 THE DONALD UNDONE?
Apologize? Drop out of the race? Hardly. Donald Trump’s answers to a deluge of criticism from Republican rivals and the national party over his attack on Sen. John McCain’s standing as a war hero and the Arizona Senator’s record on veterans: “They’re very upset that I’m leading the polls,” and by the way, “the news media are also distorting my words.”  In the latest round of barbs, Trump doubled down on his criticism of McCain’s record in a USAT OpEd, and balked at competitors scorn saying, “I do not need to be lectured by any of them.”
[He knows best - NYT: “[His] improvised fit of pique…exposed the biggest vulnerability of Mr. Trump’s campaign for president: It is built entirely around the instincts and grievances of its unpredictable candidate  — and does not rely on a conventional political operation that protects presidential hopefuls from themselves.”]
The past 48 hours have seen a number of reports that Trump’s comments have passed a tipping point. Others have surfaced questioning the billionaire’s service deferments during the Vietnam war.  But the fact remains he continues to draw oxygen from a crowded GOP field, particularly the likes of Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, and Carly Fiorina. With the first debate just 17 days away and another candidate about to join the group that oxygen is becoming precious, especially for those on the debate stage bubble.
So far, name recognition and strong poll numbers have enabled Trump to throw his verbal grenades and to an extent channel them into issues that find some resonance in the party.  Whether he can do the same with his latest blast, or if he has dropped this one too close to his feet remains to be seen. The rapid Republican backlash may point to the beginning of the end of a Trump pageantry. The Donald’s response clearly shows he thinks he has by no means reached his undoing.
[Asked on MSNBC’s Morning Joe if Trump owes him an apology, McCain responded: “No, I don’t think so. But I think he may owe an apology to the families of those who have sacrificed in conflict and those who have undergone the prison experience in serving their country.”]
But that wasn’t the worst of it - Wash Ex’s Byron York says that bashing McCain wasn’t Trump’s worst mistake in Iowa this weekend. He writes, “Instead, Trump’s casual and disengaged characterization of religious faith may have made a far worse impression on the mostly evangelical conservatives who came to hear Trump and other Republican hopefuls speak.”  -Fox News

Walker confronted by family of illegal immigrant -  ABC News: “[Gov. Scott Walker, R-Wisc.] was confronted by a family of an undocumented worker in his childhood hometown of Plainfield, Iowa during one of the final stops of his whirlwind presidential campaign launch tour on SundayJose Flores, an undocumented immigrant who calls Wisconsin home, was accompanied by his 13-year-old daughter Leslie and 7-year-old son Luis, both of whom were born in the United States and naturalized citizens…Shaking Flores’ hand, Walker said he ‘completely sympathize[s] with the situation you’re all in and others are in’ but… ‘The fact is, we’re a nation of laws,” Walker said. “And unfortunately, the president last year, after saying 22 times before last year that he couldn’t make the law himself, he said he wasn’t the emperor…he decided to change the law even though the courts announced that you can’t do that.’”  -Fox News

WITH YOUR SECOND CUP OF COFFEE
With the revolutionary images of Pluto capturing the nation’s attention last week it seems only fitting to remember the first major planetary achievement: man on the moon. On this day in history 46 years ago, Neil Armstrong, and his astronaut crewmade history: “After traveling 240,000 miles in 76 hours, Apollo 11 entered into a lunar orbit on July 19. The next day, at 1:46 p.m., the lunar module Eagle, manned by Armstrong and [Edwin Aldrin Jr.,] separated from the command module, where [Michael Collins] remained…and at 4:18 p.m. the craft touched down on the southwestern edge of the Sea of Tranquility…
“At 10:39 p.m., five hours ahead of the original schedule, Armstrong…made his way down the lunar module’s ladder, a television camera attached to the craft recorded his progress and beamed the signal back to Earth, where hundreds of millions watched in great anticipation. At 10:56 p.m., Armstrong spoke his famous quote, which he later contended was slightly garbled by his microphone and meant to be 'that’s one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind.' He then planted his left foot on the gray, powdery surface, took a cautious step forward, and humanity had walked on the moon.”   -Fox News

