The Liberal Democrats and their toadies in the mainstream press always portray greed as the motivator of the rich, those who make a profit from their initiative. Greed they insist is the motivator of capitalism. Their evidence is Income Inequality between Rich and Poor, as though these two classes were large mobs on the street about to fight it out. The only way to “equalize” income is to take it from the greedy rich group and give it to the deserving poor group.

Let’s clarify something. There are no organized masses of rich and poor, no big country club where the Rich meet to conspire against the Poor, and no one big slum where the Poor all gather to defend themselves. The Rich and the Poor are actually many individuals living all over the place, some in better houses in better neighborhoods, but individuals, distinct from one another as all individuals are. That some people have more than others is a matter not of class, but of effort and circumstance.

POLL: Should people who are on welfare be drug tested?

Most of the so-called Rich are people who work hard to attain wealth. They educate themselves, invest, earn, save and spend wisely. These are not class characteristics, but factors that distinguish successful from unsuccessful people, and they are available to everyone who pursues them. Getting an education is not always easy. It requires positive attitudes and effort. A person who resents having to work will not try, but will be consumed by his resentment and envy of those who work. It is a fact of nature that some people have greater natural gifts than others. Everyone knows this. And because people vary widely from one another, some people will have to work harder, smarter or more diligently than others.

There is nothing government can do about this inequity. It is a natural circumstance. But there are many ways a person can improve his circumstances. The first thing is getting a basic education, learning to read, write clearly and calculate numbers accurately. Every student who attends a free public school can acquire these by paying attention in class and doing his homework. These simple skills can lift a person out of poverty and into a job from which he can advance by applying the diligent effort.

It goes against all laws of nature that things be "equal". We are created with the equal "opportunity" to go out and make our way in this life. Some make more of an effort than others. This administration is the most divisive administration in the history of the United States. I would suggest that the progressives read up on their history and evolution....

Yep that's the way its done alright.

"...all men are created equal..."

This statement is true, but they immediately begin to diverge.

The Law of Exchange says, "something for something." The Law of Criminal Exchange says, "something for nothing." The alumni of San Quentin are the extreme offenders of exchange because they couldn't be bothered with filling out the welfare 'legal' forms. A gradient difference with similar living conditions, both are the end product of Socialism...Semper Fi Nam 66-67

I'm almost to the point of giving up..  I get so discouraged by the idiots in this country.  This once great nation is going down the toilet, faster and faster. and guess what?  NOBODY CARES!  They just sit on their fat asses in front of the TV watching bullshit shows about the lives of the Kardashians (who the fuck are these people anyway, and why do they matter?) or other so-called "reality" shows, instead of living a real life, and caring about the real world.   Satiated by their free EBT, Obamacare, Obamaphone, etc.  Sickening.

These lazy, good for nothing slugs that feel they are "entitled" to everything are not going to give it up.  Why would they?

I am saddened to think (but am convinced) that the only way to fix this broken mess is something horrible and long.

I too feel hopeless sometimes... and then I look into the eyes of my grandchildren, especially the boys because of the "white male entitlement" attacks of late, and I realize I must not give up for their sake. Fight on!!!

I fail to understand why more of us do not understand that this is wrong. It is wrong for them to think of themselves as entitled to what we earn, that we are wrong to allow them to continue to take it, and it is time to shame and replace politicians who support this nonsense.

Beware of that "public school" INDOCTRINATION!

Not only should people on welfare be drug tested ,but they should have to work on state ,and Goverment Projects like reparing roads ,Locks <water ways, cleaning our parks and mantaining them and bridges, in order to get a check . And anyone 18 years men and woman on welfar should be drafted into the armed services for 4 years. see if they still like the free ride then .

I agree Mary N. if Pepole are Truly Dissabled we do need to provide for them OUR Citizens, Like God said what ever you do to the least you do to me.

