nOBAMA LOOKING TO BYPASS CONGRESS ON IRAN AT U.N.?
With
reports that the U.S. and other major powers of U.N. Security Council are quietly considering ending sanctions on Iran if a nuclear deal is struck, the one-upmanship battle between White House and Congress over the shape of any agreement with Tehran has reached new heights of confrontation.  The move, the administration’s latest effort to by-pass Congress’s ability to undo a deal the president badly wants, has raised Republican hackles.
Corker in it - AP: “In a letter, [Sen. Bob Corker, R-Tenn.] said letting the U.N. consider such an agreement, while at the same time threatening to veto legislation that would allow Congress to vote on it, is a ‘direct affront’ to the American people and would undermine the role of Congress. In exchange for signing onto a deal aimed at keeping it from developing nuclear weapons, Iran seeks relief from sanctions, including those imposed by the U.S. executive branch, the United Nations and Congress. Corker has introduced legislation requiring any final agreement with Iran to be submitted to Congress for review before any sanctions imposed by Congress can be eased.”  -Fox News

Outside game -   David Drucker writes that despite blowback inside the Beltway, Republicans see a win in Senators’ letter to Iran: “Newspaper editorials rebuke its author, Sen. Tom Cotton, R-Ark, and diplomatic professionals deride it as dangerously undermining foreign policy and national security. Even some Republicans worry that it takes opposition to nObama a step too far. But the letter should bolster Republicans’ standing with voters….Republican operatives say the GOP has to be careful not to cross the line between exercising their constitutional authority and diminishing the presidency. But those outside Washington said erring on the side of standing up for Israel and opposing ‘lunatic’ mullahs in Iran is a good place to be, politically”
“I’m embarrassed for them. For them to address a letter to the Ayatollah, who they claim is our mortal enemy, and their basic argument to them is don’t deal with our president because you can’t trust him to follow through on an agreement, that’s close to unprecedented.” – President nObama in an interview with Vice.   -Fox News

nOBAMA SAYS ‘OPPRESSIVE’ POLICE FORCE DID NOT MERIT   SHOOTING
President nObama, who left the White House Thursday bound for the West Coast well after the news broke that two Ferguson, Mo., police officers had been shot and well before the evening news cycle, spoke his first words about the shooting in a taped interview on the late night comedy talk show “Jimmy Kimmel Live”.
Fox News: “nObama condemned the shooting… saying that though the city’s law enforcement practices were ‘oppressive and objectionable’, there was ‘no excuse’ for violence. … ‘Whoever fired those shots should not detract from the issue -- they are criminals, they need to be arrested,’ nObama said… Earlier Thursday, nObama had tweeted about the shooting, calling it ‘unacceptable.’”

HITS KEEP COMING FOR EMBATTLED SCHOCK
National Journal: “[Rep. Aaron Schock, R-Ill.] appears to have improperly accepted money from an outside group to cover travel expenses for a companion on a trip to India and failed to disclose it in a possible violation of House rules, according to a National Journal review of public records. Schock traveled to India on official business in August 2014, a trip during which he met with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The Global Poverty Project, an advocacy organization that seeks to alleviate extreme poverty internationally, footed the bill, according to a spokesman for the group. But Schock’s photographer and videographer, Jonathon Link, traveled with him on the trip, which was well-documented on Schock's Instagram account…”

Ralph Peters – Can’t Admit When He’s Wrong Or Made A Mistake
(rickwells.us) - Lt Colonel Ralph Peters has a few words to say about the fact that, in spite of America now being in the seventh miserable year of the torturous and fraudulent nObama “presidency,”...he still is compelled to point to his predecessor as the culprit for all of his ills. In an interview with the ultra liberal Vice News, Hussein nObama blames George Bush’s invasion of Iraq for the existence of ISIS. He doesn’t fault his own complete abdication of his duty to maintain the hard-won peace, a victory he failed to secure through the deployment of a stay-behind presence when he withdrew from Iraq.

