Trump Admin Expands Deportation Policies, Role of USCIS

{ rickwells.us } ~ The Trump administration has expanded the government’s deportation powers, issuing guidelines urging officers at U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services... the agency that oversees legal immigration and naturalization — to begin the removal process for people who use fraudulent documents or who illegally took government benefits. USCIS officers have always had powers, but in the past had usually referred cases to other parts of Homeland Security for decisions on deportation. But new guidance memos reviewed by The Washington Times show USCIS is now pushing to advance its own role in policing illegal immigration. “For too long, USCIS officers uncovering instances of fraudulent or criminal activity have been limited in their ability to help ensure U.S. immigration laws are faithfully executed,” L. Devin Nunes refers liar-Clinton ally Sidney Blumenthal, 

others tied to Trump dossier for testimony

{ washingtonexaminer.com } ~ House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes, R-Calif., sent another letter Thursday — his third in a week... to two fellow GOP chairmen, referring to them 15 people connected to the Russia investigation for testimony in an "open setting." Many of the individuals on the list, sent to House Oversight Committee Chairman Trey Gowdy, R-S.C., and House Judiciary Committee Chairman Bob Goodlatte, R-Va., are tied to liar-Hillary Clinton and the infamous Trump dossier, which contains compromising, yet unverified claims about President Trump's ties to Russia. Compiled in 2016, the research effort was conducted by ex-British spy Christopher Steele and was funded in part by liar-Clinton's presidential campaign and the dummycrats-Democratic National Committee. Glenn Simpson and Thomas Catan, co-founders of Fusion GPS, the opposition research company that commissioned Steele, are included on the list. Also mentioned is Nellie Ohr, wife of Justice Department official Bruce Ohr, whom Republicans in the House Intelligence Committee alleged in a February memo "was employed by Fusion GPS to assist in the cultivation of opposition research on Trump." Ohr, who according to the GOP memo delivered his wife's research to the FBI, was demoted from his role as associate deputy attorney general late last year after it was discovered he had secret meetings with Simpson and Steele...

Mueller Calls on More Prosecutors 

to Help with Expanding Russia Probe

{ nationalreview.com } ~ Special Counsel Robert Mueller is reportedly calling for more manpower to assist him with the probe of Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election...  Bloomberg reported Thursday that Mueller is asking veteran prosecutors from the Justice Department and U.S. attorneys’s offices, as well as FBI agents, for help with new legal battles that have cropped up as a result of his investigation. Though he is not adding to his team of 17 federal prosecutors, he has called on investigators in New York, Alexandria, Va., Pittsburgh, and other cities to help him. Permanent Justice Department units have actually spent more money $9 million on the Russia probe than Mueller’s team $2.3 million. Is Tariq Ramadan a Victim of French Justice?

{ gatestoneinstitute.org } ~ French-bashing is one of the few pleasures still allowed in Europe nowadays, and it seems a bit unkind to deprive you of it... Sadly, a recent piece, by Peter Oborne, accuses the entire French justice system of treating Tariq Ramadan, the sometime academic, stealth Islamist, serial liar and alleged rapist, like a latter-day hero from Les Misérables, supposedly "rotting" in a French jail as a victim of the complete "abandonment of due process". Not quite. Ramadan, the grandson of Muslim Brotherhood founder Hassan Al-Banna, pretends to be "moderate". Yet he has recently argued that FGM, for instance, is a cultural tradition of Muslims, or that corporal punishments including stoning of adulterous women in Islam ought to be the object of a "moratorium" to examine their implications rather than banned. British Prime Minister Tony Blair apparently bought into the fiction that here was the kind of westernised Muslim he needed on an advisory board to his government; and Ramadan got a Qatar-financed chair of sorts at Oxford. Early in 2018, Ramadan got caught in a #MeToo tsunami, with woman after woman coming forward to explain in strikingly similar terms how he used them for rough sex and threatened them afterwards should they dare to talk about it. Here's Why liar-Hillary Is Running Again in 2020

{ americanthinker.com } ~ That's right: liar-Hillary Clinton is running for president again in 2020... She has actually ramped up her campaign since her defeat in 2016! From her Twitter feed to university speeches to appearances abroad – from Ireland to Australia to India – the "I'm with her" campaign continues. The message remains the same: Donald Trump is racist and sexist, and his supporters are deplorable. liar-Hillary also continues to preach that she won the 2016 popular vote by 3,000,000 votes, but because of the electoral college hat damn Constitution thing and RussiaRussia Russia, she was robbed of her rightful prize and place in history. liar-Hillary has a highly plausible path to the dummycrats-Democratic Party nomination, something no other potential dummycrats-Democrat candidate for president can say. In the primaries, liar-Hillary Clinton's name recognition and loyal voters would earn her an easy 25% of the vote, while the anti/ liar-Hillary vote would split among as many as ten other candidates at about 5-10% each. This is not dissimilar to what Trump accomplished on the Republican side in 2016. With a solid base of supporters, Trump was able to win primary after primary while the others split the vote. Each time someone dropped out, Trump picked up about half of his supporters, with the other half disbursed among the other candidates. Contrasting Party Visions — Hope vs. Despair 

by Nate Jackson:  Just ahead of Independence Day, we noted a Gallup poll revealing the chasm between dummycrats-Democrats and Republicans in terms of patriotism. Then the two political parties’ leaders proceeded to vividly illustrate the point.

              dummycrats-Democratic National Committee Chair Tom Perez marked Independence Day with a dour statement painting a dismal picture of America. “As we celebrate our nation’s independence, we recognize that America’s founding promise remains out of reach for too many families,” he complained. “Too many members of our society are still struggling to find a good-paying job or get the health care they need. Too many women, LGBTQ Americans, people of color, and people with disabilities still face inequality and injustice across our society. Everywhere we look, our most fundamental values are under attack.”
               On that last count, he focused on the Supreme Court, which, after Justice Anthony Kennedy’s retirement, President Donald Trump has the chance to shape. Because of recent Court decisions, Perez implies, workers’ rights, Muslims’ rights and women’s rights are all “under threat like never before.” And, he says, don’t forget all those children at the border.
               For patriotic Americans, on the other hand, we’re encouraged by the Supreme Court upholding the Constitution and Rule of Law, however narrowly. We’re heartened by soaring consumer confidence, rising small business optimism and record wage increases to go along with record-low unemployment. We anticipate another good jobs report tomorrow.
               In the Left’s alternate reality, Perez is busy whining that jobs aren’t “good-paying,” and leftists like Bill Maher are explicitly  hoping for recession just to spite Trump.
               As for Trump? He hosted the White House’s annual Independence Day picnic for military families. “Thank you for keeping America safe, strong, proud, mighty and free,” he said. “Our freedom only exists because there are brave Americans willing to give their lives to defend it and defend our great country,” he continued. “American Liberty has been earned through the blood, sweat and sacrifice of American patriots.”
               Indeed, it isn’t the people who divide us, tear down our traditions and usurp our Liberty who make this nation great; it is Patriots who love our country enough to sacrifice for it. Quite a contrast.
