CNN analyst Van Jones issued an emotional on-air response to Donald Trump’s stunning presidential victory, crediting the Republican’s success to a “whitelash against a changing country.”

“It’s hard to be a parent tonight for a lot of us. You tell your kids don’t be a bully, you tell your kids don’t be a bigot … and then you have this outcome,” Mr. Jones, a former adviser to President Obama, said early Wednesday morning as it became apparent Mr. Trump would win.

“You have people putting children to bed tonight and they are afraid of breakfast. They’re afraid of ‘How do I explain this to my children?’ “

Mr. Jones said immigrant families are “terrified” of the election results and many of his Muslim friends are thinking of leaving the country.

“This was a rebellion against the elites. True,” he acknowledged.

“But we haven’t talked about race,” he said. “This was a whitelash against a changing country. It was whitelash against a black president in part. And that’s the part where the pain comes.”

Anti-semitic, anti-Trump graffiti found on Univ. of New Mexico sculpture

- Associated Press - Wednesday, November 9, 2016

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) - University of New Mexico officials say an unknown person has defaced several buildings on campus with anti-Donald Trump graffiti.

The Albuquerque Journal says that a student reported early Wednesday morning that references to Nazis along with the president-elect’s last name were scrawled on an outdoor sculpture.

The suspected vandal had spray-painted a swatstika and the German phrase commonly used as a Nazi salute on the concrete art piece.

University spokeswoman Dianne Anderson says graffiti was also found on three other buildings including a library.

She says maintenance crews are working to clean it all off.

Campus police is asking anyone with information about the vandalism to contact them.

One always must enjoy seeing vandals paint swastikas on public buildings and then call others--racists, "bigots" or Nazis.

But then--today's average college student is "taught" (babbled-to) by some drug-crazed burnt-out ex-hippie over 60 who could not possibly hold any job anywhere else on Earth but in some slimy rotten college where transgendered professors whisper to one another about what sex they think they might be--from day-to-day.

No it was backlash against a crapy president had nothing to do with race.this is the most racially tolerant country in the world and some how we should still feel guilty. 4 black thugs get shot the world knows their name, name 1 white one. I'm waiting.... and I wouldn't worry to much about your muslim friends leaving ,parasites don't leave until forcibly removed.I agree those kids are going to bed scared. But it's because their smart enough to know their role models are full of shit.

What is needed in the transition over the next several weeks. Offer the sorelosers/disgruntled/libble/sheeples a one way ticket out of the USA!  The initial investment will pay off hundreds of times over!  The stipulation is to Renounce Citizenship if you don't love the USA! GTFO!!!!

This upsets me how they are going to try and  spin this about disappointing. It's as though they put a straight jacket on everybody and everybody has to prove they are not racist....and then 'real' issues are not being discussed like the war on True Christianity and the moral fabric of out country and our economic well being,

This black man has hate in his heart and God doesn't reside there. He is blinded to the fact that all colors were involved and he doesn't like it! Why you may ask... I'll tell you... it hits him in his comfortable cushy job that is starving his black brothers across the nation. As long as his life doesn't change he's fine with the status quo but let him suffer losses or that golden ring that someone stuck in front of his face then everyone is wrong and he is right to speak the race card dialog. Shame on you, you selfish person. You care about nothing but yourself!

This guy isn't (black) enough.
He's not crisp.

You want to unscrupulessly use the race card after we (including white people) put Obama in power for eight years? You are a low life piece of crap no matter what your skin color is. Afraid of breakfast? Grow a real pair of balls candyass.

And Van Jones is 'blacktrash'.

These liberal mouthpieces have nothing but hate in they're heart. They're starting to believe there own lies. Liberals are the haters.

This communist can join the Hollywood bunch and leave. We would be better off without this agitator.

TRUMP:  Trump To Give ‘Start Your Engines’ Command At Dayton

President Donald Trump will give the command for drivers to start their engines before the Daytona 500.

Daytona International Speedway officials named Trump the grand marshal for NASCAR’s season opener, meaning he will deliver the most famous four words in auto racing. “Gentleman, start your engines,” has been a staple of races around the country and world for decades.

White House spokesman Judd Deere said Thursday the president plans to attend the race. Track president Chip Wile confirmed the news in a release.

“Daytona International Speedway has been privileged to have hosted several sitting presidents of the United States over our history,” Wile said. “We’re honored that the president of the United States has chosen to experience the pageantry and excitement of ‘The Great American Race.’”

Trump is the third sitting president to attend a race at Daytona, but only the second to attend the Daytona 500. George W. Bush attended in 2004. Trump is the first to be given an honorary role in pre-race ceremonies.

Trump is scheduled to spend part of the Presidents Day weekend at his private club in Palm Beach, Florida.

The Federal Aviation Administration issued a flight restriction for Sunday and the U.S. Secret Service, which is responsible for presidential security, also tweeted to fans that drones are prohibited within 30 miles of the race in Daytona Beach — a restriction put in place for presidential visits.

Trump has hosted previous NASCAR champions at the White House and last October awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom to motorsports titan Roger Penske. Last year, Trump also praised retired driver Mario Andretti, the Daytona 500 winner in 1967, reminiscing about a ride Andretti gave him in a race car for his reality show “The Apprentice.”

“I said, ‘Mario, get me out of here. I want to get out of this car,’” Trump recalled. “We went so fast. We literally — we covered four blocks in like a second.”