Netanyahu wins, New York Times crestfallen
(Robert Spencer) - Against all odds, life and freedom have won, and Netanyahu has emerged the victor over those who would appease and accommodate the forces who proudly proclaim that they love death and destruction...The New York Times couldn’t be more furious, and vents its bile against Netanyahu in this spiteful piece charging him with running a “racist” and “divisive” campaign. Does anyone still persist in the fantasy that the New York Times is an objective, nonpartisan reporter of the news? If so, note the words and phrases I have highlighted in this petulant piece lamenting that the jihad enablers didn’t prevail. The New York Times can go to hell.       http://www.jihadwatch.org/2015/03/netanyahu-wins-new-york-times-crestfallen?utm_source=Jihad+Watch+Daily+Digest&utm_campaign=91301bf3b2-Daily_Digest&utm_medium=email&utm_term=0_ffcbf57bbb-91301bf3b2-123451509

Hilly Clinton’s Top Five Clashes Over Secrecy
(Jeff Gerth) - She told a New Hampshire audience that if elected she would implement a "plan to enhance accountability and transparency" and "to replace secrecy and mystery with openness."...One part of her plan: "It's time our government went fully online as well." She lost her White House bid. But 20 months later, before Barack nObama took that job and she became secretary of state, she set up a private computer server registered to her home in Chappaqua, N.Y., to handle all her official, as well as private, emails for the next four years. Her decision — a secret until earlier this month — impeded efforts by the press and others to review State Department actions. Today it is Hilly Clinton's record of transparency that has come under fire. At a press conference Tuesday, she acknowledged that in retrospect "it would've been better for me to use two separate phones and two email accounts." She has asked the State Department to release her official emails, a process that could take months.       http://www.propublica.org/article/hillary-clintons-top-five-clashes-over-secrecy

Robert Rector Estimates Lifetime Retirement Costs Of Illegals
(Caroline May) - The lifetime costs of Social Security and Medicare benefits of illegal immigrant beneficiaries of President nObama’s executive amnesty would be well over a trillion dollars...according to Heritage Foundation expert Robert Rector’s prepared testimony for a House panel obtained in advance by Breitbart News. Rector, a senior research fellow at Heritage, is slated to speak on the costs of nObama’s executive amnesty Tuesday before the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee. He will testify to the high entitlement costs of granting legal status to millions of illegal immigrants. Based on Rector’s calculations, which assume that at least 3.97 illegal immigrants would apply for and receive legal status under Deferred Action for Parents of U.S. citizens and legal permanent residents (DAPA), and that the average DAPA beneficiary would have a 10th grade education, the costs would be immense.       http://www.breitbart.com/big-government/2015/03/17/robert-rector-estimates-lifetime-retirement-costs-of-illegals-granted-executive-amnesty-at-1-3-trillion/?AID=7236

The MB Colonizes America and the Press Says Nothing
(joemiller.us) - The United States of America, primarily through the political left and Democrat Party, has been virtually colonized by the Muslim Brotherhood. Also known by their Arabic name, Ikhwan...they are a totalitarian, terrorist Islamic group that seeks our destruction because we are a free people. We witness the Muslim Brotherhood’s planned destruction of America in many areas of contemporary life. A purposefully weak economy fails to produce the capitalist dynamism that has defined America for generations, and many millions remain unemployed. Abroad, the Muslim Brotherhood’s domination of American foreign policy instigated and backed the failed “Arab Spring,” which may ultimately result in Iranian domination of the Middle East. We feel their suffocating effects on our democracy every day, as our freedoms, traditions, opportunities, and rule of law slip away. The people suffer as prices continue to rise and the public sinks into a bottomless pit of debt. The hostile, conquered government in Washington strangles our liberty each time nObama, like a self-crowned emperor, passes new regulatory laws without Congress.       http://joemiller.us/2015/03/the-betrayal-papers-the-muslim-brotherhood-colonizes-america-and-the-press-says-nothing/?utm_source=JoeMiller.US+List&utm_campaign=2fecf23e2f-RSS_EMAIL_CAMPAIGN&utm_medium=email&utm_term=0_065b6c381c-2fecf23e2f-230998701