 DEMS DRUB THEIR OWN
Fox News: “Democratic presidential candidates Martin O’Malley and Bernie Sanders faced hecklers Saturday in the annual Netroots Nation convention in Phoenix as they tried to impress some of the party’s most influential activists. As O’Malley was being interviewed on stage, demonstrators protesting cases of police brutality and the treatment of black Americans by law enforcement interrupted the setting. The protesters stormed the convention hall chanting, ‘Black lives matter!’…Sanders was met with heckling and protesters from the crowd as well as he tried to address the 3,000 Netroots activists. At one point, Sanders said: ‘Black lives of course matter. I spent 50 years of my life fighting for civil rights and if you don’t want me to be here, that’s OK.’”
Hilly skips it - TIME: “Clinton’s campaign said their candidate could not attend because of scheduling conflicts—though the organizers set the date for the conference a year in advance. Netroots would have been an unwieldy and raucous stage for [Hilly Clinton], who tends to favor controlled spaces. And this year was less controlled than usual…”
Hilly goes big on Latino outreach - LAT: “Now, [political director for Hilly Clinton’s campaign, Amanda Renteria] is putting the campaign’s vast resources to work…Clinton’s massive Latino outreach machine is unprecedented for this stage in a primary. Most Latinos don’t even know the name of Clinton's closest challenger…Yet about 500 days before the general election, the outreach effort overseen by Renteria is running on all cylinders.”   -Fox News

 ELECTION FRAUD TIME AGAIN
{Ed Wood} ~ Gee, how time flies when you’re having fun. Election time again! But isn’t it always?... You who follow these columns may recall that a couple of weeks ago I fearlessly predicted that Hilly would win the 2016 presidential election. Do I think she is the best qualified candidate? Of course not. But her ace in the hole — voter fraud!     http://www.coachisright.com/election-fraud-time-again/

Stop Iran Now Rally in New York’s Times Square Today
{Roger Aronoff} ~ President nObama was on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart Tuesday night, pitching the Iran deal as the best way to prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons, and claiming once again that it came down to this deal, or war... This week he did an end-run around Congress by going to the United Nations, where the UN Security Council unanimously adopted the agreement between the P5+1 (U.S., England, France, Germany, Russia and China) and Iran. As we have pointed out, this agreement virtually guarantees Iran a path to having nuclear weapons, if they don’t already. Plus, it will release them from tough sanctions (no “snap-back” sanctions are feasible), and will soon provide them with approximately $150 billion of their frozen oil revenues to continue to expand their state sponsored terrorism and hegemonic ambitions. The U.S. held all the cards when the negotiations began, yet made concession after concession, completely abandoning numerous red lines that were previously insisted upon. Today, Wednesday July 22nd, an important demonstration and rally will be taking place in Times Square, in the heart of New York City, to call attention to the multitude of problems with this so called agreement, and to try to prevent it from going into effect. It is called the Stop Iran Rally, and features an outstanding lineup of speakers. You probably will see this or heard of this rally before you read this article.

Terror state will likely ramp up Mideast mischief
{Peter Brookes} ~ One of the most troubling elements of the Iranian nuclear deal is the financial lifeline it throws to Tehran by lifting the punitive economic sanctions slapped on it because of bad behavior on atomic affairs... While estimates vary, we’re talking about Tehran pocketing well north of $100 billion – as a start – on “implementation day,” the point at which Iran meets its initial commitments under the non-proliferation pact. That’s a pretty good chunk of change, especially for Iran.        http://www.aim.org/guest-column/terror-state-will-likely-ramp-up-mi...

nObamacare To Be Opened Up To Illegal Immigrants In California
{Jay Caruso} ~ When President nObama was pushing nObamacare, he stated  before a joint session of Congress in September 2009 that it would not be opened up to illegal immigrants... Remember what happened next? Representative Joe Wilson yelled, “You lie!” and it caused quite a stir. Wilson may have violated the rules of decorum, but was he wrong? It has taken some time, but President nObama may owe Wilson an apology. This is pretty remarkable. How many promises has President nObama made about his signature healthcare plan that have turned out not to be true?       http://legalinsurrection.com/2015/07/obamacare-to-be-opened-up-to-i...

