Nearly 2,500 Migrants in Tijuana Sick
With Communicable Diseases
by R. Cort Kirkwood
{} ~ If wrecking American sovereignty, lowering wages, and increasing the public welfare load aren’t reasons enough to oppose the influx of migrant invaders sitting in Tijuana... here is another: At least 30 percent of them are sick with communicable diseases they might spread to Americans in schools, hospitals, welfare and employment offices, and other public places. And by “sick,” officials in Mexico don’t mean the common cold. They mean serious disease. Some of the migrants are turning around and heading home after months of traveling through Mexico, as The New American reported today. But with a third of the 6,000 or so in Tijuana coughing and breaking out in blisters, now is not the time for the Trump administration to weaken. That’s because the diseases many of the migrants carry are deadly — or can be. “Out of 6,000 migrants currently residing in the city, over a third of them (2,267) are being treated for health-related issues,” Fox News reported. So far, officials have confirmed three cases of tuberculosis, four cases of AIDS, and four separate cases of chickenpox, the network reported. Even worse, they’ve also brought in bugs. Real bugs. At least 101, Fox reported, carry lice and “skin infections.” That means the migrants might well start a typhus epidemic or bring in chagas disease...
Uncovering Corruption in

Ivanka Trump Sees ‘No Equivalency’ With
scumbag/liar-Hillary Clinton’s Use of Private Email
by Tristan Justice
{} ~ Ivanka Trump, elder daughter and senior adviser of President Donald Trump, broke her silence Wednesday on the controversy surrounding her use of private email... to conduct state business during her early days in the White House. In an interview with ABC News’ Deborah Roberts in Idaho, Ivanka Trump said she saw “no equivalency” between her use of private email and  acumbag/liar-Hillary Clinton’s use of a private email account and server to conduct official business during four years as secretary of state. “People who want to see it as the same see it as the same,” Trump told Roberts while on a trip promoting STEM initiatives for science, technology, engineering, and math with Apple CEO Tim Cook. Trump argued that no comparison can be made with  acumbag/liar-Clinton’s routine use of unsecure private email as President Barack acumbag/liar-nObama’s first secretary of state, something her father and his supporters frequently targeted on the 2016 campaign trail, often chanting, “Lock her up!” “All of my emails are stored and preserved,” Trump said. “There were no deletions, there is no attempt to hide. There’s no equivalency to what my father has spoken about.”...
Some Migrants Returning Home,
But 2,000 More Heading For Tijuana
by R. Cort Kirkwood
{} ~ With news they might have to wait at least six weeks even to apply for asylum, some migrants in the massive squatter’s camp in Tijuana have said enough is enough... Ignoring the advice from Thomas Wolfe — “you can’t go home again” — they’re packing up and heading back home. At least 50 families, the Washington Post reported, are returning to their native lands with assistance. Thousands more had already dropped out. Others have decided to settle and work in Mexico. The Wall Street Journal reported that hundreds have gone. Whatever the number, most of the teeming mass of unwelcome migrants in Tijuana still think they’re headed into the United States — legally or not. Many of the migrants, the Post reported, are opting for “assisted voluntary return.” “For migrants who spent two months walking and hitchhiking through Central America and Mexico, it is a dramatic reversal, a sign of how poor the conditions are here, and how surprised some families are when they learn details about the lengthy U.S. asylum process,” the Post  reported. A border offiicial told CNN the other day that migrants can’t even apply for asylum for six weeks. Border officials are handling about 100 applications per day. And a mere application does not guarantee entry...
scumbag-James Comey takes House
Republicans subpoena fight to federal court
by Kelly Cohen
{} ~ Former FBI Director  scumbag-James Comey has filed a lawsuit in federal court in Washington fighting a subpoena from the House Judiciary Committee to testify in a closed-door session... scumbag-Comey was served a subpoena from Chairman Bob Goodlatte, R-Va., last week and said he would only testify if the hearing was public. In the 17-page motion filed in U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia late Thursday, a lawyer for   scumbag-Comey says the closed-door deposition “exceeds a proper legislative purpose, is issued in violation of House rules, and unduly prejudices and harasses the witness.”The House Judiciary Committee, alongside the House Oversight Committee, has been conducting a joint investigation into the Justice Department and FBI’s actions ahead of the 2016 presidential election. This includes the probe into former Secretary of State   scumbag/liar-Hillary Clinton’s use of a private email server. The chairmen of both committees wrote a letter to   scumbag-Comey on Sept. 21 requesting he appear voluntarily for a closed-door interview, to which  scumbag-Comey said in a letter on Oct. 1 that he would decline the invitation. According to the motion filed Thursday,   scumbag-Comey did not hear from the committees until the subpoena to appear was issued on Nov. 21...
Actually, the Tax Cuts ARE Working
by Nate Jackson:  When GM announced major layoffs and plant closures earlier this week, Democrats immediately blamed GOP corporate tax cuts. We argued GM’s problem is far more complicated than that; other factors include its bailout 10 years ago, Big Labor, and a poor and unpopular product lineup. Not only that, but Democrats were missing the forest for one tree.