Petraeus Required to Sign Separation Form But Clinton Was Not?
(Andrew McCarthy) - In my column on the plea agreement the nObama Justice Department allowed David Petreaus to enter after it was discovered that he mishandled classified information...I noted that he had been required to sign a separation agreement when he left the CIA. It is called a “Security Exit Form” and is obviously the CIA version of the State Department departure form described in Jim’s post (and linked in Shannen’s column) that Secretary Clinton should have signed upon leaving government service. Petraeus was also required to sign at least three other forms dealing with his obligations not to retain government records and to keep secret information secret. The Secretary of State deals with mounds upon mounds of classified information – maybe not as much as the CIA director, but close, and equally at the most highly protected levels of classification.       http://www.aim.org/guest-column/why-was-cia-director-petraeus-required-to-sign-separation-form-if-secretary-clinton-was-not/?utm_source=AIM+-+Daily+Email&utm_campaign=email031815&utm_medium=email

State Dept. Finally Admits: No Record Hilly Signed Exit Form
(John Hayward) - Another piece of the puzzle fell into place in Hilly Clinton’s ever-deepening email scandal, as the State Department – following days of absolutely absurd foot-dragging – finally admitted it can’t seem to find any record of her signed Form OF-109...This is a crucial document signed by departing State Department employees, testifying that all official records have been turned over, including – but not limited to – classified materials and emails. Since it is manifestly obvious that Hilly Clinton didn’t turn over all such materials, her signature on the OF-109 would have constituted perjury. Ever since lawyers familiar with this document began describing it, the State Department has been asked to produce the exit paperwork for Clinton (and her top aides Cheryl Mills, Huma Abedin, and Philippe Reines, who also had accounts on Clinton’s secret email server.) The Republican National Committee filed a Freedom of Information Act request for the documents. Even Clinton-friendly reporters have been asking about it.       http://www.breitbart.com/big-government/2015/03/17/state-dept-finally-admits-no-record-hillary-clinton-signed-standard-exit-form/

The Niqab is the Flag of Islamism
(Tarek Fatah) - In Khaled Hosseini's soul-piercing novel A Thousand Splendid Suns, the character Nana, a poor, unwed mother, tells her five-year-old daughter, Mariam: "Learn this now and learn it well, my daughter...Like a compass needle that points north, a man's accusing finger always finds a woman. Always. You remember that, Mariam." Hosseini's best-selling novel was about life in Afghanistan, but in the 30 words above he sums up the way men govern the lives of women across much of the Muslim world. Like Mariam, millions of Muslim girls are told very early in life by their mothers that their place in society is one of submission; submission not to God, but to man. Hosseini's 2007 book remained at number one on the New York Times bestseller list for four months. In its first week on the market, it sold over one million copies. But if there is someone who seems not to have read the novel, it's Canadian Liberal Party leader Justin Trudeau.       http://www.meforum.org/5119/niqab-flag-Islamism

NY Times Drops Bombshell About nObama FINANCED Al Qaeda
(clyde) - After CIA drone strikes rocked al-Qaida strongholds in 2010, the terrorists turned to kidnapping to raise ransom money to fund reconstruction efforts...Osama bin Laden, former leader of Al-Qaida, was then holding an Afghan diplomat for a $5 million price tag. The Afghan officials were struggling to come up with the money. That is, until they received it from this unlikely source. A recent report just proved Barack nObama’s CIA was funneling monthly cash payments to the Kabul presidential palace. Afghan officials then used $1 million of American taxpayer dollars to pay a ransom being demanded by America’s most dangerous enemy. You heard that right. nObama sent money to Afghan officials who then sent it to Osama bin Laden.       http://gopthedailydose.com/2015/03/18/breaking-ny-times-drops-bombshell-about-how-obama-financed-al-qaeda/

Hero of the Middle East: The Israeli Messenger
(Bassam Tawil) - In its evident, inexplicable eagerness to sign just about any deal with Iran to allow it nuclear weapons capability, the U.S. State Department has removed Iran and its proxy, Hezbollah -- two of the world most undisguised promoters of terror -- from its Foreign Terrorist Organizations List...Iran's President, Hassan Rouhani, has even openly admitted that Iran's diplomacy with the U.S. is an active "jihad." How much plainer does a message have to get? The Islamists have nothing but contempt for Europe's weakness. The West needs to paralyze Iran, rather than appease it. A series of significant defeats to Islamist organizations will counter the effects of their efforts to entice young people to join them, especially ISIS.  http://www.gatestoneinstitute.org/5408/israeli-messenger

(jewishworldreview.com) - Within moments of the announcement of the exit polls, some of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's critics were claiming his win in Tuesday's Knesset election was the result of a crude, racist appeal to voters.