State Dept Can't Stop Lying About Last Minute Cave To Demand...
{Jeff Dunetz} ~ The nObama administration is trying (unsuccessfully) to articulate a clear defense for why it caved to the last minute Iranian-Russian demand at Vienna that the final P5+1 deal lift the U.N. arms, and missile embargo... And they haven't event tried to explain why they caved into that demand without extracting another concession from Iran, like the release of the four prisoners held by the rogue regime. The talking points the State Department has been they've been using for the past few days is the arms embargo was designed to bring Iran to the negotiating table, so that once the Iranians accepted negotiations all the administration could do was delay the inevitable. Interesting argument, however it's is a lie er...misstatement of the truth. At one point they even claimed the lifting of the restrictions were a victory because they delayed the lifting of the arms embargo by five years and the missile embargo by eight years. As hanoi Kerry said on Fox News Sunday:
.
Senators say documents missing from Iran deal
{Charles Hoskinson} ~Two key documents are missing from the Iran nuclear deal submitted to Congress, and the two leaders of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee want the nObama administration to hand them over, Chairman Bob Corker said Tuesday... The Tennessee Republican said he and ranking Democrat Ben Cardin of Maryland wrote to request the missing documents, which he said deal with an Iranian military facility at Parchin and a side agreement Iran reached with the International Atomic Energy Agency. You can forget those documents being handed over in a timely fashion. Kind of wonder why they won't handed over in the first place.
.
nObama Urges Congress to Cave to International Consensus...
{Suzanne Hamner} ~ It is more than a sad day in the united States of America when a sitting president tells Congress, in so many words, to surrender their constitutional authority, “pay attention to international consensus,” and “go along” with what has been done regarding the Iran Nuclear Deal... In a 15-0 vote, the United Nations Security Council approved the nObama brokered Iran deal, agreeing to lift international sanctions before the US Congress reviewed the deal to determine if the US would participate. The UN Security Council (united States, Britain, France, Russia, China and Germany) consists of five permanent members plus one, with only the permanent members retaining veto power. On Monday, nObama told members of Congress, “There is broad international consensus around this issue, not just among the international community but also among experts in the nuclear proliferation and my working assumption is that Congress will pay attention to that broad-based consensus around this issue, not just among the international community but also among experts in the nuclear proliferation and my working assumption is that Congress will pay attention to that broad-based consensus around this issue.”
.
backstabber Boehner vows fight to scuttle Iran nuclear deal
{foxnews.com} ~ House Speaker backstabber John Boehner vowed Wednesday to do “everything possible” to stop the newly struck Iran nuclear deal, as Congress formally begins consideration of the hard-fought pact... “While the president’s Iran deal may have been applauded at the United Nations, I think he faces serious skepticism here at home,” backstabber Boehner told reporters at a briefing. “Let me just assure you that members of Congress will ask much tougher questions this afternoon when we meet with the president’s team, because a bad deal threatens the security of the American people.” The warning comes just days after the U.N. Security Council endorsed the deal, over the objections of many in Congress. It would be nice to finally see Congress stand up to nObama.
.
SURPRISE! THE STATES CAN REJECT THE IRAN DEAL   {Joel B. Plooak} ~ The nObama administration has sent the Iran nuclear deal to Congress for a 60-day review provided by the Corker bill... However, President Barack nObama has pre-empted Congress by going to the UN Security Council first, which has already voted to end international sanctions and accept the deal. Furthermore, even if Congress rejects the deal, it will struggle to muster a two-thirds majority to override the president’s veto. There is one effective way, however, that the Iran deal can be rejected: states and local governments can refuse to comply with it. That may come as a surprise. States and local governments do not play much of a role in foreign policy. However, they cannot be forced to implement an international treaty or agreement that is not self-executing–i.e. one whose implementation requires new congressional laws.        http://www.breitbart.com/big-government/2015/07/22/surprise-the-sta...