The Wall Street Journal’s James Freeman agrees. Noting yesterday’s updated but largely unrevised report of third-quarter GDP growth of 3.5%, Freeman wrote, “Despite concerns over trade disputes and a slowing global economy, the corporate tax rate cut enacted in December of 2017 continues to encourage the business investment that leads to higher productivity and higher wages for American workers. Today the government reported that such investment was higher than it initially reported for the third quarter of the year.
In other words, the significant revision to the GDP report was that American companies invested substantially more than initially reported. Freeman explains, “The Commerce Department has reported that non-residential fixed investment rose 2.5% at an annual rate in the three months ending in September, up from 0.8% in the earlier estimate. Within this overall category of business investment, spending on equipment was revised to estimated growth of 3.5%, up sharply from an earlier 0.4% estimate.”
How did companies have that money to invest in growth? Their taxes were substantially lower. If Democrats blaming Republicans for GM had their way, the U.S. would still have the highest corporate tax rate in the world. Lower tax rates obviously don’t fix every ill in the economy, but leaving businesses — and by extension consumers — with more of their own money means there will be more jobs, higher wages, and overall economic growth that would be hampered by Democrat policies.
That’s why it’s so laughably absurd for Barack scumbag/liar-nObama to keep taking credit for Donald Trump’s economy. Let’s hope House Democrats don’t, as they like to say, turn back the clock.

Fact Check:   'Joe Biden Claims ‘We Didn’t Lock People Up In Cages’

CLAIM: Former Vice President Joe Biden claimed, on immigration: “We didn’t lock people up in cages.”

VERDICT: FALSE. The “cages” were built by the Obama-Biden administration.

Univision moderator Jorge Ramos asked Biden at the third Democrat debate at Texas Southern University in Houston, Texas, why Latinos should trust him after the Obama administration continued deporting “undocumented immigrants.”

Biden claimed that the Obama administration’s policies were more humane than those of President Donald Trump: “We didn’t lock people up in cages,” he said.

In fact, the “cages” were built by the Obama administration to deal with a surge of unaccompanied minors who crossed the border illegally in 2014.

Originally, the Obama administration was “warehousing” children — literally — in overwhelmed Border Patrol facilities. Breitbart News broke the story of the surge, which was partly triggered by Obama’s policy of allowing illegal alien children who entered the country as minors to stay in the country (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, or DACA).

The above photo was published by the Associated Press in June 2014, and the photo below is of Obama’s Secretary of Homeland Security, Jeh Johnson, touring a Border Patrol facility with “cages.”

The “cages” are chain-link enclosures in Border Patrol processing facilities that are meant to protect children from adults in custody. They are not permanent accommodations.

In mid-2018, as the Trump administration began enforcing a “zero tolerance” policy that stopped the “catch-and-release” policy of letting illegal aliens go after they were arrested. Detaining adults and children meant that children had to be processed separately; the enclosures prevented adults from harming children.

As Breitbart News reported at the time, children were not housed in “cages.” They were processed and then taken to shelters, where they were given medical care, toiletries, education, recreation, and counseling, and where staff attempted to find relatives or sponsors to whom they could be released.

Democrats began tweeting images of “kids in cages” to condemn the Trump administration. Journalists, too, shared those images.

One problem: they were taken during the Obama administration.

Public outrage at the images led President Trump to end the policy, and require families to be detained together.

Democrats keep repeating the mistake, however: in July, they had to delete a tweet that used an image from the Obama era and cited the “inhumane treatment” of children by the Trump administration.

Republicans argue that not detaining illegal aliens is actually the cruel policy, because it encourages migrants to undertake a dangerous journey, often guided by cartels and smugglers.

As Breitbart News’ Alana Mastrangelo noted recently:

But what’s worse than “cages,” however, are reports of migrant children also being handed over to human traffickers during the Obama administration — while Biden was vice president — according to the New York Times. Between October 2013 and July 2015 alone, nearly 80,000 unaccompanied children from Central American countries were detained by U.S. authorities.

It remains unclear how many of the tens of thousands of children were handed over to human traffickers — including sex traffickers — during that span of nearly two years, as those cases are reportedly not tracked.

“Others were ransomed by the very smugglers to whom their families paid thousands of dollars to sneak them into the United States,” reported the New York Times in 2015, during Obama’s presidency and Biden’s vice presidency. “Some lost limbs during the journey or found themselves sold into sexual slavery.”

Biden told voters in South Carolina last month that he would close all border detention facilities, guaranteeing that the migrant flow would continue.