I agree.  Gov Pete Wilson tried this in CA (early 90s); the uproar and gov. lawsuits by organized groups against the government were horrendous.  it wasn't like he made them (even) do road-repairs, etc. but volunteer at a child daycare program for xx many hours, help in food kitchens serving the homeless was another option, working to help the elderly, even donating time to the local SPCAs was an option... a bunch of other nice things - the recipients found this to be unacceptable and "slavery."  So it went away.  Kind of sad - those that want to be supported for nothing are unwilling to help others(?)

The liberals keep the poor  poor.  have been doing it for years and years.  The poor just don't try to get out.  They must work and they don't.

YIKES!!! Chelsea Clinton Emphatically States A Person With A Beard And A Penis Can ‘Absolutely’ Identify As A Woman

  • The one issue Hillary and Chelsea don’t appear to agree on entirely is transgender self-identification
  • In an interview with The Sunday Times, journalist Decca Aitkenhead asked the Clintons about transgender self-identification
  • Chelsea Clinton replied ‘yes’ emphatically when asked if someone with a beard and penis can ever be a woman
  • ‘It’s going to take a lot more time and effort to understand what it means to be defining yourself differently,’ Hillary said
  • Aitkenhead said Hillary became ‘uneasy’ when the question was asked while Chelsea shot a ‘furious stare’ at the journalist as her mother answered
  • Hillary added: ‘It’s a very big generational discussion, because this is not something I grew up with or ever saw’

(Daily Mail) – It may appear Hillary and Chelsea Clinton always see eye-to-eye, but in a recent interview one topic cracked the facade of the like-minded mother-daughter power duo.

The one issue Hillary and Chelsea don’t appear to agree on entirely is transgender self-identification.

In an interview with The Sunday Times, journalist Decca Aitkenhead asked the Clintons if someone with a beard and a penis can ever be a woman, to which Chelsea replied emphatically, ‘Yes.’

However, as Aitkenhead describes it, Hillary looked ‘uneasy’, and blamed generational gaps for being less accepting.

‘Errr. I’m just learning about this,’ Hillary responded. ‘It’s a very big generational discussion, because this is not something I grew up with or ever saw. It’s going to take a lot more time and effort to understand what it means to be defining yourself differently.’

The Clintons sat sown with Aitkenhead to promote the book they co-authored, The Book of Gutsy Women: Favorite Stories of Courage and Resilience.

The book features Danica Roem, the first trans woman elected to a U.S. state legislature.

According Aitkenhead’s account, she tells Hillary during the interview that many British feminists of Hillary’s generation have a problem with the idea that a ‘lesbian who doesn’t want to sleep with someone who has a penis is transphobic.’

Hillary nods in agreement, while Chelsea ‘stiffens and stares at me’, according to Aitkenhead.

The journalist then adds that many women of Hillary’s generation are uncomfortable with biological males sharing women’s bathrooms.

‘I would say that, absolutely,’ Hillary nods firmly. ‘Absolutely. Yes.’

That’s when Chelsea begins shooting a ‘furious stare’ at Aitkenhead, who points it out to her.

‘I’m a terrible actor’, Chelsea laughs.

Chelsea then says she is thrilled with the National Health Service’s decision to assign patients to single-sex wards according to the gender they identify as, instead of their biological make up.

‘How can you treat someone if you don’t recognize who they feel and know in their core they are?’ Chelsea says.

‘And I strongly support children being able to play on the sports teams that match their own gender identity,’ she adds. ‘I think we need to be doing everything we can to support kids in being whoever they know themselves to be and discovering who they are.’

At this point Hillary looks conflicted.

‘I think you’ve got to be sensitive to how difficult this is,’ Hillary says. ‘There are women who’d say [to a trans woman], ”You know what, you’ve never had the kind of life experiences that I’ve had. So I respect who you are, but don’t tell me you’re the same as me.” I hear that conversation all the time.’

Despite the clear tension in the room, the pair say they don’t argue about this topic.

But according to Aitkenhead, ‘I get the impression they don’t like to present anything less than a united front to the world.’