Washington Post and David Cole Try to Bury History
{Steven Emerson} ~ The Washington Post published a brief letter to the editor from me Friday, addressing some false and misleading statements Georgetown University law professor David Cole made in a recent book review... To fully respond to the mischaracterizations Cole made in reviewing David K. Shipler's book, Freedom of Speech. In one chapter, Shipler devotes considerable effort to trying to debunk a key document outlining the Muslim Brotherhood's long-range ambitions in America. The Brotherhood should engage in "a kind of grand Jihad in eliminating and destroying the Western civilization from within," the 1991 memorandum said. In his review, Cole accuses me and others of using documents like this to make "a business of issuing impassioned, McCarthy-like warnings about Islamist conspiracies to take over the United States" and minimizes the memo as "nothing more than a thought piece drafted by a single individual in the early 1990s."       http://www.investigativeproject.org/4921/washington-post-david-cole...

The Wine-Sipping
Butchers of Planned Parenthood
Michelle Malkin
.
.
{townhall.com} ~ Hannibal Lecter ain't got nothing on the profit-maximizing abortion ghoul caught on tape hawking aborted baby parts as she swilled wine and nibbled on a gourmet salad.
.
In newly released undercover footage from the pro-life Center for Medical Progress, seasoned abortionist Dr. Deborah Nucatola, who serves as national senior director of "medical services" at Planned Parenthood, chitter-chattered eagerly about fulfilling the bloodthirsty demand for "intact hearts," "lower extremities" and lungs.
.
Price tag? "You know, I would throw a number out," she babbled breezily as she twirled her fork. "I would say it's probably anywhere from $30 to $100" per specimen.
.
Hollywood couldn't conjure monsters this chillingly, banally evil.
.
Nucatola exulted at how fetal livers have become tres chic: "A LOT of people" want them.
.
She then spoke of the new hot trends in body-parts trafficking as if she were raving about the latest craze for crop tops or artisanal cheese.
.
"I was like wow," she gushed to her potential clients about the market for unborn baby hearts, "I didn't even know!"
.
Like wow.
.
This master of murderous euphemism repeatedly referred to an unborn baby's head as a "calvarium" and casually described the tricks and techniques she and her fellow abortionists use to "increase your chance of success." Rotating the babies so they are delivered breech before being mutilated and slaughtered by the practitioners of Planned Butcherhood works fabulously, in case you were wondering.
.
Pausing only to swig more luxury libations from her jumbo wine glass, the loquacious death doc explained to investigators posing as fetal tissue company executives how her "providers" use "ultrasound guidance" to target the coveted body parts -- "so they'll know where they're putting their forceps."
.
In a singsong recitation, this lettuce-chomping Mengele in a silk tank top detailed how the "providers" use ultrasound to become "cognizant of where you put your graspers."
.
This method is not employed to reduce the pain and suffering of unborn baby and mother, mind you. It's to get "good at getting heart, lung, liver, because we know that -- so I'm not gonna crush that part. I'm going to basically crush below, I'm gonna crush above, and I'm gonna see if I can get it all intact."
.
Think about that. Planned Parenthood has officially declared it "torture" for women to see their unborn children through ultrasound before submitting to abortion. The billion-dollar abortion industry has lobbied vociferously against increasing ultrasound access to pregnant women on the fence about abortion.
.
But when the same imaging technology is used to help Planned Butcherhood's "providers" place their forceps strategically to protect their precious organ commodities, it's invaluable "guidance."
.
Now you know if you didn't already or if you were in abject denial. Planned Parenthood's fetish for late-term abortion stems not from compassion for mothers, but from the cold-blooded drive to drum up cold, hard cash. The practice has continued for at least 15 years, when Planned Parenthood's human harvesters in Kansas were first uncovered.
.
Can it get any more stomach-turning? Brace yourselves. This video is just the first in a series by the Center for Medical Progress, which has been investigating Planned Butcherhood's illegal, immoral trafficking of aborted fetal parts for almost three years.
.
The expose comes after years of undercover journalistic work by Lila Grace Rose and Live Action, who have caught government-supported Planned Parenthood officials covering up for sexual predators, promoting gendercide, flouting health regulations and disclosure laws, soliciting money from racist eugenics zealots who want more black babies aborted, and perpetuating a homicidal racket in the name of "reproductive health."
.
Nucatola is no rogue underling. She's Planned Parenthood's "senior director" of "medical services" with years of scalpel-wielding, hands-on abortion training. She bragged not only about her own expertise in procurement of baby body parts, but about the everyday trafficking that goes on "behind closed doors" at countless "affiliates."
.
When you've recovered from your nausea, ask yourselves this: What kind of country do we live in where law-abiding businesses are fined, threatened and demonized for refusing to bake gay wedding cakes, but barbaric baby butchers are hailed by feminists, Hollywood and a president who asked God to "bless" them?