The justification for this charge was a speech made by Netanyahu and released only on social media because of restrictions on campaign appeals in the media, telling the country that left-wing groups funded by foreign money were busing Arab voters to the polls in order to elect a left-wing government led by his Zionist Union rival Isaac Herzog.

Netanyahu's opponents interpreted this as an appeal to racism. The statement was unfortunate because it made it seem as if the prime minister viewed Arab voters as somehow illegitimate. But the voters likely saw it in a different light.

The prospect of a left-wing government that depended on the Joint Arab List was always unlikely. But a critical mass of voters viewed the prospect with alarm not because they're racists but because a government that relied on the votes of anti-Zionists that favor Israel's dissolution was something they considered a danger to the future of their country.

Despite the expectation that dissatisfaction Netanyahu would lead to the end of his career, Netanyahu appears to have survived and will likely surpass David Ben Gurion as the country's longest serving prime minister.

Only a few days ago this was considered unlikely because the polls showed Herzog's Labor-led party with a solid four-seat lead. But just as Netanyahu's numbers were depressed in 2009 and 2013 because of the widespread belief that he couldn't lose, the belief that he was finished had the opposite effect. A significant number of voters who might have gone for other right-wing parties such as Naphtali Bennet's Jewish Home, went back to Likud in the final days in order to prevent a victory for the left.

But what those venturing opinions about the election must understand is that despite the hopes of the Israeli left and its foreign supporters (including one particular fan in the White House), the basic political alignment of the country remained unchanged.

The center-right and religious parties retained a clear majority over the parties of the left. Likud's natural allies outnumber those of the left. The only way for Herzog to become prime minister was to assemble an unlikely coalition of the left, secular and fervently-Orthodox parties. Even then, he might still need the support from the anti-Zionist Arab list composed of Communists, Islamists and radical Arab nationalists.

Contrary to the implications of Netanyahu's statement, the increased turnout of Arab voters is a good thing for the country. Israeli Arabs should be invested in their country and take advantage of its democratic system. But the small gains by the Joint Arab List — which seems to have won 13 seats over the 11 won by the elements of its coalition, previously — won't make much of a difference because the new Knesset members will remain in the minority. It is also a near certainty that the three factions will split once the dust settles from the election.

Even some of Israel's friends in the United States may be asking themselves how is it possible for the Jewish state's voters to give a majority to parties that are unlikely to agree to a two-state solution with the Palestinians. The answer is that unlike most Americans, Israel's voters have been paying attention to the history of the conflict over the past 20 years and know that Herzog was no more likely to create a Palestinian state than Netanyahu.

Nor is it fair to brand Netanyahu, who did not denigrate the right of Arabs to vote, a racist.

There is no comparison between the efforts of minorities to vote in Western democracies or the United States and the desire of the Arab parties to destroy Israel. That's because the Palestinian leadership, split between Hamas and Fatah, has consistently refused peace offers that would have given them independence.

Most Israelis would like a two-state solution to happen but they know that under the current circumstances any withdrawal from the West Bank might duplicate the disastrous retreat from Gaza in 2005. Though Western journalists mocked Netanyahu's comments about wanting to prevent a "Hamasistan" in the West Bank, the voters in Israel largely agreed.

That doesn't make them racist or extreme. It means they are, like most Americans, realists. They may not like Netanyahu but Tuesday's results demonstrates that there is little support for a government that would make the sort of concessions to the Palestinians that President nObama would like. They rightly believe that even if Israel did make more concessions it would only lead to more violence, not peace.

Israel's foreign critics and friends need to understand that in the end, it was those convictions have, for all intents and purposes, re-elected Netanyahu.
