Sheriff Margaret Mims thanked the president for recognizing and seeking to address the problem. But she also complained about the law: “There could be an MS-13 member I know about [but] if they don’t reach a certain threshold, I cannot tell ICE about it.” Trump responded:
We have people coming into the country, or trying to come in — and we’re stopping a lot of them — but we’re taking people out of the country. You wouldn’t believe how bad these people are. These aren’t people. These are animals. And we’re taking them out of the country at a level and at a rate that’s never happened before. And because of the weak laws, they come in fast, we get them, we release them, we get them again, we bring them out. It’s crazy. The dumbest laws — as I said before, [we have] the dumbest laws on immigration in the world. So we’re going to take care of it, Margaret. We’ll get it done.
Cue the Leftmedia’s spin. Here are a few of the headlines: The Washington Post: “Trump compares illegal immigrants to ‘animals’” The New York Times: “Trump calls some unauthorized immigrants ‘animals’ in rant” Huffington Post: “Trump refers to immigrants as ‘animals.’ Again.” USA Today: “Trump ramps up rhetoric on undocumented immigrants: ‘These aren’t people. These are animals.’” Vox: “Trump on deported immigrants: ‘They’re not people. They’re animals.’” NPR: “During roundtable, Trump calls some unauthorized immigrants ‘animals’”
What utterly contemptible lies. Trump responded to the propaganda in his usual fashion, stating, “Fake News Media had me calling Immigrants, or Illegal Immigrants, ‘Animals.’ Wrong! … I referred to MS 13 Gang Members as ‘Animals,’ a big difference — and so true. Fake News got it purposely wrong, as usual!”
Once again, the Leftmedia has been exposed as a lying spin machine for Democrat talking points. It’s no wonder so many Americans have lost trust in the media. ~The Patriot Post