Judicial Watch->  Emails Show Dossier-Connected Obama State Dept Officials Set ‘Face-To-Face’ Meeting On ‘Russian Matter’ Shortly Before 2016 Election

Judicial Watch and the Daily Caller News Foundation on Thursday released 84 pages of documents showing Obama’s State Department was central to pushing the ‘Trump-Russia’ hoax shortly before the 2016 election.

The email exchange between then-Assistant Secretary of State Victoria Nuland and Special Coordinator for Libya Jonathan Winer, a very close associate to Christopher Steele, show them discussing a ‘face-to-face’ meeting in New York on a ‘Russian matter’ in September of 2016.

Via Judicial Watch:

Judicial Watch and The Daily Caller News Foundation today released 84 pages of documents, including a September 2016 email exchange between then-Assistant Secretary of State Victoria Nuland and Special Coordinator for Libya Jonathan Winer, a close associate of dossier author Christopher Steele, discussing a “face-to-face” meeting on a “Russian matter.”

(In June 2016 Nuland permitted a meeting between Steele and the FBI’s legal attaché in Rome. Nuland told CBS News that the State Department knew about the Steele dossier by July 2016.)

According to an op-ed Winer wrote for The Washington Post in 2018, also in September 2016, “Steele and I met in Washington and discussed the information now known as the “dossier… I prepared a two-page summary and shared it with Nuland, who indicated that, like me, she felt that the secretary of state needed to be made aware of this material.”

A September 17, 2016, email exchange between Nuland and Winer – that was classified in the interest of national defense or foreign policy – discusses the political situation in Libya, but also brings up a “Russian matter:”

Good. I’ll reach out when im there Sunday. [Redacted]

If Victoria Nuland’s name sounds familiar it’s because she has been on Judicial Watch’s radar for a long time and in many of TGP’s previous reports.

In December 2018, Judicial Watch released documents revealing that Victoria Nuland was involved in the Obama State Department’s urgent gathering of classified Russia investigation information and disseminating it to members of Congress within hours of Donald Trump taking office.

In a related lawsuit, Judicial Watch is suing the State Department communications between Ambassador Nuland and employees of Fusion GPS, as well as top ranking Department of Justice, FBI, and State Department officials.

“The Obama State Department was central to the effort to target President Trump with the Russia smear,” said Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton. “These new emails further show that senior Obama State Department advanced the Russiagate hoax just before the 2016 presidential election.”
